Have you been keeping up with "Hope" the little black bear?

She seems to be doing well, they are still supplementing her foraging, and the finally got a radio collar on her.

Very foggy at PH this A.M. but you can see the remaining eaglet pretty well.

Not enough power (fog?) to transmit the other two Island cams right now.

Good afternoon all! Thanks for all those updates Jim. Our weather is more than delightful as we compare it to the heat we've been having.

I would think that Palmer is high up in the thermals today!

Lunch time and a few errands to run..

Good morning! Still morning here. It was so pleasant this morning, thought not like what you are having. Anyway, read the paper on the patio and then went straight to yard work. Only one mug of coffee and no computer time. A change of routine.

Just talked with Larry. He has his generater ready for the refrig. Has trimmed limbs from over the house and has helped Blaine trim a limb. Brian down in Harligen has sand bagged his house and put plywood over the windows.
They seem to be ready. South Padre is already getting wind and they are all getting rain.

Mema Jo said...

Just heard
The National Weather Service has issued a Sunshine ALERT! Evacuate your workplaces and go outside immediately!

Don't you just love it!

Ms Bookworm said...

Hi, Gang,
Only have a couple of minutes to talk. Hubby stayed home from work today so he could go to the doctor. He's gone to urgent care (Our doctor is off on Wednesdays.).
I've been giving him X/S Mucinex DM, but boy, last night he was just coughing really hard. Think he needs an inhaler, and maybe a nebulizer treatment. Hope he gets them!

Here's a picture of one of the Black-crowned Night Heron fledglings. They are everywhere!
They are about the size of a chicken, but with longer legs, neck, and beak. Thank God all of them can fly well this year! The more I think about it, the more I suspect that the gimpy ones last year had been wounded by our trigger-happy neighbor. Glad he's not around right now!

Saying prayers for Robyn's nephew for a speedy recovery. Prayers, too, for Megan's daughter. Been there, done that--not fun! :o[
Prayers for safety for A-M in her travels about Mexico.
Dana, prayers for Ed's aunt, too--wonderful news!

Mema Jo said...

Lolly I hope you can stay in touch with them as Alex does his thing!
Sounds like they are really prepared.
Prayers for all!

Mema Jo said...

Of course that Sunshine alert was for us here on the East coast.
Praying we hear from Anne Marie on FB
soon

Ms Bookworm said...

Really nice day so far out here in SoCal. Cooled down to 60 last night, and pretty overcast early this morning, so should be a bit cooler today.

Here's a closer version of the baby heron. :o]

Gotta go get a shower before Hubby gets home from the doctor. He wants to go to Kimmie's for some hot soup for lunch! Will BBL...

Ms Bookworm said...

Oh--almost forgot. Congratulations to Dinky the frog upon becoming an adult! Hope you enjoy your new home! TTFN...

paula eagleholic said...

Andy - Love the Heron... he's much prettier than a chicken :)

At times the shadows on our nest can fool you into thinking you see Palmer.

I am headed to the Post Office now. I had forgotten they close 1-2:00.

I'm back with you all after an uneventful outing. Haven't read posts yet, but got this in email from FONZ:
Thalia, the black-footed ferret featured on one of our web cams, gave birth to three kits at the Zoo's Front Royal, Virginia, facility, on June 22. She's a first-time mother. The Zoo has been working to bring the species back from the brink of extinction for more than 20 years. Watch the ferret cam and read more :
Ferrets
Cam link on left side of page.

hedgie said...

Oops---actually cam is below text!!

BEagle said...

Hello everybody.

And nature has a way of giving you a picture of what you want to see. In the shadows I suppose.

Little dinky is cute.

Got a lot of pruning done. It is so nice outside.

Thanks for the Phoenix video Jo. Enjoyed it and had a good laugh.

BEagle said...

Ferrets are such cute little critters.
Don't people make pets of them?

BEagle said...

Wonder if Palmer will be back again.
Sure is a lonel

Adult on nest with something...two adults on nest......no Palmer?

