Heidigirl I think you are so right about Liberty wanting that egg! He is the one who is around the egg well the most. Inspecting it and rearranging it and getting grasses! Maybe he'll get his wish.......But it best be soon!
Glad to see you are finished the paychecks and can be back on the blog
Jo dont make the same mistake I did. I missed mine because of vanity. It was stupid and I'd never do it again.I felt like a fool when I got the reunion book and saw how I wasnt the only one who aged. OK, I'll get back to work...
Well, I would like a new outfit to wear since everything in the closet seems to have shrunk!
Really, I have gone to the reunions since the first 5 year one. I know what your saying AnneMarie - I guess old friendships is what always brings me back. I heartedly recommend to anyone that you go back in time for an evening and feel and think young again.
EAGLE FOSTERING ALERT Per Dr Sharpe We are going to try to foster the Two Harbors chicks today. We'll be leaving the office around 11:30, so should be at the nest between 1 and 2 pm.
I think it is 4-5pm our time....???? Hey you Californians - What time is it out there?
Jo,you are three hours ahead of us. With all thats happening I will have to work late to make up for the time I've goofed off. I owe the company that much. later
Not sure of locations on the island but Santa Cruz is having terrific winds. Two Harbors is pretty calm. No switch yet - I am watching as long as I have the cam.
Did you see that look she gave him? lol Like What have you been doing while I was gone? Has she actually seen them yet?.. or does she just hear them?? I may have missed something.
That little "spunky" was a hand full the second the Dr. put him in the nest. He put his head up as if to say "Hey your not leaving me in here, are you?" There is one in every family.
That one is like one of the three they put on WEnest - They are calling him Harry (Houdini) because he is an escape artist when it comes to running around the nest. They have some cute videos on IWS from their bloggers.
Hello Sandra! Been hoping you would stop in and say hi but you were short & sweet and only said "weagles"! lol How is it going for you? Is Tom's surgery next week? Has your sister remained visiting with you? OH BOY JO I really sound nosey! I am really just concerned..
Boy alot has happened since I left the blog to finish my book. You all had an exciting afternoon. There should be a siren or something that goes off on this blog when something exciting is going to happen. :)
Hello to all. I thought of you, Jo, today, because we had to go to Frederick to take care of some banking business for our son in Bangkok. Thought of Paula too; happy belated birthday, Paula. Which part of Middletown do you live in, Jo?
Mother is home, and bedridden with heart failure. The Home Health Agency came in on Monday and are a great help. However, I think we may have to switch to full time nursing help, as my sister has Parkinson's Disease, and though she is a great help she doesn't have much physical strength. Tom can't lift more than 5# because of the iv line in his shoulder. I have little physical strength, and I have discovered that nursing requires a lot.
Tom was scheduled for surgery yesterday because of an administrative mix-up it was postponed probably until next week. My son and daughter in law will be here for the weekend, when Home Health Care does not operate.
I still have hopes for our nest, and what a thrill in Maine! Those were some surprised biologists! And our own Dana was the first to announce it! Hurray!
Naturegal posted this remark on IWS: Dr. Sharpe - I guess that you have heard of Purolater Delivery Service. Well, I think you should start your own company and call it "Eaglelator Delivery Service". You are the only person I know that makes nest deliveries of baby eagles and gives them all such a good home.
Sandra - Thanks for letting us know how you have been doing. Prayers are being said for your inner strength! If I had any strength to give you or to do things for you I certainly would! Our eagle world is just bustling all over. We keep holding our breath for Belle to sit in that egg well - but so far it's not happening. At least they are around the nest and we can keep track of them.
Has 81 or 82 brought food in for the little ones? I went to eat and missed about an hour. Looks like they are still trying to figure out where the babies came from.
Jill - don't think any food has been brought in yet by 81 or 82. Remember that Dr Sharpe generously feeds them and fills their little crops before he delivers them. WEnest took a while to feed their 3 after delivery.
This is the first time I have witnessed the switch. Glad to know they have full little bellies before they are put in the nest. You would think bad boy would have taken a nap if his belly was so full. LOL
Mom at Two Harbors finally got up and up popped a little head. Could it have been "wiggle worm?" Mama is having a terrible time sitting still. She is up again and so is the head.
I woke up at 12:44 a.m., looked at the computer monitor and Belle was in the nest. If she is there now, I can't tell through the mini-blinds. Saved a couple of pics, then had to go back and look at them to make sure I was not having a middle-of-the-night hallucination but sure enough, she was there!
Happy Friday the 13th! Well, it's really quiet without Suzanne in here this morning. Lisa has updated the osprey cam web log, interesting info. Another dreary, chilly day here only 41°. Going thru birdseed likes it's January. We realy need some sunshine here. Hope the cam gets fixed soon, they have been in the nest so much lately. Fingers crossed, but we have got to be running out of time for this season. Off to find my long johns...
Paula, I can't seem to get the address you gave in your blog to come up. It just comes up to youtube.com after I put the whole thing in there. I tried animals and pets, etc. I don't know where to look. Help!

