Okay, time for me to get busy! Have a great day everyone. Hopefully cam tonight!
Thankfully, not enough of the white stuff to be a problem! Hurray!
Had to chuckle when Andy says she burps Emma! Have only heard Mai burp once. Hiccups are frequent, tho'!
Dana, saw both articles about the wreck. First guy got charged....from what I heard on scanner the children were in a tractor cab waiting for EMS to arrive....but not sure if it was the one involved in the wreck or one that was stopped by the tie-up.
I just have a small planter dish for my birds. Don't like bird baths. Too many large birds ie crows and cow birds. So I had to go out. Stopped snowing, brushed so I wouldn't slip. Put in new water that so far always breaks the ice and filled the new one. Birdies are so happy as I watch them out the kitchen window. They feed then go over and get their drinks. Back and forth lol
I wished I knew the difference between these two woodpeckers. To finger if one is a female and one a male. They have that red head, tan belly and black and whitish on their backs. I use to call them "yellow belly sap suckers". lol

No live cam up yet...the cam looks to be place to the left of the trunk, looking into the nest from what appears to be the "old" 7 o'clock position....great view of the nest!!
I can't figure the look of the nest in the still. Is the back now at the bottom of the picture or is the back the furthest away. Alittle confused here????
Well Nu didn't leave us for this year. Hi Nu!!! Thanks go to John, Keith, Karin, Clayton, Rob, Doug, Ryan and Nu for today. Also for Steve and any others at NCTC that has made this happen for us watchers and lovers of the two eagles at NCTC.
So Nu DID come!!!!!! Guess he didn't retire after all! Good! NCTC monitor pic looks better than what we are seeing on still cam....what does that mean, I wonder?
Thank you Steve and to all the NCTC folks who have worked so hard to get the new live cam up and operating for us. We do sincerely appreciate all the hard work.
Been busy this morning with therapist. He is putting me on "hold" until after I see the surgeon on the 28th. That way, sessions will be covered by Medicare and I keep the same therapist. Just need to keep doing the same exercises which is all I can do with limited mobility of the injured ankle. He thinks the next step will not literally be stepping but things like range-of-motion exercises. I am concerned about mobility as the semester begins on Jan. 11. MTBR.
Im dying inside because I can't be there, too. I have washed my hair, have to curl and dry it and have ribs in the oven for Family Dinner. Hope Jayden likes ribs.
Gene has come home sorta empty handed. There was no crane and no workers. He did get a shot of what might be the new cam. Take a look oon Wild and Wonderful.
Your welcome ladies. Sorry I missed all the excitment of the crane and the workers there. They were all gone by the time I got there. Enjoy the new cam! Capt. Gene
"This is your Captain speaking. You are now entering United States of America airspace." I can just feel the excitement of the Germany gang at that announcement. If they aren't sleeping.
Live feed will continue on the Oudoor Channel. Someone at NCTC will handle the cam duties, hours within reason. Default will be the shot we have right now.
Amazing how much a fall on a broken sidewalk can affect your life! At the sound of being crass, perhaps, a law suit is in order. Sounds like they are making things a little rough on you...maybe it's your turn to get back at their incompetence.
Only 20 minutes - gracious sakes alive. I can remember when it was 20 more wake ups! I could just cry! for joy! Helen said that sometimes the flight is closer than Flight Tracker tells you and that all of a sudden it will tell you that the flight landed.
Each week she expects us a little earlier. Use to be 5pm...them 4pm...now she wants us at 3pm. Try to make her understand that we have to wait til everone gets off from school and work and the food gets done. Bless her heart!
Getting here late today. Emma and I decided to sleep in this morning. Am only able to be here a short while, as I have to go do our weekly shopping at Wally World and a couple of other places. Hubby didn't get enough sleep last night, so will be going to bed pretty early tonight.
Emma has been a very good girl today, and is starting a long winter's nap, so gotta run while I have the chance.
Mema Jo, I'm SOOOOO excited for you! There's nothing like having the whole family return to the home nest! Won't be long at all now! ((HUGS))
Steve and the NCTC crew, THANK YOU for our wonderful new cam, and its spectacular view of the nest! Really, really appreciate all the effort that made it happen!
Shirley, Praying that your Dr. appts. go well, and that you are on the mend!