BEagle said...

Oh yeah, Palmer is there.
Mantling.

BEagle said...

The adults flew off abruptly when Palmer got there. Do you blame them?

BEagle said...

Can't figure out what she's starting to dig into though. Looks pretty stiff.

Lolly said...

Oh, the ferrets are so cute. Just a pile of fluff! Thanks, Lynn.

Only 82 here right now and raining again. It is just wonderful!

BEagle said...

Well, at least I know that Palmer didn't bring it in. Not this one. Whatever it is...it's pretty big.

hedgie said...

Andy, you're probably gone but want to say I love your heron babies. And don't know what part of TX your kids are in, but hope far away from threatened areas!

kickngbird said...

Fish delivery - Palmer bites wing of parent

BEagle said...

Adult just brought a big fish in. A lot of Palmer racket and then silence when adult flew off.

kickngbird said...

Parent lingers only a bit then takes off - Palmers screeching lessened but continues between bites

kickngbird said...

That's a big fish

hedgie said...

Congratulate me, please.....RECLAST must be working. Turned my ankle really bad when heading out today. A little tender and a wee bit of swelling, but NO FRACTURE. Two years ago it would have been!

kickngbird said...

I don't think she was finished eating whatever else she was working on before the fresh fish delivery

kickngbird said...

hedgie I broke my ankle and have 8 screws and a plate in it so I offer hearty congrats to you for NOT going where I have been in ankleland!

hedgie said...

Saw my (and Bill's)best friend Frank and wife while I was at the carpet store with Bill. They are buying a house at the B----!! Outer Banks,NC---Frisco to be exact! And it's mine to use for free. Sure hope everything goes through for them quickly! Of course, I have selfish motives!

kickngbird said...

Noticing Palmer's pretty pantaloons at this angle

kickngbird said...

Heard some feathers shake - think a parent is in the tree - Palmer made some "stay away" noises

BEagle said...

Yes, nice feather bloomers.

kickngbird said...

She is continuing to chow down, but mostly quiet now

BEagle said...

So sorry about the ankles. Arthritis keeps mine from moving well. Don't envy your ankle woes.

kickngbird said...

I think somebody's full

BEagle said...

Ho Ho. Palmer is so full, I thought she was going to lay down and roll to her favorite spot. : D

Hoping that Paula is doing better.

kickngbird said...

Some of the strangest noises come out of her!

kickngbird said...

This seems to be parent-directed

kickngbird said...

Here comes parent - maybe wants to finish off the fish

BEagle said...

Adult back and all the more reason to scream, scream, and scream.

kickngbird said...

PalmerLarm going off

BEagle said...

That is Belle. She handles the Palmer attitude quite well by feeding the youngster.

She must remember her youth.

hedgie said...

Good grief....Palmer squeals and cries and Mom feeds her---big baby! She has parents wrapped around her talon, doesn't she? What a racket that was/is---literally and figuratively.

kickngbird said...

Give the kid a morsel or two to shut her up, then keep eating - Belle is no dummy

BEagle said...

Don't know where she will put all that food, unless she has two crops!

kickngbird said...

Palmer nips Belle's wing, Belle gives her another morsel, Belle just isn't going to be moved off the food by all this

BEagle said...

I was looking to see if it's Belle that has the stray white feather between her shoulders. Don't see one but then it may not always show.

Or it could be Lib that has.

"Leave my fishy alone!!!!"

BEagle said...

Belle is still a wee bit bigger than Palmer. She is used to getting her way.

Lib is used to being shoved around by the females. Know how to fly off quickly.

kickngbird said...

Whiny noises now - Belle tears and bites quickly - Palmer doesn't tear as quickly as Belle can yet

BEagle said...

Tug of war.

Judie said...

Lynne, red-letter day. Dinky is all grown up and in a new home. Congratulations.

Good wishes for Robyn's nephew. Sure he'll be just as good as new -- maybe better.

Dana, good news about the laptop box and will send a prayer for Aunt Anne Marie.

