I have heard some clunk clunk at the nest. Someone is above.

Darth thank you for letting us know about your beautiful wife. Prayers that Judie is made comfortable as possible. That the surgeons line bones up correctly and that Judie heals with Gods Loving Care. I feel so badly for her. I too wonder did her leg give out?

See Margy finally found a way in. Glad you are back girlie. Don't like it when we don't see your comments.

So eagles already have been at the nest. Read that earlier.

Lynne2 hope you feel better when you wake back up.

Hi grannyblt-Lynne1 good to always see you visit us.

Wanda is deep into turkeys and dressing.

Shirley was up early or rather late...letting doggies out.

Prayers for Darth during Judie's time in the hospital.

Thinking of little Kali. Hoping the doctors give Mom & Dad some answers today.

Prayers for Bill, hoping he has told the family-prayers for the family and for our Lynn-Hedgie.

Eagles in the nest!

wvgal_dana said...

Morning Sharon aren't they just beautiful?

wvgal_dana said...

Looks they are are just stearing at each other lol

Belle letting Lib do the work lol

wvgal_dana said...

They have plenty of sticks up there to be moving around. Both are just looking out at their land and surroundings.

Eagle-Eyed Shar said...

Lib flew off and now Belle is undoing whatever he did with the sticks! :)

Eagle-Eyed Shar said...

Both back.

wvgal_dana said...

one had left then other left

One flew back in now other one is in and both are moving sticks

wvgal_dana said...

Moving of sticks and lots of beaking (kiss kiss)

wvgal_dana said...

He lifts an end of a stick to move it she gets the other end and puts it back lol

wvgal_dana said...

So Lib decided to go to the back and work on sticks. While Belle stays up front and lets him alone LOL

wvgal_dana said...

Both flew out

wvgal_dana said...

That was enjoyable wasn't it Sharon?

They were there a long time.

I loved it when Lib went to the back. Like I've had enough of her telling me I can't move that stick.
I'll go back here and she can stay up there and I'll moved sticks back here while she gets her face on the cam.

wvgal_dana said...

One just flew back in with a stick. Placed the stick.

wvgal_dana said...

That is Liberty up front moving sticks near cam tree.

wvgal_dana said...

He is looking around now. Turning his head looking back. Picking at some sticks again. Now turned his head an looking off to the left. Back around facing tree, now turing looking everywhere.

hedgie said...

OH DEAR, OH MY....POOR JUDIE. I am so very sorry she is going through this.....what an unfortunate twist of fate. DARTH: if you're checking in.....when will they do surgery? Sometime today? Please give Judie my love and (((hugs))) and let her know that we are all thinking about her and praying that everything goes well. Poor girl is probably so worried about her classes...

hedgie said...

Lynne, hope you wake up feeling much improved.

Wanda, have fun with your preps.

Margy, glad you made it back online.

wvgal_dana said...

Fly in in the back so both are in the nest. Moving sticks. I think what I thought was Liberty was truly Belle. Since Liberty flew in and is in the back. All that time stinker had me thinking it was Liberty....Belle you tease!!

wvgal_dana said...

Both just sitting there again viewing their area.

hedgie said...

Got a good capture---put it in album.

wvgal_dana said...

Belle is in the back now and Liberty is up front. I got that right this time !!! Look at Liberty's tail feathers.

wvgal_dana said...

Morning Lynn-Hedgie this has been a grand morning for our eagles. Coming to nest leaving then re-visiting. Been some beaks then later this time while in nest Belle when up front gave Liberty some unkindly pecks when he came near the flight pad. LOL

wvgal_dana said...

Liberty looks so big when he is in front.

hedgie said...

Long visit. Can't help but think that it is getting awfully late for in-the-tree cam work........JMHO.

wvgal_dana said...

They have been trying to fool everyone this morning I think. Changing positions and when Belle is back there and him up here. You think he is Belle and she is Liberty....they are a tease!!!

wvgal_dana said...

