Almost noon and temp is now 98º Really hate the heat.

Judy E, thanks for the explanation about Jordyn. Now it makes sense. I think the transition will be more difficult for you but she will gain so much by being with other children sharing little people experiences together.

Wanda, I know it's too late but do hope you and the Capt. can stay cool today and the food unloading is finished quickly. Please give GG a hug for me. Sorry about the shootings and fireworks cancellation but at least no fatality.

Yes, Shirley, money is the name of the game. Our prior community had a HOA and we had a contract directly with the trash collection company.

Okay, back to studying arson. Bye

One of our fireworks in Pasco was cancelled last night A mortar shell blew up in his face so the are rescheduling for tonight
A woman jumped off the Skyway Bridge last nite and survived a fisher man rescued her Off course she is baker acted now Not for sure if you all have seen the Skyway bridge its high high up and surprised she survived just on the news now

Judy--this is not a holiday change.

It is a permanent change. I hate to think what will happen if there is a holiday on the regular pick-up day. Two weeks without a pick-up?

And if we miss a pick-up because we are away or forget, I guess we go to the dump ourselves. Not excited about putting that stuff in my car, though.

stronghunter said...

They do have a recycling day, and I try to put as much as possible into the recycle can, but it has not helped much.

I wonder if people might just put trash in their recycle can. But recycle day is on Wednesday and trash day is on Thursday. Wonder if that is part of their plan. Not much time in between.

JudyEddy said...

Angie just called headin there for lunch she wants to try BK pulled pork BBQ sandwich I have been braging about

stronghunter said...

I am thinking that I should suggest a contract to our HOA. It really looks like the trash people are coming more often to the rental homes just down the street. I wonder if their management company worked something out.

Only thing about that is that the last time I tried to contact the HOA, I heard nothing back. Makes me wonder about them.

Then, there is the possibility of finding another trash company looking for customers.

These people bought out our prior companies--yes, more than one prior company.

Back for BK lounge with Angie Yep she like the sweet potato fries and BBQ pulled sandwich ran to the bank and cashed Candy, and Linda checks for the eagle shirts First time I have used the driveup window in about 10years I think

SHIRLEY so sorry about the change in the pickup of garbage Did they give a reason why Job cuts etc. June and Terry had to go to the convenience center to dump their own garbage in NC no pick up in the mountains I would hate to have to haul my own garbage to the dump that is not convenient I think I always laughed at the name of it Its a local gathering and gossip place Terry would say
Now when June goes there the guy runs up to help her with it because it was always Terry that went

Good afternoon! Worked in the yard this morning...watering. Slept til 8. I was so tired last night. We ate soooo much food and then had to park and walk a long distance to the fireworks. OMG! The crowd was amazing! Can only think that the weather being just a little nicer this summer accounted for the huge crowd.

Shirley, how are you feeling? Tsk Tsk! Breaking a Momster rule!!!

Lolly said...

LINDA, had to go to your fb page to see your picture of yesterday's bear. It never showed up on my newsfeed. Hmmmmm?????

Lolly said...

I almost cried when I read about Lynn's family being with you last night, Wanda. That is so very special! Sorry you did not have fireworks, bummer.

How is GG today?

stronghunter said...

101 degrees here now.

stronghunter said...

and the part about the ribs and the knee, yep I am intentionally repeating that !

Sounds like you had some good Jordyn time, JudyE

Lots of people outside doing hot things like mowing....
I kinda thought it was not such a good idea to mow when the temps were over 90 - but, oh well,

Hoping that all are doing at least - relatively fine...
wondering if KAY has made it to her home roost....hope to hear of that when it happens!

oh man Lolly, I could use a seamstress!

I have several pair of really nice pants given to me by a dear friend that are about 5 inches too long in the leg !

Lolly said...

Well, come on over Margy! I can shorten those britches in no time. The problem Laurel and I have is finding pants long enough. Also, I need to lengthen Elvis's suit. Now, that is going to be a job. Need to find matching white material as well red satin for the insert at the cuff. Groan.........

