GOOD MORNING EAGLE BUDDIES---I think I may be first---Will give message to others---THANKS STEVEN & NCTC people---Understand your frustration---Hope you understand ours----YOU ARE STILL #1
GOOD A.M. SUZANNE--MAULEY--PAULA & "back to bed"--DANA--ho!--PAULA--Will keep you & your son in my thoughts this a.m.----What hospital is he in?---TAKE CARE--
Missed the osprey---Please educate me SUZANNE----Last year at PA site--We could see the nest where the chicks hatched---All I ever see is the 1 falcon & all the "bloody meat", etc.----Are there eggs?
SUZANNE---Check the sizes of those chicks & tell me which is getting most of the food---ho! ho!---I read in one Lisa's columns that sometimes the older one will peck the younger on the head to keep him from getting any food!
DID you know the VIRGINIA LADY now has TWO CHICKS?---Watched her yesterday----When you go to that sight---on the right--check those falcon sights---SHENANDOAH, etc.--
For Norfolk Va if you right click on the picture, go to zoom, it will make the picture "full screen". It is better to see the egg with. It looked like a small hole in top of egg. 10:10am
Good Morning All All eagles present and accounted for! **On the VA screen, all I do is double click and it will come full screen - just like to NE one.Another double click will take it back down.
Dana - thanks for Steve's message you placed on Momsters.
YES, SUZANNE, love the osprey, thought I had read somewhere that the males come back 1st and then the females several weeks later, when I get time I'll go read Lisa's osprey facts, still plowing thru e-mails:):):).
Adult male Ospreys arrive on their nesting territories a few days before the females. Found at this site: http://www.newyorkwild.org/osprey/osprey_info.htm
a female osprey will choose her mating partner based on the quality and location of the male's nest
So either the males are here an we haven't seen them Or it is a female passing through.
DANA---I read some about the OSPREYS too---A lot like the EAGLES--But I read after the juvies leave nest, but are still hanging around---DAD will stay to care for them & Mom moves out!
SHARON OR JO----BUTA BUTA is asleep on the high log---& LUN LUN is lying on the floor, stretched out, directly below her asleep---Do you suppose she wants to buffer her fall????
HI MITS---I have a feeling that TODAY WILL BE THE DAY!!!----Can't see what she is doing---Kinda like the VA LADY was acting---I will check in & out---Some things I HAVE to do too!----
JO---Maybe a NCTC employee could run over & look under her wings--- ho!------ I think something is happening---she seems to be holding her wings differently----
MITS--Sorry---I put the wrong cam #---Bet he is WARM---It's 72° here---Just took trash out----I can tell him from MEI--If I see his "behind"----He has a white rear! When do you go to ZOO-- tomorrow?
Were there 3 eggs at the VA nest too? I'm starting to think that the 3rd hatched. One of the parents is feeding again, and I saw that both eaglets were off to the left with Mom or Dad paying attention to something right in front of them.
HI PAULA---Glad things went well for your son!----I think it was feathers out of place---I though she appeared to have her feather spread most of the day----Would the warm weather have anything to do with it---
Glad everything is well with your son, PAULA:). I misssed Belle going out of the nest, but got a good pic of LIB coming in, sent it to JO.and yes, the pic I had of 3 eggs looked like something next to them, at first thought, thought it was part of a shell, but eggs still look intact last time I saw them.
A zoom lens would work or just a second camera on a different angle. I like the angle we have at the VA nest so maybe a side angle as well as top down.
I have returned - went right to the 'working' cam and then read your comments. I really was hoping you had a chick while I was gone. Paula, very glad to hear that the knee surgery went well.
They sure are watching that VA nest closely. The parents have been jumpy and when both chicks just fed, they zoomed in on them because the 3rd egg was partially visible behind the chicks. To me, itlooked like there might be a hole or crack in it.
Hard to say, might be my imagination, but keep seeing a dark spot on one of our eggs....could be something, could be grass....I guess it's really too hard to tell w/ the pics so small....
