Hunter and I are having a discussion this morning about the correct pronunciation of the word "corps" as in "Marine Corps." He is trying to explain to me that I don't know how to pronounce the word. Cute kid. Still has lots to learn.
God Bless You All, on this, The Day that the Lord has Made.
My sister Anne is returning to Her Roost in Annandale, Virginia, this morning, via transport ambulance....lots of special arrangements and round the clock care being set up....
We are still praying for a miraculous recovery to full health.
I have to head out now, full schedule ahead, and a midnight shift tonight also
Good morning! 54 here this morning but headed up into the 80's. Have not decided if I am going to make it to church or not. So much to do with the trailer!
Annie is so happy, purrs non stop! She was in our face at bedtime, finally let us fall asleep and then she slept at my feet all night. At 6 she was in my face again, purring and saying pet me. Got her to go back to sleep and then at 7 a repeat.
Yea!! We go to Denton this afternoon! Happy Halloween everyone! Do not let the spooks getcha!
Margy, so happy Anne is going home. That will be good for her, no place like home. Prayers will continue for her healing.
Did not see the finish of the TCU game last night. We were so ready for bed and headed that was early in the 3rd quarter of the game. TCU won 48 to 6. Way to go FROGS!
Good Sunday Morning! My one clock automatically changes when the time does BUT with all changes as to when it takes place - my clock was thinking that today was when we gained an hour. I was fooled!
Good news to hear that Anne is going home. I hope that atmosphere will help her regain her health! I am sure you are excited, Lolly to see you little goblins! I don't have any big plans for the day Jenny just stopped by to visit before having to head to WalMart!
Good Halloween morning. Seems strange for it to fall on a Sunday.....seems almost sacreligious, if you know what I mean!
Margy, so praying that Anne does well at home and regains some more physical and mental equilibrium. Sorry you are stuck with a MN shift. You and Carolyn will be ships passing at the witching hour.
Shirley, tell Hunter that there is no more confusing language than American English. Tell him not to confuse CORPSE with corps!! Appropriate for Halloween!!!!!!
Temps went up during the night. Woke up around 4 and was so warm...looked at thermometer and it was 54°. Wind was blowing from the south. Now it's partly cloudy, 57 and wind is coming from the west......temps are supposed to drop through the afternoon.
Lynn, to be truthful I am not ready to think about Christmas - All the stores are ready for it. I have to concentrate on Thanksgiving and then will be Home Coming for Germany Gang. Then I start to fill the stockings! Christine's comment on FB was very touching and so sad when she said... "This is a day I will never forget, nor my husband. He lost three great friends 4 years ago today. They will not be forgotten." That is so sad to hear from a family member - Pray for Peace............
Phoebe, the Hummer, is near finishing her new nest. She was just there, adding some cobweb, turning around and around, forming the inside with her feet, and then trying it for size in several directions.
Just realized my goof.....I'm still a week behind!!! Need to put the LIONS IN THEIR DEN!!!! Goodness, so many critters on my radar that I'm mixing up my lions and bears, oh my!!
Happy Halloween Everyone!!! Thank you Paula for great video! Love Margy's pics! See that Redskins are on, but I hear CARS GOING AROUND IN CIRCLES!!!!! Will have to head downstairs. Jim, that hummer egg was faster than Panda cub!!! Jo, prayers for your Ger. gangs loss of friends.
They're alll sloppy, Loretta. 2nd half starting. Score is 13-7. My delete----I put the wrong score down before.....duh! Was looking at score from another game while I was typing. I need to concentrate more on doing ONE THING AT A TIME!
Michael and Laura left a short time ago...they forgot their tomatoes and candy! Played outside with the dogs and put out the Halloween stuff...nice day out there, a tad breezy, hope it dies down for Trick or Treat tonight. John Ajay and kids coming down for trick or treat, parade and some pizza here afterwards.
Gotta go get some more stuff done! Haven't had a chance to watch the Skins game!
McNabb has stunk today. Geesh. Why not just hand the Lions the ball??? What a crock. THey'll just keep it on the ground or fall on it to run out the clock now. What a disappointment.