Hi all....

whew, bad storm at work, then I drove right back in to it on the way home, came upon a VERY bad accident, had to detour. I had enough gas to make it home but it was close. Didn't storm here, but thundered. Power has been flickering. UGH!

This has been a MOST unhappy week for Daisy Mae between the storms the the fireworks/firecrackers.

CA...OMG so terrible about the foot incident. Geesh...sure hope recovery will be quick. What a life changing event. So sorry for your cousin.

Glad everyone had a good time with Wanda and Gene yesterday, even if no fireworks!

Lynne2 said...

Shirley, I'm glad you seem to be OK after your loosing battle with the chair. However, you have broken the "no falling" rule and you will have to have a time out if it happens again. LOL!

Lynne2 said...

I walked in to work today to find FIVE hospitalized animals, 3 from various dietary indiscretions from yesterday. Another had to have emergency surgery. Found a large plastic bag wrapped up in the intestines. Another with a foreign body, a dog who was pretty eldery, and suffering from other older dog aliments, had to be euthanized. We have one coming tomorrow that help herself to some BBQ ribs on SUNDAY, with the BONES still in. Only bad diarrhea so far, still eating, no vomiting. Can't imagine why they waited until THURSDAY at 6:30 pm to call....had to tell them that if the condition of the dog deteriorated in any way, they'd need to go to the ER. UGH.

Lynne2 said...

Several calls regarding dogs lost in the fireworks confusion too. Honestly, I don't understand why people aren't just more careful.....

Lynne2 said...

And so ends my day. I must get myself to the shower and to bed.

Will try to catch up tomorrow if time allows.

Judie said...

Hi everyone!

Glad Shirley is promising to take care, Judy had fun with Jordyn, Margy's headed to the Big House, and Paula checked in.

Hope Wanda and Gene were able to get food stored and keep cool at the same time. Thinking about GG.

Lynne2, so sorry you had such an emotional day. Hope some well-deserved sleep will help.

Decided it is time to try to find information about my family. Only knew names of immediate and maternal grandparents. Joined Ancestry.com today and have already made some interesting discoveries. Searching takes time and is tiring but I am having some fun playing detective.

grannyblt said...

Evening all.

Sorry Lynne2 had a rough ride home and a rough day at the workplace. I took my Daisy in for her annual. She was just great for a 9 year old golden. However when I went in a couple was leaving--crying--not a good sign.

Margy, I would be so happy to have pants too long--and sleeves too. Ah well, I guess none of us have exactly what we want.

Shirley, we only have garbage collected once a week. for a persom living alone, no problem, not so much for the large family down the street.

I hope everyone has power back and thank goodness for the inventers of air conditioning. My truck's air has been out a couple of summers and I only go for necessary errands on hot days. I guess I am saving gas this way....

SED to all.

Judie said...

The sandperson is shuffling around in the hallway acting all impatient. Guess I need to close up shop.

grannyblt said...

Judie, finding one's relaties can be really fun. It is tiring and I think a hobby that goes on for years. If you have ever watched that television program "Who do you Think you are?" they make the searching look so easy, but it can take a lot of time and dead ends. Hope your search is successful.

magpie said...

wait wait don't go....

grannyblt, maybe I could send you something....too long or with sleeves, I have quite a collection!

Judie...you are in for a lot of fun

i have more to say...in a minute

First, the moon is rising and looks like it is on Fire...big and orange

Judie, I think we might have had once-a-week trash pickup at some time long ago, but we have had it picked up on Tuesdays and Fridays for years now.

Then, a new company bought out the one we had and sent out letters saying that it would be once a week. No price change.

They do pick up recycled stuff on another day, but my trash can has been overflowing and full of maggots more than once recently.

I don't know if I can find another company or not. Maybe.

Margy, I am feeling better this evening.

