I was on the ledge with the falcon cam when I heard you calling, Vicky. I just couldn't get here any sooner. Vicky - I know you have an alarm system somehow build in on New Threads! lol
Thanks Steve! Glad you're home from Wyoming to take care of things as they happen this week. Tell Mike we hope he gave the old eagle eye look back to either Belle or Liberty.
My last 2 posts on the old thread are: Well, I did say Good Morning to everyone but my post just disappeared into thin air - However the next 2 did publish Strange... Norma - not sure about the structure for our ButaButa.Maybe it will help her learn to climb down. Norfolk Lady is due for another to hatch I would think. Last one was Sat Glad the #3 cam is up at Kent but then the other 2 were covering Star/Spirit very well. Need to go see that Falcon egg on the ledge.
Welcome home,Glo Hopefully we will see a new updated pic on here shortly so we can see just how much your little angel has grown!
Jo time is right in my other mail. Yesterday time was right when I sent a test page to myself in yahoo. mail now today it is wrong again. LOL Calling mail maintance lol
Dana Sent myself email - Time is incorrect even though my clock is accurate. GUESS WHAT! I am going to watch eagles and just forget about the time of my messages!
At the last Norfolk feeding I could see one chick and one egg.I think folks said there were three eggs but I couldn't see another egg. Maybe she's moved them around so that the one about to hatch is in the clear???
Lun Lun just dragged Buta Buta off the top. Buta Buta got to the one limb and Lun Lun dropped her. That was a pretty long ways to fall. Now I don't see Buta Buta on the screen at all. Hope she is ok.
OK got to see Buta Buta she is walking looks ok. Now she is climbing up the pole in a different area. This is where the hammock is. There goes Lun LUn after her again. Buta is hold onto log for dear life. Lun Lun must want to nurse her. I do think in the end Lun Lun will win out.
Well if that wasn't crazy Lun Lun did get her off the top log. Backed up dragging Buta Buta with her into the hammock. Hammock turned they both flopped out onto ground.
Hi Kate - Definitely 3 eggs at VA - have seen photos of them. I also saw what you saw: 1 chick and 1 egg. Hope that nest gets full sunshine soon because with the shadows it's difficult to see.....
ButaButa thinks she is safe from Momma now..........I've seen LunLun pull her down from the top before. Panda updates states that due to ButaButs's weight now that LunLun can't really handle catching her!!
I hope whoever was watching LunLun and ButaButa is getting a whooper of a good belly laughing right now.
I see they are both ok - but o'boy what a tumble. Funniest part was when LunLun jumped in that hamock and bounced right up and grabbed ButaButa and fell back into the hammock and then rolled our of it with her cub in arms...............
The Virginia Lady is acting like there is something going on down under. Both adults were there a few mins ago... Maybe Dad went for more food because there might be more mouths to feed???
All thru the VA feeding there was just 1 fuzzy head ... When she went to sit down the camera must have betrayed my eyes but I almost thought I saw 2... Couldn't be... Anyone else watching...
Jo... I think I saw what you saw... a dark little grey spot to the left of the feeding chick. It was too fast to be sure. Guess we have to keep watching.
HI---I have been catching up my emails----I said earlier on the other thread, that I thought the VIRGINIA LADY was acting "strange" again----I agree with JO---
PAULA---I was watching her trying to feed the chick---That chick doesn't have an appetite like the BW group have---That appears to be one deep nest---Kept thinking I was seeing 2---then maybe not--but if you think 2--I agree---
That was AWESOME to see the VIRGINIA LADY so close to the camera---I enlarged the pic---I agree she was so very patient & waited until the chick was ready to take a bite---WOW--WOW! That was BREATH TAKING TO WATCH!!!!
Yep Norfolk is now a family of 4 for sure, and yes Vcky it owuld be great since we can't seem to get any dependable live feed, if we could at least get a more frequent refresh on the still cam.
HI MITS---Are you sure about KENT---I had decided that maybe they were like the WE group--They are Two Females & they are waiting for the Male to join them--ho! ho!