Belle messes with some sticks just a little earlier in the back.

wvgal_dana said...

Belle messes with some sticks just a little earlier in the back.

wvgal_dana said...

Ha Ha when Liberty (up front) turns his head like that makes it look like he needs a hair cut lol

GOOD MORNING,

GOOD WEEKEND.

I see both our beautiful eagles are present this morning.

I don't know why I opened that so early this A.M.

wvgal_dana said...

Belle flew out then Liberty.

They have been in the nest a long time.

If you go back and read comments. You'll see their different visit this morning.

I just got a GREAT PICTURE OF BELLE FLYING OUT!! Been waiting on that to catch one with my finger on the button but didn't think I could get it....I did I did ( :

wvgal_dana said...

Sorry Good Morning Jim glad you got to see our eagles. ( :

wvgal_dana said...

Lynn-Hedgie have you heard anything from Bill? Does the family know now?

Lolly said...

Good morning! Read the blog and my heart just sank as I read Darth's post. Even before I read what he had to say, just knowing it was him, I knew it was not good news.

Judie.....SO SORRY! Hope they are giving you lots of meds for the pain. I know you are really ticked that this has happened. (((Hugs)))

Margy, happy to see you back. I got my pictures and just love them. Thanks so much!

Need to get to church this morning and then we are leaving for the game in the early afternoon. So, have a great day...I'll be scarce!

Have to say GO FROGS! :)

wvgal_dana said...

Morning Lolly have fun at the game...you sure missed different visit at the time and then long times there too.

Mema Jo said...

Wanda - I think fixing the dressing for 21+ family members and hoping for some left overs is quite a chore BUT
you're fixing for 100
You sure are going to 'Break the Bread"
So many acts of Love you and Gene do!

stronghunter said...

Good morning! I went back to sleep and really slept in this morning. Flash kept crying for Kathryn, so she came down and snuggled into the recliner.

Kathryn and Hunter are now off on their Saturday adventures. It is just me and the menagerie.

Oh, Judie, so sorry to hear of your accident. Kathryn knows very well what it is like to fall down steps and break her leg. She sends her sympathy, too.

Frank, thank you for keeping us posted.

hedgie said...

Yes, Lolly. I too dreaded what Darth was going to say, because I knew it wasn't going to be good news......
Have a fun say. Good luck to the Frogs.

Jim, you had one of those "little bird" brain jiggles telling you to open the cam when you did!!!! So glad you listened!

Heading out to REALLY go get a new blower. Later, gators!

stronghunter said...

Lynne, I hope you are feeling much better now.

stronghunter said...

A snow blower, hmmm, I have been wondering how much they cost. We had one in Ohio many years ago, but we did not bring it to Virginia.

It would be helpful if we have another snowy winter if the snow is powdery.

stronghunter said...

Lynn, could you pass on the results of your snow blower research.

stronghunter said...

. . . snow blower research?

movin said...

Sure sorry to read about Judie's giant misstep last night...

Think I'll add her to my prayers.

C(°Ù¿°)D Jim

Mema Jo said...

Praying for Judie's comfort level and for a very experienced surgeon to be in charge. They can do wonders with fractures and breaks... Just takes time for healing. Frank, I can't thank you enough for thinking about us and informing us.. When you go over to hospital let Judie know she is our prayers!

stronghunter said...

Prayers for Judie this morning from here, too. I hope that her surgery is soon and successful.

NCSuzan said...

Good late morning to all. you guys have more happening before noon than most people have happen all day. The sick baby who has not seen a doctor. That is pure criminal. And how sad for Judie. She does not deserve this. Hope all goes well for both of these dear people.

Mema Jo said...

Shirley, I think Lynn is out to get a new LEAF blower. They thought they had fixed the old one but it only ran for a very short time.
I would think that with Will not at the house - you may need a snow blower as he was your chief snow remover..