Just puut a "Trick or Treat" LOL pic on above all the others. Love my pumpkin, but had to put the "Spooky Eagle" on here for today!!! Gotta go check FB game---
Dear Jo, I read with sadness your post of Christine's facebook comment...so very sad... thank you for sharing, gives us yet another opportunity to pray so very hard for Peace
I would love to have trick or treaters...always enjoyed it before...but nap time approaches, and, we don't get many here at the apartment anyway...kids go to the fancy residential places and load up
Rus has a friend who lived for awhile in an apartment in a rough neighborhood. He said kids ran down the hallways yelling, "Give us candy!!" I would not like that one bit.
As I was saying, I hope they have fun. Kathryn wants Hunter to enjoy the things she plans, and sometimes he can be very stubborn and refuses to participate. It's frustrating for her.
Had to get out of the recliner. I almost tipped it over on myself trying to get out, then almost tipped the lamp behind it over.
Just had a group of young people who said they were trick-or-treating for a baby. I asked what kind of candy the baby likes, and the girl said, "I don't know, since he can't eat any of it." The baby is 4 months old! I said that I didn't think the baby would be eating the candy, and the kids laughed.
Well, Bret Farve has gotten hurt. Hope he will be okay. He is pretty amazing to be 41 years old.
Shirley, you might use from the start up menu the Search & Find for pictures since you named it ...... Good Luck and please don't fall out of your chair and break the lamp or worst yet your leg or arm!
Oh! Over on FB from Friends of Blackwater: In honor of Halloween, we're posting a wonderful shot that Bob Quinn took at Blackwater Refuge showing Mother Nature's clean-up crew -- the ever popular Turkey Vulture. But don't ever sneak up on a vulture, because when startled, they induce vomiting! And they're not the only ones -- herons, gulls, and terns do it as well. So just admire them from a distance. Happy Halloween!
Did not check the blog before sitting at the cam w/my dinner plate, starting at 6:21! After 10 minutes thought I better check and see Shirley got a glimpse of them earlier. So glad they were seen. Guess they might be coming earlier now w/sunset. Just think, we only have one more week of daylight before dinner!!! BOO Shirley, love your trick or treaters getting candy for the baby!!! We haven't had any goblins yet---fewer & fewer each year and sometimes none!
I tried the search feature and did find the picture, but it is not still showing up when I try to upload it to the blog. But it is there, so I will get it.
I tried the search feature and did find the picture, but it is not still showing up when I try to upload it to the blog. But it is there, so I will get it.
Loretta, I just was able to look at the deer pics - they are such magnificent animals. The foliage on the trees are beautiful. Pedro is a cutie and Binky knows a bird when he sees one.
Susan went home yesterday complaining that her ear was hurting, then called me last night to say that it was still bothering her and wondering what she should do. I told her to find an emergency clinic and have them look for an ear infection.
Would you believe the college clinic is closed on Sunday? Would have thought they would have been open at least a few hours. Anyway, she had to wait 2 1/2 hours at an emergency clinic to learn that she does have an ear infection.
Was looking for the Steelers game and saw both Pres. Bushes in cart going across the World Series baseball field! We just had one group of trick or treaters!
Well, I will be around for a little while longer. Kathryn said there are still lots of little kids out there.
Just had a six-foot (or more) guy and his girlfriend. I gave her two pieces of candy, then he looked me as if to ask where was his. He even got his hand into my candy bowl. Said he wanted the M and M's. I let him have an M and M and one other, but he still wasn't satisfied.
I told him that I had already given him more than I was giving little kids.
Geesh! There are gangs around here. It makes you wonder.
Royal Couple Halloween pic is great, Shirley! I saved it.
I can't believe it's only 8ish! Guess 'cuz we ate at a reasonable time. Fixed liver and onions, mashed potatoes and Brussel sprouts. If you enjoy bitter things, why not have 2? LOL Wonder if the Ellis family is watching ballgame? In what ever city they are in!
Thanks for posting my picture in the album, Jo. I did have one from this morning, too. I took advantage of the frozen image and copied it. I don't know if anyone else got that one or not.
