I hardly ever do actually mention football 'cuz I am so far out of the sports loop on most things...

Oh yes LORI wool socks are out and shoes are on and woolen clothes are on and generally I am now headed to cheering on the shortest day of the year so I can start building on gaining day light again. We have had evening temperatures of 30 F degreess several times and it has not yet dipped in the 20 F...
The colours continue to be stunning and we are all like mad people spending every minute we can outside...looking for vitamin D3 and already taking suppliments...it is all good...I am also taking cod liver oil twice a day to help me deal with toxins as I spend more time indoors and not sweat as much. In the summer time sweat takes care of the toxins and I always think I need an extra boost in the winter. So we are headed there.

Looking to hear about MICHAEL and DENNIS tomorrow to find out what their medical teams plans are for these two fine men. God Bless them Both...

Yes THELMA everytime someone mentiones the Red Skins I say LYNN'S team...I do miss her and her insights and her straight forward manner about things...she was indeed a Gracious Lady and how luck we all were that she was with us on the blog...♥♥♥LYNN♥♥♥

Thinking of you too JO and hoping your appointments go well as they come up...am I right they are this week?

SANDI good on you for solving BANDIT'S problem and keeping him down stairs...

We have a rainy week coming up and it has been raining for two days already so everything looks so very fresh.

I had a four hour yoga workshop today and it was delightful...an excellent teacher and very knowledgeable. I feel grateful.

Gee, Lol, football was good here! LOL
Read everything after lunch and am pretty much up to date. Was going to comment then, but had to go assist Fubby by putting a large decal on hood of his newest 4- wheel acquisition. He stole MY favorite brand and ordered some matching goodies that I can pay for for his B'Day!!!!!! NOT FAIR!

We had Kids Day in the Kountry yesterday at the Park. I had to work even tho it was my off -ha ha-- Saturday. Was fun last year w/Flat Stanley's visit! Next weekend will be the Am. Indian Festival, but it's at other end of Park in big field, so don't know what area I'll be assigned.

Was glad to read our Birthday Gals had great celebrations.
Happy to see Michael has gone to rehab already!!!! ☺ ☺ ☺ ☺
Linda, hope you and Dennis had a restful day. Your circumstances make me so mad, I hope no one gets any medical bills!!!Prayers for Dennis' next round at hosp.
Margy, that's great about eagles in your area!! I still haven't seen any~~~~too many leaves or you have to be on a boat!
I sure hope Brother Cat returns to Lynne and Steve.
Hope everyone had a pleasant weekend! ♥

Sorry about the Cowboys, Lolly.

Hail to the Redskins. We needed that victory.

Rus was at the game today. We had invited him to come down and celebrate his birthday, but he had other plans. Birthday was the 8th, but we had to wait until Suzi got back from her cruise.

Guess we will celebrate next weekend. I am sure he enjoyed the game.

Funny, Loweeeeeda!

I am thinking of going to bathe. Looking forward to bedtime. The bunk bed mattresses at the retreat are so hard. I could not get comfortable. Also, we had storms roll through during the night. Really fierce with wind and lots of hard rain at retreat. Jack slept through what we got here, about a half inch. We were once again needing rain, so all is good.

I totally missed Wanda's Birthday!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, WANDA♥

Glad you enjoyed your birthday dinner!

Lolly said...

Thanks, Shirley! Some dumb mistakes were made in the game, but it was close and exciting.

So, what's with the house? Found someone to do the work yet?

Oh, and forgot to tell you. At retreat I had my phone on vibrate. Missed 3 call, when I saw Jack had tried to reach me 3 times I about paniced. BUT, he just wanted to tell me that Joseph had been the start of his soccer game. They beat 5 to 4 an undeafeated team. The coach from the other team came over and told him YOU won the game. How about that for our goalie?!! His birthday is this week so we will be going Thursday to Denton. Taking Joseph's request...a pumpkin pie, no birthday cake. lol

evening ya'll.

LORI: thanks for the compliment on miss olivia.
HODA: a FOUR HOUR yoga workshop? were you doing yoga for FOUR HOURS???? wow!

Tomorrow is my yoga day and I shall enjoy it as it is followed by two very light work days. only one massage on Tuesday and none on wed. next week we get back to rockin' and rollin'.

Today has been a very busy day. Tom and I decided to drive to Columbia, TN and check out this travel trailer . We've been looking around for the better part of two years trying to find one...right size, right price, etc. Well, we found it and brought it home! This will make our vacations a bit easier....it is very small, only 19 foot, but its the three of us and Maybe Beano....maybe. Most likely, Beano. Anyway, it is used, but its in good shape, everything works and in our price range! :) happy dance! There is a retreat in May I have gone to for two years in a row, out at Montgomery Bell State Park. I already have the time off for the 2013 retreat, its a Thursday, Friday, SAt and come home Sun. In stead of staying in a cabin which is very much roughing it, we can now use the camper!!!! Not roughing it so much!

It has AIR CONDITIONING!!! May in Tn is hot and sticky. A/C is a beautiful thing.

Lost all 3 games bowling this week (again) but I had a better week. Last week I could not hit the broad side of a barn if you paid me to do so! This week, better.

Well, Livvy is back to school this week and Tom back to work. They seem to have had a nice fall break. Hard to believe it is over already!

Gotta get some sleep folks......have pleasant dreams.....see you in the morning!

How are you Margy and Lolly?

I just finished my taxes, will finally get my federal refund. Have to get some blank forms for the MD return, Turbo Tax doesn't figure my Maryland taxes properly. Hope to finish that this week.

Headed to bed, tuckerd out from the busy weekend.

Love you all, SED, love and hugs to all ♥

Good Monday morning my eagle friends!

Hoping for good news on Michael and Dennis today - prayers continue!

Will be calling the vet today but not to schedule surgery. Bandit has been scratching/licking chewing the fur off his stomach for the past few days. Last night, when I tried to look at the area to put medicine for hot spots on it, he bit me - 3 puncture wounds on my hand. If he will bite me when he's not in any pain (that I'm aware of), then how am I supposed to take care of the incision when he gets home after surgery? Will call the vet for oral meds to stop the itching and will take him out more often to prevent accidents in the house. If/when the accidents get too frequent, I think it will be time. Cannot have a dog that bites me.

Have a good day all.

Oh, SANDI, I'm so sorry that Bandit bit you! I only wish we could know what they were thinking and that they could talk to tell us what's wrong. I sure hope you're okay - no stitches?

T-Bird said...

I agree with you LORI. If they could only talk. So sorry SANDI. I understand now you are in a dilemma. We will pray that a solution will reveal itself and that you will have the power to carry it out. I know it really worries you. It is scary when they bite us. Buddy has bitten Sharon and Justin and myself on more than one occasion, especially when we first got him he would bite me. He felt the need to fight over his food. He must of had to fight for food either on the street or with some sibblings. I find it very difficult because I was always taught if a dog bites a human then you've got to take drastic action. Harry really gave me a good bite not too long ago. That was my fault though because I was trying to break up a fight.

Big Hugs, THELMA!

If only they could talk Oh how many times I want to talk to Dex about where we are and what we need to do. So hard to call it alone. Prayers for Michael and Dennis today and of course for MeMa Jo too. I am headed to Farm and Fleet for winter supply of birdseed and then a stop at Walmart for well lots of things. I used to shop at Walmart weekly but its far enough away that with the price of gas I wait until I can save at least $4 over my near by grocery as that is pretty much what it costs me in gas to get there. :-( HAGD everyone.

Good morning! Slept late but better yet, slept through the night not waking up once. That is a rare occurance.

Today more pecan picking and need to run some errands.

Have a great day!
