Well little one you have yourself one super MaMa Don't know if that counts as a first feeding BUT the offer was made a couple of times. Bless her heart.
LYNNE2, you are kidding!!!??? I never found it! Lucky you! Just click on snipping tool, left click and drag your cursor around what you want to snip, and when you pick your finger up, it takes a pic of whatever you just outlined. It's that simple! Was it in the accessories??
Good PAULA, to be waiting for the second egg to hatch. CONGRATULATIONS EVERYONE on the one hatch. Wonderful to see it and to know all is well with the nest.
I did get the video posted of Belle's first 10 minutes with her first eaglet. It is on my blog!!!
It youtube 30 minutes to upload my 10 minute video. Is that normal??
All new to me!!
I am recording this feeding, too!
I don't have sound, though. Something to do with the sound card and stereo mix not working with Windows 7 unless you have a dedicated sound card. Will have to look into that later!
Yes, sUSAn--It was my grandson, and I had not gotten a high chair for him. I made a quick stop at Walmart and took care of that after the bouncy feeding experience.
Sandi Glad you recorded the last feeding. I was busy uploading and remembering how to link the video I made of the first feeding a little while ago. Bobble head is fed for sure now. My link is here too back just a few minutes of post.
It IS fascinating to watch the huge bird so gently feed the tiny baby. Ever seen a Robin, or other small birds feed babies? LOL! It's like they are jamming down the throat!
LYNNE2, I never had a snipping tool right on the bottom tool bar. Either it appeared there when I reinstalled Windows and the drivers or Paula moved it there for you. I had enough time to reinstall Windows Vista, the drivers, Microsoft office 2007, and then download a couple of things for you, then I had to get everything into the car and drive to Salisbury to meet Paula. Once she got the computer home, she took care of all the Windows updates and also fine tuned some things, before bringing the computer to you. I'm delighted that you have the snipping tool thing - it's so handy!
Steve called a little while ago...they are waiting for the psychiatrist to come. He/she was supposed to be there at 5pm. He will let them know how the legally required 72 hour evaluation will work. Wendy is getting little in the way of sympathy, my MIL having told her in no uncertain terms what pain her actions have caused everyone. She actually had the audacity to ask her to go to her house and get her some clothes so she could leave the hospital! Not going to happen...there is an official guard of some sort now stationed in with her to make sure she doesn't attempt to leave.
When I came onto the blog in November, you all had narrowed the voting for "Spot's" new name down to two. But I wasn't on the blog to hear how you came up with possible names to start with. So, now that there is a new youngin', how does this group go about choosing a name for him/her?
My post of first feeding is at 7:04 for those who didn't get to see it live. I missed the beginning of the second feeding BUT I think someone said they were recording. Then got a phone call that local nest is hatching now too. I am a happy camper today.
Looks like I missed all the excitement of Belle's return. Hope that video is made available.
We saw action. We were working in the back yard, I heard something, looked up and a rs hawk flew low right over us carrying something. Maybe a small squirrel. Did not see clearly enough.
MARGY Thanks for the alert of Google I never look unless one of you say something
ROBYN its sure is amazing what the dr can do now days so happy she is doing soooooo goood Thanks goodness for science and all they are doing
LINDA hope your migraine goes away
SHIRLEY happy your appt at dentist went ok
HI JIM our weather is in the 80°nice and warm
SANDI AND LYNNE2 when Sandi made me aware of the snipping tool it asked it I wanted in the tool bar for easy access and i opted for it my dau has Window 7 and no tool bar to put on but I have Vista Look in your accessories like Sandi told me to do and it was there YEAH thanks SANDI
Hi Lynn you get some credit for seeing this post but so does that sweet little bobblehead on the nest. Oh and Dex is smelling and looking wonderful today too but I am his groomer. :-)
It's really been a good day for me. Thanks everyone. I really do love it here and honestly missed not being here. I am working it out and enjoying that new eaglet.
Sandi, as for names, we have sort of waited for their personalities to be shown to us. We usually do not name them right away, but sometimes we do. It just sort of developes. Make sense?
LOLLY I posted the Belles return at 754 for you If you all click on subscribe on these links you can also get them emailed and can unscribe anytime after also
I actually had a thought of a name. Developed from eggbert. I'm not sure this would be a popular offering, and would be in no way meant to offend, or upset anyone. Or to insult or minimize the great co-founder of this nest we all love, but who is no longer with us.
With the eggs being called Eggberts, I thought of Bert. It's probably a silly name for a great and majestic bird. But Bert is a part of the name Liberty. And these babies are not Lib's babies. But this is the nest that Lib built, and I feel that his spirit is still there. Nature took a cruel turn for him, and it rocked us to our souls. But we've all come to terms at last with what happened. And Lib still lives in all of our hearts. And now a new little baby has born born into the nest that Lib built. And so I thought maybe this would be a sort of way to honor his memory.
anyway, this is a sentimental event, bring back a lot of memories for me, and for all of us, I know. I really don't want this thought of mine to upset anyone. It truly has come from a special place in my heart. It's more about acceptance of life going on, while remembering a big part of it that isn't there any more.