Heidigirl I think you are so right about Liberty wanting that egg!

Thank you SUNNY!!!! Thank you!!!
It was so long ago they had to demolish the high school..
Of course they erected houses in place of it!
Well, I would like a new outfit to wear since everything in the closet seems to have shrunk!

Camsgrammy - how are you today with all this eagle news?
Thanks for the heads up on this new thread.
Going over to momster album..
BBL
Finished album on momsters for today so far.
Lisa reported that a bird stole the
2 Sod Balls from the Osprey nest. Gives them more room in the middle to put those eggs!
EAGLE FOSTERING ALERT
Per Dr Sharpe

Hey you Californians - What time is it out there?
PANDA ALERT
Since the eaglets are napping..
ButaButa and LunLun are having a fun time on the logs and ladder.
Anyone know when Norma gets home
from Florida??
Jo,you are three hours ahead of us. With all thats happening I will have to work late to make up for the time I've goofed off. I owe the company that much. later
I just got a call from So Cal and its really windy and nasty down there. I hope it doesnt cause any problems for the Dr.
Not sure of locations on the island but Santa Cruz is having terrific winds. Two Harbors is pretty calm.
No switch yet - I am watching as long as I have the cam.
Maine is eating and feeding chick.
Still an egg at Santa Cruz no hatch yet.
Dana Getting ready for the wooden egg switch to 2 chicks at Two Harbors....
Wooden eggs still in the nest.
4:44pm Eagle off THnest - 2 wooden eggs in view - Still awaiting the Drs arrival..... Bad news-Eagle returned!!! Now what?
Usually Dr Sharpe's head pops up on the side of the nest & in he will come.. He'll need to wait until the eagle leaves - Eagles just standing there...
My camera is stuck. Parent still there and wooden eggs.
Eagle gone - Come on Dr...
Hit F5
Remember you only get 10 min.
When your time is up - just go right back on
It is updating but no rhyme or reason to when.
At TH, the eagle is gone off the wooden eggs. I am thinking somebody is around - maybe Dr. Sharpe?
Dr Sharpe is expected any minute now!!!
GOTCHA
Always clean lens first
They shut the camera off!
He said he is going to reposition the camera
Should be back on any minute.......
He killed the camera. LOL
BACK ON!
The show is about to begin!!!
BACK OFF!
Brief intermission, I HOPE
HERE WE GO!
Chicks in a carryall!
Yep! Dr Sharpe and Steffani
That was so cool.
Now the suspense begins while we
wait for mom and dad to see what
is in their nest!!!!
How cool was that!! Momma is going to think - dang I was only gone for a couple of minutes. How did this happen!
What will she think? She knows it takes longer than 5 minutes for 2 eggs to hatch.
Here's the bestest part happening now!!!
Parent is there!!!! Look how tiny they look!
Dad is checking things out.
ARE YOU MY MOTHER??????
No, but I am your daddy!! :)
So much easier when they have tags to tell them apart
Little guy doesn't know what the heck just sat on him.
No, but that Daddy sure knows how to protect! Waiting for the wife to get back and do her job.
One of the sure is fiesty, sticking his head up and pecking at Daddy.
Won't she be surprised? Well, another successful eventful day in the lives of the eagles!
Dinner time here in this home!
BBL
What # does the Momma have on her?
I need to go take a shower but want to wait for Momma to show up.
82
Thanks, Jill.
I think they are going to have a handful with that one. He just won't lay down under Dad and rest. Keeps poking his head out.
What a fantastic experience. WOW. Thats something I will never forget. I wont mind working late to make up for that. Its beyond words.
I am loving watching daddy trying to get control of the babies. They just won't listen. Mom better get back soon.
Yeah, he is like - okay, this is long enough!!!
Does anybody know how old the chicks are? Poor dad. He is having a rough time of it. Probably wondering whose babies these are. LOL
They are both there now - Just couldn't stay away - I had to see Momma's response...
Mom is back, things are going to change now.
Dad is trying to explain to Mom where the babies came from
Did you see that look she gave him? lol Like What have you been doing while I was gone?
Has she actually seen them yet?.. or does she just hear them?? I may have missed something.
The one keeps popping his head out from under dad so she has probably seen them.
But Dad isn't giving them up!! lol
He was ready to earlier. One of them is bad. Won't stay still for second.
She saw one of them then. Probably bad boy sticking his head up again.
The adults seem to be distracted by something....
Yeah, kept looking around until dad came back then starting pecking at dad when he was sitting on them.
I think she is trying to convince him to go fishing......... lol
Now 82 sees it all!
Now it really is dinnertime.........
eagles in our nest!
Weagles. Ours.
Ours is MT now. #82 is trying to figure out exactly what she is going to do with those babies! But I bet she already knows! :):):)
Hello Sandra! Been hoping you would stop in and say hi but you were short & sweet and only said "weagles"! lol
How is it going for you? Is Tom's surgery next week? Has your sister remained visiting with you?
OH BOY JO
I really sound nosey!
I am really just concerned..
Well, you know where those new chicks came from... The STORK brought them!!!
Boy alot has happened since I left the blog to finish my book. You all had an exciting afternoon. There should be a siren or something that goes off on this blog when something exciting is going to happen. :)