Truth is, when I broke my ribs, they just told me that my ribs were broken and I could take some pain pills if I needed them, so ...

Lolly said...

Have been watching fireworks. We recorded several programs that were on TV. Watched 2 of them tonight. Going to save the Boston fireworks to show Laurel and the boys. Great fireworks!

stronghunter said...

But this trash company is still picking up twice a week in some places. Do not know why we are being treated differently.

stronghunter said...

Need to quit for the night and go upstairs. I will see you all tomorrow.

Lolly said...

Night Shirley! I am going to shut down for the night. Going to put my nose in a book for a while!

Night all! SED!!!!

Costume Lady said...

Well, I came here to say good night and there you are 'talking trash'!
We have always had once a week trash pick-up and the cost is $70 every 3 months...don't have the slightest idea if that is a lot of $ or not. Gotta pay it regardless or go to the Land Fill and there's not enough hours in a day to drive to the dump and fight the flies and rats:)

It was 99° when we met the Food Bank truck and the guys were so, so hot and sweaty. We females don't help with the loading and unloading...we make sure we got everything we ordered, then help put away everything that we can handle, like bread/rolls, pastries, eggs, milk, produce, etc.
We got 15 cases of chicken legs/thighs (each case has 4/10lb bags of chicken) and we will give one 10 lb. bag to each client along with 24 cans of fruits and veggies. We pass this out twice a month. Sometimes it is a different meat and in addition to the canned goods, we give them pasta sauce and pasta. Whatever the Food Bank has available is different month to month...never know what we can get until I put my order in. Our contact in Gassaway, WV, told us they once had a load of LOBSTERS...that was way before our time:( sob, sob...

GG was pretty much the same today,
we didn't get there til late and she was in bed, but she got up and ate a little...said she wasn't hungry. WELL, it's no wonder, she ate all of the left-over dessert that Christie had made. It was a compot filled with cake, whipped cream and blueberries, strawberries and it was Red, White and Blue, just beautiful and DELICIOUS!

OK, it's tomorrow, so I need to get into bed. Prayers and love for you all♥

Ms Bookworm said...

Hi, Everyone,
Fell asleep in front of the TV again. Hadn't planned to do that, but at least I woke up before midnight!

Oh, golly! CarolAnne, prayers for your cousin! What a sad story! Hope that recovery will be swift after the new surgery.

That rascal GG♥! Think I would've been tempted to snarf that yummy compote, too! God bless her.

Shirley, glad you're feeling better tonight. Hope nothing got broken other than the chair! Prayers & (((HUGS)))!!

Judie, welcome to Ancestry.com! I joined it about a year ago, I think, and it is fascinating! Bet you'll have fun with it.

Lynne2, sorry you had such a stressful day at work! Hope tomorrow will be MUCH better!

Well, need to get to bed. Have said prayers for everyone, and every creature. The porch light is on, and both security systems are enabled. Wishing for SED for everyone. God bless, and goodnight.

aaaah yes that Christie Compote, that was something !!

Big surprise....Hot again already this morning

Shirley...sure hoping you will continue to feel better, and that that there will some resolution to the change-up in the trash pick up situation...

Saving cans and containers for some of the "wet garbage" before it goes into the trash....and maybe some composting, would help a little? All I can say for now though is WOOF ! Something just is not right about less service for the same amount of dough

Good morning Margy! And good morning to all other eagle friends as they wake up and sign on!

Shirley, sorry about your fall - hope you are a little less sore today!

Judy, about the computer thing. I asked my older son (computer geek for the US State Dept) about that some time ago and he claims the media is making a much bigger thing about it than it really is. I wouldn't worry too much about your computer having picked up that malware!

Wanda, happy to hear continued good news about GG! I would skip dinner for dessert any day of the week!!!

Lynne2, hope your Friday at work is a happier one than your Thursday!

