Good Morning all. Thanks for new thread Steve No have no problems getting onto NCTC site or any of the FWS site. I fel so badly for those of you who do though..man what a bummer. Think nilla managed to get on last night some way read late in yesterdays thread, unless I misunderstood, which is very possible.
I will say Happy eagle viewing fo rthe week now. Very busy day here , very ealry flight tomorrow, and broken refrg /feezer mess to deal with before I leave as well. Time and energy I odn't have..so catch you all next week. I am sure we will be watching lotss more little eaglets by then.
I will try to do a quick read once or twice otday especially to catch up on those with other things to deal with besides the egle cams. Take care. Hugs and prayers around .
Knock on wood, I've been able to get into the cam and blog for the last few days, but I have no idea what the differences are. I sure hope everyone gets access before the chicks start breaking out.
HI SUZANNE----I wanted that BW egg to wait until today----Wanted you witness this "hatch" too!--ho!----GLO--sorry---FRIG---NOW THAT IS A REAL BUMMER!!!---Have a safe trip! I haven't seen LIVE feed lately---Is it up????
Have a good trip, Glo! Thanks for the live feed info. Dana follow the instructions Nilla mentioned last nite, then click on the live feed link. You will be able to open it cause it's not a FWS site!
Haven't read many of my emails---but JO that video with LUN LUN & BEAUTIFUL BUTA BUTA in the hammock-----NOW WE KNOW HOW THEY GOT OUT!!!---I bet I laughed for 15 min. (almost)!!!---That is the funniest ever!!!
It sounds like people with access problems are local to the nest area...maybe the game has been "blacked out" until all the seats are sold?? Whaddayathink?
Ah, the conspiracy theories... theory doesn't work, Sandra lives closest to the nest and she is seeing the cam just fine. Besides, it is not just the NCTC site that I cannot access, it is every USFWS site there is.
I saw the Santa Cruz pair working in the nest last night, and then they played around a little, followed by mating, but I don't have anything set up to capture the video (yet).
WOW JIM!---I enjoy watching & reading about those 3 nests---Thanks to PAULA'S video---watched Dr. SHARPE remove those eggs, replace wooden eggs & climb back down, etc.---EAGLES are SPECIAL---When SHARPE & others like him go to such lengths to save ONE eagle!! Now that's AWESOME!!!
Thanks for the welcome all... I told Jo via e-mail that they are working on the Saanich site (last year's chicks Victoria and Sidney) and there is a 5 minute delay video there now, but also shots available of how they have placed the cams in the tree. Hope they get the cams working soon; the parents are working on the nest. Here's the link:
LISA has also posted a map tracing the OSPREY'S migration---It follows the trek they took on the OSPREY'S ODDESSY----We watched this on Animal Planet----Thanks Lisa!
DANA, go back and read Kateaz's post. She said as of an hour ago there was still only 1 egg. Co has note updated there page since Jan 24th, at least I can't find any updates. I think I deleted my pics of CO from Sat, but sometimes when you go on their site you can see past pics. HELLO, PAULA:).
I knew some of the falcons from PA didn't make it, but didn't realize the last one was found dead at Dulles Airport, cause of death contact with an aircraft.:(
Yeah, I saw that comment from Lisa, that's what made me think about how I had seen them there on our visit, and it was in March, maybe some will arrive by the weekend.
Was that a switch at NCTC? pic went haywire, but there were 2 in the nest just as picture went wavy. Back to normal now. Sun is shining, but It is really windy here, think it's messing up pic when it gusts.
Hello Eagle World..... Late start today. Had a good nights sleep and feeling well this morning! Thanks for your prayers - they worked! Glad you all can get the live feed since it still hasn't been determined why some of you are being blocked out. Glad you all sent your emails to Steve last night to give him a heads up of the problem. Hello again Kate! Glad you have come on in. Kate is the gal that told me I have a Lucky 13 nests to watch and not just the 12 I had been doing. Going to check some emails - Hope those of you who are watching the still cam will be placing some pics in our Momsters' album!!!
When we updated to the new software for the live feed, that was supposed to end the lock up problems, we found out that the folks that send out the live feed video (in Wheeling) had to upgrade their server software as well...it is always something...
I think it is going to be a problem from the main server of some kind.Dana cleaned her computer & still couldn't connect. I's sure they still are trying to resolve it. We will just need to keep posting pics on the Eaglet_Momsters site.
WOW, that's great about SC and Maine does look serious, I can't keep up with all the eagles, will have to go back to my 1st love, the pandas:), aren't as many as them:).
