Hi, Everyone,
It's so late it's early! Here I go again. So many last-minute things to do before heading for Texas tomorrow!
Right now, I gotta pack up the laptop. Would rather do it in the morning, but afraid I'll forget something important in the last-minute rush!
Goodness, while we're visiting we need to purchase a "stash" of stuff like toiletries, and pack it all in a box marked "for Papaw & Geeyaw ONLY." Would make packing a lot easier the next time!
Right now I need to go pack Emma's stuff for her "Doggy camp." They want EVERYTHING labeled with her name, the food individually packed for each meal in a ziploc bag with her name, the date, and which meal it's for--breakfast or dinner. Her toys need to be labeled with a marker. Ditto her blankets & bed.
Geez, I hope I get some sleep tonight! Need to type up instructions for fixing her food.
She gets kibble with a bit of warm water, mixed with a heaping spoonful of canned that's been microwaved for a few seconds so it's not cold. Gotta label her cans of food, and the plastic can lid. Gotta spend some time with Emma tonight, too! She KNOWS something is up--and she's worried.
I'm glad the nest has settled down again after the intruder today!!!
Major prayers that there will NOT be any drama while we're on vacation! I'll be a nervous wreck!

Well, gotta run. I'll most likely try the laptop when we get to the Hyatt Regency DFW tomorrow night, after 9 p.m. Dallas time. Hope they have a computer hookup in our room!!! Won't see Jen until Sunday morning--can use her smart phone then. DEFINITELY want to keep in touch--you are all FAMILY!
I'm going to set the porch light and both security systems on an automatic timer while we're gone, for the next 2 weeks, so there will be NO INTRUDERS!!!

I even put the link in google search bar and it came up with molting link I clicked on it and the silly thing is doing the same blue circles spinning around and a and the message from my Adobe /acribat/Reader maybe I need to do something to my reader HUH But I found a way to read it Google search has a arrow on the side and I clicked on it and it shows the the page The Wilson Bullentin Cool thanks for the link

Good morning! I was watching Belle. When she got up, I was saying outloud "Don't leave the eggs!" LOL
Had a different time getting on the blog this morning. I clicked on the Thursday and it claimed there were no more posts since late last night. I knew differently, so did the ??? and sure enough, here I am.
Margy, I am clumsy indeed.. I trip, I fall and especially when its around stairs! LOL I think I am safe when I jump in here, at east I hope.
I have talked to mom...she is tired. Not a great night last night for her. At one point she was very antsy..had to take some meds and took a bath to try to calm down. It worked, she slept on the couch some. Hopefully she is getting in her peanut butter this morning. That seemed to help her some the prior two days with her energy and all round well feelings.
Upsetting to get on and learn that Margy has a split personality. Yesterday a Magpie, today a Scarlet Tanager. Hmmm??????

Oh, I often grade papers at Laurel's. I do not grade the essays or anything written out...but if she has a one answer paper, multiple choice, T or F, I can grade those. I also like to make smiley faces on the papers. LOL

I am happy to be back, and it seems that I solved some aggravating problems with the cleanup, so it was worth the effort.
Defragging--actually, I found that my computer does this automatically every week. Guess it was already set up, or Will did it.
So I did some scans and the Ccleaner thing.

As you can see by my avatar, It's a wonderful day in the neighborhood.
Cottage still surrounded by 8-10" of snow, but the side mini-deck is clear, and the sun is so warm.
Good place for a quick nap!.
Thoughts are on those getting SMART, the travelers - may their journeys be safe, our Lynn- as always, Loretta who has a double birthday (does that mean 2 cakes & twice the gifts-how nice), our eagles & soon to be eaglets, those still recovering from one illness or another, the surprises yet to come - :o), and all the other subjects covered on this blessed blog!
For those interested (all others can skip to the next submission - lol): kitchen project is on pause. Bubby is headed out in a few weeks for some turkey hunting. While he is gone I will paint in the pantry and a few other places that I haven't mentioned to him. Extra flooring was in the basement, so that has been taken care of - "click & lock" flooring squares.

My woes are minor compared to so many. New pain meds working well--had a good nights sleep for a change ! Julie is going with me for the back surgeon visit next week--I'll be pleased to have her eyes, ears and voice with me !

It sounds heavenly at your house Shirley. It is exciting to hear KATHRYN and HUNTER stories, and it is awesome to have space and time on your own too I would imagine...knowing you you are doing intresting things...
