Thanks for the call over, Margy and thanks Steve for the new thread. I see you are behaving Margy. LOL
Time for me to start my day. I did a lot of clean up yesterday, though I did plant basil in the herb garden. Think I will venture out to buy some new plants today. ☺ Jack will be working on the fence. I would like to mow but it is still too wet and we have more rain coming. Can you believe it?!!
My cam is back - Shep should turn his head because the little explorer behind him is on the move... Both are up and wide awake - Could they be hungry -- again?
Sharon - you think I better put my shoes on and be ready to quickly drive over and pick 'brat' up off the ground. Shep seems unaware of his whereabouts..
Wow, haven't had ANY time to read or watch today and you folks are relly rollin' on this new thread already!! Still no time to catch up, just subscribing so the comments come to my inbox. Later!!
I will go to noon yoga today and so will not be on for log. I am caught up with the blog. LOLLY amazing about the teache rwho donated a kidney to the father...so here is an instance KAY where kidney donation is NOT gender specific. An incredible person this teacher is.
Great raffle item JUDYE. Thanks for donating it.
Indeed a lbour of love CAROLANNE. Thank you for the work on the cookbook.
Looks like you all have had a bit of a cardiac work out. Sounds like all is well enough now though. Dex and i had a short walk at the Marina. We always stay pretty close to the car now. Just how it is these days.
Whoa, just had a long, rockin' couple of thunderstorms here! Dalai may need a thundershirt. Hard to nap with her barking like that. She doesn't seem scared and she doesn't shake, though.
Good Afternoon ! Love seeing a peaceful nest. Can't tell what that fluttery thing behind Belle is ??? Look at that pantry ! Shep is one heck of a provider !
Have skimmed a bit, but will have to go back later for details. Best thing I see is that you are blogging LYNN ! So happy you are at least doing well enough to visit with us ! ☺
The raffle items are lookin' good ! Nice tree, JUDY.
Skipped the Percocet last night, but woke up in agony about 3 a.m., so too soon to give it up. Doing okay today and will be able to go to a condo association election meeting tonight.
Have a couple of things to do and hope to BBL ! ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
Just saw a little tail wiggle from the eldest...eldest on left, or closer to the cam now....think little one is going to pass out closest to Mom....boy looks at those crops...they are stuffed.
Just did a garden tour - my favorite time of year after Christmas - and my peonies did fine in the frost, but it sure got my hydrangeas. Happy that my wild dogwood is blooming this year!
LOLLY, don't envy you planting four flats of begonias!
PAULA, did you get those nasty thunderstorms over in your part of town?
Had to have 2 basal cells removed - both on my lower back. No idea how many stitches I have but the bandages are huge!!
Lynn, happy to see you on the blog today and feeling perky, not puny!
Kay, sorry about the pain during the night!
Judy - what a cute raffle item!! Something told me you would never be able to keep it a secret!! ;)
Thelma, you crack me up!!!
Babies sure look healthy and happy! Glad the "drama" earlier was short-lived!
No rain here yet but it's clouding up. 71 degrees right now - LOVE it!!
Lynn, my dogwoods will probably be blooming in another week - everything is so early! Bought potting soil for my 6 window boxes today. Local nursery lady has a workshop the last Thursday in March where folks can bring 4 pots, plant them with her annuals, and then she keeps them in her greenhouse til mid-April. She lets me do all 6 of my window boxes with impatiens.
OK. I made my was over here now. Thanks to the "momsters" for all the warm welcomes to their group. It seems everytime I've checked the cam today I see more fish.:-) I'm on vacation this week and hope to go fishing at Dam #4 and maybe see the nest from the road...hopefully tomorrow. Looks the nest weathered the storm that passed through a little earlier. Thanks again and take care.
Trying to come to terms with not being able to please everyone! It's been a long day and I continue to think about the survey comment I wrote about this morning. I wish I didn't dwell on stuff so much!