Her remark is perfect!
Sandy, you sure have your hands full. Our hearts and prayers are with you and yours. Hopefully things will work out.
Sandra - Thanks for letting us know how you have been doing. Prayers are being said for your inner strength!
If I had any strength to give you or to do things for you I certainly would!

Some one is pulling the blinds on our cam..... I can see through the slats.
This is the first time I have witnessed the switch. Glad to know they have full little bellies before they are put in the nest. You would think bad boy would have taken a nap if his belly was so full. LOL
81 just left TH nest - hopefully for food.
It must be that spidey, getting ready for a night of foolishness.
I think 'little bad boy' was probably too excited finding out he had a real bird mother and father to take care of him!! lol
I would think it was almost time for the evening visit at our nest.
Jo, I was just about to ask if you thought that they would be back tonight?
It sure looks like the wiggle worm eagle in Two Harbors is getting a little antsy. #82 is having trouble sitting still. :)
Mom at Two Harbors finally got up and up popped a little head. Could it have been "wiggle worm?" Mama is having a terrible time sitting still. She is up again and so is the head.
OUR NEST
WEAGLES
Eagle Alert in our nest
Liberty and Belle in nest.
MT nest. That wasn't a very long visit.
Got some pics even though the cam picture was really lousy.
TH ...82 ..mom is brooding the 2 chicks right now .... hopefully dad 81 is away fishing!
I'm with Jo. When Mom got up, those weagles looked hungry.
Vabies up in two harbors nest
Are vabies any thing like weagles?
guess I'll call it a night. Too dark to see. I hope "wiggle worm" lets his parents sleep tonight. Good night all.
Oh Jill, I meant to type babies and it came out wrong.
Mom has sat back down on them now.
Good night Jo and Jill. Eyes to the sky.
I do hope dad comes back soon if just so Mom doesn't have to keep stretching her neck to see if he is coming!
Good Night Candy..........
I'll be around for a little while - Watching for food to come in at TH and watching for a hatching at SC.
In the meantime I'm playing a card game.................
Yummy Yummy Food for their Tummy
THnest has a feeding going on big time. Both mom and dad with the 2
new chicks!
TH chicks just got fed.
There is a storm in Maine. They may lose power, If so, they will try to get the cam on asap.
I hope SC hangs in there...I think they almost have a chick - Wind is very forceful!
Calling it an exciting day....
Good Night All
Pleasant dreams of eagles & eaglets
Prayers being said for all
Suzanne doesn't do Friday 13th
I woke up at 12:44 a.m., looked at the computer monitor and Belle was in the nest. If she is there now, I can't tell through the mini-blinds. Saved a couple of pics, then had to go back and look at them to make sure I was not having a middle-of-the-night hallucination but sure enough, she was there!
It is 4:55am. Don't ask why I am up just blame stupid people. Can't tell if anybody is in the nest or not, blinds are shut tight right now.
I am up temporarily, I hope, looked at venetian blinds, because of Sharon's pics.
After a bunch of nothing, I believe I can see Liberty's head and tail at 12 o'clock and Belle's head below in the nest.
Jim
There is definitely an eagle head visible of a bird standing at 3 o'clock in the bottom of the nest, but it's still very unclear.
Light is driving away the white cross hatches, and I can see the barns, etc., fairly clearly.
Jim
She is in the nest but the pic is so washed out and looks horrible!
All gone. Good morning everyone. Still Hope !
