Thanks again, Steve. I'm waiting for Tom to arrive home from the hospital and for his antibiotic equipment (coming from Columbia, MD) and nursing help (coming from Charles Town). Just poppped in for a minute and found the new thread. Very very windy.

CO eagle is up and looking in the nest bowl, wish they refreshed more than 2 minutes, but at least, their CAM is clear!
Don't like to pop in and right back out, but I have an appointment.

Both eagles working hard on the Hancock-Sidney nest. May not be much longer before we have an egg there.
We expect the live feed to be up soon, but have not heard back from Wheeling today.

Well, sorry the live feed went down. And I don't mean to be grumpy, BUT I haven't been able to see the 30 sec. cam for 6 days now, and no one seems to know why some people can't open any FWS sites. And it is starting to irritate me! I want my cam pic!!!!

If a chick were hatched today, that would make the last egg to be hatched far behind, since it was laid on the 12th of FEB, I didn't see anything, but maybe Nilla, got a pic.

My seeing ababy was prolley wishful thinking on my part as i havent seen nothing since but like Sharon says MTBR... Yes Thelma leaving April 27th thru May6th... I have a scooter reserved from a health store down there, they will deliver the day we get there and pick up when i leave... Does SC have a egg or from what i have seen she is making the egg bowl??

I can see Belle exceptionally well in the nest tonight... Only5 hours left for an egg to hatch on Sharons birthday so Belle get those eggs crackin...lol

Think he took 2 eggs from the nest...lots of freezing on video... we'll know later for sure.
Looks like they probably retreived 2 eggs from the TH nest...really a quick in and out...eagle returned very shortly afterwards. Video froze too much to process, but someone else got one. I'll post the link on here when it's ready.

Hello Jo and Paula1 Checking out the BW weblog, too. Saturday's weather forecast for BW is partly sunny, highs in the low 50's.
Yes, That is so cool, I swear my connection is sooo slow, it's taking forever to open them, may have to try later. Trying to do too many things on here at once. Just watching the weather, 3-6" of snow! Yuck! who ordered that ??? Maybe this will be the last of the winter.
Took awhile to go through all the good videos on Lisa's web page. I can see it is much easier to sit on eggs then it is to sit on eaglets! How about that little pecker head!!!

I watched the video of the Two Harbors exchange...as someone said, it was in and out. It was interesting though anyway.
I meant to have Paula or somebody ask Dr. Sharpe to straighted up those large sticks in front of the camera, which the eagles have been trying to fill that big gap, and which have been driving me mad because they look as though they would work if they were rearranged, but as it is they will likely slide out of the nest and down the rocks. But I forgot, and he just climbed over them both ways and didn't rearrange a thing!
I got the live feed this morning, but I guess they're shutting it off in the evening...never comes up this season. When it is up though, it is working great so far.
I looked at the S. Cruz nest from work briefly this afternoon and the male was on a limb over the nest preening, and the egg was on its own...fairly warm out here today.
Well, I too am kind of tired, and I still have chores to do. Later, everyone...

well, I have returned from vacation -- although it wasn't the one we planned. basically, we ended up having to cancel our passage on the cruise because weather had shut down travel to the east side of the US (from Chicago south to Dallas, no planes could get East). so, we went to Hawaii instead!
can't talk much now, but i'll be putting together something for my (very much ignored) blog soon..

Hey Dana. Got your mail, the answer is no. I am using internet explorer 6. I am thinking of resetting my computer, taking it back to a day last week when I could open FWS sites. That is my last idea, I just don't get what the problem is, and no one seems to be aware of the problem or have any answers. Has to be an explanation for this.
Feeding time at BW, both chicks are up and looking around. They look so fuzzy. Make sure to check out BW eagle cam upcates, some great videos of the chicks.

NE both eagles are in the nest. The one that flew in gave a touch to the top of the head softly to the one laying on the eggs. Now they just beaked awww.
Shift change at NE couldn't see the egg or eggs whichever.
Looks like I think Tai is enjoying the outside weather with snow coming down. As he enjoys eating something by the log.

floralgirl I was having problems earlier with different sites and I am using realplayer and they told me to brin up realplayer and go to tools then preference, then hardware, then performance playback to move the slied to the left- to the lowest cpu usage and then to restart my computer and I was able to get on all the sites then. Don't know if it will work for you but it is worth a try. Good luck.
Good grief! It is really driving me nuts that I cannot open the cam page. BRB Dana. Going to try resetting computer. If that doesn't work I'm truly out of ideas....:(:(:(:(
Well Hello, Camsgrammy! Thanks for the tip, checked it out. But our problem is odd in that we cannot open any USFWS site. We can view the NCTC live feed when it's up, cause it's not a FWS site, but we can't view the 30 sec. cam. It's like we are being blocked, or our computers aren't recognizing their server. Haven't changed anything on my computer to make it stop working, it just happened one day. Thought it was a FWS site problem, but so few of us are having this issue, I'm baffled. BRB

Live-feed still down. Have you called your IP providers, and, asked them why, maybe they can push a button from their place or something.....just grasping at any little thing that comes into my mind, since I don't have the technical know how.

Hi Mits! checking my mail. I've tried getting to FWS sites from every link. I just can't open ANY of them. For some reason, my browser is not finding their server. Something changed that is blocking me, just can't figure out what.I didn't change anything here!

When I was having the same problem I couldn't get on the florida site and a couple of others and our every once in a while but I called AOL and that is what they told me to do and it worked. I was ready to put the computer out the window. Very frustrating.
Well my computer works fine unless I want to open a FWS site. I have no problems with any other cams or sites. Weird..hubby says I have been blocked..why would the fws ban a tree hugger like me? Dana, you have mail:)