Judie, Hope you will be ambulatory for the new quarter in January! Keep on keeping on, and you will get there!
Gotta run--will be back later! Be careful, everyone--no tumbles allowed! Take care. :o]
Helen Kalis: Ladies and Gentlemen, pls put you seats in their upright position, turn off all your electronics and fasten you seat belts we will be arriving at Dulles shortly:)
My live cam comes on after the commercial and the view and quality of the cam is great. However, it does pause about every 4 seconds and then off it goes again.
WowEEE!!! Just got home from dentist & shopping & saw all the news! What wonderful nest pictures even tho Live is not running I don't think. Have the dark arrow going around. Was looking for a small Hallmark shopping bag w/ornament type presents. Was on dining room floor up against the wall. Fubby finally asked, "Do you mean this one??" Bag was under the couch! He said Binky, the older cat, had her head in it & scooted across the floor!!!Have to hide everything!!!
On a serious note, I had a VERY BAD drive home. Many roads and parts of roads are a sheet of ice. Several accidents. Very hard in some places to see the ice. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE if you are going out, or even outside, BE VERY CAREFUL. The main roads seem OK though.
Paula, great pic you put in album! Was that Nu that was in the nest photo? I see they mentioned someone named Clayton. Fellow that services our osprey cams at Park is named Clayton. I'll have to ask him if he goes to NCTC.He said not difficult to put a cam on our eagle nest, but upper echelon won't try it---BOO
I missed our eagle??? Boo! I can't see that the light is on....????
Diann, love your avatar of Max, the Little Drummer Boy!
Glad that the worker bees are getting into their roosts safe and sound! Have heard so many wrecks on the scanner today.
Judie, were you affected by the watermain break this morning?? Can't remember exactly where it was---but close to you!! Hope it did not interrupt your service.
OK, just got back from playing with the dogs....cam looks like it's still daylight. I wonder if it's really live yet or on some kind of loop while they work on it, or if it's a light?
Both my cams are not black screens Thankful you saw our eagle, Paula. I was thinking the commotion at the nest today may have kept them away for awhile. I guess they knew it was Nu!
Phone call has come in and kids are on their way up the road from Dulles. That part of the trip I don't think will be as good as the flight! lol
Great reports all the way around, you guys are good reporters! Yes, glad to see Nu is still with the technical crew, takes many people to make this happen, many brave people
Thanks, Steve, and all your crew members, very much
Liked your pic of the eagle in the nest Paula, and yours too Dana, shows the snow in the empty nest, also Gene's on Wild and Wonderful
And Hallelujah, Jo's Reunion taking place right now ☺
earlier, wrecks a'plenty, but mostly outside of Berkeley County think there was a lot of action on South Mountain over in Maryland... and down in Frederick Co, Va.
Lynn - real good teamwork last night on the 4-12 shift during that wreck on the interstate near the 20 Andy said Carolyn did a lot of the "writing" and he did a lot of the radio
so many emergency vehicles and people, very brave effort of all involved working in the darkness of night as they did on the scene
Margy, shutting down the interstate completely was the best thing for the safety of all last night, for sure! Most accidents I've heard were in Jef.f Co, and Morgan Co.....but was sure there were some here, too.....maybe I was hearing things!
Congratulations, Mema Jo!!! What a wonderful thing to have all of your family with you! Prayers of thanks for the safe flight!
Emma was a very good girl while I was out shopping. She woke up when I got home, went outside, and took care of business! What a sweetie!
Hubby and I have to go take care of the bulldogs and finish a bit of shopping. I'll check back in later to see how everyone is doing. Have a nice (and safe) evening! :o]
I got set up to sign on the blog, checked the new cam...beautiful still picture; live feed still no live feed; and then I got side tracked and forgot all about blogging. Hahahaha.
Mai has been a very bad little pup this afternoon....biting and nipping. Doesn't seem to matter how I scold, she just gets worse. Filled up a squirt bottle and will try that next. She just woke up from a disciplinary time-out...went out and now we will see if she will stick with her toys and not my hands and feet.
Kathryn just cooked dinner. I could get used to this.
I picked up some Hamburger Helper, and she's prepared it along with some green beans. I have to have soft foods, but I do crave something filling.