The little chicks at VA are just as cute as the little chicks at BW BUT OURS are even going to be cuter!!!! It is just such an awesome experience to be able to watch these feedings up so close--it's like watching a miracle happening.
I have been waiting for a year to see the beginning activity of our nest, since I didn't know about it til about 3 weeks after Spunk was hatched last year, and I'm not a happy camper, Dana.
Yes, Mits, seems our cam is down again. I noticed it too. Way back when I was telling people how to refresh...then I had trouble getting the page back up...then off to do other things and didn't get to check it out again until I got home....
I know I too Mits wanted to see the activity before the hatchings too. I got to the cam last season before any hatchings but eggs were already laid. So I'm right along with you Mits.
Lisa sure had a lot of pics to post on the gallery this time. Amazing to see both adults so often together at the nest sharing the feeding of the chicks.
Good evening everyone. I am getting ready for bed. Feeling pretty crummy! I do now have posters on my bedroom wall of little teenagers. Mattie has been busy. I buy her one magazine and get my walls decorated. I love it. She can have at it!
Hope all have a good night. Hopefully WHATEVER is wrong with our cam will be fixed permanently soon. I would hate to miss their hatching this year.
Glad to see the cam is working (I hope). It got stuck around 4-5pm yesterday. It was still stuck around 11:30 last night. Maybe someone from NCTC is already in?
Yup, it is updating, head is no longer facing backwards.
I have sent 2 pieces of mail through Eaglet_Momster group. I know you said you get that late. So I also sent them to your mail box. OK?? So you have mail and then later you'll get it through the Momsters group.

WOw, how cool that would be to see! Thanks for the new thread!
Beautiful pic of the 3 eggs, Steve.
Happy Monday everyone. Keep your eagle eye out for eaglets!
THANKS FOR THE UPDATE VICKY---THANKS STEVEN---I agree with VICKY-----to be able to see the EAGLE-EYE in the CAMERA would be TOO COOL!!!
CO EAGLE----No falcon--or owl--
MITS---The PA cam is working---Is that MOM on the other end of ledge with_____??
Thanks Vicky for heads up and morning to you, Paula, Jo, Mits, Glo, Norma.
Norma I think at Shenandoah that is 4 different view of one ledge.
I still think an egg is being hatched at Norfolk. We'll know soon enough if it started today might take till tomorrow.
Steve what one seen "an eagle eye looking at the cam" sure would have been nice for us watchers to have seen also.
UPDATE PLEASE ON LIVE FEED
My last 2 posts on the old thread are:

Welcome home,Glo Hopefully we will see a new updated pic on here shortly so we can see just how much your little angel has grown!
Norfolk does have an update on their NEWS about the first egg hatching. It was 38 days exactly.
DANA WHAT TIME IS IT?
Megan,
You have got to get on here and let everyone know what you saw at BW!
Morning All, Hope everyone has a blessed day. I agree about the beautiful pic of the 3 eggs, those precious eggs hold our new babies.
Chick is on the move at BW
Jo why I got the correct time on computer. Plus emails I send from both my email site go out with right time on them.
Live Feed is up!!
Chick at BW Passed out!
Poor lil guy is just really wiped out! LOL
Now there is two tuckered out eaglets at BW :)
Live feed went down :(:(
I sent an email to Steve 11:08am asking for update on live feed.
Live feed announced up at 11:29am
Feel the love lol
Jo send me an email say anything and I'll tell you what time.
Egg turning out nest
Well that live feed was "short lived" feel the concept of UNLOVED :(
Not real sure but I thought I just seen a 2nd fuzzy head at Norfolk Va. I did a full screen and it looked like it. Now I'm not sure, think so.
Belle seems to be checking under her breast - Maybe she can hear that little pecking noise!
Blackwater chicks sure are growing!
Being fed alot!
Jo time is right in my other mail. Yesterday time was right when I sent a test page to myself in yahoo. mail now today it is wrong again. LOL Calling mail maintance lol
Shadows are hindering our seeing
everything in the VA nest.........
Dana, was my time also incorrect?
Dana Sent myself email -
Time is incorrect even though my clock is accurate.