Another hot one out there today, and tomorrow is supposed to be worse - heat index of 110 here!! Tennis from 8-10 and then hitting the beach for the day!

SHIRLEY: wishing you a better day....

C/A: so sorry to hear about your cousin~ wow. :(

JUDYE: if it weren't for the love and support and great sense of self and family you have helped Jordyn to develop, then she wouldn't be ready for this next step. Your love is helping her and lifting her higher and she will always have that special spot just for you...noone could ever replace you in her heart.....sending you much love this day.....

Looking at the news/weather...seems we may drop out of the hundreds by Sunday! hurray! No real chance of rain in sight, still. :( Pop up Showers is about all. Sad.

Busy day yesterday. Had grandkids after I got home from work...it was the kids' 7th wedding anniversary....son in law had sent me a text asking if I would mind the young ens so they could have a night out. With this house thing, they need a destress night, so of course that was a yes. It was busy. Ice skating was last night. OLIVIA PASSED HER FIRST LEVEL OF ICE SKATING...and even better, SHE WANTS TO CONTINUE!!!! :)

As for the kids house situation.....the bank backed out on the agreement YET AGAIN and they might close by Tuesday......this is so ridiculous! So, they will be here til at least mid week next week.......honest to goodness, I have never seen anything like this!

Well, need to scat, get ready for work. All animals have been fed/watered/put out/brought in....as their needs dictate.....and I've had coffee and computer....on to a rockin' day! :}

hugs, light and have a great day!

It is the story of the fun/funny things that happened while preparing the photographs for Dex's Vet office waiting area. Time ot make those early morning errand runs. 100 again today and mid 90's tomorrow. Then I think the heat wave will break for a while. HAGD everyone.

Thanks Sharon and Wanda for stopping by Glo's Glimpse's. I don't know how to fix the comments Wanda BUT I did see what you wrote in my email. Blogger messes with me now too. It was indeed a fun project. I am glad some folks are sharing it with me.

Good morning!

Been doing some detecting this morning. Stuff's addictive. Lynne and Margy are correct -- finding out much I never knew about but not as exciting as Humphrey Bogart or an earthquake.

Headed for PT for my shoulder in a little while.

Shirley, cannot imagine the unpleasantness of 1/wk trash collection in the summer. Winter wouldn't be so horrible. Sure think the HOA should take action on this to either keep twice weekly or cut the cost by half.

Judy, glad you still get some Jordyn time. Have fun.

Janet, congratulations to Olivia and an extra momster hug.

Ah, Margy brought back the memories of Wanda and the Capt debating about the soup kitchen. What a difference a year or so later.

Need to check out Glo's Glimpses.

Have a good morning.

:-) Thanks Lolly. I did see your comment re Glo's Glimpses. There will be a plaque that says Photography by Kritter Kaptures with contact info BUT only the staff of the Animal hospital photos are on the wall. I do have a small 8 by 10 framed photo on a shelf with some business cards also in the waiting area. Perhaps in the future it could feature Dex and I but of course I have to find the right photographer or i guess I could try to take it myself :-). I will never forget the project I have just completed for this Animal Hospital. It has indeed been an experience of a lifetime.

Hope everyone is staying as cool as possible. Maybe we need a momster prayer for cooler weather.

Not much else going on. Going to stay inside. Darth has an outdoor concert (can't believe it isn't cancelled). So, no cooking(:

Hi,

Went out and got a perm this afternoon. Now I have a head of curly hair. It was getting pretty yucky. Then I picked up some earrings and some earring backs and those little plastic thingies that hold earrings on.

Am watching TV now.

Wow, it is hot out there.

Well, I have a bunch of people all riled up about the trash company's decision. It is interesting. I hope we can make some progress.

They have not cut service to everyone. Wonder if they are just seeing what they can get away with. I think they are still coming twice a week to one section of this neighborhood--the rental houses. They probably have a big company looking out for them.

needless to say I am in birdie heaven :)

Oh, the heat has gotten to Lynne! She is over on facebook claiming it is snowing. Also posting pictures of snow. I am worried about her!!!

stronghunter said...