We may have an egg at the Hancock-SIdney nest. Mama was there for a long time and I just saw her act like she was rolling an egg and then doing the "Hornby wiggle" to settle back in. The next cup is so deep that even in the closeup I couldn't see into the cup.
Kate, if that turns out to be true with the Sidney nest - KENT will be the last that we know of to have eggs.
Hey Everybody - Just got back from buying new pair of walking sneakers so that I can hit the treadmill tomorrow full force! lol It is still rather warm outside... (Warm-comfortable)

I saw both in the Kent nest a couple of minutes ago, staring at the spot where they wanted an egg to be, but there isn't. Now she's back on the egg cup with some grasses under her, so maybe she's going to produce soon.
Still haven't gotten a chance to see the VA chicks, and they don't have a night capability....

Hi everyone..wishing you great eagle viewing everywhere
BW IS FEEDING CHICKS.
JIM
I believe it is an osprey on the osprey nest in addition to the fish crow...
Jim
GOOD A.M. GLO & JIM----Lots of EAGLES & FALCONS----Waiting to see the VIRGINA LADY feed---
Our eggs have been uncovered for a few minutes now... no parent in view.
EAGLE NEST ME is beautiful this morning!----Not much wind!!
I can't see our Nest----Not fully open---
Oh yeah, Suzanne..
The lady Osprey (necklace) does only have one leg..I thought she was standing seductively until you said that.
She looks as though she is trying to claim the platform, and she's definitely mature, so I guess one leg is enough...we'll see.
Jim
Morning again Suzanne and Morning everyone.
Norfolk Va Parent gets up slowly and UP POPS two cute heads. She is feeding them now.
Poor Osprey it does seem to have one leg. Been there a long time.
BW Eagle nest Chubs is on the right and Tiny on the left. Although Mom and Dad does see that they both eat. Chubs was born first. Tiny second.
yep still 3 eggs in our nest Liberty left Belle taking over.
Both just flew to nest in Kent
Jim
Osprey gone might be back
HI DANA---Missed the VA chicks eating---Did the little one eat too!----They are hard to see--That is such a deep nest---
1 in nest at KENT---Other one left---Maybe they will have eggs soon!!
I could be wrong but it looks like a hole in the egg at Norfolk Va 10:10am
Yes Norma Tiny ate too. I always have that nest up. The parent see's BOTH EAT.
DANA---I watch that nest last evening when we first saw #2 chick-----Enlarged & it was a real joy to watch her feed the chick---
For Norfolk Va if you right click on the picture, go to zoom, it will make the picture "full screen". It is better to see the egg with. It looked like a small hole in top of egg. 10:10am
Osprey back
SUZANNE---I hope the osprey comes back too----Beautiful bird---What age--do you think---
YEP DANA!---She is BACK!---Check the little eaglets---all cuddly!! Ahhhhhhhh! Mom seems to be resting---
Suzanne have you ask Lisa anything about the Osprey with one leg??
Good Morning All All eagles present and accounted for!
**On the VA screen, all I do is double click and it will come full screen - just like to NE one.Another double click will take it back down.
Dana - thanks for Steve's message you placed on Momsters.
GOOD MORNING ALL, HAVE A GOOD EAGLE, FALCON, OSPREY WATCHING DAY
Morning Jo and Mits.
I did ask some questions of Lisa so I will let you know what she says.
Egg turning at our nest.
YES, SUZANNE, love the osprey, thought I had read somewhere that the males come back 1st and then the females several weeks later, when I get time I'll go read Lisa's osprey facts, still plowing thru e-mails:):):).
MORNING JO & MITS----JO--That's how I was watching the VA LADY yesterday when we saw Chick #2---Most beautiful pic.---
Female Osprey do have necklace.
SUZANNE & MITS---JIM noticed the necklace this a.m. when he checked in---
SUZANNE----Those little BW chicks really like to eat!!---They are REALLY GROWING fast!!
