I'm beginning to wonder if all this effort is worth it - would an adult expend this much energy to get this amount of calories? I'm just not sure if the payoff is worth all this work!
I have had a hard time telling our Lib and Belle apart this season, at times. The camera angle throws me for a loop. Who knows which one has the "1" white feather on it's back (just below the neck)?
I can afford to spend some extra calories, hedgie, but our Palmer needs hers for flight fuel so I'm not sure she can dig for every last morsel like that if it's going to be an exhausting exercise!
I was just wondering if an adult would go to town like that, or if it might give up sooner to conserve the needed energy - leave a few hard to get bits.
Hokiejoe, your comments are not only offensive but of concern. I believe you need to rethink what you are posting and the reason(s) for what you are posting. Your anger and hostility are inappropriate. Even if you are only a troll, the reason for your need to be a troll is, in itself, an issue.
For the blogger family, I suggest that no one respond to Hokiejoe's comments no matter how provoking or offensive. The reaction is what he wants and will only provoke more inappropriate comments from him.
Sheesh, did that screeching Palmer get my attention. Missed the parent breezing by. Yes, I have the live cam for now. Of course, Boris will soon obscure the nest but, hey, I got to see Palmer.
Checked on Phoenix earlier. Looking really good and growing up fast. That's a really nice camera setup.
WE and TH babies are also looking good.
All 5 Kestrels have fledged. Miss them. They were so cute.
Prayers for Isla. I think Odin is really trying with the chicks.
I never got back on yesterday. Went to John's little graduation. Soooo Cute. I didn't get home until 10:30 PM.
From Graduation, it was lunch. Then I had several things to do, then dinner with friends. It was a fun day! I love being out of school for the summer. LOL
Today, I worked all day in our yard. It was hot, but I loved it. Still have more planting to do. Working in my gardens is therapeutic to me. Makes me feel grounded.
I have missed you all.
Tomorrow is Fathers Day. Happy Fathers Day to all Dads. Happy Fathers Lib.
Lake Washington used to have some of the same effects Dana...when the nest was such a mess before the eggs were laid...that infrared can make things look eerie (as Paula mentioned a little while back)
Wow...those splits can slide right on through and leave one wondering where everyone went !
Oh, Margy, glad you enjoyed our little shining star...but, Lord have mercy, I truly hate my voice! It's getting worse all the time...I have gotten so used to speaking loudly, slowly and distincly for GG's benefit, that I sound that way all the time:(
Thanks Hedgie for your dedication in helping others and Paula you get my thanks too.
I have to tell you all this. I was trying so hard to find a way to get that strange picture. I was truly comsumed with it. All of a sudden I looked up from computer and IT WAS ALL DARK IN HERE lol not a light one had I turned on LOL
Wanda...you have a lovely voice...I always enjoy hearing our Momsters and Dadsters voices on any of the videos that people make (I heard the Captain's voice also!) ☺
was surpised not to hear my old gabby self when Paula was making videos of our little nest visit on June 6
Good evening! I am home and took the time to read the blog since I was on yesterday evening. Glad I did. First my heart is breaking for Loch of the Lowes. I probably will not go there. Can not stand to watch that kind of thing.
Sorry about the other problem. Judie you said it very well. Thank you.
Need to know about the snipping tool. Also, where is Lynne going on a trip? Golly, go away for two day and really get behind.
Forgot to tell you. Laurel made another $500 today. So for the total of two days $1400. Proud of her. She had all the boys clothes from day one in tubs, well taken care of and organized. Same with all the baby gear, toys, etc. She sold so much and people were commenting about the nice condition of everything. That's my girl! However, we about died of the heat. Over 100 both days, We had an awning over us and a fan as well. Mornings were okay but around 11 it started to get unbearable. Now she can buy new tires for her mini van.☺
I have a pic of a whole bunch of long-horned beetles (I think) on what might be a multi-flora rose, but not so sure I should put that in my pictures :) they were having a great time though!
Oh Ragdoll, you made a funny! Working in the garden makes you feel grounded. Glad the baby graduation was fun.
Infrared does make things look different as if there is wintry white snow.
No new update on Hope. NBG cam will shut down end of this month.
Ah Wanda, there is nothing wrong with your voice. I remember your voice as quiet and lilting.
I suspect Jim might be sneaking in the door later tonight or early in the morning so ... if appropriate, happy father's day Jim, and happy father's day to all the dadsters out there -- that includes Lib.
Fading fast. Turning my light off but will leave the night light on for others coming in. Hope Andy will set our alarm for us.
Hey, Lolly! Glad Laurel's sale was so successful. Aren't tire prices awful? Christie needs new ones on her car and she is really ticked off over it. Lynne and Steve went camping for a three-day weekend up in western MD. Snipping tool is on Windows 7, under accessories. Just click on it and it tells you what to do!
Hooray for Laurel and her Mom! I had a yard sale at GG's a few years ago and she was so upset that she wouldn't know what to do when the customers started coming, that she couldn't sleep the night before. It didn't take her long to join in with conversations and telling of the wonders of all her belongings and such...She said she really enjoyed that venture and sold $400 worth of her goodies:)
greatest bargain gotten recently at second-hand store little ring that looks like a forget-me-not flower... turns out, it is a diamond surrounded by several aquamarines... 14k setting... very low price..but clearly worth quite a bit more
I had no internet all morning. Didn't check to see if GG's was out too, but guess it was County-wide. Changing over to Frontier, so there will probably be a lot of disturbances before all is said and done:( Probably a price hike, also:(
Have things to do...
GOOD NIGHT MY FRIENDS SWEET DREAMS PRAYERS FOR ALL
where I work, when I have to make tapes....ughhh, sometimes have to hear my voice much more than I would rather! I sound like the LOL (little old lady) that I am ! LOL You have a nice voice Paula, and a great laugh!
Daughter called right after my post. That was almost an hour ago. Just got off phone. All is okay.... She's over tired, job is busy, Went through divorce, she just moved, Had to make 175 whoopee pies. Needed Moms listening ear. They are always our children no matter what age!!!
So sorry to hear about Loch of the Losea. Prayers for Lady Isla and Chrissy.
Margy, your voice does NOT sound old! I love it! It's a very calm and reassuring voice. Wanda, there isn't supposed to be any rate hike from Frontier. G'night to you and to Judie and Paula. Don't think there is many of us who still have our daddy's for the celebration tomorrow, is there? :( Margy, forgot to say that I'm sorry you missed the funeral service.