Kent's eggs should come late (?) March. Mits what did Loraine say? Too many eggs around now!! I need an Egg Calendar so I can calculate hatching without counting on the calendar! lol
Mits & Kate - did you get the pic I sent about my recognizing the Sidney nest? Really a change!
Nope, still can't open the 30 sec. cam. Baffling is right, Jo. Carol, I believe the live feed is down, which is why you can't open it. It was up for a few hrs. today, not sure it ever came back on. The problem some of us are having is that we can't open any FWS sites, including the 30 sec. NCTC cam.
Hooray for Santa Cruz! I missed all the action this afternoon because our internet at work was down. I did get a couple of videos of Liberty and Belle when the live feed was up, going to work on them shortly. Going to see what time the egg was laid at SC and will report back!
Hello everybody. How is it going in the eagle world today.
Megan, thanks so much for my card. What a beautiful eagle!!!!!!!
Mommy has been transferred to HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital in Princeton. She was fighting a little bit not wanting to go and now she is pretty confused over there. Hopefully, she will get strengthened and get her oxygen straightened out so she will be able to come home soon. Just not the same around here without her.
Well, you are very welcome, Sharon! When I saw that eagle eye, I knew it was the card for you. Keeping your Mom in my thoughts, hope she feels better soon.
The WE cam appears to be offline. They think an eagle may have landed on it wrong or knocked it out coming in for a landing at the nest. They do have a box over it, but it must not have been enough!
Hi Sharon. It is an adjustment and can be confusing at times when changes are made. The goal right now is for your mom to be there and get the most out of rehab so she can come home and function well. I guess, though, you feel like it's an MT nest. She'll be home and things will be better then before for her. Prayers for her and all your family.
Not so MT of a nest though, 5 others living here too. Gets a little crazy at times. Mommy needs to enjoy the peace and quiet but all she is worried about is her dachshund, Peedab!
Sharon, I'm sure it will take a little bit of adjusting by your Mom, but I'm sure she'll settle in. That's the best place for her right now, where she can get the care she needs.
Did you two watch the video of the Maine eagle laying her egg. I was grunting.......... Watch it to the very end - because then you'll see proof that there is an egg.......
If you go onto the WildWatch Cams, they still don't have Kent's 3 cams up there. Guess because of Mits' communication with Loraine that we are priviledged!
thnest - It would be the only day I must leave the house...BUS DUTY the an appointment...Well I know there will be fantastic videos awaiting my return.
They don't remove the eggs from any nests on Santa Cruz Island. It is further north and doesn't appear at this point to have the problems with DDT contamination that Catalina Island has. Actually, they are leaving the eggs in 2 other nests on Catalina Island this year to see what happens to their eggs. Some birds have a lower level of DDT contamination in their systems.
good morning eagle buddies! I'll send you some warm weather, if ya want!
Yesterday sure WAS a windy day.....I saw the cam and the tree swaying....it made me a bit dizzy! And every time I looked at Buta Buta, she was asleep on the logs....sooooooooo cute!
Hi Suzanne! Steve was kind enough to mention our problem to the IT dept. But I just can't understand why we are blocked for every FWS site. So strange.
Megan I was on the page for Maine and there is a link for fws. I click on it and dang. Came up Internet Explorer can not display the page. Still have a problem too.
Today is also my niece Becky's birthday. She was born on my 13th birthday. Donna worked really hard to give birth before midnight on my birthday and she did -- at 11:51 p.m. My sister, Beverly, also had a baby boy on my 18th birthday. He died in a fire when he was 8 months old but he would have been 27 today. Talk about some wonderful birthday presents, I have been given 2!!!
Got it ,Suzanne, thanks. Sorry, Dana there are so many cams I can't watch because my connections too slow, and since I can't get into WV and BW is down, I had to go to the owl cam!
Good Cold Windy Morning I am up early due to school delay for Conferences... BUS DUTY! I have been placing photos on Yahoo site(Momsters) for those of you who can't get the cam. I thought the glitch had me last night - but then I got the cam up. REMEMBER: Dr Sarpe today around 4-5pm our time will be replacing the eggs at twnest! Watch if you can. Need to go Nest Surfing and check out all these eggs. Kent & FL(?) & Hancock sites are the only ones without.
GOOD A.M. EAGLE BUDDIES!---I was off yesterday afternoon & WOW---eggs hatching all over---GOOD BUDDIES can't get into our blog---I think we need an EGG COUNTER JO!------1st THINGS FIRST!------HAPPY--HAPPY DAY BEAUTIFUL SHARON!!!!!---HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU----AND MANY MANY MORE!!!!!