BLACK BIRDS--BW
BIG fish in Norfolk Va nest.
Keep a good eye out their for the "3rd chick" I believe today or tomorrow.
DANA---I read some about the OSPREYS too---A lot like the EAGLES--But I read after the juvies leave nest, but are still hanging around---DAD will stay to care for them & Mom moves out!
Eagle calling out at VA.
Check our nest, does anyone see anything??
SHARON OR JO----BUTA BUTA is asleep on the high log---& LUN LUN is lying on the floor, stretched out, directly below her asleep---Do you suppose she wants to buffer her fall????
KENT 1 EAGLE--on tree---Nest--MT
Not sure, Mits! Just maybe. Need a clearer view of the eggs... It's just the motion of the adult was like a
"feeding motion" MTBR
Norma - That very well could be! They said she did roll over in her sleep the other day and went Boom!
Man, I'm not going to get anything accomplised today, if I don't get away fro this puter:):).
I have an early afternoon appointment so I am asking that you
Keep your eyes on OUR nest
& keep good notes BBL
WILL DO, JO
Belle has got the itchys...
lOOK AT THE BEAUTIFUL SUN, AT KENT SHING ON EAGLE.
see ya Suz,
our cam not refreshing for me....
ok now, didn't refresh for like 3 mins, it did that alot yesterday, than went down completely.
HI MITS---I have a feeling that TODAY WILL BE THE DAY!!!----Can't see what she is doing---Kinda like the VA LADY was acting---I will check in & out---Some things I HAVE to do too!----
WISH she would TURN AROUND!!!
Me too, Norma.
Belle is looking around like she wants to go out for lunch.
That is one hungry eagle at KENT, been eating a long time.
Feeding time at VA.
Both eagles in nest at KENT.
Beware of the cam
My cam wasn't refreshing - I hit F5 - black screen - closed it down - back up - still black screen!!!!
It just came back up
I really need to see what is under
our Belle............
Mine has been doing that for about 45 mins, Jo.
JO---Maybe a NCTC employee could run over & look under her wings--- ho!------ I think something is happening---she seems to be holding her wings differently----
1st born at VA is really stretching up for food now.
THANKS MITS---Isn't that AWESOME---That little fuzz ball reaching up for food-----
Yes, Norma it is a sight to see:).
Belle was just up turning eggs.
Wish the stupid black screen would stop!!!!!!
she's turning eggs again, but lines are interfering with pic.
Leaving for my appointment
BBL
Both eaglets in view at VA.
oppps, one just ducked back down in the nest.
Belle turning eggs again, moving some of the nesting material out of the nest bowl.
MITS---Is that TAI in No.1---"Lying on the ground"---He is so COOL!!
Norma, when I just looked Tai was on cam 2, lying at one of his spots, nice and cool, temp here is 69°
Feeding time for the VA eaglets. Both clearly in view.
OOPPS! got there too late to see them, Jennifer.
Belle turning eggs again.
MITS--Sorry---I put the wrong cam #---Bet he is WARM---It's 72° here---Just took trash out----I can tell him from MEI--If I see his "behind"----He has a white rear! When do you go to ZOO-- tomorrow?
The CO site was blank this a.m.--Still blank---She looked exhausted when I saw her earlier---
Were there 3 eggs at the VA nest too? I'm starting to think that the 3rd hatched. One of the parents is feeding again, and I saw that both eaglets were off to the left with Mom or Dad paying attention to something right in front of them.
YES, Jennifer you are correct, there were 3 eggs at VA this year:). YES, Norma ZOO day tomorrow should be around 75°.
Must be warm at VA, her mouth is open, flies all over the fish.
Afternoon, all. Back home. Surgery went fine. Kid is home asleep.
Was there a switch? That looks like Lib on the nest. And look at the tail on the right - extra white.
Eagle just left, 3 eggs in view
Egg roll
Back on the eggs.
Shift change at out nest> 3 eggs still intact.
Extra white is gone, must have been some feathers out of place
Nope, guess that's Lib!