I really don't care if the babies are name Spot and Puff, as long as things go well as we are all praying for. Just wanted to share my thoughts.
Windows is going to install some updates tonight and I just saw the IE9 listed on it so I just hide it from installing I think I have it set for 10 to do the updates so got to try to catch up but need to step away neck says so
I know, of course, that the babies haven't actually had names submitted in the past to be voted on, and as Lolly said, it's been sort of a wait and see sort of thing. Palmer being the exception, of course.
dark now at the nest. DANG! I need me some more baby eagle!
Hey DanaMO...I was reading back (at a VERY fast pace because there were so many posts today!) but I saw that you said something about a snipping tool issue with VISTA. I have VISTA on here, and it works!
that's nice, Lynne, very well put. I'm sure there are many special names that will come to mind for this one eaglet, or two if we are blessed with two, I see your post also Shar♥n
So as the Royal Baby settles in for its first night on the Planet, under the beautiful planets of Venus and Jupiter in the West and Mars in the East..... may he or she and its Royal Parents, and egglet sibling, have the perfect Royal Night
I love our new baby!!!! And I really am feeling sappy right now. Remembering just about this time last year. How hard it all was. How long it took to come to terms. But our "baby daddy" is showing his worth, isn't he!
SHARON, I also thought of Nila b/c of your comment earlier today about a new life to help you deal with losing your dear friend. And LYNNE2, your comment brought tears to my eyes. I think everyone here, at one point or another today, thought about what happened at this nest around this time last year. While I wasn't on the blog, i watched and I cried. I also love your idea of Bert for a name.
on that note, I'm off to watch Survivor! It's been a great day in Momster and Dadster land!
oh geez, just got dive bombed by a STINKBUG. I'm going to call him Spitz, after Mark Spitz (hubba hubba!!) because he is going swimming...in the SPECIAL pool!
Tough times Sharon prayers for you and your friend. Magpie Tomorrow is my neighbors anniversay. About 42 years is my guess but I will know for sure tomorrow.
I am all caught up wow lots to read but done for the day I wonder if I can talk Jordyn in to staying home tomorrow I doubt it huh ok never did go to the chair wanted to finish what I started now its chair time BBIALW
EGG ROLL and or feeding to dark to tell but she is up I am putting the two tiny video I took on my blog nothing like the professional did just with my camera dorky me
We have not ever had a voting on eaglets names.... The Female and the Male parents are the names on which we have voted.
It is wise to watch the eaglets grow and see their character and then usually the name someone says just takes hold and that is what we refer to as we post on the blog.
Other sites when names are to be suggested will encouraged not to use gender names.
I am just saying what has been done in the past. Ways can always be changed. ♥
I broke down and bought me a new house phone today couldn't read the displays on both phones odd how they both went at the same time about 6 months ago The cool thing is its as the same wall mount so I don't have to do any new screws on wall Lucked out on that one Did ya see the lights again on the nest a few seconds ago as I was typing must be security or car
can't do anything to the phone for 10hrs needs fully charged odd the batterys did light up both hand sets so they must have some charge in them OK back to TV Belle looks resting again
well, I have a conundrum for Friday. I'll be gone at least 11 hours. This is not a good situation for the dogs. Good chance of thunderstorms. Trying to decide if I should take my chances and leave the dogs home that long alone, or take them to work where they will have to spend the day in kennels. UGH.
Puddles will bark the whole time. Daisy will be very stressed to the max if it storms. I am leaning towards leaving them home. They've been 10 and a half hours with no accidents in the house. I just hate to do that to them. Daisy will still be stressed at home with storms, but at least she'll be in her own home. An accident in the house wouldn't be the end of the world.
No JudyE, but....the dog trainer I used when I got Daisy and her baggage has offered to sell me one for her at an extremely low cost, and just as soon as I can, I will get her one. She's come a long way, for sure! The trainer gave us some very good help. I can cut her nails now, by myself with no drama, and she even lets me clean her ears now too!
BTW, regarding the Crossley Bird ID book....WOW, I love it! I have learned so much. I never knew we had Fish Crows in this area...more common closer to the water, but still....and who knew there was a goose that is almost identical to the Canada goose around here! It's called a Cackling Goose, and it's smaller. Just when ya think you know....
It's so sad when dogs are so afraid. Daisy, who I loving call "you big dumb dog" is so smart...even if it's not storming yet, or even close, or even if it's just a test of the emergency broadcasting system, if she hears the BEEEEP BEEEEP BEEEEEP warning on the TV or radio, she immediately goes to one of her "safe" places!
well, I'm off to shower. What an exciting wonderful emotional day! Can't wait to see Baby Bobble in the AM!!! So glad I don't have to go in til noon tomorrow!
Odd thing with that when my Vista mess up the symbol takes on a world of its own I have had the snowman cam symbol and the hummingbird symbol on the blogger it all depend on what I am watching when my vista blue circle spins and the screen turns ghost with and them it all changes I have to run Norton to make it back to normal I think it has a lot to do with COOKIES that is the only thing that Norton finds I know I have mentioned that in the past Odd but I did figure it out
See ya in the am ☼ at Sycamore Sunrise Cyber Cafe God Bless this Nest and all ♀ ♥ ♂ whom watch it at Sycamore Palace Healing thoughts for those in need

