Interesting story, Lolly. How far from you is that Big Cat domain? Sounded like the guy picking up the baby is flying solo if he has to wait to get to a certain place to bottle feed the bear.
Lynn, Axis sent me to a place on their site, I guess it was, to redownload the program. Once I did that, it worked. I don't think I can get back on there because they closed the support call. Tell them to send you a link to redownload the axis program, software, etc..
shucks, time flies... enjoyed reading all the chatter that took place while I was sleeping, or trying to that is...
the neighbor who gave me the gardening gloves, just a nice neighbor, nothing goin' on there... but I might have to give him my first tomato...or second one, I think I promised the first one to Wanda and Gene ☺
I bought GG a patio tomato for Mother's Day and she picked the first ripe one yesterday. Chopped it up and ate it and didn't save a sample for me:( She has plenty more coming on. Denise came over from Winchester and did GG's hair. Colored it a pretty light brown. GG smiled all afternoon! Soup Kitchen photos are on Just for Fun...Note the photo of the LATE DINER that I decided to feed instead of telling him the kitchen was closed. What would YOU have done?:)
Good pics, Wanda, of your diners and crew, and of family night Fri. FOrgot to leave comment....sorry! I am heading for the tub. See you fine, fowl friends tomorrow. Hope we see sun! Prayers and Peace. Oh, BTW: Nats won again! G'night!
Good Night to those who have gone. Did a silly thing and watched the 11:00 news. Lolly an hour away would mean at least one trip with permission to bottle feed that little cub!
FB - just got an emailed invite to visit the nest Saturday from Pamela Haines to the members of NCTC Eagle Cam. Perhaps some of you did also if you are a friend of the NCTC Eagle Cam.
I asked her to email me about the group she is having and to let her know that coincidentally Momsters/Dadsters have about 30 possible attendees. I hope this all works out well. We're all Eagle Lovers
Have been to the web site of the International Exotic Animal Sanctuary. It looks like a good place. So, I guess I approve of that little cub going there. Here is there web page. Go to it and read about their bears. It is really interesting.
Hi, Everyone, Getting here very late again. It has been a busy day! Happy to report that all 4 orioles were at the hummer feeder many, many times today! Also, our Cooper's Hawk is back! Spotted her when all of the small birds suddenly disappeared. Was surprised to see some Mourning Doves sitting above her on the phone wires, totally unconcerned. Guess they're too big to be her prey.
Judie, I'm so glad the committee decided in your favor! Hope that's the end of that!
Wanda, thrilled about the soup kitchen report! Am praying that the baby food does the trick for GG once again. Very glad to hear that she ate the tomato. I'm convinced that tomatoes have a LOT of good vitamins in them. Years ago when I was pregnant with daughter Jen, I totallly craved tomatoes!
Lynn, sorry you got soaked in the rain, but thank you for saving the wayward turtle! You should expect a blessing for that! TY, too, for the Tai Shan video! Loved it! Hope your little Cinnamon is OK. BTW, you have confirmed my suspicions about DirecTV--am pretty sure they had satellite problems yesterday.
Hope MM is improving rapidly. Still praying! Would think that her gyn. would say something if they were concerned about her.
Dana, thanks again for the nest reports! Really appreciate them when I can't get the live cam. Am still praying for Ed's aunt.
Shirley, hope you are able to manage the graduation ceremonies. I totally understand about having "touchy" innards, though. Our daughter was diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome several years ago, and I suspect that I may have it, too. Sometimes when I know I won't be near a bathroom, I'll take just one Immodium, and it seems to work well for me. Hope you can work it out.
Hubby got off work early today to go get his pacemaker checked out, and it's working very well. Glad they're checking it on a regular basis. Nice to have it fine-tuned!
Well, have written quite a novel tonight. Will give someone else a chance, and think I'll hit the sack. Leaving the night light on for lateniks, and the porch light, too. The eye scanner security is enabled. Prayers said for everyone. Hope we all sleep well, with pleasant eaglet and bear cub dreams. God bless, and goodnight! Love you guys! :o]
Well have their been any eaglets born at Maine (the pine tree) this year?
Other parent arrives at Loch of Lowes. Checked on the chicks looked up at other parent on branch. Said something and flew off. They have more the cam closer in on the parent on the branch. Chrissy would certainly know which one it is. Not me lol
Looks like a parent Peregerine Falcon sitting on the edge of the pole. At the Rachel Carson Blgd in PA. When the cam switches I see a differebt falcon standing at the end near the edge. Lots of screaming coming from that cam.
Palmer is stretching his wings. Now preening those feathers again.
I was just thinking about the time one of our chicks pulled the fuzzy feather off the other chick. lol
I guess that is Mei or Tian wanting out. Panda standing at door.
Great picture they are showing at Loch of Lowes of the water all around the nest. Showing the one Oprey preening itself with the beautiful water background.
Now Palmer is flapping those wings all around the nest. Holding onto sticks no height yet. Palmer is searching nest for leftovers.
Hmmmm I think I found some leftovers down in between these sticks. Let me check around. Yep got another nice size piece from down in there. Hops over near tree with cam to have my feast.
Hay this seek and find is working out pretty good. Finding some tasty morals. Well it will do until they get my fish or whatever in here. Done and hops over to the 12:30 ish spot. No not good enough back to my limb at 11'ish.
I tell you that chick at Loch Garten blends in well. I am watching parent feeding it and still can hardly tell it is a chick.
Both parents in at Loch of Lowes moving sticks around.
I have been trying to get a picture of Palmer hopping and flopping those wings around like crazy. Still cam just gives me photo standing still even when I refresh. Believe me Palmer has been in action this AM.
Beautiful picture of the water at oh which is it called Finland on the water. There that tells it ( : No one in nest. I don't see any cruise ships sailing around yet.
Good Morning in Eagle Land Sharon. I hear we are going to get to see you Saturday. It has been a long time since I have seen you. Since I wasn't at the 2009 Open House and dinner. It will be great. Is Thelma coming too and Mattie for Saturday?
I keep telling Palmer Saturday is her/his flight day.
Think I agree to having the tiny bear moved to a safe environment where it can grow.
I checked the Snowman cam a few minutes ago. It said I need to update to Adobe Flashplayer 10. I followed directions and there it was, all done. My question is, why am I unable to do the same for NCTC? Seems if the upgrade has worked with two sites (Snowman and PixPa) it should work for NCTC.