Have to say good night. The critters are used to getting up early, and with Kathryn at the river, they expect me to take care of them. They think 6:30 AM is a reasonable time for potty and breakfast.

Ms Bookworm said...

Hi, Everyone,

It's been a busy Friday here. Got weekly shopping done. Took some pictures of the baby herons. Will have to load them in the computer and share them. Wanted to clean up the patio with the jet nozzle on the hose, but just didn't get to it. That's at the top of the to-do list for tomorrow.

Judie, glad to hear that the PT is helping! Hope the trend continues. That's a VERY good thing! Glad you are enjoying Ancestry.com. I was hooked immediately!

Gosh, the hot weather back east is really unbelievable! Prayers for sure that it will cool down there, and pronto!

JudyE, sorry to hear that the movie was sold out! WOOF!! Hope you and your friends will get to see it soon.

I'm going to be pretty busy for the next week. Got a double boatload of work from the doctor's office in today's mail. That's a good thing!:o]

Shirley, bet your hair looks great with a new perm! Hope you're feeling much better today, too. Sure hope you can make some headway with the trash pickup situation. We have always had just once a week pickup here, so have had to adapt to that. To control the maggot situation, I freeze any left-over bones until the night before trash pickup. It's a PIA, and makes for less freezer room, but not much else works. Peelings and such go in double ziploc bags. Anything that can, goes down the garbage disposal. 2x a week trash pickup sounds like heaven! I wish you the best with your efforts!

Margy, let me know how you like the new book! I haven't read it yet, but have heard some good reviews. Sorry I've missed you again by getting here kind of late!

Well, we are meeting Sis-in-law for breakfast tomorrow, so better get to bed and get some sleep. Have said prayers for everyone, and for every creature. The porch light is on, and both security systems are enabled. SED, everyone. God bless, and goodnight. Love all of you!

stronghunter said...

Can't sleep, so I am back up now.

Yes, twice-a-week pick-up has been very nice. It has been that way for years, and it does not seem fair to charge the same price for less service.

I have been trying to make adjustments. Coffee grounds can go down the disposal, for example.

When it was just Will and me, there wasn't much problem with trash, but now with Kathryn and Hunter and Will's moving back in and the animals, it is a mess.

Some people have been getting an extra trash can, it seems. You have to use their cans because they have an automated arm that picks up the cans.

stronghunter said...

We are supposed to have a really hot day tomorrow, probably storms on Sunday, and then a cooler period next week.

CarolAnne said...

Good early morning Eagle birders,
Hope weather conditions are favorable for everyone. Local weather person made it sound like the east was going to get hammered again. Hope not!

Our heat should break today. Still must return to in-laws to do their watering until its a bit cooler.

Have been keeping busy with indoor projects as it is too hot to do much outside. Am turning head & foot boards originally part of a crib into a bench. Lots of sanding, etc. before it can actually be constructed. Will have pics someday.

Everyone have the best day you can. Thinking of all our travelers, visitors, vacationers and housesitters.

A few snailmail items heading East, hope they find their way there.

Lori O. said...

Good Morning CAROLANNE!

paula eagleholic said...

On Trash pickup....being single, I don't generate a whole lot....I recycle quite a bit, so sometimes it's 2 weeks before I put a bag out. So nothing that is going to spoil goes in the trashcan until the night before pickup! We used to have 2x a week, but that was cut to 1x a long time ago...

Good Saturday morning to one and all.....another hot day ahead.

JUDIE: thanks for the extra hug, yesterday was a rough day and so I needed that. :)

JUDY: sorry your movie sold out! i don't go tot he movies much, lots of reasons, but I can imagine how frustrating that would be! The few times I've gone in recent years I bought tickets online first.....

Its another hot hot weekend here. Think its been 6 or 7 weeks since we had rain.