Bobblehead was pooped after trying to get the first bite. Face plant. Belle is getting back on her little family.
oh well....looks like dinner is over! Did you see him moving??? So strong!
That was beautiful. I tried to snippit a pic but didn't get it.
Good for you, Shirley! I have been so mesmerized that I have completely forgotten about taking any pics!!
Well little one you have yourself one super MaMa Don't know if that counts as a first feeding BUT the offer was made a couple of times. Bless her heart.
Hey Sandi, there is a snipping tool on here....I have yet to figure out how to use it!
I see GLO!!! Saw Carol WV was here, and PattiO, too...so nice to see everyone again!
and LYNN!!
Ohhhh so happy to see an eaglet in the nest. Two will be icing on this very good cake!
:)
That little bobblehead is already trying to escape out the front. Belle covered her with hay. hahaha
uh, Belle, you are blocking our view of the bobblebert. And the eggbert.
What's with all that flugg!!
Lynne, just fire up the snipping tool! click on new, and snip away.
LYNNE2, you are kidding!!!??? I never found it! Lucky you! Just click on snipping tool, left click and drag your cursor around what you want to snip, and when you pick your finger up, it takes a pic of whatever you just outlined. It's that simple! Was it in the accessories??
nitey nite nappy time!
I feel pretty confident this is chick #1!! Waiting on chick #2
Was at dryer
Did baby eat much?
We should see another chick tomorrow or Friday!
LOL Sandi! it's right here on the bottom toolbar! Thanks, I got it now!
Not sure if baby caught a bite or not BUT Belle did attempt to feed twice. It may have gotten a taste of food.
Lynne, check your voice mail at home.
got it Paula, calling now....
Thanks Glo
Paula, agree. I'm going for tomorrow. I like to play the guessing game. lol
In as many eggs as I've seen hatch in my 5 years of watching nest cams, there are never two alike. So great to see.
Glo, I think she got one bite with a lot of effort.
Good PAULA, to be waiting for the second egg to hatch. CONGRATULATIONS EVERYONE on the one hatch.
Wonderful to see it and to know all is well with the nest.
☺
Ok folks, I am heading out for a little while...BBL
I see the little one bobbing around in the cup.
Belle shaking.
Oh, she is feeding again!
All right, feeding time again.
Bobbleheads sure are bobbly and hard to feed. lol
The little guy is catching on that this eating thing is okay.
Well, I remember trying to feed a baby in a bouncy seat. Finally went out and bought a real high chair.
That was a good bite.
This is just precious!!
I did get the video posted of Belle's first 10 minutes with her first eaglet. It is on my blog!!!
It youtube 30 minutes to upload my 10 minute video. Is that normal??