Would be a happy camper with a people-loving pooch. Hope you both had a nice time.

Palmer is in the nest eating. Darth heard the screeching and could not believe all the noise that bird makes. I think this was his first experience with a Palmer tantrum.

Thanks for the evacuation alert, Jo. I did just that and had a nice few hours getting cutieful.

Palmer with an adult -- being fed and still in the midst of a hissy fit. I just don't remember Hidey being so demanding.

Palmer was working on a small fish before big fish delivery.

Lynn, hope the bombing worked for you. Also so happy the ankle wasn't seriously injured.

Okay, off to watch Palmer while I have a rare moment of live cam.

BBL

BEagle said...

Palmer is trying to bite Belle. Belle just ignores her. Belle just might bite back.

hedgie said...

Real baby sounds now---mewling.

hedgie said...

She's a good, patient momma, isn't she? Maybe Palmer learned all of her lessons at Eagle School today and is being pampered as a reward.

hedgie said...

Today is the latest sunset day....days will start getting shorter now.

kickngbird said...

How to describe it? Chirpy - screechy - squawky - with an occasional mini-honk?

BEagle said...

Stuffed and still gobbling.

kickngbird said...

Here, kid, this should keep you quiet - for a nanosecond

BEagle said...

Pampered is the truth.

Judie enjoy your viewing.

hedgie said...

Kickngbird and BEagle---back in '92 I fell on my foot...three fractures in all--2 in ankle and one in foot. Rough go of it. Right after I had moved into my house and right before div. finalized....only took 2 wks. off work. Don't want any repeats of that----crutches have to be the worst invention there ever was!

kickngbird said...

There's that piece I threw in my hissy-fit; hmmm, tasty!

BEagle said...

Belle just shoved Palmer over a little.
Ha Ha.

kickngbird said...

hedgie - it was hard to have a broken ankle with a husband to help; going around on one foot by yourself is really rough

hedgie said...

Judy, Cinnamon was in her element. Not only seeing some of her favorite people (Bill and Frank), but every time someone walked past the store she barked as if she owned the place!! What a hoot!

kickngbird said...

Little nip at Mom - no reaction!

hedgie said...

She's a plumb-tuckered out pooch now.

kickngbird said...

It's a good thing to raise a "bitchy" eaglet. You want a raptor offspring to be fierce! Mom just knows that act won't work on her.

I saw a t-shirt once that said:

I am not a bitch.
I am THE bitch.
MS. Bitch to you.

Judie said...

Just before heading to the kitchen for inspiration, was watching the news. Sure am wishing all the hurricane mess passes by quickly with little damage done. Just so concerned about the continued issues with the oil and how the high winds are going to impact the people, the shore, and the animals.

Later

hedgie said...

Kickngbird....I had a 17 y.o. who acted as if I had done it on purpose just to cause her grief! I slipped on a wet rock in the rain at MN outside the basement doorwhen coming home from work . SHe was in the kitchen doing homework---duh! what was she waiting for??---with radio turned way up and didn't hear me hollering. Had to walk on it all the way around the house and up steps of deck. She then said she couldn't take me to the ER because she had to go to bed! She thought I was exaggerating when I said I had broken my ankle. My now darling Christie was not a pleasant teen at that time--because of the div., I guess. Had to call my sis and she and BIL came and took me. He had also just gotten off work at the plant, too. Horrible night!

BEagle said...

I think those little sounds from Palmer are purring.

paula eagleholic said...

Do my Eyes deceive me...Parent in nest eating, Palmer watching...pretty quietly. Palmer must be stuffed.

Uh oh, some chirps of protest!

kickngbird said...

hedgie - I think there may be biological reasons that teenagers (like eaglets) become surly. Otherwise parents might be inclined to cling and let them stay forever and never leave the nest. Not good for either generation!

paula eagleholic said...

Parent gone...reading back, seems like it was quite the scene this afternoon!

kickngbird said...

Belle decided to take that last piece and eat it in peace by eating it elsewhere

kickngbird said...