GUESS WHAT! I am going to watch
eagles and just forget about the
time of my messages!
Yup, Dana, think that was a whole 15 minutes of live feed....
Egg turn at OUR nest
I was hoping to get a better view of our eggs that time - but didn't work out that way.
Shadows still on the VA nest....
Check out VA feeding -
VA feeding was still just the one
Just saw feeding at Norfolk, only saw 1 chick
At the last Norfolk feeding I could see one chick and one egg.I think folks said there were three eggs but I couldn't see another egg. Maybe she's moved them around so that the one about to hatch is in the clear???
Me too Jo it will be what it will be hee hee time to watch cams not worry why time is messed up again.
Oh watch out everyone I am having Senior Moments again.
Oh my BW eagle nest is over exposed and there are lots of chicks in the nest LOL
Back to only two chicks now Lisa and them are usually on top of problems there.
Buta Buta is moving around on top om logs
Lun Lun just dragged Buta Buta off the top. Buta Buta got to the one limb and Lun Lun dropped her. That was a pretty long ways to fall. Now I don't see Buta Buta on the screen at all. Hope she is ok.
OK got to see Buta Buta she is walking looks ok. Now she is climbing up the pole in a different area. This is where the hammock is. There goes Lun LUn after her again. Buta is hold onto log for dear life. Lun Lun must want to nurse her. I do think in the end Lun Lun will win out.

Sometimes I jsut get so exhasoerated..mind if I sigh...S I G H !!!! Ok thanks for listening.
ButaButa thinks she is safe from Momma now..........I've seen LunLun pull her down from the top before.

ButaBUta must have run up that log to the top really fast...
Check out VA
I need to leave for a few hours.
Hope someone is here monitoring OUR nest and the VA nest. Keep good comments..... BBL
Wow did anyone catch the fly in at our nest?????
But it looks like Belle is still on the nest - I caught the tail end of it, only saw one eagle in the nest.
Yes Dana, you were right...that was a switch earlier....Lib on the nest now.
Was just adjusting in VA, still could see only 1 chick and 1 egg
Feeding at BW
HI---I have been catching up my emails----I said earlier on the other thread, that I thought the VIRGINIA LADY was acting "strange" again----I agree with JO---
Egg turning our nest
YES, THERE ARE 2 chicks IN VA
Feeding in VA
Parent is so patient feeding that chick
PAULA---I was watching her trying to feed the chick---That chick doesn't have an appetite like the BW group have---That appears to be one deep nest---Kept thinking I was seeing 2---then maybe not--but if you think 2--I agree---

Those Eaglets are BW are just too cute...they just sleep where they drop!
Yep, Norfolk has 2 peepers!
On another note, since our live feed doesn't want to work, "IT WOULD BE NICE IF THE OTHER CAM WOULD REFRESH MORE FREQUENTLY????!! I wonder if that is a possibility???
egg turning our nest
Yep Norfolk is now a family of 4 for sure, and yes Vcky it owuld be great since we can't seem to get any dependable live feed, if we could at least get a more frequent refresh on the still cam.
There is most definitely 2 little eaglet heads popping up at VA for this feeding :):)
Don't you know how to refresh the still cam? f5 or reload
OUR EGGS ARE ALL ALONE!!---No one is watching!!!
EAGLE AT KENT.
Both eagles at KENT NEST.
THEY WERE JUST MATING AGAIN.
:) Should be eggs there mighty soon! They mate more as egg laying nears!
HI MITS---Are you sure about KENT---I had decided that maybe they were like the WE group--They are Two Females & they are waiting for the Male to join them--ho! ho!
1 EAGLE on side of tree at KENT!!
Just what Paula, said, Norma the closer the egg the more they mate.
Eagle at osprey nest.
Feeding at BW....James River Bridge Falcon has 3 eggs. Same site as VA eagles and Shenadoah falcons.
The little chicks at VA are just as cute as the little chicks at BW BUT
OURS are even going to be cuter!!!!
It is just such an awesome experience to be able to watch these feedings up so close--it's like watching a miracle happening.
