Thanks, Sharon! I♥U! When I clicked on Subscribe, I got a message that I was already subscribed - we must have been on the same wavelength at the same moment - SCARY thought!! =)
Happy, sunny, windy Thursday! Been watching the nest and Shep was digging in the bowl and chicklets were up on the edge.Hope he finishes so they can get out of the wind. They are growing like weeds! Yes the "flapper" is a little annoying.Must be some debris stuck on a Spidey web strand. Got stuff to do around here & go to store. Good day to all, especially Lynn ☺ ♥
Next weekend, April 7, is Andrew and Kelsey's wedding shower for the folks in the Charleston area. We are going to have them one here in May. Andrew wants to be there to help open presents! :) They registered at Walmart, Elder Beerman and Royal Caribbean.
Enjoy your time with CAROLYN and CHRISTIE LYNN. It was good to read your posts this morning on the blog. You sound with energy.
HAPPY BIRTHDYA ANDREW.
Good morning all.
The wedding will be very exciting SHARON...Make sure you take lots of pictures of the shower coming up and have someone take pictures of you too...I wuld love to see you in your new outfits...such a good choice...
Looks like my fishing plans are a "no go". Can't get my son motivated, would take my wife along but she's got to babysit and I don't want to go by myself. Got some work to do around house anyways. Looks really windy at nest. Might sound kinda dumb but it looks like the eaglets could either blow out or fall out especially if unattended. We'll try and get out fishing Saturday and Sunday. Playing golf tomorrow and my wife and I are going to get my paycheck and hit some thrift stores. That's become our hobby lately. Take care and enjoy the cam and blog. I'll check back in Saturday for sure.
JUDIE Janets said "we worked on a science project this weekend and livvy WON the fifth grade portion of it. shocked us! it certainly wasn't a super detailed project and we put it together over the weekend...but wow. won a $25 gift card t oitunes. now she needs an ipod...lol birthdays....
I have the saddest picture We were at Freedom park and hanging in a tree was a dead bird on a fishing line I think it was a heroin So sad no one cut it down I am emailing the picture to the mayor and asked that it be cut down
Have been busy here this morning, cleaning house and brushing Emma, who's shedding more than usual this week.
Lynn, I see you've been feeling better today! That sure makes my day! Take it easy, and don't overdo. Love & hugs coming your way! Prayers for healing continue!
Well, have some stuff to get done in the yard, so better get it in gear here. Will BBL, after dinner tonight. HAGD, everyone! :o]
Have found my way back from under my desk!! Wishing you all a happy Thursday!
Hoda - Such awesome news about your upcoming trip to the USA!! Sounds wonderful!
DanaMO - As others have said, you'll never please everyone. C'mon....More Social Studies and Science in Kindergarten. Glad you decided on a Beer the other night instead of brewing over it anymore. Nonsense, I say!
Lynne ♥ - Hope you are enjoying time with the girls. So special! What a wonderful friend JO, sending your sons over to handle the yard work for Lynn. So very loving and thoughtful!
KAY - Would sure love to hear even more relief from you. Continued prayers for your pain to subside.
WANDA - Same goes for GG and her pain. I pray they get her regulated so she is pain free. That is awful!
Took FOREVER to catch up, but enjoyed every minute and every post from you dear friends.....
One of the chicks is a real meanie!!! Oh sits up and then pecks the other one so strongly that it keels over...It happened at least twice just now...Belle is not paying them any heed.I think they are hungry.
Hi all!! Home from school - the kids weren't bad considering the've got a 3-day weekend (teachers have tomorrow to work on grades!) Found out today that our school board, i9n their infinite wisdom, has decided to knock a day off the end of the school year for the students (they will now get out on 6/8 rather than 6/11, which was stupid to start with since it would have made the last day for kids a Monday! Most wouldn't have come back for that one day anyway). The board's logic is that the kids didn't use any snow days. However teachers, who were scheduled to work until 6/13 are STILL scheduled to work til 6/13! I love being treated like an hourly employee by the board, rather than like a professional! Forget the hours before and after school and on weekends - our contract is to work 191 days, so we will work 191 days. Guess who will be using a personal business day on 6/13??
Lynn, glad you were feeling up to an outing with your girls today!!