Hello there... Been running behind all day, from getting ready for church to getting settled down here for the evening. Would you believe we had customers this afternoon, begging to get into the shop? We did let them in and made a little extra money to add to our total:)
Speaking of trick or treating, Jayden's Mother took him out for a while last night. I have no idea what he wore. If I had known Rachael was taking him out, I have several cute costumes he could have worn. Wonder who will eat the candy:) I'll post a photo if I am sent one.
Kids around here are off Monday and Tuesday, too. Hunter will have to go to the sitter's because I do have to work. I have a professional development day and a parent conference day. Tuesday is noon until 7:00 PM.
I went out to gather up the items we did not want to leave outdoors overnight and there was a tiny girl standing there. She looked like she might cry. I gave her some of the good stuff. I do have some left over. Kathryn bought plenty.
BWE cam is being tested ...Here is the Nest Update
10/31/10: At this time, we're testing the Eagle Cam feed in preparation for the new season. We expect the eagles to begin preparing the nest in late November
It is to return DECEMBER... It is on on the Africam..
Watching both games and will probably konk out! I think any age can wear a costume and sometimes we might look that way when we're not wearing a costume!! Love your pictures, Paula! Time to say Pleasant Feather Dreams and Prayers for all.
If you're going to work at Midnight, Margy, have a quiet night despite the goblins! ☺
Paula, you can wear costumes as long as you have the Spirit of Halloween. I think Lolly was wearing a costume this evening giving out candy. Hopefully there will always be costume parties!
Paula's pictures are full of fun people, all are too cute, but Gianni is the winner:)
Speaking of TABOO,Jo...we had to sit through our yearly lecture from our Pastor this morning about the evils of Halloween and how people celebrate the PAGEN Holiday and it makes him angry. Every year, he forgets that I use some of the profits from our HALLOWEEN shop, to buy the turkeys for the church's Thanksgiving dinner. Hurts my feelings, but I have been going to that church since I was a child and I wont walk out because my Pastor thinks differently than I do.
lol When I said "There is a certain age where Halloween costumes are taboo" I was referring to youngsters, like Brensin did Not want to wear a costume.. "Taboo" was not the correct word!"
Jo, there is a time in boy's lives that they don't think it is cool to wear a costume, usually 11 or 12.
We ran into Nilla at Ryan's restaurant this afternoon. She said she may stay overnight with Dana when she brings her back home from her knee surgery. That would surely make Dana feel much better about the whole process. She should have someone there to make sure she is alright for the first day. Bless Nilla!
Thanks, Paula and Jo! Been quite awhile since I had an attack. Sure I'll be fine by morning. Wanda, I get a bit irritated when ministers start talking about stuff outside the church....had one at First Presby (after Dr. Slider retired) who tried to tell us how to vote! Goodnight to you all. Hope no candy tummy-aches.
Lynn, don't think I have any suggestions to make you feel better. As soon as it was discovered I had gall stones, they ripped the bladder out and I never had a chance to have a bad gall bladder attack. I was in the hospital for another ailment when the stones were discovered. Well, you are the Nurse here, so maybe you know what to do. Hope the discomforts leaves soon♥
GOOD NIGHT EVRYONE SLEEP WELL AND LONG PRAYERS FOR YOU ALL
Oh, Lynn, so sorry you are not feeling well. Sure hope you are much better tomorrow.
We are home, had a great time in Denton. LOL Jo, that was Laurel in the sheet and mask. You could see mild duds in the bowl. We had to laugh at your comment.
Joseph came running when we arrived, he is our 10 year old sweetie. He has always come running, Jacob, well, he is a stinker. He ran and hid. He loves to make a game of it. They had a ball trick or treating. The guys walked with them. Had many children...some fantastic costumes. Get a little irritated with the too big kids. Laurel was answering the door in her costume, but if it was little ones, she took the mask off. We had some funny responses to her. The man next door was dressed as Santa and was answering the door "ho ho ho happy halloween." Too funny!