I just know that Judie is lying there (not in pain) but her mind is probably racing 100 mph about how to cover her classes!
I didn't experience pain with my leg surgery - I pray Judie isn't either.

Mema Jo said...

Paula - They are NOT bringing

Mema Jo said...

Good Morning Suzan - very glad you
returned! Found that you do have a Face Book page and there are some birthday wishes on it....

Lynn - IMHO they better get that
HD up and running BEFORE the HP starts

NCSuzan said...

Jo, thanks for telling me about FB. I do not go on there very often. I will check it out.

stronghunter said...

Funny thing about Will. With all of the snow removal last winter, he lost weight and went on a fitness routine. He got very faithful about mowing grass all summer and has been showing up to mow this fall as well.

Now to the vacuum.

I was planning to go to an event6 at big Park next to our farmhouse office. One of our ladies will be selling sea glass jewelry & I need some Xmas presents. However, this Frank is finishing putting up gutter guards at the TALLEST end of the house. And he doesn't like heights. This corner is over the cement patio. I'm almost terrified, so I can't go til he's done. I offered to pay for him to get someone to do it, but he asked, Who?? So xxdx your fingers and toes. ☺ TY

I AM NEVER EATING AT WENDYS AGAIN

feeling better, just ate some toast. V and D has ceased. Went over to neighbor/landlords first thing this morning to help plant baby Christmas trees. Steve not happy about this. Did a compazine and some pain meds (don't know why my freaking back is so sore in other places). But I didn't want to miss out on some extra $$. Going to go back an lay down for a while.

Can't help thinking of poor Judie....I sure hope they have done the surgery by now. Hope to hear from Darth later today. UGH. She surely didn't need this :(

Glad to see the eagles have made some more showings today!! I agree Lynn, I'm hoping that they'll get the cam in sooner rather than later. Didn't Steve mention they changed the cam last year and had to get and eagle expert to monitor the situation?

I'll BBL...hope everyone is enjoying this AMAZING beautiful day!

NatureNut said...

Sorry, Lyyne, about your illness bout. Yuck

Happy to report that the Sr. citizen finished the gutter job in one piece. Now I can continue my day! Said he's not going up ladders again. (I hope) To make it tall enough, he had it on a picnic bench!!!

BBL---off to the Fair

stronghunter said...

)h, Loretta, I don't want to think about that. Ladder on a picnic bench. Oh, dear.

stronghunter said...

That's "Oh, Loretta . . . "

stronghunter said...

Posted a picture of Hunter in his deely boppers. He's on Facebook, too.

hedgie said...

Hi again. Was sure hoping to hear from Darth that the surgery was over.....I pray that they don't make her wait as long as you had to, Jo.

Shirley, bet you are enjoying your alone time. No criticism of Kathryn, but...I find it amazing that our daughters, well into their 30's and with kids, STILL sleep through things the way they did when they were teens. Has always ticked me off with Carolyn...mothers are supposed to sleep with one ear open for kids and dogs!
Lynne, thank goodness you are feeling better. Did you call the health department?? Doesn't hurt...they may have gotten other complaints, too!

hedgie said...

New LEAF blower works better than the old one! LOL, Shirley, I wouldn't be able to operate a snow blower even if I had one!! And unless it had an elctronic ignition I woouldn't even be able to start it!

hedgie said...

So, everything is done again except for the dog yard.
Did anyone hear that gas went up 10 cents between Th. eve and Fri. morn??? Typical: weekend!

stronghunter said...

Happy that you got a new leaf blower, Lynn. I don't have many leaves to blow.

stronghunter said...

Back to vacuuming.

stronghunter said...

Speaking of gas prices, I hate to think how much I spend on gasoline with my commute.

stronghunter said...

And, again, back to vacuuming. I managed to get the vacuum upstairs. I was afraid I would not be able to because it is pretty heavy.

hedgie said...