Siblings - The older one will be aggressive toward the younger one. It is called the Pecking Order. In self defense the one getting pecked will immediately 'play dead' to avoid getting pecked again.... So therefore I hope the peck you see is not forceful enough to knock the younger one over.
At least I know that many a young eaglet who has been pecked - makes it just fine. The parents at our nest are making certain they both get fed.
hey all. thanks judye. i think livvy just has a cold. fever is gone and she acts much better this afternoon. back to school tomorrow and then spring break next week.
i think i needed a day of rest as well.....this has been a really tough week....had reports from 2 other good friends of family members dying in the last 24 hours.
egad.
not sure if i'll be on later.
wish i could go fishing. got the licenses.....need to go wet a line and just be for a while. i agree, taht would be really nice; peacful
Thanks JO for the pecking order...it still looks really mean to me...I understand about the need to survive and I agree with you that they are both getting enough to eat.
SANDI your writing about the set number of days for teachers to work is so very similar to what happens in Canada...Sometimes makes no sense at all...in my District relations deteriorated so much that there was no automatic deposit of cheques the last day of the school year...Administrative office staff stopped by at 3:00 PM to destribute the cheques because people were leaving before the end of the school day, grades turned in, classrooms cleaned, supplies ordered, grade books turned in, and so on and so forth...yet we were not dismissed before three thirty on the bell!!! Infentile or what!!!
Our little ones are getting fed now. Looks like both parents might be participating again.
Hmm, well, I have just found out that nine-through-eleven-year-old boys are not necessarily too good at pulling weeds. Tried to hire some of Hunter's buddies to do the job, but it isn't going all that well.
Okay, now, Belle is feeding babies, and Shep is feeding Shep. Something bloody and red in the nest.
Shep lands at 11 with a new fish while Belle is feeding the chicklets. Again, he nailed the landing - right next to Belle on the rails! He then hops to the pantry to chow down while Belle continues to stuff the little ones!
I'm right there with you Sandi. We get "paid" to work 175 days a year and because we had no snow days we are working 178 this year! The Archdiocese will not give them to us at the end or on Holy Thursday or on Memorial Day weekend and our principal has no backbone and isn't fighting for us, meanwhile the Catholic HS got one of the days back and the WV schools got theirs back and we've been piling articles up on schools that are getting them back, BUT NOT US!!!
Wow, some real snoozing in the nest. I didn't think the youngest could stay uncovered yet, but they must be overachievers! Looks like more than a dozen fish! Was checking Jewel and the cubs. They are SO noisy. One screaming and the other doing the motorboat sound. Gotta check dryer & do din din.☺
Yep, Shirley on both counts. Derek and Savannah's babe is out playing in the grass and learning to walk AND I can only laugh at the image of Hunter and friends pulling weed. Hope you are doing well.
Only saw Belle with her babes a minute ago. Must not be hungry. Just flopped down next to each other.
Janet, now I understand. Congratulations, again, to Livvy on her science project win.
Linda, only a few more weeks before the dreadful date has passed. Hang in there.
Lowreeda, I told Wanda she can find plenty of fish for the soup kitchen just down the road. Maybe Shep thinks since he had to do so much grossery shopping he's entitled to a feast of his own.
Ha ! Tuning in just in time to see Belle begin to feed one eaglet, "wait a sec, Mom, time for a bit poop shoot first !". And now, Little Bit turns around to get in on dinner time. STEVE is so right. They are growing like weeks. Have never witnessed any eaglets getting better care than these two darlings !
Thanks, as always, for prayers and concerns. I received the injection a week ago today and was told to call at the 10 day mark if I wish to schedule a 2nd one. I'm calling tomorrow. I could barely walk this morning and that's with having taken the meds, ice therapy and the TENS unit. Gotta' have more help !
Andrew wanted French Toast and bacon for his birthday dinner! Hey whatever! It was easy for me to make. I can't believe I have a 21 year old son, I can't possibly be old enough!
Seems like these little ones are always getting fed. There are a lot of fish in that nest, really overkill. Shouldn't they be eating some of those leftovers?
Looks like she is digging deeper in that egg cup so she can shove them in and cover them up. They are getting so big I can't imagine how much longer she is going to be able to keep them under her.
Knowing LYNN is out with her lovely daughters for some fun !