Oh for heaven sakes Margy listen to this one: I have been having a problem I remember what day it is then I forget. Well today I fix a check for cash. Went to the bank about 1pm. Pulled on the door and it wouldn't open. Looked in couldn't see anyone. So I went back to my car thinking "Lord the bank is being robbed". So I'll pull my car away so the robber thinks I am leaving and call 911 and report bank robbery. Then the thought for some reason came to my mind to see if the drive thur windows showed open. No they showed CLOSED. I thought Lord Dana today is Saturday and the bank closes early. AM I GLAD I DID NOT MAKE THAT 911 CALL---THEY WOULD HAVE THOUGHT A NUTCASE WAS ON THE LINE. lmbo when I told Mom.
Dana, I have a hard time keeping track of which day also..especially when I go to bed three times in one day! well, if the bank was being robbed, that would have been a good call to make!
Oh-oh......severe storm alert just issued......knew I smelled rain!!! Terrific....just when it's getting close to bath time----won't get in a cast-iron tub when there's storms near. If well got hit, I could be in trouble!!
Hedgie, friend of mine gave me her recipe years ago. Daughter, Jean uses this recipe. Her friend ask her to make 175 for her wedding. Jean also (just for a hobby) will make beautiful wedding cakes for special people.
I have the recipe if you would like it. I just need to type it up.
Getting late. Dana, glad you liked the pictures. I didn't put any on for about a month! Finally decided to. I don't know what day it is most of the time. When I wake up I wonder, "where do I go today?" Happy Father's Day to all the Dadsters. For all those hitting the hay, Pleasant Feather Dreams ;>) Prayers for Isla. I know she has record breaking lifetime, but how sad if she has to leave w/little chicks. They thought she might be dehydrated, so I pray for rain tonight.I'm gonna go look at St. Francis out on deck....maybe it's time to put his picture up--will do.
Back from the store and think I hear rain on the cam. Sure wish it would rain here. Can not believe how much rain we had this winter and early spring and then it just stopped. We now need rain desperately.
Forgot to tell you..when I got home there on the coffee table is a beautiful vase of babysbreath and red long stem roses. Just gorgeous!!!!!! And, a sweet love note from my jubby. I cried!
I then laughed cause I slept with a younger goodlooking male last night. ☺ I slept in Joseph's bed, he slept on the playroom floor and Jacob insisted on sleeping with me. Today I am a mass of bruises. That boy is all elbows and knees! I was pushing him over all night. LOL
Laurel, Joey, and Jacob will be here tomorrow. Joseph leaves for MO Ranch, church camp, tomorrow morning. This is a big deal, his first time! Michael and family are in New Orleans this weekend.
So, happy Father's Day to all Dadsters!
Think I am headed to the shower. So, good night to all, sweet dreams.
Saturday certainly was a busy one--got up early, hit the road running, and never really stopped all day! After dinner, watched a movie.
Just checked the nest, and am not sure, but think I see Palmer in the nest at about 9:00.
Have read about Isla--absolutely heartbreaking! This must be a very sudden development. Glad to hear that the Dad is feeding the chicks, but wonder how they will fare if Isla doesn't make it. Many heartfelt prayers being said for Isla, her chicks and her mate, and for dear Chrissy, too! Just feel awful about the whole situation.
Really tired, so think I'll leave the night light and porch light burning, and call it a night. The eye scanner security is enabled. Hope we all sleep well. Prayers said for everyone. God bless and goodnight! Love you guys! :o]
HAPPY FATHERS DAY TO ALL ITH DADSTERS AND TO THOSE MOMSTERS WITH DADSTERS....ladies I hope you've taken care of your Hubby. I know I wished mine was here for this day. In spirit and heart he is. Make it a HAPPY ONE!
Good Sunday Morning in Eagle Land on Father's Day BEagle and Ceil.
Yes Palmer was in the nest when I turned on the computer early this morning. Then decided to fly out.
I believe Lady Isla has passed at Loch of Lowes. Which I have been watching early this morning. Dad did bring in a fish and fed the chicks. Then a family gathering was held while Y7 laid down beside his BELOVED ISLA has the chicks watched on closely.
I hear a crow at our nest. Sometimes I think Palmer is close by.
As Y7 lays beside his Beloved Isla. The team comments: Osprey Team says: June 20, 2010 at 12:12 pm Hi Christine, we will be removing the body once she has died. At the moment she is still breathing and has just been moving around. We won’t leave her there for any length of time after she has gone. Thanks for your concern though. Fiona. I cut and pasted from the Loch of Lowes blog.
So the Grand Lady Isla is still alive at that time.
Good morning all and Happy Father's Day to Dad's everywhere.
I see that Isla has moved again.....Peter posted a response to Christine----don't see a Christine posting on the blog. Wonder if Chrsiiy has a phone number connection that she called in on. Poor Isla and poor Chrissy, as well as all those who are grieving.
One poster on Loch's blog put this: To paraphrase D H Lawrence, if Man were as much Man as Ospreys are Ospreys, he’d be worth looking at. That was pretty good!!! Of course, not ALL men need to be as lovely as an osprey.
Ragdoll Deb....yes, please, would love the whoopi pie recipe. My kids love them!
Speaking of Dadsters, Jim did a TH eaglet fledge? Can't see two.
Lolly, the gorgeous roses -- no doubt Jack's way of trying to lure you away from a younger man. Too cute! Congratulations on Laurel's successful second day. What happened with the school and job?
Whoopie Pies? Don't think I've ever heard of them. Are they for noisy parties?
Well, checked in on the still cam. No Palmer. Also checked on Hope -- she did return last night for food. Checked on Isla -- very sad so will not watch again today but chicks were being fed.
Later today, may plant some grape tomato plants in my whimsical upside-down container. Some have said they had good luck, a couple of others were disappointed. Will see. Maybe I'll just put them in pots on the patio.
Good Father's Day Morning in Eagle Land Paula and Hedgie.
Yes I have been watching the Loch of Lowes cam. The most special thing I commented on our blog back at 8:01AM. I just thought even in God's nature world there is loving and closest as we have seen before.
Hmmmm. I thought Palmer had flown the nest this morning, but she just winged in from the right. I think she was hiding in the lower right corner of the nest.
I didn't scroll back through to yesterday, Paula. Gotcha'----just remember that when she wrote letters last year about Koo, she signed with her full name--Christine--and just wondered.
I sent Chrissy an email that was about 11:30AM her time. She has not responded yet. Maybe she has gone down with Peter and team. I believe she knows them (I think).
I was going to tell you when I first signed on that you could see the BWO chicks very clearly in the morning light. But they're back under their mother's shadow now.
They are growing nicely (all 3) and looked a darker gray with their second coat of fluff.
Did You Know....in the mid-Atlantic region, hummingbird eggs hatch in mid-July. Mama alone feeds the hatchlings and they leave the nest in about 3 weeks time.
Right, BEagle, I was just going to say that Lady and Laird seem to be the names they use officially. Wonder if they called Angus Laird, too! Dana, the snipping tool is a Windows 7 tool, not Explorer.