Bought my older neighbor (yes the firecracker one!) a bottle of liquid bandage yesterday. She had cut her toe (reminder she is 73) and with skin being so delicate at that age, and the meds she is on she had a hard time stopping the bleeding. A lot of massage therapists use it prior to massage to keep bacteria from clients from infecting any injuries, cuts, nicks on their hands ..... and so I thought it would be perfect for her. She had never heard of it.

And picked a lot of grape tomatoes last night and shared those with her too. :)

The kids update: The title company had the title, right property this time (earlier had been wrong property) but this time WRONG NAME ON THE TITLE. That was corrected by 4 p.m..... now to underwriting, then HUD documentation....and MAYBE close on Tuesday??????? Everyone is getting on everyone's nerves a bit and we had a surge of grumpiness go through the house yesterday......I am going out to get some sage this morning to cleanse the house....

Today I have to run down and sign Olivia up for the next set of ice skating classes and then go to get my sage. I think Chelsea wants to go with me.

I have talked Tom into taking the boat out tomorrow to get us all out of this house for a bit.

I said we can sit inside and be all cramped together in the heat or be out on the water tubing and swimming...let's go.

I booked myself a 2 hour massage with my favorite therapist for Monday evening. At this moment, I can hardly wait.

Hope everyone has a great day. I need to get up and get moving.

Hugs and light to all

Lori O. said...

Good morning everyone. This is supposed to be our last day of excessive heat atleast for a while. My birdbaths were empty this morning which means some of the larger critters came through during the night to find water. Fine with me. I have kept them as cool and full as I can for several days. Too hot for man nor beast. Give your mail carrier some cold water too :-) Just a thought. HAGD everyone

Lori O. said...

Hugs to you and Dex, GLO!

PAULA, are you at the beach this weekend?

Janet said...

Thanks Lori. Not feeling too light spirited at the moment, but a good cleansing with some sage should help.....need to spend some time in Reiki and meditation too.... :) Physician heal thyself.... light and hugs to all

iT'S in the early 60's this morning, but it should get up to at least 75° in So Cal later today.

No cams at all here. Anybody gotten any word from the Training Center or anybody??

I see practically all the Channel Island eaglets have fledged, but most are still coming back to the nest.

Lolly said...

Good morning! Hi Jim! 11:30 and 91 here. Our weather is supposed to change though. Good chance for rain this next week as well as lower temps, highs in the lower 90's.

Have watered pots, did a little dead heading, but in now. We have 5 bird baths and we refill them every other day. Do not want mosquitos breeding! Birds also get water from the ponds and stream.

Still would like to put a cam on the pond to see what comes at night.

Lolly said...

I am knocking on wood as I say this....so far no armadillos this summer. Hee hee hee!

Lori O. said...

Oh, LOLLY! I love ponds and water hardscaping. Do you have pictures?

Lori, lots of pictures on my blog. Also, that pic I posted on fb yesterday...it had the pond in the picture, but all you can see are the rocks around the edges.

Hi all! Wow, is it ever HOT!!! Played tennis this morning and have been in the house ever since recovering! Watching some of Wimbledon on TV.

We're taking the boat out today to go down into ocean City to a restaurant that Madeline and Michael love called Fishtales.

97 degrees outside with a heat index of 106! Would love to see some rain!!

Stay cool everyone!

Hello all....

WHEW! Been so busy, what with all the snow shoveling and salt spreading.

On a more serious note....the Weather Channel has preempted regular programing due to potential for very severe weather in these parts. I find this disturbing. We'll be filling the 5 gallon buckets again. God help us, I just went shopping today for the week...we can't afford to loose any more food.

SANDI....sound like fun, but please PLEASE keep an eye on the weather!

Lolly said...

Oh, Lynne....that does not sound good. However, if your electricity goes out...just put your food out into the snow. Just sayin....☺

We just went to the grossery store. I am home all week, why do I wait until Saturday to go? Duh?