I did not want to go to the grocery store, so I did my shopping in the drug store.
I really look like someone's Halloween costume. Kind of frustrating that I could not get through to the HR person this afternoon to check on getting my glasses fixed and the plastic surgeon approved.
Kathryn said that I probably shouldn't try to wear the contact lenses with my eyes so swollen. I think she might have a point.
Shirley I think Kathryn is right. I would not wear your contacts with your eyes and face so swollen. Sorry Shirley....I hope they get your glasses and the appt. with plastic surgeon as soon as possible this week coming. Oh I feel so badly for you Shirley. You know lots of us are praying for you ((((((((HUGS)))))))))
Jo, love the pictures Aaron posted! Very pretty pictures!
Sat down after dinner, now I can not move. Looking forward to Saturday. Not going anywhere until late afternoon. Then going to Denton to Jacob sit. Joseph is going to the Dallas Mavericks basketball game with a friend. Laurel and Joey are going to the movies. That will be good for them. They need to find a teenage baby sitter. I love to sit but it's a long drive to do too often,
The dentist said that if he'd seen me within hours, he could have moved my teeth back into the proper position. I wish that the ER people had told me that.
My two front teeth are out of position, chipped and cracked. I could need a root canal later on. This is going to take some time.
I will have to say that two medical appointments in one day is enough.
Shirley - I am sorry to hear about not wearing the shades BUT I sure do think you are right! Hugs to you To those who love you and will accept you no matter how your looks change! The others don't count.
Oh Shirley, I sure wish this hadn't happened to you. But I am so glad that Kathryn is there to take such good care of you!
Thanks for the still cam link Shirley and Diann!
Jo, LOVE the pics on FB!
Lynn, Mai IS being naughty but I think that is a GOOD sign that her stress level is lower! Now, just like a bad child, when she nips at you and you scold her, you are giving her a response, even if it's negative. This could result in further naughty behavior. She wants attention....This may sound crazy, but if she nips at you, make a really high pitched sound like a yelping puppy, loudly. And ignore her. Turn your back, walk away from her, don't look at her til she settles. It may take a while, but she'll learn that that behavior gets her NO attention at all. Do that every time and soon she will get the picture!
Jo, when I look at pics of myself before I became, uh, "fluffy", I say, "I still have that body! It's so fabulous that I have to protect under a few layers of fat!"
I was very touched when I found out that Will was planning to take time off from work when Kathryn left to take Hunter to school because he thought I should not be alone at all. Susan assured him that I would be okay.
I was able to convince Kathryn that I would be okay alone for the day. She does not need to miss more time from work, and I expect I will need her later on for some of the appointments.
Okay, pity party time here......I am getting really discouraged now. Mai has jumped out of the playpen, twice. Now what to do??? Trying to find something heavy to fit over the top.....first item isn't long enough. She is sleeping in her bed at the moment.....but, of course, can't trust her to be/stay therewhen I can't have an eye on her. She has also figured out how to jump up on the cot in the office and keeps dragging my stuffed animals off, so guess I will have to bag them up and put them away. Yes, Lynne, I read about doing that. She is so doggone determined that I DO practically trip over her getting away. I did squirt her one time, and that surprised her and she started kisses. I think I'm just going to take the tree down and say heck with it....Christmas has turned into a big mess anyway. Sorry---guess I'm just feeling sorry for myself.
Jo, still can't find the pics of the visit. Cool owl update.
Judie, rest well!!
Shirley, you poor, poor girl---I sure do feel for you. Please feel better.
got home, got the dogs fed, now I have to figure out how to get the trampoline into the house! Wasn't expecting it to be laying in the snow when I got home!
We have good luck with Scatmats for animal control. With the dogs, we don't even have to turn them on. They are conditioned. George is a different matter. He seems to know when they are not turned on.
Well, little heartbreaker just made up. I got a kiss bath!! She cuddled nicely for a few minutes and then I put her back in her bed. But it will be downstairs to the crate shortly so I can take my bath. No shows on tonight....my Tom is a repeat. :(
Well, it was a thought, Lynn. You have some tree there. Mine isn't nearly that big. I wouldn't have room for a large tree.
We put the tree in the living room, which is off-limits for pets. We don't spend as much time in there, but we would've had lots of issues with a tree in the room where Flash could get to it.
