Hello Momsters and Dadsters! I haven't checked in for a few days, and now I see we have a little bobblehead! How exciting! I'll try to pop back in tomorrow and catch up on more news. Hello to anyone who might remember me!

I never spoke to Nila where she did not praise the Lord for the blessings she has received and says everyday that God is so good.
I am going to bed now. I had some pathology reports to type tonight so I can get up in the morning and go to the hospital to see Nila.

Lolly, he last called at a little after 9pm (FLA time of course!) and the psychiatrist was with Wendy. She has to have 72hrs of legally required observation/evaluation. He/she will let them know how it will work, what to expect, etc. Don't know if this is something that will be done where she is now, or if she'll be moved to an actual psych facility. MTBR. She has some sort of "guard" with her at all times now so as to prevent her from trying to leave.

Steve just called, Wendy will not have to go to another facility, only to a different part of the hospital. Will move tonight or tomorrow AM. Visiting will be restricted to certain times as she'll be in therapy. Mom is ready to come home. I think they will be back mid week next week. YAY!! I miss my Stubby!
Anyway, she, and they all, have admitted that there isn't anything else they can do for her other than pray that she chooses to live. Steve and his mother don't really have much hope. She flat out said, next time, if she wants to do this, she better do it right. Tough love. I know her heart is breaking. I'm so glad Steve is there for her. They will see her through the next few days and return home. This is so very sad.
So, please, say a little prayer for Wendy.
LYNNE2 you and your family are always in my thoughts I hope she gets the help she needs maybe this is a wake up call I can't get to sleep working till 7 and the time change has me all missed up LOL and forgot to take my TyPM
Oh, Lynne, I will definitely say a prayer for Wendy's soul and her will to live.
The good thing is this was really just a cry for help. Like you said before and so many have said, if they really want to do it they will.

LYNNE2, your last comments about Wendy are so upsetting! If the doctors deem, at the end of the 72 hour watch, that Wendy is a danger to herself, can't she be declared temporarily unable to make her own medical decisions so that her mom could be appointed as her guardian for a period of time? This girl has a death wish and there is NO way, as a mother, that I would be able to leave her and say, whatever happens happens and I hope she makes the right choice. Wendy is unable to make the right choice right now and 72 hours of therapy is not going to get her head where it needs to be! Tough love is fine for someone who is making poor choices but still has a will to live - Wendy doesn't! And suicide is a very selfish act - the person who dies has ended his/her pain, but those remaining live with the guilt! I would hate for Steve and his mom to have to live with wondering if they should have done something differently or done more. Please excuse me if I'm speaking out of turn, but I just had to say that. Steve and his family are in my thoughts and prayers!
Speaking of thoughts and prayers, hoping and praying that LYNN and KAY have better days today!

CHarlie is at least able to eat some, still looks likehe is ill and still very weak. We have a DR appt at 2pm today to see if we find out anything more. This dr visit stems from a december visit to the er as a follow up. Nonethe less with mom's oncology/ hematolgy dr. MTBD with that. Trying to remain positive!!

Candy, tori is amazed with how many prayers and people standing beside her, she knows how the momsters send their healing prayers but the people worldwide and so many she doesn't know.
Mom and dad will be here mid April for a few weeks, hopefully a nest visit while they are here or maybe just lunch.

Off for coffee and then to continue desperately trying to finish grading papers. I've been teaching for a long time and believe these papers are the worst I've ever seen. Either students don't care (maybe graduation looms larger)or I have serious concern for their ability to reason and communicate. Sorry for the rant. Very discouraged.

Cardinals, mourning doves, white-throated sparrows, chipping sparrows, song sparrows, house finches, Mr. Towhee, dark-eyed juncos, chickadees, titmice, robins, but no partridge.
So, unless I missed something with my speed reading, Shep has not fed the chicklet - I would LOVE to be watching the first time he tries!
SHARON, do you have a pear tree? If not, there will be no partridge! Sorry, those are the rules! Good that Nila has a relationship with God; He will help her with the journey.

So many eagle nests are in pine trees, where there are needles to offer some protection from snow in the winter and also offer shade as the temps go up. Poor Belle and Shep, incubating in this hot sun in March with no leaves on the sycamore!