Knowing SANDI wisely had some nasty skin cells removed. Prayers.
Finding that LYNNE is a great poet and that she's posted some fantastic pictures on her blog. The turkey vulture sequence is great !
Reading the Mason update, thanks to JO. "he is now in casts on both legs from his toes to his eyeballs. Those are the facts, but with Mason, it is never about the facts, it's about the adventure." Wow ! Love current Caring Bridge picture of him !
Seeing beautiful herons on live cam, via Cornell and thanks also to JO !
HMMM, good ! French toast and bacon for Andrew's birthday dinner. DANAMO, I haven't had dinner yet and may just duplicate that menu because it sounds soooo good ! Okay, so my bacon is thanks to a turkey and my syrup will be sugar free, but I'll enjoy ! Congrats on raising Andrew ! I have three family birthdays to celebrate next week, daughter, Eileen turning 56 on the 2nd, grandaughter Lauren 21 on the 4th and grandson Max 23 on the 6th. Guess I'd better get some presents in the the mail !
In from working in the yard all day. You would not believe that there is still yard work left to do, but there is...lots of it!! Today we mowed and used the weedeater and I got the lawn mower stuck! Went where I should not have gone as the yard is still a bog in places. After mowing I finished planting those flats of begonias. Now I need more!
Have had dinner and now waiting for AI.
DanaMo...wait til your babies are 42 and 39...that will kill you!! I can not believe they are those ages. Ha! Laurel is my age and Michael older than me. LOL They were just babies!!!!
sorry to read that Kay and GG are not out of the Pains woods yet, glad Linda crawled out from underneath her desk, and sorry that Janet has had a difficult go of it this weeek, but on a bright ☼ note, Congratulations to Livy ! xo
Moonie is approaching half, so we'll get a little Moonshine these nights to come
Thanks for all the great wild cam links, and the Eaglet hatching news, folks....don't have the time today to explore, but I have them where I can find them
Prayers going up for all our many needs of different varieties....
RED FRIDAY tomorrow.... God Bless Our Military
Good Night, Precious Pals
God Bless This Nest, and God Bless Us, Every One xoxo ♥
Okay, have to share this. One of Kathryn's friend was watching AI with his 89-year-old grandmother. She commented that that judge was the ugliest woman she had ever seen.
Kathryn's friend said, "That's Jennifer Lopez, Nan." Nan said, "No, not her. The other one." Friend said,"That's Steven Tyler, Nan.
Back for a few. Girls and I had a good afternoon. Caro left around 4 to get grosseries and go home to fix dinner for her familly. Chris and I made my homemade Mac 'n' Cheese which really hit the spot. SHe left about 6:30 to meet Shannon at the movies. I've had my bath and hope to stay awake for my shows. No nap today!
No way to catch up here. So prayers for any and all needs, kudos for goo stuff, and hope all have a restful night. See you tomorrow!!! Love you!!
Has been a wild and crazy afternoon around here. Kathryn had made a quick trip to the grocery store after coming in from work.
I was sitting in my chair and Hunter was outdoors with his friends. All of a sudden, the front door flew open and a horde of children came rushing into the house yelling for Flash and Luna. They wanted to introduce them to the new puppy they had with them. There was all kinds of running around and yelling.
It was a cute little pit bull pup. Too active for Flash and Luna, to tell the truth. Luna stayed completely out of the fray, and Flash got tired of being lept upon.
The pecking order, yes I have had experience with that and my 3 nephews!
Hi, I saw everyone in the nest today, correct me if I am wrong but I don't recall Lib bringing this much food into the nest, anyone else?
Shep is sure doing a great job being a first time dad.
I am spending the night at the rehab with Tori, she walked today and walked about 30 feet or so, tomorrow is another day once she can conquer 6 steps she will be ready to go home, or by Friday April 6
K 81 who I have long dubbed Mr Mom has fed the new little one on Two Harbors nest its first meal. It triggered a memory of one of the videos not of our NCTC family that I ever made back in the day. It's back in Dr Sharpe's fostering days of 2007 K 81 Mr Mom
Evening all - been vegging out in front of the TV!
Lynn, glad you had a good day, all the way through! Home made mac and cheese - I remember that stuff but it's been forever since I made it! Prayers that tomorrow will be an even better day!