I am happy happy for "live feed".
Sending Steve a message about that.
See, Dana, if you look at the web adress, the live feed site does not start with www.fws, that's why you can open it.
Thanks, Glo,

Jim
GOOD A.M.---JIM--PAULA--DANA & MITS----WELCOME BACK NILLA!!!!!!--WE HAVE MISSED YOU----BIG TIME!
HOPE TO CATCH UP SOON!!---SO much is happening---THAT'S A GOOD THING!!-----but a BAD THING when everyone can't get IN!!!!
It sounds like people with access problems are local to the nest area...maybe the game has been "blacked out" until all the seats are sold?? Whaddayathink?
Jim
I still don't have LIVE FEED!!!!
Oh I am enjoying the Live feed. Yes Megan you are right it does not have the fws in the address.
Wow we must be under some kind of attack and Homeland Security it helping us. An here we think we have been hampered roflmbo to that statement
The CO nest is one of my favorites-----Is there just 1 egg there--?
Ah, the conspiracy theories... theory doesn't work, Sandra lives closest to the nest and she is seeing the cam just fine. Besides, it is not just the NCTC site that I cannot access, it is every USFWS site there is.
Glo you are leaving us????
Same here Megan every FWS site can NOT get into
I saw the Santa Cruz pair working in the nest last night, and then they played around a little, followed by mating, but I don't have anything set up to capture the video (yet).

Morning, Mits.
Jim,
You can view the pictures from the SC, WE and TH nests on the forum. From the iws.org site, just click eagle discussion forum.

The year I went to the spring open house at BW, we saw a couple of ospreys.
LISA has also posted a map tracing the OSPREY'S migration---It follows the trek they took on the OSPREY'S ODDESSY----We watched this on Animal Planet----Thanks Lisa!
Mits When Kateaz said that one was laid about an hour ago in CO. I went to Fort St. Vrain link and it opened with one egg laying in nest. So was that egg laid today or Sat.???
DANA, go back and read Kateaz's post. She said as of an hour ago there was still only 1 egg. Co has note updated there page since Jan 24th, at least I can't find any updates. I think I deleted my pics of CO from Sat, but sometimes when you go on their site you can see past pics. HELLO, PAULA:).
Both falcons are at PA..love the WMP this year.
I knew some of the falcons from PA didn't make it, but didn't realize the last one was found dead at Dulles Airport, cause of death contact with an aircraft.:(
Megan,
Lisa said on the osprey cam page that a couple of ospreys have been spotted around the bay area already.
Yeah, I saw that comment from Lisa, that's what made me think about how I had seen them there on our visit, and it was in March, maybe some will arrive by the weekend.
Thank you Mits for correcting me. Boy I am stress alittle here. Husband can't make own dr. appt. and etc. I need a breather. Thought I had it with the cams until in the room he came. Sorry there Kateaz (like the name). I've got it now. 1 eggs laid Sat and still only one egg as of Kateaz's comment. See I've got it by George lol

My live feed just went down
12:48 pm My live feed just went down? How about anyone else?