Sharon, I was thinking the same thing. He tends to get stuck in one mode!!
Lori, Some of my basal cells have been frozen off with liquid nitrogen, others have just been "burned" off, and some have required stitches. These 2 both happened to require stitches. It is what it is - they're all my fault!
Hi Jerry and welcome, or is it welcome back?? If you need fishing tips, talk to Shep! He can DO fishing!! :)
Hi Jerry - It's a shame the Shep can't lead you to his fishing spot. He has really brought in some large fish. Some of the fish he brings in are still flapping
OK. I'm gonna join in when I can and probably get to know everyone a little better and chat even more. I'll post some more details about me from time to time as well. I think I found a really good place here and don't want to mess it up. I've got to go for the vening and will get back on some tomorrow. Do you wait untill there is a new daily thread or does this one stay active past today?
Sometimes we get a new thread daily and other times a day will go by. We fill them up quite a bit as we are a chatty bunch. Usually someone posts that a new thread it up and we all go running over.
DanaMO, how about the old reliable volcano? Is is vinegar and baking soda? Anyone else remember making one of those? You make a volcano out of ummmm.... flour and water, form it around a tube, then pour the vinegar and soda in there, don't forget the red food coloring....and it all foams up and out of the tube like lava flowing....
OMG, there is a squirrel sitting right outside my sunroom window with his entire head stuck inside of an empty peanut butter jar!!! He must have gotten it from someone's trash! HILARIOUS! Of course, my camera is dead so no pic!! Back to work for me!
Now I too am worried about the squirrel...he can not be stuck inside of a peanut butter jar the rims are wide are they not?
A fish an hour and they are huge fish...way to go Shep and thanks for keeping tabs SHARON...
LYNN I got my appointment for an echo echo w doppler, would that be the cat scan???if not what is it...I will go google it too so I could see if Iu nderstand what they say...I have a two month wait Sharon so it is on May 28th
Did well with yoga today and very much enjoyed being back in the class...
Yes the chicklets are getting huge, I honestly fancy that I see a difference every day.
Belle has some loose white feathers on her left wing...
Kay, sorry your night wasn't good. :( Puny day here today...weak and antsy again, and don't know why. Can't sit still but can't walk much either. ARGH!
Welcome, Jerry,
Sandi, glad you got those basal cells off sooner rather than later!
Paula, remember the volcanos well! I've made/helped make several!
Sharon and Paula, Guess I used the wrong word! I meant stuck as in they (eventually there were 2 of them) had their entire head down inside the jar all the way to the bottom of it, but NO, their heads were not STUCK in the jar. They had a great time chasing one another through the woods stealing the jar from one another - amazing how fast they could run with a jar in their mouths!! Squirrels, ya gotta love em!! They may be pests at the bird feeders but they are so entertaining to watch!!
I wonder if the female imtruder is back??? I thought it and I know it is speculation but it is twice today we had an upset with the eagles...JO gave the first warning earlier and now this... Could all this food be attracting other eagles??
Shep is digging in the cup and eaglet tries to escape!!!LOL!!!
DANAMO you are a professional teacher with VERY HIGH STANDARDS and it is bewildering to me that you would feel questioned abut standards. To me this is a reflection on the one questioning not on your standards...so my response to your last post on standards and meeting the requirments is OF CoURSE YOU HAVE AND YOU DO...we would all tell you the same thing...Danamo= Highest of Standards...
For those who missed it here is Belle being upset and intruder is chased away as she takes off...Video compliments of Debseagle of Hancock Foundation.Beele upset and takes off after an intruder
DMo, Doesn't matter how many times we say it, you'll still have trouble letting go of something you consider to be a criticism. It is the nature of most teachers to be perfectionists and to have pretty thin skins when we are criticized. I remember that, during one of my very first observations, my VP commented that I had left my cleanser out on the sink and all of my venetian blinds were not open to the same height. At the time, I was beside myself! Now I would say, "If that's the only thing you can think of to criticize, I must have taught one damn good lesson!!