Kay, I'm so sorry that this cortisone injection hasn't helped! Darn!!! Call that doc and get another! Prayers for you!
Robyn, keep the good news about Tori coming!
Lolly, wish it was warm enough here to plant begonias - I don't put anything in the ground til around May 1st! My goldfinches are getting brighter and brighter by the day!
Megan, haven't seen you on the blog in the past couple of days but I would like a recommendation on salvia (anyone else can feel free to chime in as well). Is there a variety that re-blooms well mid to late summer? I'm talking about the purple perennial, not the red annual?
My principal showed me a photo he took with his phone while he was playing golf in Fenwick last week. It was an eagle's nest in a tree along the edge of the golf course, and he saw both parents flying in and out as well as the dark head of a juvie eagle. He snapped the pic b/c he knows I'm an eagle addict! Nice of him to do that! I told him that I will be playing hookey from school one day in April to visit "my" eagles and their nest! He thought that was pretty cool!
Heading for the bathtub and then bed! Goodnight all - see ya in the AM! Don't have to be at school til 8AM so I can sleep in a little, but my body's so used to getting up at 5:30, my guess is that it will do the same tomorrow morning!
Just got back from Angies HEY GUESS what in her news paper from Tuesday Shepherdstown Eagle cam was mentioned I have the newspaper I will send up if anyone want it I did google and found the article that it was mentioned in They were talking about the osprey cam and OUR cam is listed TOOO COOL small world
That's a thought, Lynne! Maybe Scotty would have brought down some wood for me. He's a sweety! LOL
Hi Lynn! Bye Lynn! Sounds like you have had a great day. Now have another tomorrow, too!!!
Laurel just called and now I have a Jacob story....
He had a ball game tonight and had some good hits, but one was a pop ball...way out. He ran to first whooping and hollering and waving his arms. LOL He probably could have made it to 3rd but only got to 1st cause of the celebrating. Laurel said everyone was laughing and cheering. That's my boy!!
Something Lynne shared on fb reminded me.....I saw our first hummer yesterday. I was sitting on the ground while working in the yard and got buzzed. I was near a plant he was checking out. Have had my feeder out since last week but have not seen one at the feeder yet.
I am going to read now. I'll be back to say good night.
Judy - the article had all the very good cam sites.....
Sandi - Megan is our Salvia gal. You're coming down NCTC - right Maybe Megan could sell you some of hers.
I have been compiling information from quite a few excellent sources* for the Nest Visit. I'll be sending out email on Momsters - If any of you aren't a Momster - Holler at me.
Weed pulling: It was really quite comical. One kid would pull one weed at a time, take it and lay it on the grass, then declare that he was doing more work than anybody else.
After a bit, he declared that he had done enough for today and left.
Actually, I think Hunter did the best job. Maybe I can convince him to help me tomorrow.
I'm wondering if I have a nest in the tree by the garage. It is so thick it's hard to see anything, but I scared a bird out of there when I was investigating.
Every year I wonder, but can't see anything in there.
Last year, I saw a cardinal going in there several times. Just not easy to see anything, though. It's an arborvitae, and quite tall. Good hiding place for birds.
Very good rule that we do not talk politics on this forum, even if it is Canadian Politics. Suffice to say the Canadian Federal Budget came down tonight and I AM LIVID!!!
Good that I went to yoga. Good that I know how to meditate.
I have not yet read back so will go do so...it is sleeting here... I hope we heard from LYNN and that everyone on the blog is doing well.
Sometimes Hunter can be pretty grumpy, Lolly. That's one reason I suggested weed-pulling to his friends. I had offered him money, but he wasn't interested until I said I had offered the job to Anthony. Then he said that Anthony would need help. I think the problem was that too many kids ended up getting involved.
Just Anthony and Hunter would have probably been okay.
The thing is, they are so much closer to the ground than I am. It is hard for me to do that kind of work.
I took time to watch Glo's Two Harbors 2007 video from Dr Sharpe.. Took me a few to remember what I was seeing... I had more chuckles while watching! Thanks Glo for Mr Mom
Hi, Everyone, Wow, Lolly, I am SO jealous of your Cardinal nest! Love those birds!
Had a busy day today, and the house looks better for it. Gradually getting a pile of laundry done. Tomorrow is grossery shopping day.