«Oldest ‹Older 201 – 390 of 390She's posing for the camera now so we can see the pattern!
I wonder if the pattern is truly unique to each bird? Turtle shell patterns are; dog and cat whiskers are; snowflakes are!!
OOPS - SPLIT!
Lynda White is still doing good things for the eagles in Florida
Double Eagle Release
She's really determined to get every last morsel out of that shell...
Lynn, when they were banding the NBG eaglets, they were checking out their tail feather patterns...they said each eaglet had a unique pattern.
tell Mema Jo hello. S P L I T
Palmer is certainly busy with that turtle.
The loon chick must be sleeping.
They do not have to learn to swim...they just swim.
That amazed me when I saw the chick floating along next to the mother.
Unique patterns. Like snowflakes.
It is how God made things.
Moving it in with the rest of the shell collection
Looks like that turtle is history!
Maybe Deb will decide to go fishing!
Starting to see Spidey's handiwork
Returned and have been trying to figure out what is that white thing on the Loch of Lowes cam???
Any one have a guess??
Thanks Paula on the Adult and Juvie release and that Lynda White is still active. I miss her from the Flordia cams we watched.
Did you catch that the wings are longer and so is the tail feathers in the 2 yr. old juvie verses an adult. That sounded like she was pretty normal.
Kickngbird, I thought it sounded like a honk, too. :)
I'm hiding - I'm reading - I'm watching Palmer - I'm keeping tract of
the turtle shells - I'll be here soon
Looks like a very small twig on the Loch cam.
Hi Dana
LOL, kickngbird------do you ever eat crabs???? I always wonder that same thing everytime I do----and then decide, yeah, it's worth it!!
Paula, I had forgotten about that info from NBG!!! Thanks for refreshing my memory!
Now she sounded like a pigeon!!
Honking? I wonder if her sneezing caused that.
How do you take a picture off a live cam???
BEagle my picture has a white thing that has a head like a hose and one arm with 2 fingers and 2 arms wsith no fingers and a very very long tail.
Would love to get a picture but need to know how off a live feed?
I can afford to spend some extra calories, hedgie, but our Palmer needs hers for flight fuel so I'm not sure she can dig for every last morsel like that if it's going to be an exhausting exercise!
I was just wondering if an adult would go to town like that, or if it might give up sooner to conserve the needed energy - leave a few hard to get bits.
Dana, that is a twig hanging down. It looks white from the infrared light, as it is close to the cam lens.
Looks like Bigfoot is sleeping at the Hornby nest (close up cam, Phoenix sticking feetsie near lens)
Dana, you need a special program to do that (as far as I know). Get your camera and set it for a close-up of that, interesting twig. It does work:)
Dana, I will send you email with instructions.
What a great video, Paula! Thanks for finding it. That juvie was gorgeous!
I remember some of the grass on the MN loon cam would glow at night.
Spidey glows too.
Wanda, email coming at you.
Didn't the juvie has a lot of white feathers? I mean more so than a lot of the eaglets we see.
Dana, on your laptop, windows 7 has a "snipping tool" that allows you to take pics of live feeds.
Hokiejoe, your comments are not only offensive but of concern. I believe you need to rethink what you are posting and the reason(s) for what you are posting. Your anger and hostility are inappropriate. Even if you are only a troll, the reason for your need to be a troll is, in itself, an issue.

