Palm Sunday... Good trip into the Holy City, Folks.
I don't see any action in our nest this morning, but upon thinking about it, I guess eagles usually take a day or more off just before laying the eggs.
Took a look at Bob Quinn's photos that he shared with us last evening. They are great. In case you didn't see, go to: http://www.pbase.com/cp8800/morebw
I was on the Maine site - New web pages for the BioDiversity Research Institute's live eagle web cam. I reached it from my older url. Most of you have already found that out. I had not been checking on them.
good Palm Sunday afternoon all. I just came in from mass and headed right for the computer and our eagle nest. It was good to read that someone saw them in the nest at 6:45am and again around 9:17am. It did look as if there was more cushiony stuff in there, too. It seems that our hopes are being heard. Thanks for the Pic Sharon, so we can all share in the experience.
Happy birthday to your father and sister WVgal_Dana. What a beautiful day for a birthday.
Guess I'll try and check out the other sites for a minute. BBL
Hi There VA nest is having a supervised nap time. They are all three in a row. Blackwater is having unsupervised nap time. They are at opposite sides of the nest. Cape Coral's two think they're to old for naps! Sitting up in the middle of the nest. I am still keeping an eye out for Belle or Liberty... BBL
Back again and see that there hasn't been too much going on. I spent the greater part of the afternoon checking on the Norfolk babies and looking back at our nest. I take it that no one has seen them since this morning; does look as if an inner nest has been upgraded, tho. I have to be at school tomorrow at 6am to monitor the special ed bus, so guess I'll close out for the night. I hope tomorrow brings some news. Good night all!
LOOKS LIKE BW EAGLE CAM DOWN...LOOKED AT THE OSPREY NEST AND BOTH WERE THERE UNTIL AFTER DARK. lOOKS LIKE ONLY THE FEMALE IS THERE IN THE DARK NOW. WONDER WHEN SHE WILL START LAYING.
Gee whiz, I thought that I would be the first one up this Monday morning, but I see that Suzanne beat me. Well, it is still too dark to see if anyone is in our nest. Hope you all have good news when I check in tonight after work. You all have a nice spring day and watch for eagles that fly. BBL
Good morning. I have been watching them this morning. It looked like Belle was trying out the egg cup this morning. I got a wonderful shot of the last one flying off! I will send them out in a little bit.
Morning,Suzanne,42° here and very foggy, as you can see on the cam pic. That was great seeing them come in and eat breakfast this morning. Going to be a beautiful spring day today!

Dana, that is its number, believe that is K-10 sitting on the eggs, all of the eagles we watch out there have numbers on them.
Off to Palm Sunday Mass, TTYL.
Took a look at Bob Quinn's photos that he shared with us last evening.

Thanks Mits I knew they had numbers and they were orange. Yet for some reason the way she was laying it looked curley like flowers under her.
12:13EST just seen her K10 at Santa Cruz turn egg.
Hi Dana. I have some afternoon activities to do so I will return later today. Keep an eye on our nest... They are due for a visit!

Morning all.
That fog is making the nest look eerie. Like something out of a horror movie. >.<
Let's hope that we get some really good news for another egg or an entire second clutch this week.
Fingers crossed!
Good foggie morning Suzanne, Carolina, Sketterman, Sharon, Megan and Jennifer.
Lisa has great pics on Osprey Gallery.