Try to let it go! Katie Couric said, "You can't please everyone, and you can't make everyone like you!"
No JO I have not yet found any videos of the 12:08 intruder incident today...I am still searching...
Glad to see a family feeding.
Enjoy chinese food and friends PAUlA.
I booked my hotel room for both going and coming back this summer...I will be able to leave my car there for the time that I am gone and I will take a shuttle to and from their airport...Good service.
AH HA! I'm not the only one who posted on the wrong thread! YAY ANDY! Bringing this over for her...
Ms Bookworm
6:45 PM (40 minutes ago)
to me Ms Bookworm has left a new comment on the post "Tuesday":
Hi, Gang, Just got caught up, and Kubby is now home from work, so can't stay here for more than a minute or two right now.
Lynn, SO glad you slept in today, and seem to be feeling better!! That makes my day! Love you! Prayers continue for you...
Hoda, I wish we could turn on the A/C here in SoCal, but we don't have any! Since it keeps getting hotter and hotter here during the summer, we figure that Texas WITH A/C might actually be livable. Our cars have A/C, and everywhere we'd go would have A/C, so we might just survive.
Gotta run--Will bbl, after dinner. Hope everyone is having a good day!

Thanks for the call over, Margy and thanks Steve for the new thread. I see you are behaving Margy. LOL
Time for me to start my day. I did a lot of clean up yesterday, though I did plant basil in the herb garden. Think I will venture out to buy some new plants today. ☺
Jack will be working on the fence. I would like to mow but it is still too wet and we have more rain coming. Can you believe it?!!
Shep is facing to the rt and has an eaglet in front of him, however there is another eaglet behind him too close to the rails. Yikes!
I really need to get with it.
Well, drat, just lost the cam.
Guess that is my signal to leave.
Have a great day!
Thank you Steve and for the call over
Thank you Margy
Lost my cam as some of you also may have but I see the notice under the cam
Live EagleCam
There may be intermittent outages on Wed, Mar 28, from 10:00am-1:00pm EDT. Thank you
My cam is back -
Shep should turn his head because the
little explorer behind him is on the
move... Both are up and wide awake - Could they be hungry -- again?
Waiting at dentist's.
Oh my goodness, that brat needs to back up a little bit.
Momster email has April Birthdays and their email addresses............
11th Paula Compton
19th Diann O'Donnell
23rd Anne Marie Larsen
27th Donna Cox
29th Ophelia Thompson
You may not remember some of the
Momsters listed but a B-day wish could
encourage them to come back!
Sharon - you think I better put my shoes on and be ready to quickly drive
over and pick 'brat' up off the ground.
Shep seems unaware of his whereabouts..
Yes, get your shoes on, Jo and have car keys located! Remember to put your emergency blinkers on as you speed over the mountain!!!
I think that surely the railing is not as comfy as the flugg.
I can't imagine that the railing is at
all comfy. Hoping that Belle may fly in
for their feeding.
oh no Is that a danger call
BIG TROUBLE AT THE NEST
Belle has come into the nest
Eaglets still sleeping
Shep is the one who flew out after
something
I'm watching....
can see but not hear the calling out
Shadow of a fly over
Don't need this DRAMA
Calm right now at the nest but I wish Shep would return.....
all seems calm
just checking in from work
calm enough to feed and eat, guess that is somewhat reassuring
Leave for a sec!!! And, all heck breaks loose.
Going to walk now....I'll be watching!
Both peaglets are awake
(I think that is their nickname)
Belle has found a fish to feed on
Little ones are watching... and waiting
Hi Margy and Lynne....
Love the way the little ones can now
balance themselves in a sitting position
Belle hasn't been eating or feeding
as she is on the rail around noon.
Little ones are being very patient..
GOOD AFTERNOON...