Well it worked today much better than it has in the recent past...was up for a little over 3 hours...
I wonder if Steve got that software installed and working yet?
I am about to post the pics,Suzanne.
My electricity if 'blinking' - I sure hope these winds don't put me in the dark!

Still only see 1 egg at CO.
BW feeding
Eagle at KENT.
Eagle at the Hancock site
Look at eagle at wenest. She is tenting..guess I go read the comments and find out what is going on..
HMMM, looks like protection mode.
Seems like it extra warm for her.
I am going to take a short afternoon nap so I can keep feeling better...
BBL
Have a good ZZZZZZZZzzzzzz--
2 chicks in view BW
When we updated to the new software for the live feed, that was supposed to end the lock up problems, we found out that the folks that send out the live feed video (in Wheeling) had to upgrade their server software as well...it is always something...
You're right, it is always something. Any word from FWS as to why some computers cannot open their sites?
no other word on the access issues...
I really didn't get to take a ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ. Watched Animal Planet
Carol go to the videos on Panda Cam.
Watch the last one about the hammock. It is hilarious!
Megan - I see your problem has not be resolved. It is baffling to say the least.
CO OWL cam is showing 2 eggs.
Eagle in ME sitting in the nest looks very serious. I wonder??
Just saw an egg in the SC nest !!
Both beautiful eagles are at Sidney - John Hancock site
I think it is going to be a problem from the main server of some kind.Dana cleaned her computer & still couldn't connect. I's sure they still are trying to resolve it.
We will just need to keep posting pics on the Eaglet_Momsters site.
WOW, that's great about SC and Maine does look serious, I can't keep up with all the eagles, will have to go back to my 1st love, the pandas:), aren't as many as them:).
Hooray!!!!!!
Santa Cruz has an EGG
MAINE just did the waddle like there is an egg.
We are having snow flurries in our valley...... I sure hope they don't last... So windy
starting to snow flurry in MAINE also.
Kent - one working in the nest; other on branch
Kent's eggs should come late (?) March. Mits what did Loraine say?
Too many eggs around now!! I need an Egg Calendar so I can calculate hatching without counting on the calendar! lol
Mits & Kate - did you get the pic I sent about my recognizing the Sidney nest? Really a change!
Aren't those 3 cams awesome. I wonder when they are going to make the new url public. Oops! Kate - do you have 3 cams?
Nope, still can't open the 30 sec. cam. Baffling is right, Jo. Carol, I believe the live feed is down, which is why you can't open it. It was up for a few hrs. today, not sure it ever came back on. The problem some of us are having is that we can't open any FWS sites, including the 30 sec. NCTC cam.
I'll be back. DINNER TIME
Hooray for Santa Cruz! I missed all the action this afternoon because our internet at work was down. I did get a couple of videos of Liberty and Belle when the live feed was up, going to work on them shortly. Going to see what time the egg was laid at SC and will report back!
And Welcome, KateAZ!
Yes, Jo, got it, thanks....I need an egg counter.
Paula do you recognize Kate from over on the IWS Forum?
I just saw her first post there tonight. SC egg was laid approx 1:55 to 2pm, according to the observations.
Its going to be nice when SC and Maine hatches, and we will be able to hear the eaglets.
Sharon, she will be OK, I pray, and be back home very soon.
Prayers for her and all your family.
off to fix dinner. BBL.
I would love to see one of our eggs hatch tomorrow!!!!! That would be so awesome, but only if it is time for it to hatch.
Well, I don't want an egg hatch tomorrow, I still can't see the cam:( BW eagle cam appears to be having problems.
Not so MT of a nest though, 5 others living here too. Gets a little crazy at times. Mommy needs to enjoy the peace and quiet but all she is worried about is her dachshund, Peedab!
The osprey cam is still up at BW. The gallery has been updated.
Eagle cam is probably having problems with the wind.
Sharon,
I'm sure it will take a little bit of adjusting by your Mom, but I'm sure she'll settle in. That's the best place for her right now, where she can get the care she needs.