Very happy to hear that Lynn had a great day with her girls! That mac and cheese sounds mighty yummy, too! Love you, Lynn! (((HUGS))) and prayers!
Prayers that Kay and GG will soon be pain free!
Shirley, couldn't help myself--I had to chuckle at the mental picture of all the kids and dogs and the puppy running around in your house! So much for a quiet retirement, I guess.LOL :oD
I just sent an RSVP for our daughter's BFF Cari's 40th Birthday party! It's a week from Saturday. She lives in Norco, CA with her family. Can't believe she was in 1st grade when we met her! Talk about feeling OLD! Can't wait to see her again. She's a sweetheart.
Well, think I'll go watch a bit of TV before hitting the hay. Gonna be a busy day tomorrow. Prayers have been said for everyone, and for every creature. Special healing prayers for Lynn, Kay, and GG. The porch light is lit, and both security systems are enabled. Sleep tight, everyone. God bless, and goodnight. Love all of you! :o]
Mac & Cheese is a winner with me! Very happy to hear Lynn and her girls had a good day together.
I am hitting the pillow. My mind is in one of those spinning whirls! Good Night Everyone and God Bless you and those you Love. Prayers for everyone's needs ♥ ** (((HUGS TO ALL))) **
Even with all the fun chitty-chat we did not get to the 200 Barricade, nice to just jump ON and not have to jump OVER ☺
Sandi I had a black salvia plant from Megan's Market last summer, exotic! It flowered for a long time into the summer (I cannot remember the exact name for it though, maybe something a little different)
Jo, details about the NCTC weekend coming via the Momsters email list? That means I'll have to start reading it (hate to admit it, but I normally send it to the trash each day without reading it - it's hard enough to just keep up with the blog!) I did read what showed up this AM and was happy to hear that Isla returned! That's pretty amazing!!
Does Megan raise/sell perennials at her greenhouse?
Shep is standing near the launch pad and both chicklets are watching him. He picks a fish from the pile and starts eating (facing away from the babies). If he doesn't go to them, I suspect they may come to him!! Right now, they're still nestled in the cup - but watching him intently!!
Shep is now standing on the rails at 10. Both chicks are still nestled in the cup and don't seem terribly concerned that Dad hasn't fed them, sothey must be fine with it. Looks like I am solo reporting this AM until someone else arrives. Gotta get ready for my day! Will check in from school! TTFN!
Shep tried again to settle on the chicks but I think that ship has sailed for Shep - they won't fit under him anymore!! Lil is 2 weeks old today - they both look great!! Shep is now grabbing a fish from the rails at 12 - I'd love to see him feed those babies!
good Morning from work Belle and Shep were fussing with the "soft downy straw and fluff" in the nest, then Shep flew out, so now it's quiet around and underneath so Belle is catching a few extra winks
Good Morning! Sorry if I disappeared for a while again, that happens this time of year. Too busy to do much of anything but live in the gh. I can't believe how many fish are piled in the nest. Yes, if some people wanted to come to my place to look at my plants on that Saturday, we could probably arrange that:)
Sandi, Megan sells her flowers at the Shepherdstown Sunday Market in Stown...it runs from 9-1 on Sundays, but if there is something you want, she could bring it for you perhaps.
Good morning everyone. Glad you took time to watch MrMom video MeMa Jo I shared it over here as I thought maybe many of the Momsters were not watching eagle cams back when Dr Sharpe was doing al his fostering work with the eggs and eaglets. Figured it would give them some idea of all that was done to restore eagles to the Catalinas, and for the rest of us some pretty special memories of how hard eagles struggled to come back. From what I saw yesterday K 81 is definitely still in the Mr Mom roe on Two Harbors. And well our Shep is doing pretty great as first time Dad. He is surely half fisherman too :-).

I think it may soon be time to zoom the cam back a bit.... Can't see how close

What a milestone it is turning 21.
Congratulation Mom and Dad ♥
We have 2 adults n the nest...
I don't think Shep wants to go out

Off into the wind goes Shep begrudgingly.

Food but not a fish.
Next weekend, April 7, is Andrew and Kelsey's wedding shower for the folks in the Charleston area. We are going to have them one here in May. Andrew wants to be there to help open presents! :) They registered at Walmart, Elder Beerman and Royal Caribbean.

