I have a few minutes this morning to actually sit down and watch all the cams. Usually too busy to enjoy any during the day. I am enjoying this morning.

Yes I was catching a peek every few minutes yesterday morning when all the excitement was going on. I think it is going to be an exciting eagle babies season this year. I think the nursery is going to be getting full this year. There is alot more sites to watch this year also.

Those poor Osprey are going to need to do a lot of stick gathering...that nest is almost completely empty of sticks....

NE sure has alot of snow around that nest hole!! :( I know that pair has babies last year 2 of them. So they should know what they are doing. Probably just looks filled in.

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE High temp today was supposed to be 55°, it is already 55°. Birds are singing, plants are popping out of the ground. Just saw the amazing adventures of Dr. Sharpe, was on the edge of my seat the whole time...those eagles have prime real estate out there in Santa Cruz! Have a good one.:)SUZANNE, THEY DID CLEAN THE LEDGE:):)

MITS----Well---He is a "HAPPY CAMPER" then!---I forget how much BAMBOO they said he eats per day---something like 22 lbs.? ---When I was watching--he was wandering around---down & walked in the creek---STILL LOVE HIM!

I thnk ButaButa needs help getting out of the hammock. I didn't see her get into it. Guess she decided to just lie there and get comfy.
NE nesting eagle looks like our Belle did last week...... Hope it stops snowing up there and they get some of our sunshine soon.
ButaButa has 1 foot in and 1 foot out! Hope the cam moves back a little. Just remember that if she falls she will bounce back up!
JO--When I last saw her, she was asleep on the log---I am betting she gets out--ho!---I think they put her in there to keep the little BUTA BUTA busy!--She is so much FUN to watch!----

Belle is having a beautiful day in the nest. She is so alert to everything around her.
Something may be going on, she keeps looking under her, but I did see the chick and an egg last time I looked.
She is enjoying the nice weather, for sure.

Thank you all for your prayers for Tom. He is responding well to the antibiotics, after serious problems with the first two that they tried. He will stay in the hospital until every trace of infection is cleared up. It's a very good hospital, but I worry about hospital infections, but what can I do.
Sandy, relieved to hear the meds are working on that knee infection of Tom's.
I don't think that Mei was as rough with Tai as what LunLun is with MeiLan. IMHO
I don't watch Atlanta much, but was watching her interaction just now, and, she seems to be a litte rough, but I think Buta is a more aggressive cub with the keepers then Tai ever was. He didn't do alot of snarling or growling when he was younger.
ME really having a bad storm. They will need to reposition the cam after it blows over.
NE has it as bad as what Belle did.

Lisa showed a pic the other day, and she thought it was a piece of grass, but if it were grass, with all the movment think it would have rubbed off, the pic I took looks like a crack, but just don't know.

Two gorgeous eagles on the branches at Kent. Lots of activity with the burrowing owls. I saw one spread wings and fly from one side of the hole to the other.
Tom may be on antibiotics for as much as six weeks.

Tom probably will be released Monday or soon after, but will continue IV's at home. They plan to aspirate the knee, drawing fluid, on Monday on order to identify the particular bacteria. They have been reluctant to do this because of the danger of introducing or stimulating infection, but feel that they need to know exactly what they are fighting. So, please pray hard. It helps me.
And it helps Tom, too. I'm afraid I'm not thinking very straight.
Sandy I even pray that all our prayers will be answered for you & Tom. You keep your faith as strong as you can for both of you.

Mommy is still in the hospital. Pneumonia is still there but a little better. She is still not feeling very well though. Please continue to pray for her!

Don't forget, tonight the moon is full. It's the worm moon, called that because this time of the year worms are starting to become more active under the ground. There is a total eclipse of the moon which we should be able to see if the clouds move out. It starts as soon as the moon begins to rise. The moon will become orange. It's worth checking out, even if you miss the beginning due to clouds, it's a long eclipse.

Good Morning Floral Girl, Iris and Sharon, I am already hooked on the little BW princess. I already love her. If you gals will pass the message on, I will be on Spring Break this week and am BABYSitting two of the eight so they dont have to go to daycare this week. I will have them 24-7 until Friday. Could use prayers, because these two are what the family calls "The Rowdy Girls", ages 2 and 3. I am still strugglin with the migraines. I have a preventative I take, and I also take Maxalt when I get one, but seems like they keep getting harder to wear off. Must b e my age. I may not be able to blog much, but I will try to keep up. If anything goes on with any of you that I need to pray for, just email me and I will try to check that very frequently. Big week for you dear Sharon. Wish I c;ould share cake with you. What a difference a day makes, much quieter in MAINE, and the cam is back in position as of late last night when things calmed down, glad the eagles were not in it during the storm.