Watching the little (?) ones right now and it is making my heart sing...you all know why. We have been so blessed!
Getting ready to take GG to her doctor. Hope he can give a reason for her not feeling well~
Good luck with GG's appointment.
Hope she gets all 'fixed up'
Shirley was sitting in the Dental office earlier.
I think the clouds are passing through some and making some shadow images on the nest also
xo Hello again to many and I must start typing on other keyboard for awhile
Thanks, Margy for the call over.
I sent Steve an email about the still cam.

Looks like you all have had a bit of a cardiac work out. Sounds like all is well enough now though. Dex and i had a short walk at the Marina. We always stay pretty close to the car now. Just how it is these days.
I think we may have a thunder storm brewing
Sounds overhead Belle the good Mumbrella is with them. They are both still sleeping sounding No rain drops yet
Belle is tenting
Well, that looks nasty at the nest. Mumbrella happening.
Hmmm, something fluttering at the top of the cam pic...must be something on the cam
Sounds fierce Winds is high
Pray it blows over.......
Just came in and I could hear the wind on the cam across the room. Hang on Belle! Stay seated on those eaglets!
Just bought 4 flats of begonias. This is just the beginning. Got my work cut out for me.
Back later!
Hang on Belleeeeeeeee!!!!!!!
Shep in with another fish.
Glad you pointed that out, Sharon. Would have missed it with all those fish in the nest, even though this one is in plain view!
I have been looking for Lynn
I found her over on the Older thread

More like a Boris
Taking a break BBILW
Whoa, just had a long, rockin' couple of thunderstorms here! Dalai may need a thundershirt. Hard to nap with her barking like that. She doesn't seem scared and she doesn't shake, though.

Hi LYNN!
So funny to look at the nest now &
think of all the worries we had about
Shep being a good provider!
Feeding time at the zoo again!!! They are getting so big!
Ah, Kay! Dang it. So sorry you're in such pain. Are you going tomorrow for another shot, or did I just imagine that?
Looks like a small flower petal or something stuck in the cam or a web around the cam
See the flies are out today...sun shining on the nest!
Both chicks getting a good meal.
Sometimes they look so different in size, other times they look much closer in size.
Just saw a little tail wiggle from the eldest...eldest on left, or closer to the cam now....think little one is going to pass out closest to Mom....boy looks at those crops...they are stuffed.
Just did a garden tour
- my favorite time of year
after Christmas - and my
peonies did fine in the frost,
but it sure got my hydrangeas.
Happy that my wild dogwood is
blooming this year!
LOLLY, don't envy you planting
four flats of begonias!
PAULA, did you get those nasty
thunderstorms over in your part
of town?
Sure did, Lori....of course it poured just as I was heading out to the bank and other errands ☺
Chicklets splayed out in the cup, sleeping...oh look at those cute little feeties...
Another fish, wow!
Hi all - home and caught up!
Shep in with - guess what???? These are gonna be the fattest eaglets on the east coast!
That's alot of fish!
OR our nest is going to be One Fertilized area that will grow anything.

Local nursery lady has a workshop the last Thursday in March where folks can bring 4 pots, plant them with her annuals, and then she keeps them in her greenhouse til mid-April. Home from school.
Look at that little one go.
Trying to come to terms with not being able to please everyone! It's been a long day and I continue to think about the survey comment I wrote about this morning. I wish I didn't dwell on stuff so much!
Well hello Jerry. Welcome!
Oh Sandi! I guess it's better to have them removed, but geez 2 of them with big band-aides!
Sandi, do you always have stitches when
they remove them? Or were these just
larger than usual? Hope you have a
quick healing!
Lord, that child brought in another fish.
Yay! Hello Jerry!
Hi all. My cam viewer seems to be stuck...maybe problem with my computer here. Just warn everyone now my typing isn't very good.