Shirley, aren't we a pair? Just finished on main level. Was pondering whether to go upstairs to my bedroom (loft)...decided to wait until I change the bed Tues. (good rainy day job!).

Mema Jo said...

Yes, your two are super busy today.
Hubby finished the yard collecting the leaves with his mower attachment.
Can't wait for fear the rain will come and you just can't do much with wet leaves.

I know what you mean about Judie's surgery being soon/over. I did really have to wait.. What I hated the most was not getting fed in prep for surgery that kept getting postponed. I think the surgeon just wanted his team to all be there. Guess I didn't complain because of the fantastic repair job he did.

Mema Jo said...

Off to Mass

BBL

hedgie said...

Jo, if I had been you, I would have had a killer headache from being NPO for so long! You were sure a trooper.

stronghunter said...

How long did Jo have to wait?

stronghunter said...

Speaking of getting fed, I am about ready to find some food. Maybe it's a good night to order a pizza. I haven't been to the store today and just do not want leftover pork chops or fish sticks.

stronghunter said...

Yay! Margy's pictures of the police escort came in today's mail.

We had such fun.

hedgie said...

Shirley, Jo will correct me if I'm wrong but I think it was 3 days.
Pizza sounds like a good idea, Shirley. I'm having crab cakes and corn bread!

stronghunter said...

Dana, how did you pull that one off?

Got the number for Fairfax Hospital early this morning. Later called Jo to get Judie's last name cause I couldn't remember it.

Phone around noon...they hooked me to her room no answer.

So I just called no answer again...that worried me because of her other health problems. So I ask them to put me into the nurses station on Judie's floor. Spoke to them said how we were connected and that there was a very large group worrying about her. Needing to pray for Judie. That is when she said she is in surgery right now. I said if you see Frank tell him the Eagle Group is praying for Judie.

wvgal_dana said...

Hi Margy thanks great crime story and nice catch Mr. Policeman. Wonder if any connection with bank robbery in the Mall bank?

Just have to wait and see if this is the guy and it leads to the girl.

wvgal_dana said...

I really thought when I called her hospital room earlier today. That she was in surgery and that is why she didn't answer. Thought since it was around noon. Frank would be down getting himself something to eat. Had no idea they would wait this long to do surgey on Judie.

stronghunter said...

I had gone back and checked for Judie's last post before the accident, Margy.

It would be nice if she could have a laptop at the hospital to communicate with us. But, then I hope she won't be at the hospital for that long.

stronghunter said...

Waiting for my pizza to arrive. Porch light is on. I am ready to chow down.

Costume Lady said...

Margy, turkey cooking and fixins went well! 175lbs of turkey and tray after tray of mac and cheese , dressing, sauerkraut, cole slaw, all refrigerated. Tomorrow morning we will make green beans, mashed potatoes and gravy. Never cooked so much food before...we had great fellowship, but I don't think I have been this tired since I gave birth to Karla!:)

Oh, now I have George trying to steal my chicken bones. Have to dispose of them. No chicken bones for my kitty.

My in-laws lived in Minneapolis for a number of years. I would not like such a cold climate. It's very nice there in summer, though it can get plenty hot and humid. And then there is the mosquito problem. They joked that the mosquito was the state bird.

stronghunter said...

We have lots of snow pictures from their years there. Snow being shoveled from the roof, etc.

Frustration.

I want to use Google Earth to do something for my classes. I have had it for a long time, but it disappeared when they worked on my computer, and my computer will not permit me to download it again.

I guess I will have to request a tech to come download it for me, which means I will not have it until they are able to help me. I really wanted to use it on Monday. Guess I will not be doing that.

It is a valuable educational tool.

I think they do not want us to download something that would damage the system, but the problem is that they do not always have time to do everything for us.

Mema Jo said...

I doubt that they will keep Judie long Probably go home tomorrow... I had to
prove I could put weight on my leg & then I got out of there!

