Mits Colorado hatching date is 4/7 or 4/8 but you know nature. So I've just been checking.

Read all the comments for Tuesday - anxious to open emails for Suzanne's pics from this morning. It is beautiful today-love the sunshine.
Vicky - isn't it way too early for a hatch at Kent - they were the last eggs laid - what did you see?
I don't know what I saw but I did not see 2 distinct eggs, maybe I'm all wet!
Way too early for KENT, UNLESS THEY HAVE LOST ONE.
Kents eggs should hatch around 4/ 27 and 4/30.

Our poor Maine was a great site to watch and hear the eagles calling back and forth. Hoping they get it going again real soon.

Good Morning all, Well I'm at my desk and all the work I didnt do yesterday is staring at me. Its mornings like this I'm ready to retire. I turned my alarm off and slept an extra hour so I'm really messed up now. Anyway enough growling for one morning. Maybe we will get an egg today and it will all be worth it.Its a beautiful day and my mocking bird is singing. All is well.

Good Morning Norma. that getting up is for birds only. If I could just sleep until 7:00 I'd be happy. Thats sleeping in to me. I dont think God made man to get up before the sun. Getting ready for the Easter picnic. Its a big thing with my my family. Its like Christmas but at the lake. We have it on Saturday intead of Sunday. Sunday is for church.My dining room looks like the Easter Bunny invaded it.Hope this day is great for you.

SC is back up. They have been having problems over the last week or so between 11 and 12, it seems. Not quite sure what the problem is.
It is back at S. Cruz, Paula. It's a little startling to see a feed like VA or S. Cruz, which are usually perfect, go blonkers...

Hi all, I just read the news about WV avian flu break out and 25,000 turkeys killed. Wow, thats scary.In one article it states our eagle population is growing and in another it states threat of Avian flu passing to preditory birds in WV. In one breath I'm happy and worried.

Wow I waited all day for that. Always when I'm ready to sign off and go home. They must tell time. Belle moved that stick I have been staring at all day. She must have got my thoughts. Have a good evening all. I'll check in later if I can. Family over for dinner.
I missed them again. I read all the day's blogs, and looked in on the different cams, and checked back here only to find that they came and went. Just my luck.
BTW is anyone still having trouble getting some of the cams to come up now? Norfolk still seems to be down along with the one at BW.

My son is coming down from Winchester, Va. for Easter, and I am supposed to be housecleaning tonight. :( heidigirl, you seem to have the same luck as me. You at least got to see them. I think I'll rig up an alarm system to notify me when they arrive. I've had the nest up onn our computer at school all day waiting for them to show.
It probably is about time for spidey to show up.
Wow, the birds flew out and the fog rolled into the area and the nest immediately!

Yes, I am watching the eagles whenever I can, actually mostly empty nest so tonight was a thrill.
Mother is in City Hospital with congestive heart failure. They have removed quarts of fluid from her and her breathing is better. However, on Sunday morning she suffered something similar to a stroke, although they don't find any clinical signs on the CAT scan. Today she was somewhat improved, and tonight she ate a bowl of pudding. She recognizes us, but can't talk. My sister and her husband are flyhing in from California tomorrow, so that will help with hospital visiting, as I like to have someone from the familyh there as much as possible.
Tom is scheduled for surgery next Wednesday. They will remove the artificial knee and replace it with an anitbacterial spacer. We don't know for how long, or whether he will be able to walk on it.
Thank you for all your prayers and messages. Jo, are any of your boys affected by this new Tenth Mountain deployment? Prayers for you.
Oh, I do hope that we will have eaglets.

Sandy, sorry to hear about your Mom and Tom. You have it all coming at one time. They will both be in my prayers as well as will you, to help you get through this "bump in your road." It is good to hear that your sister will be coming to be with you at this time. That will be a big help.

I was in love with the area when we moved, but soooo much has happened since. that is is getting a little overcrowded.

Jo, NBC news reported tonight that Tenth Mountain Division soldiers are being redeployed to Iraq earlier than expected as are soldiers from one of the bases in Texas. I thought of you immediately.
Sandra - Some of those men haven't been home very long - it doesn't seem fair to them - especially those with families. Patrick should have been home in Feb but was extended to June.
Then in June, for me, Ryan will be going to Iraq for his 2nd tour.
I pray for peaceful solutions to
all this turmoil. It's just not the
way to spend your life.