I think Halloween is really great. Kids love dressing up, as do adults. It is not evil, it is good wholesome fun. I hate it that people try to say it is evil, etc.
Well, I am heading to bed. Nite all! Sweet dreams! See you in the morning light!
I'm glad you got to see our eagle pair, too. They're just sitting there and looking around. Wish the still cam would unstick itself so I could get a better picture!
Good Morning, Andy... Still cam is no changing and I haven't been able to get a picture from the LIVE screen...won't work for me:( Glad you got one! They are beautiful, aren't they?
I'm trying to get caught up on the blog. See that Margy's sister Anne got to return to her home roost! That is wonderful! Praying for a steady improvement for her. Being at home should help.
Mema Jo, sorry to read of Christine and her husband's loss of three friends in Afghanistan 4 years ago. Such a shame. Prayers for them, for sure.
Jim, glad that you were able to witness Phoebe's egg-laying surprise! Isn't she amazing?
Lynn, hope your gallbladder decides to behave itself! Hope you're feeling better this morning.
Looks like Wanda has made a run for the kitchen. Think maybe I will too. Hear some birds chirping near the nest now. No eagles at the moment, though. BBIALW....
The light at the end of the tunnel is just becoming visible. I have some more papers to read/grade then another heart test at noon. Will return late this afternoon.
My new avatar "the Lovebirds" courtesy of Mema Jo!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANDY!!!!! Hope you have a spectacular day full of love and fun (and not too much algebra!)
Missed our pair this morning....drat! Glad Wanda and Andy got a look!
Read that Margy's sister is going home! Prayers that she will continue to improve!
Lynn, I sure hope your GB is behaving today.
Sure hope Susan is feeling better today as well.
We had a busy weekend...including going to my friend Tracey's surprise birthday party Saturday evening...she was truly surprised, although she did think that a couple of thing were strange over the past week. Just not enough to make her think was getting a party!
Coffee in hand and just scanned a photo of the Nest Visit of appx. 7:17am and put it on EM album. They were so beautiful, had to share that with you all. The process of grabbing a photo off the Live Screen is too long and drawn out. Instructions say to select PAINT then choose EDIT, but my PAINT screen has no EDIT. So, I gave up and scanned it. I wonder if I will ever learn to do all those fancy things, like the LIVE SCREEN GRAB or BLUE THINGY?!
I enjoyed reading the Halloween updates and seeing all of the pics, too! As we live off the beaten path, we had no trick or treaters except our neighbor/landlord family. They were "Goldilocks and the Three Bears"! Mom and Dad were Papa and Mama, Kelsey, age 31/2 was Goldie and Jake, 1 1/2 was baby bear.
We took Bad and Worse for a walk way out back and past the property here on Saturday. We were out for almost 3 hours (twice as long as it should have taken, but since I only can move at "the Speed of Lynne" these days...). I'll put the pics up later, but Puddles and Daisy were digging fools! And we discovered that Daisy can jump like a deer! We also saw a Monarch!!
wow Wanda, that's crazy that your "Paint" doesn't have an edit!! I don't know how that can be!
I used to keep a little sticky note with the blue link sequence stuck to the computer, but it didn't take long to get it memorized...BUT, if I don't use it for a while, I still have to look. You just type like this
WOW, a 3 hour walk! You and Steve should be so healthy with your daily dog walking:) Can't beat walking in the fresh air and sunshine for your health, of course a meal of Liver and Spinach helps too:)

I will tell the others if they are awake yet.
Got some things to do this morning.
Looks a bit quiet on here.
Going to check on the eagles.
Quiet at the nest, too. I don't see any action there now.
A bird chirping at the nest now. Not an eagle, though.
George and I are in the recliner. I hear stirring upstairs, though.
We had frost yesterday morning. I don't think it was as cold this morning, but it is chilly out there.
Good Morning Eagle Pals
Thanks for the new thread Steve...
and the alert, Shirley
Well, the still cam is stuck on 7:24 BUT it is stuck with an Eagle showing on the nest ☺
Live feed is okay, the nest is empty on that one...