Starting to cool down out there now...
Better call it an evening. Too tired to type.
Have a good rest all of you.
God hears everything we say to Him.
God bless you and love you.
Oh Judie, I just saw your post.
Good.
Adult rushed by Palmer upon entry!
And chased off with a big squeal! Guess that's what parent gets for arriving without food!
Wow
You should not be so mean to yout Mom.
Yea, that juvie in the video was pretty...and feisty!!
Oh, that was a kiss goodnite!
Well said, Judie!

BBL
Judie, I just emailed those thoughts to a few who were commenting! ☺
We can always adopt a forum-type policy that only allows writing of observations of said animals.
Going to watch a 9:00 Hallmark movie.
Be back later....
I guess I see Palmer at 1:00 position.
All is well
Say, Lynn, what can we prescribe for Palmer to stop those sneezes?
Bless you, Palmer and goodnight. Boris is taking over.
Yep, Jo. Palmer is still somewhat visible at about 1.
LOL, Judie, have no idea for a bird!!! He maybe just needs to get a snootful of river water to clear the sinuses!!
Well, Paula, how cool is that snipping tool?????? Found it----now I just need to try it!!!! Thanks for tip!
Oh, wow, does that ever work nicely!!!!! So much eaasier than the other way!!!!! Gracias....danke....merci'.....you should be a puter teacher, Paula!
I do not appreciate Spidey Boris blocking our view of Palmer. Just another reason to dislike spiders.
Gonna watch tv and be lazy. Bye.
You can also use both ways together-----to catch an action shot hit print screen and use paint and then crop it more easily with the snipping tool.
Yea, the snipping tool is cool!
gorgeous sunset at WE tonight.
Hello My Eagle Friends. Been lurking for awhile.
Well put Judie. I'm with you. Thank You.
I never got back on yesterday. Went to John's little graduation. Soooo Cute. I didn't get home until 10:30 PM.