I didn't put much weight on my leg - had a walker & physical therapy for a month or more. It is funny how I can't remember much detail but we don't like to remember hurtful things. I just remember my therapist teaching me how to walk smoothly again. I do remember Lynn that it was almost 3 days...

stronghunter said...

That is one heck of a long time to wait for surgery, Jo! Surely they did not deny you food for that long.

Mema Jo said...

Shirley - do you have a drop down bar at the upper right where you can click and probably get 7 different programs including Google, Yahoo, Bing, Amazon.com ie.....

stronghunter said...

When Kathryn had leg surgery, she was in the hospital for about a week. They wanted her to be able to climb stairs. She was very upset, and when she did get home, she went up and downstairs on her backside.

I rented her a wheelchair to get around at school. She was in ninth grade at the time.

I hope Judie's other leg problems do not cause complications.

stronghunter said...

Not sure I know what you mean, Jo.

Mema Jo said...

Went in Morning hours - sent to my room
Surgery canceled for that evening...
Expecting surgery next morning...
OP room not available.. Hoping for that evening.. Nope
Afternoon of next day - surgery team available.. Later that evening the Aide and my 2 sons went to the cafe & brought back delicious things for me to eat..............

stronghunter said...

I had a shortcut to Google Earth. When I try to download it again, I get kicked off Interned Explorer, so I downloaded Firefox, but it will not allow me to download Google Earth, either. Somehow, it is blocked.

stronghunter said...

But they did not let you eat until then??????

Judie said...

Dear Momsters, Dadsters, Popsters and Eagle Lovers:

Judie is out of surgery which I am told went well, but I have not spoken to the surgeon. Judie is also out of it, being heavily sedated for the operation. She has been given a pain pump where she can administer pain medication to herself up to s certain level.

For the time being I would appreciate it if you would not try to call her directly [although the hospital will give you the number.] She needs some undisturbed rest. Instead, ask for her nurses station [6th floor, orthopedics] and see if they will give you an update. Or, call me @ 703-641-9380 .. although I am still pretty much out of it, too.

Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers, and I will make her aware of them.

God Bless you all.

Frank [aka Darth] Vajda

Mema Jo said...

Shirley, I am on Firefox
The upper right "Search" window
I have a drop down to click and it
brings up my programs... That is where
my Google is

stronghunter said...

I was told that I should not have Firefox, either, but then my ITRT--(person who helps teachers with technology) was using it, so I asked her, and she said that she would check. She could see no problem. But she has resigned and gone to another system. I will remove Firefox, but I am enjoying having it for a little while. It is much better.

stronghunter said...

Bless you, Frank. Please get some undisturbed rest yourself.

hedgie said...

Dana, I saw your 5:29 comment.....so??? why am I supposed to look at it again?

Shirley, I downloaded Google Earth to my PC, and then to my laptop. It disappeared from laptop and won't let me download it again. So I think it's a Google Earth problem, not your security parameters!

Going to take my bath. Maybe we'll hear something from Darth soon.

Mema Jo said...

Great to hear from Frank. I'm sure they both need some rest - I have faith that Frank will contact us with information as it comes available and if it is something we should know.... Like when Judie is to be released.
Good idea would be to send get well cards to home address.
Prayers for Judie to be comfortable
and to heal
Prayers also for Frank

wvgal_dana said...

Frank thank you for coming in an giving us an update of Judie. Will NOT call her room. She needs her rest and to heal and recover so she can go home. Prayers for her and you too Frank. You sound exhausted; God help Frank to get some rest and feel more peaceful when he see's Judie tomorrow.

wvgal_dana said...

NOT A LINK BUT PRAYER IS NEEDED HERE:

The ones at the Friday Nights Oct 22 dinner remember Iris's cousin Barbara. Well Barbara's daughter Carole has had a mini-stroke in Florida. Everyone is waiting to hear the outcome of tests as to the severity. Please pray for Iris, Barbara, Carole and family and friends.

stronghunter said...