GREAT EAGLE VIDEO PAULA...THANK YOU !!
Best wishes for a good Sunday and a Happy Hallowe'en everyone
xoxo
Good morning, Margy.
Haven't checked the still cam.
Hunter's up. I have to show him Helen's new Halloween card on FB.
Guess I just missed a visit this morning. There is an eagle frozen on the still cam. I made a copy.
Good morning all! Beautiful morning here! Going to try to get some "fall" yard chores done today.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Had a great time at the party...got home way late and slept late!
Jo, you should have gone with Jenny......hear that WalMart ALREADY has Christmas stuff out! Ridiculous, isn't it?
Margy, glad to hear Anne is going home...wishing her a good recovery!
Lolly, glad Annie remembered ya :)
We didn't have a freeze the other night, but I picked the maters....now gotta put them in some bags to ripen...will send some home with Michael.
Gonna have another cuppa and work on fixing some breakfast!
Thanks for posting some pics on FB from your Halloween Party, Lindsay! You looked great, Paula, and I bet you had fun!
Headed for some street clothes and an outing.......
BBL
That is so sad, Jo. I assume that was in Afghanistan or Iraq? Prayers for them all.
Afghanistan, Lynn.

Happy Halloween, Jim. Check Momster mail for your card!!!
It's GAME time. GO 'SKINS, PUT THOSE BEARS IN A DEN!!
Phoebe, the Hummer, is near finishing her new nest. She was just there, adding some cobweb, turning around and around, forming the inside with her feet, and then trying it for size in several directions.
C(°?°)3 Jim
Oh, oh. I just looked at the nest again, Phoebe is gone, and there is a hummingbird egg in the bottom of the nest.
C(°?°)3 Jim
No new word from Zoo Atlanta.......wonder if anything is happening????
That was sure a quick egg-lay, Jim!!!! So glad you "saw" it!
Just realized my goof.....I'm still a week behind!!! Need to put the LIONS IN THEIR DEN!!!! Goodness, so many critters on my radar that I'm mixing up my lions and bears, oh my!!
Well. darn, phone just died......wonder if net is down, too....this is a test.
Ok, thank goodness, that worked!
Game tied 7-7.
Skins 10-7.....1st half almost over.
Am I still talking to myself?
No, just came back inside & Fubby checked the score for me!!! He said they're a little sloppy.
I'm here. Didn't know the game was on.
They're alll sloppy, Loretta.
2nd half starting. Score is 13-7. My delete----I put the wrong score down before.....duh! Was looking at score from another game while I was typing. I need to concentrate more on doing ONE THING AT A TIME!
Kathryn brought over the Halloween decorations from her house. I posted a video of one of them on my blog.
I'm not sure we can keep the skulls operational when small children are here. May have to put them to one side and invite children to venture over.
14-13 Lions. Boo!
Turnover. Redskins have the ball!
Kathryn and Hunter are on pooper-scooper duty. That is important. We will have lots of little ones running across the yard.
19-14, SKINS!!!!
Well, gee, Paula, you'll just have to eat those maters yourself!! Candy will keep.
Yay, Skins!
On our way to Denton. Laurel called and said "get here fast". The boys were driving her crazy wanting us there. Sp nice to be loved!!!
Touchdown Lions.
20-19, Lions
20-19 Lions......boo, hiss.
Touchdown, Skins!!!
Lolly, bet those will be some nice hugs :)
Way to go Skins!!!!
Lynn, might just try to mail the green maters and candy!!
25-20, Skins!!!
And just like that, it's 25-20, SKINS!! 96 yd. return for Banks!! And missed a 2 pt. conversion, for the 2nd darn time.
D--N......,,28-25...Lions....Just over 3 mins. to go. Now we GOTTA at least tie it up.
McNabb has stunk today. Geesh. Why not just hand the Lions the ball??? What a crock. THey'll just keep it on the ground or fall on it to run out the clock now. What a disappointment.
31-25.....less than 2 mins. Can the Skins do it? Sorry to say, NO! Aha---bringing in 2nd string QB.....that has worked before!