Snapped at that bit of food! Yummy fish!
Mama Belle offering food to new eaglet
Shirley, that a funny picture. A moving target.
It is always a thrill to watch that big, powerful bird gently feeding a tiny helpless chick.
That is one experienced and patient Momma who is going to make sure that little one is fed.
This is a great feeding session for a bobblehead just over three hours old.
YAY!!
I finally got to see the bobblehead
It's going to be hard to even SEE that second egg
starlings make some beautiful sounds at the nest

I'm sure it doesn't hurt the little baby birds being fed like that. Nature wouldn't allow it. It just looks so brutal to US!
Hi Margy's sister it is ok if you just watch. Welcome (:
I think Lynn's porn shop was looking like a tail for some the other night. It takes on a glow in the moonlight.
Phone just rang. The nest I can get to to photograph some is also Hatching right now. sumriver.org. I am so glad they got that cam back on.
LYNN, Leisl will be strutting her stuff later after she rests. They always seem to know they are looking good. lol
Steve called a little while ago...they are waiting for the psychiatrist to come. He/she was supposed to be there at 5pm. He will let them know how the legally required 72 hour evaluation will work. Hedgie, porn shop at 4 o'clock position? LOL. I saw it as soon as you said it! :)
Nothing like a beautiful bobblehead eaglet to bring us all out on the blog!
My post of first feeding is at 7:04 for those who didn't get to see it live. I missed the beginning of the second feeding BUT I think someone said they were recording. Then got a phone call that local nest is hatching now too. I am a happy camper today.

there I go reading backwards LOL
I know, of course, that the babies haven't actually had names submitted in the past to be voted on, and as Lolly said, it's been sort of a wait and see sort of thing. Palmer being the exception, of course.
Sharon, Nila would be a beautiful name with meaning. Got my vote.
Lynne 2 It's indeed a special thought from a special place in your heart. All our hearts do indeed hear you.
dark now at the nest. DANG! I need me some more baby eagle!
Hey DanaMO...I was reading back (at a VERY fast pace because there were so many posts today!) but I saw that you said something about a snipping tool issue with VISTA. I have VISTA on here, and it works!
Thanks! Have gone to see one video. Now to go eat dinner. I'll be back!
Likely, the first bobblehead will be a girl and second, hopefully, a boy. We could use both Nila and Bert.
that's nice, Lynne, very well put.
I'm sure there are many special names that will come to mind for this one eaglet, or two if we are blessed with two,
I see your post also Shar♥n
So as the Royal Baby settles in for its first night on the Planet, under the beautiful planets of Venus and Jupiter in the West and Mars in the East.....