Cam usually stops at 14:59 and you need to hit play. Not sure why it happens but it happens to everyone.
Are those peaglets eating again? ☺
I see Shep is eating at 6 as well.
Thanks...I'll try that now.
Hi Jerry!
Do you think you can catch as many fish as Shep? ☺
OK, I have an IEP to finish tonight so I'll be here, but lurking!
Thanks Dana..got it going now. Yeah Sandi...I am enviuos of his fishing. I'll try and not intrude too much on your chatting.
Paula - I doubt it haven't got on the board this year yet.
Belle poofed
chicks up by the rails
Jerry, chime in any time! This blog is for everyone! Good luck fishing!
Jerry, you are not intruding on our chatting. Chat with us!
Have fun Sandi, I'm going to go write some science and social studies lesson plans!
Sharon, I swear, every time I walk away from the computer, I come back and you have posted that Shep brought yet another fish!
Hi Jerry - It's a shame the Shep can't lead you to his fishing spot. He has
really brought in some large fish.
Some of the fish he brings in are still
flapping
DanaMO, isn't the cam science???
Jerry, when a new thread is found, someone posts in on the old thread and we move over.
Paula, it is too funny how many fish he has brought in today.
Sometimes we get a new thread daily and other times a day will go by. We fill them up quite a bit as we are a chatty bunch. Usually someone posts that a new thread it up and we all go running over.
Thanks Sharon. Be back tomorrow. Enjoy yor evenings.
Ya think Paula??? Eagle/science. I don't know what these parents want. Exploding beakers in Kindergarten???
I count 4 fish since 1 o'clock. One an hour.
Welcome and have a good evening, Jerry! I'll bet you see Shep fishing tomorrow!
DanaMo Are you hatching eggs for the
kids in class? I'm thinking you have done this before..
My deleted I stuttered
DanaMO, how about the old reliable volcano? Is is vinegar and baking soda? Anyone else remember making one of those? You make a volcano out of ummmm.... flour and water, form it around a tube, then pour the vinegar and soda in there, don't forget the red food coloring....and it all foams up and out of the tube like lava flowing....
Belle in with a bale of hay.
OMG, there is a squirrel sitting right outside my sunroom window with his entire head stuck inside of an empty peanut butter jar!!! He must have gotten it from someone's trash! HILARIOUS! Of course, my camera is dead so no pic!! Back to work for me!
Oh Lord, Shep just flew out. Another fish delivery in 15.
Sandi, I hope its head is not "stuck" stuck in there, is it?
You know, sometimes silence is not so golden.
Yes, I get my chick eggs when we come back from Spring Break.
Taking a break for dinner
BBL
Ad on the OD channel for "pro bass fishing on steroids"...hmm how about eagle fishing on steroids?
I need to go fix a cup of tea...
Kay, sorry your night wasn't good. :(
Puny day here today...weak and antsy again, and don't know why. Can't sit still but can't walk much either. ARGH!
Welcome, Jerry,
Sandi, glad you got those basal cells off sooner rather than later!
Paula, remember the volcanos well! I've made/helped make several!
I saw that PAULA and wondered who exactly was on steroids the bass or the fisherman!!!LOL
PAULA thanks for telling STEVE about the still cam being caput!!!
Do you all think it is too early to book my hotel room for June and July?I keep thinking I must do so today...LOL what do you think?
Sharon and Paula, Guess I used the wrong word! I meant stuck as in they (eventually there were 2 of them) had their entire head down inside the jar all the way to the bottom of it, but NO, their heads were not STUCK in the jar. They had a great time chasing one another through the woods stealing the jar from one another - amazing how fast they could run with a jar in their mouths!! Squirrels, ya gotta love em!! They may be pests at the bird feeders but they are so entertaining to watch!!
IEP DONE!!! Time to fix dinner! BBL!
OH LYNN sorry you are not settled...are you keeping your food down?
echo echo w doppler is to measure blood flow is what I understand from googling...hm how is this connected to being short of breath?