Sacked, fumbled, recovered by Detroit and scored. Shoulda known.
Sorry.....nobody else to "talk" to or gripe with!
Just puut a "Trick or Treat" LOL pic on above all the others.
Love my pumpkin, but had to put the "Spooky Eagle" on here for today!!!
Gotta go check FB game---
At least they missed the PAT. 37-25.
Bye-week for us next week. Thank goodness.
Sorry, Lynn. Believe it or not, I dozed off.
still cam is unstuck ☺
but the eagle in the hazy morning light is not there anymore....
Dear Jo,
I read with sadness your post of Christine's facebook comment...so very sad...
thank you for sharing, gives us yet another opportunity to pray so very hard for Peace
Loretta...I like that avatar !!
Oh, to forget tomatoes and candy!
That's rough! (ref Paula's comment earlier)
Getting some trick or treaters now..
Kathryn and Hunter are off on adventures. It's just me and the dogs on the home front.
I'm ready for the trick or treaters. I moved the skulls over a bit. We will see how it goes.
I had the door open for a little while and George made an amazing escape. He had to have lept over the scat mat and the pet fence.
I would love to have trick or treaters...always enjoyed it before...but nap time approaches, and, we don't get many here at the apartment anyway...kids go to the fancy residential places and load up
Best wishes all for a safe and fun night....
I'll be watching the nest for a wee while...
xoxox
I will probably have a good crowd.
Rus has a friend who lived for awhile in an apartment in a rough neighborhood. He said kids ran down the hallways yelling, "Give us candy!!" I would not like that one bit.
I do give candy to the big kids, but I expect them to be polite.
Breezy at the nest right now. I see no eagles.
Seeing the works of Boris now.
No sign of Kathryn and Hunter yet. They were going to visit a friend who does a hayride. I hope t
Two eagles!!!!!
Both poofed!
Got a picture, though.
As I was saying, I hope they have fun. Kathryn wants Hunter to enjoy the things she plans, and sometimes he can be very stubborn and refuses to participate. It's frustrating for her.
Our eagles came in together. Stayed for only a couple of minutes.
Would not have been looking if Margy had not said she was going to watch for awhile. Thanks, Margy. I guess you've gone to take your nap.
6:00 and the trick/treators are arriving. So Far it's been Dorothy and Indiana Jones!
I love Halloween!
Well, shucks! I guess I did not save properly. I can't find the picture.
No trick-or-treaters yet. I need to turn on the light now.
Great, Shirley that you were watching and got to see the Royal Couple.
Does George go far when he escapes?
Hi everyone. Time just got away from. Did I miss the visit today?
Margy, wonderful news about Anne. Hope & pray she continues to recuperate.
Lolly, so glad Annie did disown you. I love it when my cats purr.
Must catch up. Max & Teresa left for VA about 3:30 and have to pick of Daddy (Bob) and Jared, go trick&treating then on to Chesapeake.
Have had a terrible headache for a month now and a back ache from playing with Max, but I loved every minute.
bbl
George does not go far. He sniffs around and sometimes eats some grass.
Making my pot of coffee BUT I am thoroughly checking out the pot since Lynne found a stink bug the other day.
I've had a Piggy, Spider Man and a Jedi.
We don't get very many but we always buy ample amount of candies just in
case.
just a quickey. Shirley, I wouldn't come near your door with that.
BTW, were the Skins playing football? I agree with you all. Youngest was really upset with them. Maybe he'll watch the Steelers with me tonight.
Dana and Lynne2! Did you hear, they play tonight.
back to read the blog...
Sometimes I save a pic and wasn't looking where it was being saved. You
may find it accidentally! lol
Yes, that happens to me, too, Jo.
Trick-or-treaters are coming in large groups now. They like the scary skulls.
Jo, I even named it--"Halloween"-- so I could find it. So you would think it would be there.
sorry, Lolly, I meant didn't disown
Had to get out of the recliner. I almost tipped it over on myself trying to get out, then almost tipped the lamp behind it over.