Margy, did the split make you stutter?
It is a scary ride!☺
Interesting story, Lolly. How far from you is that Big Cat domain? Sounded like the guy picking up the baby is flying solo if he has to wait to get to a certain place to bottle feed the bear.

I swear I don't see anything at Finland....just lots of sticks and moss and a feather!
Time to say good night.
Some one gave me a little card today with an excellent thought.
STRENGTH FOR THE JOURNEY:
"Don't worry that you're not strong enough before you begin. It is IN the journey that God makes you strong."
Okay, Now something is there--osprey, that is.
Shirley
best wishes on your decisions for the week-end...wish you could be everywhere you want to be and do everything you want to do
oh boy in and out and in again, Lynn...have fun with that one !
Looks like she is hunkering down to stay awhile.
Be careful going to work, Margy---it is very foggy.
Shirley I can understand the conundrum of graduation vs. grading papers.........but I'm like Jo: bet grads will win!!! What day is it??
Goodnight to all who have turned in!
Lynn, Axis sent me to a place on their site, I guess it was, to redownload the program. Once I did that, it worked. I don't think I can get back on there because they closed the support call. Tell them to send you a link to redownload the axis program, software, etc..

What I would give to bottle feed a bear. I would be in Hog heaven...make that bear heaven!!
Okay, guys, it is getting late. Heading to the shower and taking a back pill. Stayed off them all day and I think I am better. Will see tomorrow.
I will probably dream about bears or Hope again tonight. Too much bear info being stuffed into the ol head.
Nite All! Sweet dreams!
Good Night Lolly
Hoping your back is better tomorrow

Good morning.
Palmer is at 11:00-ish in the nest. It looks foggy there.
Have a good day, everyone.
Whoa, with that fog I thought Palmer was a tree trunk and that she had left
not thinking straight or seeing straight either
Not so! She is still at 11 o'clock
Best wishes for a good day...
sleep time here
xo
Good Morning in Eagle Land Shirley and Margy so far.
Palmer is still at attention at 11'ish.
Loch of Lowes chicks are asleep while parent is on branch preening.
Loch of Garten I can't see a chick yet.
Larry's Loon is setting on that egg. Don't know if she laid anymore or not. Will the one she is sitting on hatch. Hope so!
Palmer just fluffed out his/her feathers and is picking the baby feathers out. Itchy Itchy
Well have their been any eaglets born at Maine (the pine tree) this year?

I guess that is Mei or Tian wanting out. Panda standing at door.
Slolth bear cam man going around cleaning up yard.
The person just through a ball into the Sloth Bear area.
LOL I see a clouded leopard stretched out inside on a wooden area. It's feet are hanging over it and it is sleeping.
Mema Jo otters not out yet.
Great picture they are showing at Loch of Lowes of the water all around the nest. Showing the one Oprey preening itself with the beautiful water background.

Beautiful picture of the water at oh which is it called Finland on the water. There that tells it ( : No one in nest. I don't see any cruise ships sailing around yet.