Yes, Paula, Belle waited until Palmer stepped away from the food (leftovers from what may have been a fish, and leftovers from what appears to have been a whale). Palmer was clearly full. So when Belle hit the nest, Palmer wasn't hungry, she just went into PalmerLarm mode.

BEagle said...

Palmer looks like she might take off.
But I don't know if her wings, massive as they there, would be able to carry her far.

Maybe a night in the nest.

paula eagleholic said...

I think she's dozing off some...tummy full..crop full...nice breeze, nice temp...

paula eagleholic said...

Life is good :)

Lynne2 said...

BEagle said...

Lynne2...you lucky dog you!

BEagle said...

My tomato plant is doing well now with a cage about it.

Some blooms and little 'maters coming out.

BEagle said...

Palmer does look like she is dozing. She is swaying in the breeze.

BEagle said...

She also looks like she is more than full.

Lolly said...

I got to witness the most recent Palmer performance. Impressive.

Thanks, Lolly...I remember now--- the story about the grandsons that ended up not being friends!!!!!

kickngbird said...

Palmer under the cam - white feathers look like they swirl down from this vantage point

kickngbird said...

Palmer stepped away from under the cam, over to her 1 o'clock spot

kickngbird said...

Little hop to 2

kickngbird said...

No let's go back to 1

kickngbird said...

Hop to launch pad

kickngbird said...

Walk back to 1, then back to launch pad, then to 3 o'clock - a little restless

Costume Lady said...

Good evening...
Shirley, was the shingles shot very expensive?

Lynn, how often do you take your Reclast? So glad you didn't have
a break!

GG has Osteoporosis and went to the hospital once a month for several years to get infusions, then another 2 years in the doctor's office for more infusions.
Now, that being said, when she fell a while back, getting out of the tub, she really tore a gash in her leg, but...no broken bones. I would say those treatments must have strengthened her bones!
At the time, she didn't know what she injured her leg on. She said she sorta blacked out and doesn't know what happened....Well, a few days ago, she told me that she suddenly recalled that she ripped her leg on the corner of the baseboard heater in her bathroom.
I would say she will be pretty much healed in about 2 or three weeks. I just picked up her second round of $115 bandages. I changed her bandage today and there was some bleeding due to a scab falling off. I'm guessing ANOTHER scab will form and we will have to wait for that one to come off, when it is ready...not before!

Costume Lady said...

K-Bird...looks like you are talking to yourself:) Must be supper time for a lot of us.
What on earth will we do when Palmer leaves home for good? I guess we will hope that Atlanta has another Panda cub:)

wvgal_dana said...

OK need help in understanding:
(1) What is wrong with Megan's daughter?
(2) Who broke their leg?
(3) Why is GG got a cut on her leg?

paula eagleholic said...

Whoo Hoo Palmer is still in the nest!

I thought today was Wednesday!

paula eagleholic said...

Dana - Megan's daughter had wisdom teeth pulled. Don't know about the rest...except GG had cut on leg a couple of weeks ago.

paula eagleholic said...

Dana, think you are getting ankles and legs mixed up. Talk about prior broken ankles.

paula eagleholic said...

And Hooray, I can finally chew today...swelling going down.

Chirp chirp says Palmer

paula eagleholic said...

Actually whistle chirtle sound

hedgie said...

Wanda, next month will be my 3rd year dose of Reclast.

kickngbird said...

I just types what I sees... :)

I know I enjoy reading what went on with Palmer when I haven't been around to see it myself! Especially now when I know there may be few reports left to read...

A few little whiny squeaks now off the 3 o'clock side, then she hops over by the cam...

paula eagleholic said...

Oh Lynne, it's fun holding raptors isn't it!

kickngbird said...

Down for the night? In the 1 to 2 o'clock prone position?

wvgal_dana said...

Seen a gray heron today. Was driving Mom around. Back over in Back Creek Valley.

Costume Lady said...