at the beach last summer. They are gorgeous!
Jerry, sorry you've missed out on your
fishing plans...good thoughts that you'll get to go this weekend. Keep an eye out for Shep when you do.
Glad you're the kind of guy that likes to go
Thrift Store shopping with your wife! Sounds fun.

I have the saddest picture We were at Freedom park and hanging in a tree was a dead bird on a fishing line I think it was a heroin So sad no one cut it down I am emailing the picture to the mayor and asked that it be cut down
and when we were at the park the juvie eagle was sitting in the nest got a quick video of him also but soooooo fuzzy with my tiny zoom on cam
Belle is back.

Been staring at fish in cup with babies didn't see her land I guess
Angie said Jordyn got up at 5 15 poor sleepy head kid Belle is movinig fish from cup and chowing down on it at 630
Still cam is still down...can't get on the live feed. Thanks for the reports! Breakfast in bed, too cute JudyE
Hi, Gang,
Have been busy here this morning, cleaning house and brushing Emma, who's shedding more than usual this week.
SLEEPING BEAUTY HAS GOTTEN UP
One of the chicks is a real meanie!!! Oh sits up and then pecks the other one so strongly that it keels over...It happened at least twice just now...Belle is not paying them any heed.I think they are hungry.
Good you surfaced from under your stack of papers LINDA!!LOL
Thanks, Hoda! ♥
Both WE and TH had a hatch today!
Siblings - The older one will be aggressive toward the younger one. It is called the Pecking Order.
In self defense the one getting pecked will immediately 'play dead' to avoid getting pecked again.... So therefore I hope the peck you see is not forceful enough to knock the younger one over.
At least I know that many a young eaglet who has been pecked - makes it
just fine. The parents at our nest are making certain they both get fed.
I see Belle and one of the eaglets.
Anyone know where the other one is.
Paula we may want the cam zoom out.
I have only hear one other request from our group. May want more to make the
request........ :)
Was checking out the nest at CRC. The baby is out exploring the area near the nest.
Jerry I calls for rain over the
weekend - Get that fishing rod and GO
Having family spaghetti tonight
I'll be back when everyone leaves
I see two babies now. They are both flopped.
hey all. thanks judye. i think livvy just has a cold. fever is gone and she acts much better this afternoon. back to school tomorrow and then spring break next week.
i think i needed a day of rest as well.....this has been a really tough week....had reports from 2 other good friends of family members dying in the last 24 hours.
egad.
not sure if i'll be on later.
wish i could go fishing. got the licenses.....need to go wet a line and just be for a while. i agree, taht would be really nice; peacful
later ya'll.
Off to evening yoga...see you all later. Hope LYNN and THE GIRLS are having a GREAT DAY.
88 Days
Hi everyone,
Yep, Shirley on both counts.
Bye
OH KAY!!! I'm so sorry. Yup, make that call, you shouldn't have to deal with pain!
DanaMO, sounds like a great birthday dinner!
Happiness is:
I agree, getting harder and harder to tuck the chicklets in
big downy feather loose on her left back wing
Kay, sure hope the next injections help.
Hmmm think that is a regular feather that is molting
In from working in the yard all day. You would not believe that there is still yard work left to do, but there is...lots of it!! Today we mowed and used the weedeater and I got the lawn mower stuck! Went where I should not have gone as the yard is still a bog in places. After mowing I finished planting those flats of begonias. Now I need more!
Have had dinner and now waiting for AI.
DanaMo...wait til your babies are 42 and 39...that will kill you!! I can not believe they are those ages. Ha! Laurel is my age and Michael older than me. LOL They were just babies!!!!
Belle seems ready for those 2 to settle down for the night, but they appear to have other ideas ! What a joy it is to watch this family !
Goodness, gracious, LOLLY, you've already had dinner. I must tear myself away from the nest and get some food and meds down my gullet.
Love you all so much and will remember all needs in prayer !
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
Belle has the chick covered as much as she can...standing over them!
What was the other dinner menu item brought to the nest? Any clue where it is?
Night lite just came on
makes a funny little zzzitz kind of sound when it does that,
Paula...