Have dinner planned tonight, going to cook a shrimp dinner. It is really good and have not had it for a while. Another great recipe!

Time to skeedaddle yet again. Hope everyone is having agreat day!

I invite you to the Big House if you like....

like those suggestions that Andrea brought forth for trash...I do some of the same kinds of things though I, like Paula... don't generate a whole lot of trash either...
I save those plasticky bags that cereal comes in, and all kinds of bags for bagging trash before it goes INTO trash....

Hi y'all.

Bet you think we attended the longest funeral ever in the entire world. Well, no. Just came home and got side tracked with the ancestor search and dinner and dozed off.

Hope everyone is staying cool. See curly Shirley has stirred the trash collection pot. Hope the HOA can for a united force for change.

Still 95º here. Not pleasant.

Headed for the pillows before too much longer. Heat is just sapping my energy.

The night light is set for 11:30pm and the sandperson will be making rounds in a temperature controlled buggy filled with sleepy dust.

Restful sleep for all.

Good Evening Friends!

You know everyone is busy with summer when we have 385 comments over a 5 day period!!

I see everyone is dealing with the heat and humidity as well as can be expected!!

I will be happy to see a drop in the temps, even if only a little!!

stronghunter said...

I think I have riled the trash people. It seems I have not paid my bill. I do not think I have gotten one. Anyway, I got a phone message that my account has been frozen.

I will call them on Monday. I may have no trash service from here on out. I will pay the bill and we shall see.

I hope these people are not dangerous.

Lolly said...

Hi Linda! Jack and I went back outside after dinner. Presently 81. WOW! Unheard of in July! We had a delicious dinner and went outside with our wine. If anyone likes shrimp, I have a great recipe to share with you.

Lolly said...

LOL Shirley...they have been listening to you on the blog. You are in BIG trouble now!

Linda said...

GOOD ON YOU, Shirley!!! Way to get something going!!

Hi Lolly!! Would love that shrimp recipe when you get a chance!!

We love a simple Shrimp Scampi Dennis makes.

It is already 72° here! We will probably open the windows. It should go down to about 65° tonight.

Linda said...

Oh, I thought you meant that you riled the people in your HOA about the trash people, SHIRLEY!! I went back and reread what you said.

Oops!! Better pay that bill before you give them a hard time about dropping you back to once a week pick-ups!

stronghunter said...

I think they have read my posts on the newspaper FB page. The woman who called sounded angry. Probably just as well I was getting my hair done then.

stronghunter said...

I have lost track about how to pay this company. We have had three trash services in the past year. One sent cards in the mail, the other I finally found out how to pay online after talking with them on the phone, and this one I think I have not gotten the online thing straight, but I would think they would mail a bill or send an online reminder.

Linda said...

JANET - I sure hope your daughter and SIL can finally close on Tuesday. That must be so upsetting for them to go through this time and time again!! And I am sure the rest of you are feeling it, too!

Happy to hear that OLIVIA is continuing with her ice skating!!

MARGY - Hope you're enjoying the "much needed" company of your niece and her husband. Hope your visit picks up your spirits!! xoxo

stronghunter said...

I am going to call it quits. I have several new magazines and the idea of curling up in my bed with them is appealing.

Linda said...

We have to use Waste Management, and their billing is horrible!!! They charge you a surcharge for paper billing and won't let you pay online with your own online banking. You have to sign up for "their" auto pay, where they draft your account quarterly.

The charge is NEVER the same. They inch up their bill every quarter. It is a monopoly!!

Lolly said...

Linda, will type up and send out the recipe soon. It is really good. It is shrimp on pasta and the pasta is soooooooooo good!

Linda said...

And the surcharge is quite high!

Good Night, Shirley.

We are headed upstairs, too.

Hope JO is enjoying herself at the beach and that HODA is having a wonderful time on her vacation here.

Night All!!!