Dana, GG fell getting out of the tub and tore a pretty nasty gash in her leg (on her shin). We have been using those DuoDerm bandages that absorbs fluids out of the wound and keeps it moist and promotes faster healing. It has been 2 months now.
Lynn twisted her ankle and is giving thanks that it didn't break (she was treated with RECLAST to make her bones stronger...I think she has or had Osteoporosis).

paula eagleholic said...

AH, finally laying down at noon to 1 spot

paula eagleholic said...

Thanks for the commentary, KB :)

Costume Lady said...

Paula, holding a TURTLE is safer...maybe:)

wvgal_dana said...

Yep Palmer in nest with spidey web starting to show.

Costume Lady said...

Dana, it's good to hear that you and your Mom are getting out and about. Good for the both of you:)

kickngbird said...

hedgie fell and broke bones in foot and ankle some years ago; commented that twisting her ankle as she did today might have resulted in a break but believes that due to Reclast it didn't. I commented that I'm glad she didn't break hers because I did break my ankle - really badly - and have several screws and a plate in it. That's all the news I know about broken bones today.

Palmer looks like she's in for the night. Yay!

stronghunter said...

Wanda, when I got the shot, the woman said that insurance would cover it, that I did not need to stop at the desk, so I did not. I am wondering if that was correct information, but I did not question it. I will check the paperwork from the insurance company when it comes, then
I will let you know.

I have heard that the shots are very expensive.

When I think about it, I got the shot right before their lunch time, and people were bringing in food from a caterer. Maybe they were in a hurry to eat!

paula eagleholic said...

Don't know if ya'll remember the story I posted some time ago about the eagle that had laser treatment for injuries. It worked :)

Young fledgling released

stronghunter said...

Nice story, Paula.

paula eagleholic said...

Palmer up and facing 1 now

paula eagleholic said...

She is still there, and easier to see than previous nights...those winds must have whipped away some of spidey's nest.

hedgie said...

Paula, glad your mouth feels better!

paula eagleholic said...

Thanks, Lynn...and more energy than yesterday...I was just wiped out yesterday...maybe can get a few things done around here tonight.

got that ankle up?

Costume Lady said...

Amazing what is being done to help our wildlife. What a happy ending for that Juvie:)

hedgie said...

Great story, Paula!
No, foot isn't up---not enough swelling to worry about!

Lynne2 said...

Wanda, holding raptor easy, holding turtle....whew! They are FEISTY!!! and very much stronger than they look!

Sorry to hear that GG has another gash in her leg :(

Posted some pictures from today at Irvine. What an incredible experience! I only got to hold, but then got a lesson in catching too, with the Barred Owl. What a beautiful bird he is! I was SO nervous!

Off to shower, up very early for babysitting detail tomorrow....

paula eagleholic said...

Oh Lynn, that's good.

Lynne - Wanda was talking about the old gash on GG, not a new one.

stronghunter said...

Good night, all.

Ready to go upstairs and read. I will see you tomorrow.

God bless.

Mema Jo said...

I am sorry to have missed all the shows in the nest today with Palmer.
I just looked at the calendar and I have a dental appointment tomorrow at 11:00... Just a cleaning so all will be well.
We took Alexis home at 8:00 this evening then I just chilled this evening for a while and now I'm going to wash my hair like Loretta does in the evening. Wonder if Margy was pleased with her new hair do?

Favor that ankle Lynn - swollen lots or not! With all of you talking about breaks I can only give this advice: "If you want to be up/running in no time flat after the break - see a Sports Surgeon! I didn't have crutches - just a walker for about 2 weeks and some rehab. Of course there was a rod through the bone from the knee to the ankle and held in place with 'green' screws!

I just kept laughing The Minster saying , "That had better be from God". lmbo

Been looking at the multi-list info on the beach house.....needs work, but not too bad! Decent price---apparently a short sale from foreclosure purchase.

Lolly said...

Well, Lynn, I am happy that your ankle is going to survive! Had bone scan recently and now I am taking a once a week pill. They said I have osteoporosis in one hip. Interesting that you can have it in one place.????