An echo with Doppler is just like an ultrasound of the heart. Kind of resembles Doppler radar for weather. Different colors mean different things.
Could someone tell me where the peaglets are? Under Belle I hope?
Hoda, if it would make you feel better to get your reservations, I say go for it.
If your heart is not pumping correctly, it can't get the proper amount of oxygen going so as to not get short of breath.
I see the hint of one at Belle's right foot.
45 minutes and still no fish. Where are you Shep?
Belle is calling out.
Not good someone is bothering BELLE!!! Crying out
Oh my!!! Someone is upset!
I don't see anything, but boy she wants Shep to return!
See both babies now and she flew out of the nest at the launch pad.
Somebody just landed at 11 o'clock. Not sure who yet. Those babies are out.
Poof BELLE.
Thank you SHARON for the Doppler thing.
I will phone and make my reservations too...
Eagle in at ten...can not tell who
And is that food under the right foot?
DUH, I was posting the action...ON THE WRONG THREAD
was wondering why I was the only one hearing the drama....
Evening all.
LYNN, I remember when Perry had chemo, he got
that antsy feeling a lot. Can't they give you some Lorazepam for it, or something to help?
Shep.
it's Shep
Shep is in the nest from the railing
Welcome to the new thread Lynne! :)
looking all around.
Thank you Sharon. Hello, my name is Lynne and my favorite color is CLEAR.
LOL!
at the rate these monsters are growing, the cam will need to be zoomed out pretty soon!
and just look at all the food....It's "the Fish for the Belly Delly"!!
eminent danger must be passed, he's fussing with some nestovers.
ah, the babes hear the sound of ripping fish...they are alert now!
wow, that wind is crazy!
Well not sure what the problem was but all appears quiet now.
Shep looks like he wants to tuck the chicks in.
Yup, we have some web strings across the nest
LOL, he's tossing fluff on them
Babies are zonked and Shep is chowing down!
Stopping in for a moment. Hunter has just gotten a link new math game from at school and he wants to play on my computer. I will come back later.
He is very into this new game.
Go Hunter!! Gotta love a boy who gets excited about math games!!
Just looked up all the standards and objectives for Science and Social Studies and I have done everything that I was supposed to do!
Am I OCD??? LOL!
Care to share the website Shirely?
Maybe I should just shut up and have a beer!
Good on you DanaMO...we knew you were up to par! Enjoy the beer!

I wished Belle would come back.
Yes, Lori, on the Valium since MOnday, and it worked fine then and yesterday........hmmmmm.
Chick sitting up while Shep eats some fish with his back to the chicks...looks like the chicklet swallowed a golf ball, lol
Of course, I'm sure those peaglets are ready for a bedtime snack!
For those who missed it here is Belle being upset and intruder is chased away as she takes off...Video compliments of Debseagle of Hancock Foundation.Beele upset and takes off after an intruder

Heading over to a friends for awhile with some Chinese food...later!
You guys are the best, thanks.
Camera shook and in comes Belle.
Shep is feeding.
Belle goes to eleven and gets a fish and she too is chowing down now.
I guess that was the 6:02pm (Belle) and also the
12:08pm (Shep) Intruder Twice today...
Hoda did you find any videos for the
12:08pm intruder ......
Too much drama for one day
Time for a beer and bath! Annemarie is using my computer so I guess I will have to work from my phone!
Very well said SANDI to DANAMO...
AH HA! I'm not the only one who posted on the wrong thread! YAY ANDY!
Bringing this over for her...

to me
Ms Bookworm has left a new comment on the post "Tuesday":
Hi, Gang,
Just got caught up, and Kubby is now home from work, so can't stay here for more than a minute or two right now.
Uo OH!!! Belle tracks and takes off again!
Chicklets untended
SPLIT Don't get lost
In comes Shep again on the railing at four...
