Oh I did send Deb's beautiful picture to Birdgirl. She feels it is a golden eagle. She is wanting to see more of Deb's pic. She loves the one Deb took of the golden eagle. I told her about Deb's webpage.
I also sent a copy to Deb of what Birdgirl (Delphia) sent me. Maybe they can share some things. Always nice to know another Eagle_Momster or Dadster

Feeding stil at CC - can't see the chick(s)
Hi ALL Back from mass and grocery shopping. It is feeding time at CC nest, but I haven't seen any heads pop up yet. Our nest is MT at the moment. Sounds as if you gals had a good long visit later in the morning today. The poor parent in Testoro is hunched down in her nest trying to keep dry; just peering up over edge of nest. Pa. was MT and just a pic of the dropped moose antler at Moosewatch.
Checked in at both BW cams and were MT.
Came home from church and before I did anything else, I cut the fake evergreen rope down from our deck. Next, I'll start on our tree. James has had hsi decorations up long enough. :)
No activity at Santa Cruz and our SD panda ZZ was not featured when I opened it up.
Babies still being fed at CC. Jim's Hummer nest doesn't look like it has anymore activity either.
Boy those chicks are still eating at CC. Can't wait to see how many are there.
Guess I had better start taking my Christmas tree apart. It will feel so barren when all the decorations are down. Then it is on to spring. I skip winter. :) BBL or I'll never get anything done.

It looks like both parents busy at CC feeding babies. It is too bad we can't see into the nest there like we can in our nest.

That has been some long stay. Leave it to me to scare Belle away, I guess Liberty wants to check out the egg cup too. or is that Belle?
Hopefully Belle went to get some more soft stuff for the egg cup. It can't be tooooo soft for those eggs and then babies! I feel this year will be a better year.
Liberty is sure being very patient today or is he keeping a watch out and protecting the nest? Whatever, hopefully Belle will return.
And Lib just flew off in the same direction as Belle. There for an hour!

Mama is done feeding at CC and now on a branch and it looks like the weather is showing blue sky in Testoro, so now that parent can move around a littlIt looks like she might be turning eggs now.

DEB They are really up close. I just love watching them; they look so gentle. It would be nice if their cam wouldn't go back and forth tho.
I don't know why it does that. If you reload the page,it will stop doing that for awhile. I went to see the eagles at the dam in Yankton today. I got to watch 2 immature eagles eating a huge fish. First one, then the other. I was sure an adult was going to get in the mix, but they just sat in the trees and watched. It was fun.

The right leg looks as if it has been broken an healed crooked.
It looks like he has a swollen back leg too on the same side.
I think both legs on that side are a little deformed. I wonder if it survived an encounter with man/car?
I thought the same thing about the right rear leg.

Well at least it is nice to see that he is able to get around to eat, etc.
It seems to get along pretty good. I think I saw it the first time with Helen in November/early December.

Good morning, world. Another Monday, and this time a 5-day work week. Almost Spring out there this morning! 48° at my house, 50° here in VA. Can you believe it? Wonderful. Will try to go see what I missed. Hope everyone has a wonderful eagle/panda day. Eyes to the sky, see the raptors fly!
Our Precious is asleep in the hallway, and Bai just came out, totally ignored her, and grabbed some bamboo to eat.
BW has updated both cams, they've also changed the updating time on both of them. Cool pic on the Osprey cam, male is bringing food to the female. They're in their bonding behavior.
Squigs just woke up and grabbed a very long stick of bamboo. She's chewing on it too.
Tai is asleep on cam, and looks like he has something in his paws, but no clue what it may be. He's so cute!
Looks like all the animals are taking a nap in Africa, they're all laying down in the shade.
Bai just walked over to take the piece of bamboo away from Squiggles! Mean mommie Bai! Guess she wants Precious to get another piece, Bai is now chewing on the piece baby had! Oh there she goes again. Squigs showed interest in another piece, and mom promptly moved over to take that piece. Now mom has moved over next to Precious, and she's sitting between the bamboo and the baby. Squigs looks like she may just want to go back to sleep.
Our little Zhen Zhen has strolled off cam, and Bai went back into her den.
See where Scarface has dropped his first antler, interesting update on the moose cam with pics!
Now the baby is back, laying in a bunch of bamboo, and mom is on top of the shelf or whatever. Well, she walked across it to get to Squiggles. Now she's just gonna hang out, laying on the table/shelf with her top half, and I guess sitting.
OMG, Precious is flipping bamboo like Bai does! How cool is that! She is adorable!!! Little piece, but she's flipping it and sorta sweeping the floor with it. Using all 4 legs to do it, too.