Seems silly to complain when Judie and Shirley hae really serious injuries, but my hands and wrists and feet and ankles are covered with scratches, little cuts and bruises, and they hurt. Add to that the fact that I burned the roof of my mouth on a pierogie and it is now a big blister..... I won't bother y'all anymore tonight. Sorry....no one to talk to. Tomorrow is another day. Prayers for all.

I just have a small planter dish for my birds. Don't like bird baths. Too many large birds ie crows and cow birds. So I had to go out. Stopped snowing, brushed so I wouldn't slip. I wished I knew the difference between these two woodpeckers. To finger if one is a female and one a male. They have that red head, tan belly and black and whitish on their backs. I use to call them "yellow belly sap suckers". lol
Its belly is plain tanish or greyish.
The top of head to beak red down to back of neck.
Wanda.....are you going to NCTC?????
I have the Hairy and Downy woodpecker.
I am thinking after look at pictures on the computer. That they are both males and they are Red Bellied Woodpeckers. I'll have to go check their size out.
I was checking out woodpecker pictures. Heard this terrible noise thump thump. Thought two woodpeckers had hit the deck. Looked out and there is a neighbor two streets over cat!!! This is the 3rd time. If it keeps up I guest I will have to get this spray. It is suppose to keep them away and spray it on the deck where they are climbing up.
our cam is on!!
I have a picture of our nest on the still cam!!!
Going to check for live cam.
Its a different view....I have the still cam on right now
No live cam up yet...the cam looks to be place to the left of the trunk, looking into the nest from what appears to be the "old" 7 o'clock position....great view of the nest!!
Germany gang is better than halfway home!!!!
I can't figure the look of the nest in the still. Is the back now at the bottom of the picture or is the back the furthest away. Alittle confused here????
Anybody out there??? Do you recognize which way is the "take off pad"?
Steve has a pic on the front page of the blog.
Well, well, well......NEST!!! And no gorilla tape!!! Let's hope no Boris, too!
Dana, read my post above. The launch pad is now at 3-4ish
So right now that limb sticking up in the back will now be 12 o'clock.
Right?
The launch pad is inbetween the two tree trunks on the lower right of the still pic.
So, we shall get to see Lib perching on the back of the nest better :)
We also have considerable zoom in ability. We are still working on getting the best possible picture. That will still take some time.
3 or 4ish would be around the picture of the pine trees on the ground with new cam. Am I getting this right Paula?
Dana, yes, I would say that limb/trunk at the back would now be 12 oclock
Steve, when will the live feed be back on?
The view looks great!
Ok Steve you guys do your thing and thank you (:
Dana, I would say the pine trees are between noon and 3
WOW! There is snow in our nest
That big limb that was laying on the right side of the nest is gone
Would love to see the cam set up! Hope Steve gives us some pics of the cam up in the tree.
The cam is up - I'll need to get use to the view. Come on HOME birds - we all need to see you!
Germany gang is Half Way Home. Whoo Hoo
I thought that was Nu!!
Update 2
Many thanks to John, Keith, Karin, Clayton, Rob, Doug, Ryan and Nu for their efforts today.
I am following you Paula.
A big THANK YOU to NCTC crew, crane crew, and treeman extraodoranair NU!
Please excuse any misspelled words!
The view gives you a nice sense of the shape of the nest.
Father Capt. Gene is at NCTC filming the operations. Hope they turn out well. Also hope Mr. Guard let him go through:)
So Nu DID come!!!!!! Guess he didn't retire after all! Good!
NCTC monitor pic looks better than what we are seeing on still cam....what does that mean, I wonder?
Wahooo! A nest! Now all we need are eagles!!!
Still no live cam. It looks like a very clear picture. Is the tree to the right the limb the can used to be on?
Lynn, the monitor picture looks too good to be true!
I think we will not know how good is really is on the still cam UNTIL we see an EAGLE.
"it" really is....not is! Grrrr!
Thanks to the crew and thanks to Gene for going to film for us!!!!
Was only going to take a peek, I really need to head out. See ya! Happy Cam watching!
STEVE and gang....thank you so very much. You have a lot of happy Momsters and Dadsters here! And if Momsters are happy, everyone is happy!
Good late morning, everyone.