Maybe that is the case, Lynn. I've tried several times. First time was at school, so I thought I would just need to try at home, but that did not work either.

Nobody has said I could not use Google Earth. And the ITRT thought that the tech who said I could not use Firefox was mistaken. She is a new hire. I might ask someone else on Monday.

stronghunter said...

Jo, I see the dropdown list in the corner. Interesting. I will see what happens if I use Google. But I don't think I will get Google Earth this way. It seems to allow me to use several different search engines. I had not experimented with that before. Thank you.

NCSuzan said...

Good evening everyone. So good to hear that Judie's surgery went well. Know her husband will feel better once he has talked to a surgeon. Jo, if possible , would you e-mail me Judie's address? How 'bout that timing? Same time I was hoping for an update, Darth was giving one! Thankful that the surgery is over. Hope that pain pump keeps Judie snowed for the night. I doubt that she'll be home before the middle of the week. She will need PT for sure---probably NO weight-bearing for quite some time. I was jsut shocked that that Jo was able to bear weight like she did!!!

So sorry to hear about Barb Kaplen's daughter. She is probably quite young. Prayers for her, too.

Chicken soup sounds like a good idea. I always keep a few cans of chicken soup around just in case.

Guess homemade chicken soup would be even better, but when you're sick you want to sake shortcuts.

Evening, all!

Just got home from 1/2 day of work, then Cohen's party, then stopped and got a bite to eat on the way home.

I read Dana's email about Judie and jumped on here right away to get caught up.

Darth, please let Judie know we are sending love and hugs her way for quick healing.

Poor Judie... I am sure she is worried sick about her classes...and Darth as well. So glad the surgery is done so she can begin healing.

Way to go, Frank...
You're a hero and real trooper...
thanks so much for the update regarding Judie....
cards it will be, and plenty of them!

Prayers continue, and also for Barbara's daughter....seems she must be quite young for a mini-stroke.

As Wanda mentioned earlier, these things could happen to any of us here.

Think it is time to say Good Night before my eyelids do it for me....

Good Night!

God Bless Us, Every One
xo ♥

Suzan, so glad you made it back here today :)

I can smell all those turkeys, Wanda :)

Pizza was very good, Lynne. It is from a nearby restaurant called George's. Most appropriate.

paula eagleholic said...

Legs seem much easier to start walking on than an ankle in pieces, Lynn.

stronghunter said...

Yes, breaks at joints are bad.

NCSuzan said...

Paula, thank you. Shirley, it was just a thought. Hope you can find a solution.

hedgie said...

Lynne, fever can result from food poisoning, too! Hope the soup settled well...just try to stay hydrated. Feel better!

hedgie said...

Yeah, leg bones can take a rod to stabilize. Ankles/feet can only take screws and plates, and the bones are so small that it's hard to get a good anchor for attachment.

hedgie said...

Did Cohen have fun at his party, Paula? Any special theme?

stronghunter said...

I do appreciate the thought Suzan. From what Lynn says, it doesn't sound like it has anything to do with my security settings.

stronghunter said...

Suzan, I really like your doggy avatar, and you have a very nice blog set up. Can't wait to see something on it.

stronghunter said...

Kathryn and Hunter have been gone for hours. They are having a busy day.

NCSuzan said...

Lynne, so sorry you are ill. How did I miss that? Hopefully you are past the ugly and on your way to health once again.

With so many talking holiday foods and events makes me realize that time is slipping up on me. And I am not fast to begin with!!

NCSuzan said...

Shirley, Marley was my dearest companion for 13 years. Next to my daughter he was a special member of our family. We had to put him down 2 years ago. He looks way better in photos than I do! We have 4 cats that are a blast but nothing takes the place of a dog. Yeah, my blog needs some work. It's woefully lacking in some personality and history! Stay on top of me to keep working on it!