There is an extra piece of white something in the nest w/ the 3 eggs. Gonna put the pic on Momsters.
HI PAULA---Glad things went well for your son!----I think it was feathers out of place---I though she appeared to have her feather spread most of the day----Would the warm weather have anything to do with it---
I want a zoom lens for next year!
Thank you, Norma.
Yes, Norma, it might. Although I am glad neither of them has looked too warm.
There are other white pieces in the nest, too. One right to the left of her tail...could be bones.
VA LADY--Looked down & one little face--then two were looking directly at her---So she is feeding again---Going to catch up with the BW pair--ho!
1 in Nest---1 on side of tree --KENT
Glad everything is well with your son, PAULA:). I misssed Belle going out of the nest, but got a good pic of LIB coming in, sent it to JO.and yes, the pic I had of 3 eggs looked like something next to them, at first thought, thought it was part of a shell, but eggs still look intact last time I saw them.
CO pic still blank--
Osprey at Osprey nest
And there was a one legged osprey on the osprey cam this morning! Wow, wouldn't be hard to identify her!
A zoom lens would work or just a second camera on a different angle. I like the angle we have at the VA nest so maybe a side angle as well as top down.
That was a 2 legged female osprey
A side angle at Kent would be great...although you've got to protect it from the poop shoots! It would need to be strategically placed!
2 tuckered eaglets at BW...they are really starting to move around, aren't they?
Both eagles at KENT.
Egg roll, now facing 5pm
2 parents at BW
I have returned - went right to the 'working' cam and then read your comments. I really was hoping you had a chick while I was gone.
Paula, very glad to hear that the knee surgery went well.
Late quick nap before dinner. BBL
LOL, Sunny you are correct about that:).
Belle looks very comfy in the nest.
Yes, Sunny they popped right back up, LOL
Jo, Glad it wasn't knee surgery! It was a hernia.
BRB
lots of fish at BW.
JO, YOU HAVE MAIL.
i STILL SEE THE EGG AT va.
I am back
Looking at comments. You mean no more Osprey's sighted at BW Osprey nest??
No hatch of 3rd egg Norfolk??? Ok she was waiting for me to get back lol
No action out of Belle well my guess for 1st egg date isn't here yet. That is why she is waiting.
And I am full of it lol
My "pink kitten does not have the fireplace anymore. She is for summer; smelling the flowers. ( :
They sure are watching that VA nest closely. The parents have been jumpy and when both chicks just fed, they zoomed in on them because the 3rd egg was partially visible behind the chicks. To me, itlooked like there might be a hole or crack in it.
Egg turning our nest
Shoot Belle was off the eggs still 3 showing. Sorry didn't get here in time to let you all know.
Dana, glad the fireplace is gone and the flower is back:). Yes, KATEAZ, they are really trying to zoom in on that final egg:).
I love watching Chubs and Tiny in BW they are so cute.
Hard to say, might be my imagination, but keep seeing a dark spot on one of our eggs....could be something, could be grass....I guess it's really too hard to tell w/ the pics so small....
Earlier in VA I seen small hole in top of the 3rd egg.
Paula I know you are talking about one of our 3 eggs. Can't tell when enlarge pic.
Bet everyone is wondering if Star is going to stay in the nest at Kent tonight.
Both parents in VA and still see the egg.
BBL, gotta go to grocery store
NEW UDATE ON TAI-SHAN
Mits, our little prince is growing right up, acting like a big boy now!! :):):)
Yes, Sharon he is growing up, too fast. How ya doing?:)
look at those chicks in VA.
I think I like the name SASSY for the 1st born at VA, because that's what that chick is.
Ok, so only 2 so far in VA?
so far....
Eagle at osprey nest.
BW chicks ready to chow down again
Mits could you hear the one at VA your calling "Sassy" sassing its Mother? lol
Dinner is over - cooked on the grill - tasted so good. Nothing new at OUR nest this afternoon. Can't be too far away!