Paula, so glad you are feeling better today. Tooth/gum infections are NOT fun.

Just put two loaves of banana nut bread in the oven. Laurel and the boys will get here in the morning close to noon. Taking the boys to see Toy Story 3 D. They are spending the night and Laurel and I are going back to the movies to see Eclipse. Jack also is going to get to boy sis Friday morning so we can go shopping. Big two days. Then Saturday we are going to Denton for the Denton fireworks.

BEagle said...

Bible study was very, very good.

Thanks for the update on the injured eagle, Paula, and glad to hear you are feeling better.

Did you stop reminding us of Palmer's age every Sunday?

I am glad to see Palmer resting on the nest after eating most of the two big fishes.

She will probably take off early in the morning ... for the early risers.

Lolly said...

"boy sit"!!! ☺

BEagle said...

My son went to see Toy Story 3. Excellent reports.

hedgie said...

Judie, it was Megan's daughter who had the wisdom teeth pulled (or cut probably!). Paula only has sons---and a DIL!

hedgie said...

Lolly, I was on the oral stuff for 4 yrs.---and it hadn't done ANY good! Don't know how you can have it in just one hip----very strange, indeed. I think the DECA scan only scans one hip a nd they make the diagnosis from that....hope you are also on Calcium and Vit. D.....very important!

paula eagleholic said...

Beagle, Yes I did stop the Palmer age reminders...let me see, she will be 15 weeks this coming Sunday...fledged for 3 weeks on Monday.

I've heard good reviews on the movies, Lolly, hope you and Laurel and the boys enjoy.

Can't wait to have my zucchini tomorrow, and better yet, zucchini bread! If that plant keeps producing well (no squash bugs this year, yay!), Michael just might find a loaf in his mailbox, LOL.

Lolly said...

Yes, I have heard good reviews on the movie, too. One young mother, friend of Laurel's and the family, said she cried. LOL

Laurel and I have fun together so it will be a good few days.

Oh, yes, Lynn. Have been taking calcium and Vit D for years. I am really surprised about the diagnosis. The will do the bone density test again in a year.

Lolly said...

I have taken many a tumble and never broken anything. Knock on wood! Remember last year, took a tumble coming out of a restaurant. Jack took me to the hospital. Both wrists were spained but no broken bones. Man they hurt!!!

Well folks, gonna pack it in for tonight. Have a good evening!

Hugs to all ♥

Nite Paula!!

hedgie said...

Lolly, you have been lucky. As has Sissy. Between the two of you, you've both fallen quite a few times in the last two years!!

Heading for tub after I hear the news headlines. Dr. apptmt. tomorrow---going back to my GP after 5 yrs. Oncologist "released" me back to him since he retired this month. Luckily, he takes my new insurance! Gotta get him on point with all of my upcoming stuff that will need to be done!

Sleep well. Prayers for all, especially for Karen. Hope she gets that lap top so she can stay in touch if/when she has to stop working.

Goodnight!

BEagle said...

The thing to do about the bones is a pounding exercise, walking, walking and more walking. (Of course, I try to pound while walking He he he snort.)

That's how the calcium gets properly situated in the bones I hear. I walk all the time. Like, I walk to the fridge and get a big bowl of ice cream!

I think it's time to hit the hay. I'm getting goofy. Is that a pounding exercise? Hitting the hay?

Thanks Paula. Palmer is getting old.

Hi, Everybody!

Hubby seems to be doing better tonight. Doctor gave him some cough syrup w/Codeine to take at bedtime, and it's working! He has an upper respiratory tract infection, and the Dr. suspects it's complicated by allergies. Wants him to get tested to see what's causing the reaction.

We went and got broccoli cheese soup for lunch--delicious!