Just had a group of young people who said they were trick-or-treating for a baby. I asked what kind of candy the baby likes, and the girl said, "I don't know, since he can't eat any of it." The baby is 4 months old! I said that I didn't think the baby would be eating the candy, and the kids laughed.
Well, Bret Farve has gotten hurt. Hope he will be okay. He is pretty amazing to be 41 years old.
The dogs are going to be plumb wore out with all of the excitement.
Shirley, you might use from the start up menu the Search & Find for pictures since you named it ...... Good Luck
and please don't fall out of your
chair and break the lamp or worst yet
your leg or arm!
Oh! Over on FB from
Friends of Blackwater: In honor of Halloween, we're posting a wonderful shot that Bob Quinn took at Blackwater Refuge showing Mother Nature's clean-up crew -- the ever popular Turkey Vulture.
BOO
Shirley, love your trick or treaters getting candy for the baby!!! We haven't had any goblins yet---fewer & fewer each year and sometimes none!
I do have the picture saved. Just need to figure out how to access it from the blog.

Shirley - too much candy gal - you are repeating yourself! lol
I hope Dana is getting a lot of trick/treaters to give away all those candies. What she say? Enough for 300 Wow......
I need to address some cards for the mail tomorrow - and write one or two
checks. So I'll be back.....
Okay. The picture is posted. I don't know what was happening. Maybe it wasn't saving, but I could paste it because I had copied it.
Haven't put it in the Momster's Album, though. Someone who is better than I am at that is welcome to do it for me.
Yeah, Jo, sorry about the repeat. I always have to log back in when I delete, so I decided to leave it this time.
I might have some left-over candy, but I have had a lot of little ones. They mostly came in large groups with lots of adults, which is good.
A little unusual for an adult.
Puppy dogs have gotten into their puppy dog beds. They had an exciting evening.
I am ready to turn out the lights and go upstairs. I am sleepy. Got to get up early tomorrow.
I put the Halloween Night pic of our Royal Couple in the Album, Shirley.
Really a good capture. Thanks.
Was looking for the Steelers game and saw both Pres. Bushes in cart going across the World Series baseball field!
We just had one group of trick or treaters!
Well I guess I am not writing checks yet! They call for Frost tonight and
sunny tomorrow. Great fall weather!
Loretta, the game is on NBC.
Starting now. Bye
LOL
Wonder if the Ellis family is watching ballgame?
Our local kids are off school Mon and Tues. Quite a long weekend for them.
Hubby and I voted early at the senior center.
Kids around here are off Monday and Tuesday, too. Hunter will have to go to the sitter's because I do have to work. I have a professional development day and a parent conference day. Tuesday is noon until 7:00 PM.
Culpeper kids were off on Friday as well. A really long weekend for them.
I went out to gather up the items we did not want to leave outdoors overnight and there was a tiny girl standing there. She looked like she might cry. I gave her some of the good stuff. I do have some left over. Kathryn bought plenty.
Nice to be able to vote early.
Tomorrow should be somewhat relaxing. We can dress down and don't have to arrive early or stay late.
Nice of you to let the last-minute customers in, Wanda. I hope they appreciated it. We certainly appreciated your letting us shop on Sunday.
Now I am ready to go upstairs. See you tomorrow.
BWE cam is being tested ...Here is the
Nest Update
10/31/10:
At this time, we're testing the Eagle Cam feed in preparation for the new season. We expect the eagles to begin preparing the nest in late November
It is to return DECEMBER...
It is on on the Africam..
http://www.africam.com/cam.php?ID=baldeagle
Checked the little owls~~~only see one in the pot.
No baby Panda yet. Someone wrote that when born, they are 12-15 cm & baby was only 8cm on Thursday.
Good Night Shirley......
Wanda - there are those who procrastinate .. Last minute decision to go to a costume party.. You are such an angel making their plans complete.
Loretta, your eagle reminds me of a
Grand daddy eagle! lol
The little owls have been exploring all over the place. They are all there even if you can't see them.. like in behind the pot.....
If I missed any news, did Sissy go home? Or are they going to do something?
Trick or Treat
Smell My Feet
Give Me Something Good to Eat!