Gene went? Way to go, Capt Father Gene!!!!!
I sent around in email a view of old nest and view of nest for today 12 10 10.
Im dying inside because I can't be there, too. I have washed my hair, have to curl and dry it and have ribs in the oven for Family Dinner. Hope Jayden likes ribs.
Is someone going to monitor when hatch time comes and use the zoom feature, Steve?
I added a picture of the still cam new view of nest in the Eaglet Momsters album.
Thanks Steve - hope the live feed comes up for me soon.
A BIG thanks to John, Keith, Karin, Clayton, Rob, Doug, Ryan and Nu for their efforts today.
Hedgie-Lynn I am thinking we will have a "zoom" feature that we will be able to use on live cam. May be what Steve is telling us????
Thank you Capt Gene for being there and filming it all for us.
Gene has come home sorta empty handed. There was no crane and no workers. He did get a shot of what might be the new cam. Take a look oon Wild and Wonderful.
Wanda in the 2nd picture it almost looks like they cut a piece off that one limb. Maybe it was too damaged to save??
Looks like that to me too, Dana.
Yup, Wanda, that's the new cam. Looks like they did some tree trimming while they were up there!
Tell Gene Thank You!!
Click to enlarge photo, Dana and it looks like a fresh cut.
Will do, Paula:)
Yep Wanda that is what I had did and why I thought that.
Thanks Gene for going out in this cold and for the pictures. I have saved them in their own album. Pictures Gene took of new nest 12 10 10. ( :
Can you all find 'Lib's Limb' ?
Thanks Gene!
Your welcome ladies. Sorry I missed all the excitment of the crane and the workers there. They were all gone by the time I got there.
Enjoy the new cam!
Capt. Gene
Taking a break -
Half way home - they are half way home!

Helen just advised me that:
2 hours 52 minutes to go, they are over land now....should be coming into US airspace soon:)
Thanks Gene for taking the pictures and Wanda for posting them. I left a comment.
Thanks, Gene. You are a real dadster trooper!!! How were the roads??
"This is your Captain speaking. You are now entering United States of America airspace." I can just feel the excitement of the Germany gang at that announcement. If they aren't sleeping.
Jo, looks like the kids are over Newfoundland now!!!!!
Right Lynn! Glad they're over that ocean!
Right Dana! - that will perk them up!
I have the bunch of balloons waiting!
We did trim some dead limbs. The tree has deteriorated significantly since last year.
The cam can be zoomed by us only, sorry, but it will allow close ups.
Steve - if you are still there-- Who will be the office 'cam zoomer'?
Who is providing the 'live feed"?
Okay, Steve.....kind of assumed that would be the case.......will someone be manning the cam at crucial times?
Judie, glad therapy went well. Take it slow. When do you see surgeon again?
TWO MORE HOURS, JO!!!!!!!
Live feed will continue on the Oudoor Channel. Someone at NCTC will handle the cam duties, hours within reason. Default will be the shot we have right now.
Thanks for the info Steve!
Live feed is up!!!
Looks like the kids may be over US airspace now, Jo.
I think they are still working on it, but could be just me, some spinning arrows at times.
Are ya'll taking panda naps??
ONLY 1 HR. TO GO BEFORE TOUCHDOWN, JO!!!!!
And that's only 447 miles!!!!
I've got it, Paula.....but was very slow to open!! Only runs a few seconds and then spinning arrow.
Please be still my heart ♥
49 mins or 363 miles until wheels down
I'll try the live cam once I get the kids on the ground........
Hi Jo. I'm here to join your countdown.
The nest cam is up and running, I see. Nice view. I do keep getting the circling arrow.
Saw two doctors today. I'm being referred to a plastic surgeon and I've got more dental appointments.
Is that snow in the lest and below it?
I need a panda nap. I will return later. I took a pain pill awhile ago.
Generally doing okay, though.
149 miles....26 mins!

That was one smooth flight, Lynn
Can't believe they took off late and landed early! Tail winds must have been with them OR a hot dog pilot!
I am doing my happy dance!
WhooHoo!!! Our Mema Jo better come in for a landing, too!!!! She's been up in the clouds for 8 hrs.!
LOL, Jo, don't dance too vigerously, it may snow, again!