Hello Evening Eagle Pals...
xoxox
I sure don't know, Paula....
my co-workers got to watch more of the nestcapades today than I did !
Hey, I don't see the fluttering thing that was on earlier...
that's how long it's been since

Thinking of Lynn♥
Catching up on everyone else I am thinking of....
Look at Belle all tucked!
Scotty is singing tonight on AI!!!!
I'm so old that I forgot that I even posted that I posted this morning that it was Andrew's birthday. Duh!
Sounds good either way Kay. Probably can't tell the diff. ☺
I'm off to read...night all!
ooops just missed wishing you a Happy Birthday for Andrew, DanaMo...and congratulations to you and Monte....
Great dinner selection by the Birthday Boy !
xo
but I didn't read anything about birthday cake ! ☺
Have to pretend that it is 10:30 and not 8:30, going in two hours early at 6 am...
Judie, I have some great coloring books for those crayons !
Wildflowers, butterflies, cartoons...animals, take your pick!
Good news about Tori, Rah Rah Rah !
sorry to read that Kay and GG are not out of the Pains woods yet,
glad Linda crawled out from underneath her desk,
and sorry that Janet has had a difficult go of it this weeek, but on a bright ☼ note, Congratulations to Livy !
God Bless This Nest, and
God Bless Us, Every One
xoxo ♥
Okay, I confess...I am still in love with Scotty. He is just so cute and sings so well. Love his voice. Shhhhh...do not tell Jack.☺
evening all!
My goodness, the sounds coming from the Heron nest are rather like sounds heard in the movie The Exorcist!
Your secret is safe with me Lolly. I'll be SCOTTY would have gotten you some firewood that night Jack wouldn't!!
both bobbleheads in view at WE and TH
That TH chick is a real tumbler!
Oh, my!
Love you!!
Poor chick has no eggs to lean against!
Luna stayed completely out of the fray, and Flash got tired of being lept upon.
too funny Shirley! and he ain't such a good lookin' MAN, either!
Hi Lynn, bye Lynn! Enjoy your shows! Mac n cheese is always a great comfort food!
Robyn, Lib never overdid it quite like this! Shep doesn't know when to stop! That's OK!
Just got back from Angies HEY GUESS what in her news paper from Tuesday Shepherdstown Eagle cam was mentioned I have the newspaper I will send up if anyone want it I did google and found the article that it was mentioned in They were talking about the osprey cam and OUR cam is listed TOOO COOL small world
Here is the link Sheperdstown, eagle cam mentioned in aritcle of eagles nest to see on the web
thats funny because the aritcle in the paper is longer than on the web
So if you all think maybe Steve might want to see if or anyone else let me know and I can pop it in the mail Gonna go wind down now
JudyE, I would love to have a copy.....I can scan and post it for everyone....then I can send the original to Steve.
I will get it out in the mail to you PAULA I posted the link on Steves wall also tonight
Funny story about Jacob, Lolly!
Heading to bed. Good night and prayers for all!
Hi Sandi,
I took the Friday off from school each time I went to the open house weekend, too. It was well worth it.
Good decision.
Yeah, Lynne. That is what I told Kathryn. He doesn't look like he cares very much about his appearance.
Cute Jacob story, Lolly. They need to be able to celebrate and have fun at that age. It's not the time to take sports too seriously.
Yay, Lynn. So happy that you had a good day.
Judy - the article had all the very good cam sites.....
Sandi - Megan is our Salvia gal.
You're coming down NCTC - right
Maybe Megan could sell you some of hers.
I have been compiling information from quite a few excellent sources* for the Nest Visit. I'll be sending out email on Momsters - If any of you aren't a Momster - Holler at me.
Oh, Kay, so sorry that your day was not good. Yes, do make the call.
DanaMo, I guess you can't say that Hunter's teachers got the days not used for snow off. The kids did, but the teachers had to go in.
I said I was going to read but I haven't. Been playing. Have added pictures to my Hawkwood Blog of the gold finch we saw yesterday at the feeder.
Also, I checked the Cardinal nest today. I saw her fly out so I looked. Four eggs! That is the final count.
Gold Finch at the feeder
Weed pulling: It was really quite comical. One kid would pull one weed at a time, take it and lay it on the grass, then declare that he was doing more work than anybody else.
After a bit, he declared that he had done enough for today and left.