I am so jealous of the people who got to release them. :)

Finland also has an Osprey in the nest
Oh, Margy, glad you enjoyed our little shining star...but, Lord have mercy, I truly hate my voice!

Hooray for Laurel and her Mom!

Wanda just finished watching video. Commented and no your voice is soft and lovely.
Now going to check out pictures on Loretta's and Margy place.
Just had to come back on and tell you.
The TH nest the twins were taking turns flapping. It was cute but I think they are finished.
THEN I went to the PH nest. Those twins started flapping too. ONE of them went straight up into the air....almost completely out of sight.
The expected fledge date for the PH nest is the 27th. WOW.
Margy, your voice does NOT sound old! I love it! It's a very calm and reassuring voice.
Wanda, there isn't supposed to be any rate hike from Frontier.
G'night to you and to Judie and Paula.

Way to go Mom Ragdoll.. sure YOUR VOICE was one that was just right for your daughter
wanted to add, there isn't a Momster or Dadster voice I am not crazy about! Just look forward to hearing more of them in person over the years to come
Dana, I have not added any new pics lately...think you have already seen the most recent ones...I am falling behind in the posting department
Loretta great pictures-I commented.
Deb, how does your daughter make whoopie pies???
Margy I love the bunny on that one post. Mattie likes pictures of bunnies. Wonder if she seen it?
thx Dana
Mattie probably didn't
I could email it
probably will
that little bunny and/or its relatives runs around here pretty often
Storming here....shutting down. Goodnight all my dear friends. See you tomorrow. Prayers for all and especially for Isla and Y7 and Chrissy tonight.
I hear thunder now too so I will be signing off.
Prayers for those that need them human and God's creatures too.
Well, Good Night my Eagle Friends!!!
Tomorrow is going to be busy....being Fathers Day.. Another fun day.
PRAYERS FOR ALL NEED AND WANTS. ESPECIALLY, CHRISSY AND LADY ISLA.
WHISPER FLOATING EAGLE FEATHER DREAMS. PRAISE FOR ALL THE ANSWERED PRAYERS.
NIGHT - NIGHT. ^..^
Getting late. Dana, glad you liked the pictures. I didn't put any on for about a month! Finally decided to. I don't know what day it is most of the time. When I wake up I wonder, "where do I go today?"
Happy Father's Day to all the Dadsters.
For all those hitting the hay, Pleasant Feather Dreams ;>)
Prayers for Isla.
LOL
It is late late...... I've been back the hallway and now came back to say
Good Night All
Prayers For All
Hugs For All ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
I wonder if Palmer will be nice to her
dad tomorrow on Father's Day? LOL
Just found this article. Laurel and I were talking about this just this weekend.
Bears in East Texas
Laurel, Joey, and Jacob will be here tomorrow. Joseph leaves for MO Ranch, church camp, tomorrow morning. This is a big deal, his first time! Michael and family are in New Orleans this weekend.
So, happy Father's Day to all Dadsters!
Think I am headed to the shower. So, good night to all, sweet dreams.