Happy, happy!
hearing some sound blips...cam still circling a lot for me.
Not sure about dinner tonight, roads up north were icy earlier.
Jo, glad they touched down safely.
Jo, yippie! Won't be long now.
There's cameras with pictures on them! Now we need birds.
Many thank yous to those that braved cold weather to do this job today. Thank you again.

Yippee!!! The cam is on. Just thought I sign on and see what's going. It's a great sight.
Is the rotating arrow, though it doesn't interfere with the nest sight, supposed to be there?
Now, I have to catch up.
bbl
Paula, you lucky duck! They came & went while OI was writing!
Congrats to Jo on Arrival of Germany Gang!!!!
Thx, Steve and all the crew for this wonderful Xmas present!!! ☺
Hi Diann, I think they still need to do some tweaking, but ain't it GRAND!!!!
I am getting more circling arrow than live feed, hope they can get it straightened out next week.
I did get one pic, will put in album.
Wow! Yea, Paula! So glad you saw an eagle. Wondered who would be the first.
My live feed is up but it runs for a few seconds and then stops. It is on again, off, on again, off.
Paula, was the eagle on the live cam or still cam? I missed it.
Still cam is still pretty bright, but starting to get darker
I saw it on the still, Diann.
Night light just kicked on
Well, must leave to make something for the guys for supper.
Sorry, forgot to say "hi" to everyone.
thanx Paula, will check in later.
Oh! eagle on live cam
Why no eagle on still cam? Odd.
Now, must go ....
Think there is something wrong with live feed, just brought it up and it's very daylight looking
Now still cam is pretty dark, not sure about the night light
Well, gotta run, heading to dinner, catch ya'll later
I missed our eagle??? Boo! I can't see that the light is on....????
Diann, love your avatar of Max, the Little Drummer Boy!
Glad that the worker bees are getting into their roosts safe and sound! Have heard so many wrecks on the scanner today.
Judie, were you affected by the watermain break this morning?? Can't remember exactly where it was---but close to you!! Hope it did not interrupt your service.
I think I will just post a smile for todays GREAT STUFF :-)
OK, just got back from playing with the dogs....cam looks like it's still daylight. I wonder if it's really live yet or on some kind of loop while they work on it, or if it's a light?
Geminid Meteor Showers next week!
Geminid Meteor Shower
No light on my still cam....totally dark. Live cam must be frozen----image is flickering badly. Definitely more tweaking needed.
OutdoorTV updated their message. Ongoing maintenance. Join us in 2011 when the eagles return........duh! THEY never left!
Both my cams are not black screens
Thankful you saw our eagle, Paula. I
was thinking the commotion at the nest today may have kept them away for awhile. I guess they knew it was Nu!
Phone call has come in and kids are on their way up the road from Dulles.
That part of the trip I don't think will be as good as the flight! lol
now I've got a black screen, with arrow every few seconds.
can someone send me the still cam link please?
Still Cam
Afraid there is nothing to see there, though, Lynne.
Lynne, see if this works.
http://www.fws.gov/nctc/cam/stillimage.html
Geez, both cams are dark. Guess no more eagle sightings today.
Back to making the supper.
... later
Glad to see I wasn't imagining things!!
Have fun, Jo!! Hugs from all of us!
And Hallelujah, Jo's Reunion taking place right now ☺
earlier, wrecks a'plenty, but mostly outside of Berkeley County
think there was a lot of action on South Mountain over in Maryland...
and down in Frederick Co, Va.
practically no accidents in Berkeley County....
Good Evening Eagle Pals !
Hi, Margy!
I haven't seen any snow here, but it sounds as if plenty of you got some today.
Hi Shirley!
Well, a skiff of it in Berkeley County, but a few inches down near Winchester...so I heard...
glad you got your things done okay today, hope that everything will work out in the best way, that you deserve...xo ♥
Lynn -
real good teamwork last night on the 4-12 shift during that wreck on the interstate near the 20
Andy said Carolyn did a lot of the "writing" and he did a lot of the radio
so many emergency vehicles and people, very brave effort of all involved working in the darkness of night as they did on the scene
I got a report of snow in Rappahannock County, Va.
Margy, shutting down the interstate completely was the best thing for the safety of all last night, for sure!