Anybody else getting half of a block screen at our nest?
I can't refresh ours at all.:(
Been trying for over 15 minutes, can't get our cam to refresh. Didn't someone mention the other day the cam would be fixed soon????
Falcon at JRB is sound asleep.
Both eagles at VA.
Well by George Norfolk did have their little one today. Knew all morning she was acting funny.
I see two little fuzzy head congtrs Mom & Dad in Norfolk.
As far as our cam someone needs to ask Steve or NCTC what their meaning of "fix" is. Cause it surely it not what Websters Dictionary has.
I have been waiting for a year to see the beginning activity of our nest, since I didn't know about it til about 3 weeks after Spunk was hatched last year, and I'm not a happy camper, Dana.
One eagle eats food grinds it up then gives it to the eagle who is feeding the chicks at VA.
James River Bridge Falcon is now awake and staring at the cam, she is just beautiful.
Yes, Mits, seems our cam is down again. I noticed it too. Way back when I was telling people how to refresh...then I had trouble getting the page back up...then off to do other things and didn't get to check it out again until I got home....
LOOKS LIKE WE ARE OUT OF BUSINESS....AGAIN.
Just a tad frustrating, huh, Paula?
I hope someone can get the darned thing working tomorrow....
I won't be around tomorrow until late tomorrow night, son has surgery.
Eagle laying back down in nest at KENT.
Hoping every thing turns out alright for your son, Paula.
Both eagles at KENT.
Oh yeah, for sure, Mits. Frustrating.
Son will be just fine, though :) Thanks.
I know I too Mits wanted to see the activity before the hatchings too. I got to the cam last season before any hatchings but eggs were already laid. So I'm right along with you Mits.
Well, at least we are all in the same boat...going upstream with no wind:(:(.
The people showed for the concert but the band didn't show. That's NCTC cam.
I sure we could think of a dozen or so descriptions of the NCTC CAM, Dana:)
Nestoration going on at Hancock nest.
Both eagles at Kent
Well, I missed all the aggravation and frustration this afternoon-but believe me I can still feel it!
Kent nest is very busy. One up and one down.
I just can't believe all the stuff we have missed of the season of our nest, thank goodness for all the other eagle and falcon cams.
Dana and Jo, did you get the e-mail I sent from Loraine??
Seem to be working at a frantic pace at KENT.
More mating at KENT:):):)!
I finished reading Loraine's email to you. It had a lot of interesting items in it.. I was checking out all the links in it.
Lisa sure had a lot of pics to post on the gallery this time. Amazing to see both adults so often together at the nest sharing the feeding of the chicks.
I am going to go over to play some games... BBL
Good Night Sharon
GOOD NIGHT EVERYONE! Hope you feel better, Sharon
Oh...sh..shoes!! The cam is frozen with half the screen in bright sunlight and half completely black?!
Do we at least know if they have hatched an egg yet?
I see the Kent pair are setting on the nest as though hatching an egg, but when she got up the cup was bare.
Hope the electronics to our cam is easy to fix this time.
Jim
Night everyone.
Good Morning Suzanne
Going to call it a day!
Good Night to All
Pleasant dreams & peaceful sleep
Prayers being said for all
Not so good morning, Suzanne unless they have fixed our cam
MOrning, Suz.
Glad to see the cam is working (I hope). It got stuck around 4-5pm yesterday. It was still stuck around 11:30 last night. Maybe someone from NCTC is already in?
Yup, it is updating, head is no longer facing backwards.
Have a great day!
And how the heck do you get up and function at this ungodly hour? :)
Have to be at the hospital at 6am this morning for son's surgery.
All have a great day!
Hope we see and eaglet today!
Suzanne you here
I have sent 2 pieces of mail through Eaglet_Momster group. I know you said you get that late. So I also sent them to your mail box. OK?? So you have mail and then later you'll get it through the Momsters group.
Suzanne did you read the above??
OK Suzanne I'm back to bed. Talk later ty for our nest updates.
Suzanne you have a reply. Night for now.
Good Morning Suzanne, wonder how much longer till we are momsters again? Have a blessed one. donna