Hi, Everyone,
Saturday certainly was a busy one--got up early, hit the road running, and never really stopped all day!
Watching Dad feed the chicks at Loch of Lowes. Can't tell if Isla is alive or not.
Palmer is near the launch pad molving around. Flapping wings spread far apart and hopping all ove the place and sceaming.
Palmer just fledged
HAPPY FATHERS DAY TO ALL ITH DADSTERS AND TO THOSE MOMSTERS WITH
DADSTERS....ladies I hope you've taken care of your Hubby. I know I wished mine was here for this day. In spirit and heart he is. Make it a HAPPY ONE!
Good morning.
Happy Fathers Day.
Hi Dana, if you are still there.
I see Palmer flew out about 5:30 so she has been gone about 1-1/2 hours.
I am getting a cup of java.
The only thing I have seen on the cam so far is a slight dark spot that flashed across the far right side of the screen.
It could have been the very tip of a wing. Don't know if there is a branch there for an eaglet to sit on.
Well. Something has shown up on the nest. A bird. Probably the size of Palmers foot.
It has picked up something and flying around the nest a little.
It is now close to Palmers 12 o'clock perch.
Little bird flew off. It had a tuft like a titmouse but it was bigger than that.
HAPPY FATHER'S DAY TO ALL THE DADSTERS
The team comments: Osprey Team says:

Hi Christine, we will be removing the body once she has died. At the moment she is still breathing and has just been moving around. We won’t leave her there for any length of time after she has gone. Thanks for your concern though.
Fiona.
I cut and pasted from the Loch of Lowes blog.
So the Grand Lady Isla is still alive at that time.
I hear our Palmer
Palmer just flew back on.
She is honking.
I seen her come in BEagle along with you. She didn't bring any food of he own in.
I don't think I could bear to go to the Loch nest.
Your description put a sweetness to the situation so thanks for the update.
Palmer just flew off to the left this time.
Palmer is probably getting those hunting and fishing lessons.
Can't wait to see her bring her own food in.
As the sun rises on the loon cam, the mother periodically lifts her head and the chick has made an appearance from under the wing blanket.
The sun is up at TH. Both twins are flappking.
I must say their orange bands put some color into the wings.
Their take off was predicted for today.
One of them goes off to the left and out of sight. How would we ever know it actually fledged?
Boy, they are flying all over that nest.
I know BEagle that would be exciting.
I'm sure you are watching Alaska Loon cam. Thanks for comments. For some reason haven't been able to get that cam. Will give it a shot this morning.
Well, one of the TH may have flown off. May Jim will check in with the forum link about it.
I will try the chat.
Well I be dang it is working for me this morning. Loon on nest looks like head is turned around and tucked in back sleeping.
Well, the TH cam and chat went to Justin.tv. The chatters don't seem very happy at the moment.
The twins don't care though. One is still showing and flapping and getting talons stuck in the sticks.
Dana. The web says that
Just a minute, will get back with the thought.
I just saw the one TH eaglet fly in from over the rock.
At least that's what I think I saw.
Back to the loon.
The web said that the mother usually always sleeps while on the nest.
The father will stay alert when it is he on the nest.
Morning, all!
I see Palmer is out and about!
No activity at our nest yet.
Gosh it really keeps you busy with all the cams and excitement.
To see nature's performances....
Dana, if you look long enough, the loon chick will ruffle mom's feathers and peek out.
Hi Paula.
I was doing a Bible study and waiting for more people to show up this morning.
I need to finish up, get the recipe ingredients and plow into the day with all that needs to be done.
Last night, I checked on the PH nest and one of the chicks flapped and went straight up and almost completely out of site.
It was amazing. I am so tickled I could pop.
Last nights' storm was a good one. Not violent, but plenty of electricity! No wind, so thankfully no mess!!
Talk about a hum on the cam, that loon cam has got a heavy buzz. I have to mute the pop up.
Hi Hedgie. Glad you went through a storm without consequence.
The PH twins were just looking straight up. Must see the adult and thinking about FOOD.
Goof Fathers Day Morning Paula and Hedgie.
Action was in our nest earlier the Palmer flew out.
I have comments above about Y7 and Isla. I couldn't get over how Y7 laid down beside his Lady Isla for awhile.
Lynn, Chrissy did post on their blog yesterday, she did use her name Chrissy.
My electric went out last night too, don't know if it was from a storm or not.
They moved the TH and WE to justin tv cause ustream wasn't available in all parts of the country.
When the TH chicks fledge, they do it from the nest. One year Star went up and never came back down! She had fledged.
so Justin tv is better outreach and the chatters need to make adjustments.
Raindrops falling at loon nest. The loons can stay dry under their canopy.
Good morning, everyone.
Happy Father's Day to all Dadsters everywhere.
Off for coffee and newspaper.