Peedab! What a name! I can only guess at what that means... lol
Sharon - sometimes b-day wishes do
come true! After all we just don't
know when that 1st egg was laid!
I wish with you!!!
Megan - We'll take good pics just in case you are still disconnected....
A Peedab is a marble (according to my dad) but she pees more than a dab!! :):):)
That is so funny, Sharon.
Update on Maine Someone may have posted this but I therefore missed it so here goes again:
And to help celebrate, the Maine eagle laid her first egg.
Here is video (thanks to Judy) of the six minute labor
http://judykb.org/memar507egg.asf
BOTH EAGLES AT KENT
Honest Injun! They were there - on on the limb and one in the nest All Gone Now
I think all my buddies went off to watch a 9:00 TV show or to get snacks..... Going over to play
solitaire........ BBL
I saw them Mema Jo. Beautiful eagles. I love those three shots!
Mom at SC settling in for the night.
Can't find anything that is not a repeat tonight.
Good! Then you can stay and talk eagle talk!
Did you two watch the video of the Maine eagle laying her egg. I was
grunting.......... Watch it to the very end - because then you'll see
proof that there is an egg.......
If you go onto the WildWatch Cams, they still don't have Kent's 3 cams up there.
Guess because of Mits' communication with Loraine that we are priviledged!
lol...,Jo, I was amazed at how quiet she was, and, as usual, the annoying dog in the background...she had such a serious look on her face.
I checked CO, every chance I got today, but still only saw 1 egg.
But NE had 2.
CO as of 5:50 pm there was only 1 egg. Maybe another will come tomorrow.
This is always that hope:):).
Sharon is wishing for a B-Day bird in our nest tomorrow! lol
Wouldn't that be cool.
I think that would be wonderful:):), couldn't happen to a nicer person!
Video of Santa Cruz egg laying
http://www.youtube.com/watch
?v=-_aGhA3cFWA
They are getting the Two Harbors eggs tomorrow, around 1-2 pm their time.
The WE Nest has blown a fuse, it will be back up Wedsnesday or Thursday.
thnest - It would be the only day I must leave the house...BUS DUTY the an appointment...Well I know there will be fantastic videos awaiting my return.
Thanks for all those updates, Paula
Great once again I will not be here for the switch.:(:(
Our eagle is snooozin.
I don't know if I'm going to get to video it! I have a hair appointment at 5 :(
Hopefully someone else will help out from the forum.
That was great video from SC - what a Mom - That egg well just had to positioned right!
Loved it in the beginning when she spread her wings !!!
OK I jumped the gun
1 or 2 their time - means 4 or 5 our time........right?
BW said they hope it is a 'ground' problem with their cam...they are going to work on it tomorrow.
I don't think Dr Sharpe removes the SC eggs. They are going to move the camera in closer.
Boy, Lisa sure is quick to post cam info.
You noticed?
Yes, Jo, you have the times right.
So, tomorrow is the last chance I'll have to see the dear Dr until he comes back to wenest with the chicks!
Egg Roll and position change in OUR NEST
HOLY SMOLY!
I think the PROBLEM just came over the mountain!
Sorry we are having problem opening the page message.........

How does your mouth feel Suzanne?
good morning eagle buddies!
So strange.
Morning Geula nice to see you again ( :
Hey Dana and Geula. Still didn't get the email, Suzanne. Still locked out of the cam site Dana?
Megan I was on the page for Maine and there is a link for fws. I click on it and dang. Came up Internet Explorer can not display the page. Still have a problem too.
Lisa has up alot of new pics on Osprey and when eagle cam page works things updated there too. She is always on the ball.
If you watch the owl cam at all on the cornell site, they have their first egg this morning. Wasn't there when I looked last night.
Good morning, my eagle buddies. Starting to work now but I will be around. Make a good day!
Good morning, Sharon. Happy Birthday to you, Happy birthday to you!!!!
Thank you, Megan. :):):)
Morning Birthday Girl I wonder who it is? ( :
Megan I've got eggs everywhere and now we are adding falcons and owls. I'll never keep up lol

One thing about eggs in the nest, we know where at least one of the eagle pair is at all times. And most of them are occupied this morning.