Lynn and Paula, glad you like the heron picture. They are so funny!
All of them sit in a "hunched up" position, and look like little old men! They have been on the back lawn eating earthworms after the early morning sprinklers are done.
Paula, glad your tooth feels better.
Lynn, thanks for the ferret link!
Our oldest GD has a pet ferret (named Lucifer, of all things!) Cute little rascal, who loves to hide Jay's shoes. Thus the name...
Sorry to hear about your ankle, but glad it isn't broken! Hope it feels better soon. Prayers!...To answer your question, our kids are in the Dallas area, in Aubrey. Far away from Alex, thank God! Have a nephew who lives in nearby Denton with his family. Lolly, aren't your kids in Denton?

Lynne, what a wonderful day you had! If I had a chance to hold a raptor, I would be in heaven! So glad you are able to be there!

Shirley, glad you were able to get the Shingles vaccine. It IS expensive, but when I got one several years ago, our insurance covered it. Had shingles about 5 years ago, after the vaccine, and asked the Dr. how that could be. Had been exposed to chicken pox at GD's daycare, and had never had them as a child, so got the vaccine asap. Dr. said the vaccine kept me from breaking out in pox, but I did have a light case. Later, with mega stress at work, I broke out in shingles. Imagine my surprise! Hope I NEVER get them again--they are NO fun!

PRAYERS FOR ALL

Well, didn't sleep very well last night since Hubby was so restless, so think I will call it a day. Leaving the night light on. The porch light is automatic, and the eye scanner security is enabled.
Prayers have been said for all, especially those in need of healing. Sleep well, everyone, and I'll talk to you tomorrow.
(Wow, can't believe it's almost July already!) God bless, and goodnight! Love all you guys! :o]

Our son lives in Dallas. His new home is in Preston Hollow. Our daughter lives in Denton. She teaches in Denton ISD but is actually in Corinth.

Well, I walk all the time Jack and I have been very good at walking. I am very active, always working in the yard. The bone thing was a real surprise to me.

Lolly said...

I am headed to the shower. We are going to mow early in the morn if it is not raining. Grass is so high, going to have to raise the blade on the mower.

Nite all! Sweet dreams!

Prayers for Karen!!!!!!

Good Morning...Happy birthday Margy and Nilla, it looks like a beautiful day for both of you to celebrate your day.

Lolly said...

Beverly, love the pictures of you two posted on FB.

Lolly said...

See that Palmer has already flown the coop. I am headed out shortly to mow. Not raining so want to hurry before it starts up once again.

Lolly said...

Margy, so glad you had a young one to tuck in last night. Neat! I will have two tonight to tuck in. Wahoo! Two uninhibited little boys who after a shower walk around naked as the day they were born and think nothing of it. So cute! They love to beat grandmommy at games, love to have burping contests, play in the yard with uncle Michael's ancient toy guns, and argue at the table over whos turn it is to say the blessing.

Lolly said...

Have a great day everyone. I plan on it! ☺

Parent with a big ole fish!! Palmer should be flopping in soon, squalling!!

Good Th. morning! Lovely cool one here....not to last, of course, but at least humidity is staying down for another day.
Hope the birthday gals are getting a nice start to their days.

Raining at the Loch----they need it badly, Emma says. Chicks laying low.

Cinnamon is just behaving like a doggy, Lynn. Don't be too mad!:)

Heading outdoors to do some yard work.

It is too beautiful to stay in.

Good morning, everyone, again!

I see the blog cop ate my earlier posting. So, just will say I hope everyone will have a good day, good doctor appointments, easy exam tonight, healing mouth, healing tooth extractions, healing ankle, healing cough.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARGY AND NILLA. Wishing you both a wonderful day in every way.

Shirley said the B word!

Nice picture, Sissy.

Bad girl, Cinnamon! Please eat stink bugs, instead.

Okay, off to take care of laundry.

hedgie said...

LOL, Judie! Please...no stink bugs! Doggy breath is bad enough.
Luckily, we are being spared right now----they are dormant.....we probably won't have them back until weather starts to cool enough that the new hatches seek indoor warmth.

hedgie said...

H-e-r-e'-s Palmer!!! Heard her coming!!

Eagle-Eyed's Sissy said...

Heard her coming way before she got there! She is hilarious!!!!