Actually, I think Hunter did the best job. Maybe I can convince him to help me tomorrow.
Night all! Sweet dreams!
Prayers for Kay and Lynn!
I'm still here too. Trying to figure out the timeline on FB before it becomes mandatory. UGH! Actually, it's pretty interesting and not too difficult.
But i'm really going to bed now....
Send him to Texas, Shirley, I need help!!!!
♥
Hey Lynne....if I can do it...then you surely can!
I can't seem to figure out how to add years to the time line. Mine only goes from now, down to 2008 and then BORN. UGH.
Think I had better wind down for the evening. Will need to get an early start again tomorrow.
God bless and good night to all of you good friends.
I will see you tomorrow.
I took time to watch Glo's Two Harbors
2007 video from Dr Sharpe.. Took me
a few to remember what I was seeing...
I had more chuckles while watching!
Thanks Glo for Mr Mom
Lynne - I haven't try to load anything
In fact, I don't think I have even gone
down to see what is there.
Lolly - The gold finch is really gold!
Hi, Everyone,
Wow, Lolly, I am SO jealous of your Cardinal nest!
Very happy to hear Lynn and her girls
had a good day together.
I am hitting the pillow. My mind is
in one of those spinning whirls!
Good Night Everyone and God Bless you and those you Love.
Prayers for everyone's needs ♥
** (((HUGS TO ALL))) **
We did get the dogs and kids into the backyard pretty quickly. Appreciated the fence.
Oh dear, I said good night and forgot I had. I really must wind down now. It is late.
Lots to do tomorrow, same as today!
I'm tired and can't think...ever get that way? Of course you do:)
Loved the story of Shirley's daughter- Kathryn's friend saying that "That's the ugliest woman I ever saw (Steven Tyler)"...cracked

Lots of fun and funny reading since I hit the pillows
Have a Good Day, Eagle Pals

God Bless Our Military, Every Day
xoxox ♥
Even with all the fun chitty-chat we did not get to the 200 Barricade, nice to just jump ON and not have to jump OVER ☺
Sandi
I had a black salvia plant from Megan's Market last summer, exotic!
It flowered for a long time into the summer (I cannot remember the exact name for it though, maybe something a little different)
Thinking of Lynn♥
and hoping for another GOOD DAY
at Lynn's Lair
Also thinking of all with discomforts of any kind, and that today will be Good Also !
Early work day for me
one hour 'til clock in time for me
I wonder if Megan would let us go over to her greenhouse and buy some plants on Get Together weekend next month?!?
Good Morning, MARGY!
Good Morning Again, Lori... !
You should ask about that...
must leave now....wouldn't be fashionable to be late !
"See You All from Work"
xoxo (( All-Day Hugs ♥ ))
☺
Good morning eagle friends. ♥
Morning Lori, DanaMo and Margy! Happy Friday!!!
Sandi-I don't even open my yahoo or gmail accounts so I'm just the same. The blog emails come to my phone, but otherwise I don't even look at them.
Belle is up and poofed. I heard Shep near the cam a bit ago, so he should be arriving. babies are awake and looking hungry!
And Dad arrives!
Shep is standing near the launch pad and both chicklets are watching him. He picks a fish from the pile and starts eating (facing away from the babies). If he doesn't go to them, I suspect they may come to him!! Right now, they're still nestled in the cup - but watching him intently!!
Shep tried to straddle both chicklets and they want nothing to do with that!
FINALLY - he's feeding Lil! Big is snoozing. Yay!! Gotta scoot!
good Morning from work
Belle and Shep were fussing with the "soft downy straw and fluff" in the nest, then Shep flew out, so now it's quiet around and underneath so Belle is catching a few extra winks
Happy Day, Happy Friday to all
Thinking of Lynn♥
xoxo
was...something made her wake up
Good morning!
Just checking in for a moment.
I hear something chirping near the nest
Just saw the wonderful pic of Isla that Chrissy sent out...amazing!
It's chilly here this morning 35°
Oooh, party at Megans ☺
That sounds great, Megan!
Getting pretty close to a SPLIT
so keep an EYE or TWO out for that
xo
Belle up off the chicks, they are awake but still in the bup
ooops, cup!
NEW THREAD, COME ON OVER!