GOOD MORNING,
EVERYONE
IN EAGLE LAND.

cOOL, cloudy morning here in So Cal, but IT WILL get brighter and warmer come the P.M.
[:~D] Jim
Good Father's Day Morning in Eagle Land Paula and Hedgie.
Yes I have been watching the Loch of Lowes cam. The most special thing I commented on our blog back at 8:01AM. I just thought even in God's nature world there is loving and closest as we have seen before.
Palmer just arrived
Palmer back in the nest, squealing and honking!!
Hmmmm. I thought Palmer had flown the nest this morning, but she just winged in from the right. I think she was hiding in the lower right corner of the nest.
[:~D]
Jim
Happy Father's Day to our Dadsters, hubbies, sons and brothers!
Good Morning our Dadster Jim. She did leave the nest this morning. Flew out from launch pad.
SHE WANTS FOOD!!
I saw your comment about LOL, Dana, how sweet.
Palmer is back and is clucking like a chicken!
I didn't scroll back through to yesterday, Paula. Gotcha'----just remember that when she wrote letters last year about Koo, she signed with her full name--Christine--and just wondered.
Imitating the donkey again!!
Have I told anyone I LOVE EXPLORER BECUSE OF THE "SNIPPING TOOL" that thing is AWESOME!!!!
lol Hedgie and Paula
Dana, is that y7 laying with isla again,
Or is that Isla
She has many names, Isla, Marge, can't think of the other one.
Palmer going crazy again!
I sent Chrissy an email that was about 11:30AM her time. She has not
responded yet. Maybe she has gone down with Peter and team. I believe she knows them (I think).
That is Isla, somehow she has managed to raise herself up, but now she just put her head down, now back up
Paula Chrissy would probably say those people that call her any other name than Y7 and Isla are "dath or is it drath". lol
I was going to tell you when I first signed on that you could see the BWO chicks very clearly in the morning light. But they're back under their mother's shadow now.
They are growing nicely (all 3) and looked a darker gray with their second coat of fluff.
[:~D]
Jim
Palmer quiet now and laying at the launch pad, oops, more calls.
They called her "Lady" on the blog.
(Isla)
Did You Know....in the mid-Atlantic region, hummingbird eggs hatch in mid-July. Mama alone feeds the hatchlings and they leave the nest in about 3 weeks time.
Lady Isla just raised her head.
Chrissy just posted on their blog.
GOOD MORNING! NEW THREAD!!!
I am wondering what Isla means.
*********************
HAPPY FATHERS DAY
TO WHOM IT MAY
APPLY.

Jim
Right, BEagle, I was just going to say that Lady and Laird seem to be the names they use officially. Wonder if they called Angus Laird, too!
Dana, the snipping tool is a Windows 7 tool, not Explorer.
Jim, are you watching the US Open? I'm not a golfer, but sure loved seeing Pebble Beach back in '79---guess it is still just as beautiful.
For goodness sake, Palmer.....why all the noise??
EJ or Odin is sure noisy this am, too.
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to Lolly and Jack!!! 45 years today!