Chubs got fed some at BW now Tiny is working his way for the food and parent is feeding him.
Anybody see the egg at VA
Just seen 3 eggs at our nest
No eagles in Kent now
lol...good one Dana:).
We may have an egg at the Hancock-SIdney nest. Mama was there for a long time and I just saw her act like she was rolling an egg and then doing the "Hornby wiggle" to settle back in. The next cup is so deep that even in the closeup I couldn't see into the cup.
Looks like Belle is going to have night duty, unless a switch occurs soon...egg turning
Can't see a darn thing!
KATEAZ, she has been in the nest the whole day, so that is a good sign.
Star is back at KENT, LAYING IN THE NEST.
Kent female has all day been in and out of the nest. Right now she is not in the nest.
Mits what time is on where she is laying in nest. I don't have her in the nest.
Dana - it is still 1 1/2 hours or so till their sundown
Dana, she was laying in the nest an hour ago when I saw her.
The way she has been in and out of the nest. Tonight could be her night. Who knows for sure not me.
I just didn't see her in the nest when I looked that time.
KENT sunset is 7:10 PDT.
They both are at the nest at Kent.
Kate, if that turns out to be true with the Sidney nest - KENT will be the last that we know of to have eggs.
Hey Everybody - Just got back from buying new pair of walking sneakers so that I can hit the treadmill tomorrow full force! lol
It is still rather warm outside...
(Warm-comfortable)

WOW 4 eggs now at JRB...fantastic! Thanks for all the info, Sandra.
Good evening, everyone....
Guess there's still no chick in our nest??
I saw both in the Kent nest a couple of minutes ago, staring at the spot where they wanted an egg to be, but there isn't. Now she's back on the egg cup with some grasses under her, so maybe she's going to produce soon.
Still haven't gotten a chance to see the VA chicks, and they don't have a night capability....
Keep the eyes peeled, Eagle lovers,
Jim
She does look comfy, Jim
Kent needs to stay put now and produce!!!
Jo, I agree...we need to get NORMABYRD in action!
Check S. Cruz now.
Jim
Well, they were both there...changing the guard in the fog and the eggs were visible.
Wonder how they fish in this kind of fog...
Jim
WOW, a little foggy, it seemed to be that way at TH and WE today, but SC was looking kinda of good til now, Jim.
I just checked SC, Jim.
Can't tell which adult it is.
What did you especially want me to see? They sure have zoomed the camera in.
Jim, How about that picture for
on your wall! Beautiful nest!
JIM Look at KENT nest now.
both eagles down in Kent nest.
just one in nest now.
I feel really stupid by not seeing
through the FOG!!!! I thought they had a backdrop! lol
lol....Jo, can you hear the frogs croaking at SC?
WOW that is so peaceful and serene at SC.
Ribbet Ribbet at SC nest.
All 4 eggs are visible at the JAMES RIVER BRIDGE NEST.
I think STAR is trying....
No one at Kent, not in the tree not in the nest, all gone!
I thought she looked like she wanted to leave at KENT.
Star just flew the coop. I guess no eggs there tonight! I love those camera shots. We won't have to miss anything there!
KENT is a beautiful site, can't wait for the action to start.
No I did not hear any frogs.
And you know what, the wind wasn't even making a sound........ oh my
The female osprey down at BW today is really one beautiful lady! Lisa has a picture of her.
Need to place photos into Momster site from Suz & Mits. I'll reutrn to say good night - but you all may be gone by then...... so Good Night to any early birds.....
Well been talking to sister on phone. While I've been commenting and looking at cams. Tired it's nity nity for me.
Good Morning Suzanne.
Don't know where Momma Falcon is tonight at JRB, but 4 eggs are still in sight.
Our eagle looks like it is turning eggs.
The pic of the osprey from this a.m. is just beautiful.
Belle is laying in such a peculiar position tonight.
Good night/Good morning, everyone...
I have a feeling that tomorrow will see a hatchling here.
Jim
Good Night All