Just stopped in during commerical. Remember Judie has leg stents too.

stronghunter said...

There are lots of people on here to help you get it going, Suzan.

stronghunter said...

I had a sweet basset hound, Sassafras. We had to put her down several years ago.

paula eagleholic said...

Lynn, this years theme was "Redskins vs Eagles". Had a Redskins helmet cake, an Eagles helmet cake and a football cake. Cohen's cousin Tre, his birthday is today and Cohen's is tomorrow, but they have been celebrating them together. Everyone wore their favorite team jersey.

I can't believe Ajay didn't have Gianni in her Skin's dress! Said she would put it on her and get me a picture on Monday.

paula eagleholic said...

And everyone had a great time....wonderful weather today, kids were playing football, jumping on the trampoline and playing on the swings :)

stronghunter said...

The basset hound on my avatar is Luna. She's Hunter's.

paula eagleholic said...

Nice pic of Marley, Suzan.

stronghunter said...

Sounds great, Paula. Kathryn is busy planning Hunter's party. His birthday is November 28.

hedgie said...

Suzan, just wait til the food talk really starts, and the recipes start flying! You'll be hungry all the time!! We have phenomenal cooks here!

NCSuzan said...

I love Luna. But I checked out your blog and I think I love Hunter more. How cute is he! And those beautiful blue eyes. What a great age to be a boy!! I have been graduall;y reading the blogs so that i can come to know the people on here better.

paula eagleholic said...

Hey, Lynn, I think the food talk is pretty much all the time, lol

paula eagleholic said...

Totally missed our pair today, thanks for the pics!

stronghunter said...

Hunter is very lovable, Suzan.

NCSuzan said...

Lynne, I have lurked on here for two years here and there. I have the bacon pasta recipe and do you remember the crescent roll cream cheese dessert? Can't remember the name. Have that too. So yes, I am excited to be around such talented chefs!

stronghunter said...

The blue eyes do show in the deely- bopper picture.

stronghunter said...

If you have lurked for two years, you have been here longer than I have, Suzan.

NCSuzan said...

Would check in during egg laying season and of course the hatching and then the growing and wingerciaing and the fledging. As I saw on another forum...I came because of the Eagles but stayed for the friends.

NCSuzan said...

that is supposed to be wingersizing!!

So good to hear from Frank again. So0 glad surgery went well. Hope for good, speedy recovery.Plz. tell her prayers from all.

Dear Wanda, Will you be having turkey for Thanksgiving??? I would not want to see another one after all the work you did! (Or you could freeze one ☺)

Prayers for Iris's cousin.

hedgie said...

Paula, bet the kids all had fun! Sounds like a great way for them to celebrate.

paula eagleholic said...

Ah, that would be sopapilla cheesecake, Suzan. Hmmm, about time to make one!

paula eagleholic said...

Thanks, Lynn, they did. Fed them cake and ice cream and sent them out to run it off!

stronghunter said...

Would you share the recipe, Paula?

NatureNut said...

Looks like Paula had a great B'Day part day with family! What a great football idea. Can't wait to see Gianni as a Redskin!

Also, best wishes to Lynne in the health dept!

I was remebering Jo's injured leg & you seemed to amazingly get on your feet quickly. My SIL had that tree piece he was sawing fall on his foot a couple summers ago. Few broken bones, surgery w/all kinds of hardware & small rods sticking out of his toes! Yuck! Was a pretty long recovery. I'm sure ankles are real tricky.Hope Judie gets lots of therapy.

NatureNut said...

That's B'Day Party!!

Also, great to see NCSuzan this evening!

I've been reading up on Asthma meds tonight. Brensin is on Singulair, but seems to be having some side effects. Don't know if anyone saw the most recent reports on it, but can cause tremors and such in young children.

He has been good at using the nebulizer, but not the inhaler so well.

A lot of them are used for COPD treatment as well.