Lynne that sure brought tears to my eyes.
I think Bert is a good name, of course I also like Victory :-)
Just talked with Nila's sister. She can't see anymore. :(

I think everyone here, at one point or another today, thought about what happened at this nest around this time last year. While I wasn't on the blog, i watched and I cried. Thank you, JudyE.
Belle has fidgeted to 9:30 or 10.
We have not ever had a voting on
eaglets names.... The Female and the Male parents are the names on which we have voted.
It is wise to watch the eaglets grow
and see their character and then usually the name someone says just takes hold and that is what we refer to as we post on the blog.
Other sites when names are to be
suggested will encouraged not to
use gender names.
I am just saying what has been done in the past. Ways can always be changed. ♥
Lynne - Sharon Both your thoughts
are beautiful.....
Sharon - peace to you and Family members of Nila as she finds her Peace.
I'm thinking that the voting on names gets pretty complicated. Let's see what develops.
MEMA JO You are a very wise Lady Ma'am!!! I agree with your post on names.
Too dark to see who or what....
Has been a wonderful day
Taking a TV break

whatching or listenint to Idol now and need to read on the phone to learn how to set it up BBL
Lynne2: That was a BEAUTIFUL and thoughtful thing to say - Liberty♥

Belle is awake and moving a little looking down. Hopefully resting.

untill she bends down like now
Stuffed from dinner and now watchin AI.
Lynn, glad you were on several times today. Hope you felt a wee bit better as the day progressed.
Up for an egg roll, I think. Can't see details.
♫ Shine little glo-Belle, glimmer, glimmer♫
Belle is back down at 8:30. Can't see her tail. Make that 9.
well, I have a conundrum for Friday. I'll be gone at least 11 hours. This is not a good situation for the dogs. Good chance of thunderstorms. Trying to decide if I should take my chances and leave the dogs home that long alone, or take them to work where they will have to spend the day in kennels. UGH.
Kennals. You can keep an eye and check on them. They will love the company, right?
Puddles will bark the whole time. Daisy will be very stressed to the max if it storms. I am leaning towards leaving them home. They've been 10 and a half hours with no accidents in the house. I just hate to do that to them. Daisy will still be stressed at home with storms, but at least she'll be in her own home. An accident in the house wouldn't be the end of the world.
do you have the thunder shirt thingy for them
Belle is moving again
No JudyE, but....the dog trainer I used when I got Daisy and her baggage has offered to sell me one for her at an extremely low cost, and just as soon as I can, I will get her one. She's come a long way, for sure! The trainer gave us some very good help. I can cut her nails now, by myself with no drama, and she even lets me clean her ears now too!
I hear ya, Lynne2. I had a shepherd that was so afraid of storms. Home inside is where she wanted to be.
Belle is awake and looking around. Now abiut half tucked toward 10.
OMG!
There's a chick and it already ate?
Thanks for the video presentation.
Hello Chick and Egg fans!
Gee.
What a day!
Yes BEagle!!! It's true! WOO HOOOOO!
So glad I don't have to go in til noon tomorrow!
.
I love how her head glows I put a picture on FB and the ablum of it She is a glowing new mommy
I just watched the feeding video. Thanks for posting it!
Bobble Bobble.
My co-workers will be on it all day tomorrow. :)
oh, by the way, our new Bobblehead shares a birthday with....
1804 Johann Strauss, violinist and composer.
1833 Lucy Hobbs Taylor, first woman dentist.
1864 Casey Jones, railroad engineer.
1879 Eggbert Einstein, German-born mathematician best known for his theories on relativity. (oops, I mean ALBERT!)
1934 Eugene Cernan, American astronaut, the last man on the moon
just occurs to me that everyone's avatar has a frame around it now.
Love the birthday sharing with our eggbert to cute LYNNE2
wait a minute...did we always have that little orange square with the white B for blogger logo next to our names?? I think not....
Eggbert Einstien funny
Yep that is the Blogger symbol
It should also be in your search box
No way....I don't ever remember seeing that there by the names before. And those frames around the avatars are new, too.
Einstein is a good name.
Thanks for the B/D rundown Lynne2.
Time to hit the hay.
Goodnight and good prayers.

Our blog is educational, as well as entertaining!!!

Odd thing with that when my Vista mess up the symbol takes on a world of its own I have had the snowman cam symbol and the hummingbird symbol on the blogger it all depend on what I am watching when my vista blue circle spins and the screen turns ghost with and them it all changes I have to run Norton to make it back to normal I think it has a lot to do with COOKIES that is the only thing that Norton finds I know I have mentioned that in the past Odd but I did figure it out
If you go back days its the same look
