Hi Eagle Buds ! Just a quick line to thank you for prayers and concern. Will be leaving for the injection about 2:45---not expecting to feel like reporting this evening, as I may be groggy. And, not expecting much, if any pain relief for 3-5 days per the doc's lit.
Have caught up with all the posts--far too numerous to mention, but I revel in every word posted about our dear eagle family !

Naming these chicklets is going to be fun...we have never I don't think) had to have a contest...they just sortof name themselves. You'll see:)
I was just thinking that we have been blessed with these babies, I think, on purpose, with warm days and nights ever since they hatched. They are getting stronger every day and if we begin to have cold weather again (great possibility) they will be able to withstand the cold (along with Mom & Dad's help). Our Lord knows how much our hearts have been broken and I do believe he is favouring us this year~
BOY Is Jordyn taking a long nap since 12 Angie said let her sleep as long as she can well she is doing it They are going to the hockey game so she will be all rested for it
The only think is I have to get her dressed and ready and leave to have her at Angies work at 430 she should be waking up any min gonna go open the door she may just be awake and laying in there sometime she does that

Been an unusually busy time the past few days. Much going on with unhappy wannabe adults as well as personal decisions needing to be made.
I see the babes have been enjoying the sunshine and Belle has been a great mumbrella. Nice to see some nest-keeping was done to make room for fresh food supplies. Also happy to know that Shep has figured out the feeding part of his job.
Kay, I do hope the injection helps to relieve the pain. So debilitating.
Shirley, hoping the meeting with Hunter's math teacher is productive. Will be much easier for you given your experience.
I wonder if Jerry was "unknown" as of yesterday? Maybe we had a troll.
Andy, so glad you and kubby are having a great time. Continue to enjoy.

After several hours of meetings with the attorney, we have begun to finalize legal paperwork, etc. Then, Darth and I discussed the panthers. After almost six months, we have made a very difficult and sad decision. We have not been successful in socializing them and their behaviors with each other and with us are taking a toll. We will look for a no kill shelter and provide what we can for their care and welfare.
So, I will be leaving school soon, stop for grosseries, and then home to get a bit of quiet time.

Back from Hunter's school. Math teacher gave us a website we can go to for Hunter to practice math skills. It's important because he is to be tested to determine the level of math he will begin in middle school. He has been a good math student, but he tends to rush through his assignments.
Thinking of you and Darth, Judie. I hope you will be joining us in Shepherdstown next month.

We are home from the zoo and Laurel and the boys are headed home. Woke up to rain this morning. That was not in the plan. However, we proceeded on. It was a light sprinkle when we got there, but it soon cleared up. Had to wear jackets as it was cool. It was a fun trip. We really enjoyed the Orangutans. One had a pair of glasses he was chewing on. Yikes! but, while we watched keepers were calling them to a window, offering treats. They were successful in getting the glasses away from them.
Have been sitting here yawning. I think I need a nap.
DanaMo, do you still need a good picture of Belle and Shep? I got some good ones a little while ago when they were both in the nest.

Wow! I just turned the Live cam on and saw a white feathery thing near bottom of nest and it looked like no one was home! White thing moved---realized it's the 2 chicks sleeping outside the bowl. I hope someone is watching from the attic!
There was movement in the attic a bit ago but I haven't heard anything since I got home

Hi everybody at the Sycamore. Haven't read back but hoping health and happiness for bloggers and lurkers, alike.
Hard to believe that, this time last week, A could hardly hold his/her head up, and B was still an egg! Both chicklets have had plenty of exercise today and are getting a good meal - they should sleep well tonight!
The chicks have eaten so much, Belle will have to roll them back in the cup. haha
She's making them come to her. So cute.
Whatta Mom - Belle has coaxed both back into the egg cup and is fluffing the fluff around them!
How so very cute, Belle indicates she is ready to roost and the chicklets go towards the cup and fall right back in there!!!Belle is making the cup wider.
Sandi, I can't belive the progress they have made. I think the warm weather induced activity has brought them right along. Nice they hatched so close together, too.
Has Belle covered the one baby with flugg?
One is under her and the other is covered with fluff!!! SHe sees it and is waiting for it to untangle itself and find its way in under her!!! so so cute.
It is slowly making its way back to get under momma. I think I hear them snoring. JK ;-)

I hope Shep delivers another fish. Belle probably needs some hydration before the sun sets. Would be nice.

I read that SHIRLEY and wondered if it was brought on by the cocaine...I have to admit I have seen so much damage done by drugs to kids in the high school and can imagine what else it coud do with regular use...sad so very sad.
A lot of bad decisions and such a loss.