Most accidents I've heard were in Jef.f Co, and Morgan Co.....but was sure there were some here, too.....maybe I was hearing things!
Hi, Gang,
Just checking in quickly.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
HOWDY, HOWDY.
I hope you had a good day.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
I got set up to sign on the blog, checked the new cam...beautiful still picture; live feed still no live feed; and then I got side tracked and forgot all about blogging. Hahahaha.
C(°ٿ°)D Jim
I have a black still cam.
I have a black live cam with a arrow going around and around.
No pictures on either one.
The WE cam is working again, and it looks like the eagle pair have made a lot of progress on building their nest since I last saw it.
C(°ٿ°)D Jim
That's what I have now, Dana, but this A.M. the still cam was working beautifully.
They have mounted it to a different branch at a different angle, and you can see the whole nest, and more.

Jo....don't see the pics on FB----except the two of you as a young lady that Aaron put up! Love them!! You're so pretty!!!
Good evening!
No, no water problems here. Was about 5-6 miles away up near Columbia Pike and Gallows. Next surgeon visit is 28th.
Very happy about the cam and know all the glitches will disappear pronto. Again, thanks so much to all the hard workers who made this happen.
Jo, enjoy the first evening of having the German gang with you. I hope you will sleep soundly but suspect you will still be too excited. Enjoy!
It is early but I am headed back across the hall to my recovery bed.
So, have a nice evening everyone and I'll leave the night light on.
Lynn Look now on my profile page
Judie you take care and rest that foot plus rest yourself so you have some energy. Maybe a dish of ice cream. (:
Hi,
Kathryn just cooked dinner.
Good to hear from you this evening, Judie. It sounds like you are getting better every day.
Lynn - be so careful that Mai doesn't
trip you up! Does have a little growl when she tries to nip at your feet?
Shirley do you wear your shades to cover your black eye(s)? I just hope
you don't feel too uncomfortable!
Someone cooking for you is great!
Jo, I didn't wear the shades because the rest of my face is so messed up that two black eyes don't make any difference.
Great catch of the eagle in the nest Paula.
Thanks, Dana. It will take awhile, but I will be okay.
New Pot Plant Owl comment
Hugs to you
To those who love you and will accept you no matter how your looks change!
The others don't count.
It will heal, Jo. Just lots of scratches, scrapes, bruises, swelling, and, of course, the crooked nose. I am working on it.
It's so fabulous that I have to protect under a few layers of fat!"
heading for shower, maybe some hot chocolate! In case I fade out, prayers for you all and have a good night!
Going to see the raptors tomorrow at Soldiers Delight and will take the camera!!!
Well, it certainly looked like the nightlight was coming on at our cam, then it went dark!
I sure hope we have one!
Lynne, I have been getting a little "fluffier" recently.
It's Steve's fault I'm fluffy. That's my story, I'm sticking to it!
I don't have anybody to blame.
Maybe you should put the tree in the playpen, Lynn.
We have good luck with Scatmats for animal control. With the dogs, we don't even have to turn them on. They are conditioned. George is a different matter. He seems to know when they are not turned on.
Well, I got that sucker in the house, box a little frozen, should dry out over the weekend. Thought it was coming next week!
I can see tomorrow morning is going to be fun, getting the dogs thru the snow into the car to go to the kennel, ysy.
Well, little heartbreaker just made up. I got a kiss bath!! She cuddled nicely for a few minutes and then I put her back in her bed. But it will be downstairs to the crate shortly so I can take my bath. No shows on tonight....my Tom is a repeat. :(
Shirley, so sorry to hear about your injuries and the plastic surgeon visit. Is that for the nose?
Yes, it's for the nose, Paula.
Agree with Lynn about the attention, turn around and don't pay any attention to her.
Can you get a baby gate and put her in the kitchen or another room?
Shirley, playpen isn't big enough for tree.....it's a pack 'n'play....38x26. Tree circumference is probably 8 feet!!!
LOL----I think a lot of us are a bit fluffy! Like that term!
Sounds like you didn't have any chance at all to brace yourself, Shirley.
I like that "fluffy" term too!
I think I would have broken my arms if I'd tried to brace myself. I have a little bruise and a small scrape on my left hand.
Sorry for you scrapes and hurts, Lynn. You deserve sympathy, too.