Sissy went home on Friday!
She has a hiatal hernia
Had plenty of trick or treaters here, got rid of all the candy!
Went to the parade...no contest afterwards, and no cider, cake or apple bobbing...lots of disappointed people!
Loaded some pics on FB, will load some here as well.
Thx, Paula. I knew she had hernia, but didn't know if they were going to do something or not.
Den Updates
Loved the pics Paula. There is a certain age where Halloween costumes are taboo.
Posted Halloween pics on my Paula's Prints blog...
Loretta, think they are doing medication for Sissy. She went to her convention this weekend.
OK Jo, at what age do I have to stop wearing Halloween costumes, LOL
I have more than a few elderly customers who party and wear costumes and just have such a good time choosing their favorite.
lol When I said "There is a certain age where Halloween costumes are taboo"
I was referring to youngsters, like Brensin did Not want to wear a costume..
Time for this old head to hit the pillows.
I was waiting for Lynn or Lynne to return - Margy has to go in at midnight.
Turn your calendars my friends...
NOVEMBER begins at midnight!
Good Night All
Prayers for All
Hugs for All ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
I'm here, Jo. I have been feeling very uncomfortable since dinner. Think MY GB is acting up. Have been dozing off and on ever since.
911 hasa been exceptionally quiet tonight---at least when I was awake. That is probably a very good sign for H-night!
Gotcha, Jo! Kinda like getting them to sit on Santa or the Easter bunny's lap!
Thank you Wanda, I think she's a keeper :)
Lynn, hope it calms down for you!
Today was my dog Boo's birthday. He is 8. They are worn out from today, LOL. Me too. Gonna hit the hay!
Hugs to all ♥
Good Night Hedgie and pray you will
feel better in the morning. I was just getting a little worried as to what was up....
Night Paula and Wanda and all others yet to turn in.
Prayers for all.
GOOD NIGHT EVRYONE
SLEEP WELL AND LONG
PRAYERS FOR YOU ALL
Oh, Lynn, so sorry you are not feeling well.
GOOD MORNING...
We have an eagle in our nest...not good enough viewing to take a photo.
Both are there now, just looking around.
Good Morning, Everyone!
Guess what--EAGLE IN THE NEST!!!--MAKE THAT TWO!! One's hiding up at 12:00, under Spidey's webs!
Wow, what a wonderful way to start the day!
Hi, Wanda,
I went ahead and took a picture anyway.
Not very clear, for sure, but if you enlarge it, it helps.
They sure are a sight for sore eyes, aren't they?!
The still cam time seems to be stuck at 7:25.
How are you this morning, Wanda?
I'm glad you got to see our eagle pair, too. They're just sitting there and looking around. Wish the still cam would unstick itself so I could get a better picture!
Poof, and Poof! Sure am glad I showed up when I did, and got to see them.
Good Morning, Andy...
Still cam is no changing and I haven't been able to get a picture from the LIVE screen...won't work for me:( Glad you got one!
They are beautiful, aren't they?
Well, that was a nic visit...about 30 mins.
I'm glad the winds are not blowing at the nest today. Looks like it's very still.
I can't get a picture from the live cam either, Wanda. Wonder if they are working on it.
Yes, Andy, the wind is very still and it is 39°. Only going up to 53° today. Winter is on it's way!
My coffee has been brewed for 45min. Afraid to leave and miss something. BBL
Shirley,
Praying that Susan feels better today.
Know what you mean, Wanda! I need to go get some coffee, too, but am afraid to leave.
Looks like Wanda has made a run for the kitchen. Think maybe I will too. Hear some birds chirping near the nest now. No eagles at the moment, though. BBIALW....
Good morning, everyone.
The light at the end of the tunnel is just becoming visible. I have some more papers to read/grade then another heart test at noon. Will return late this afternoon.
Wishing everyone a great a.m.
Good Morning all!
Just not enough to make her think was getting a party!
have a good on Judy!
ALSO put morning visit photo on my Wild and Wonderful.
After I had a few sips of coffee, my brain kicke into gear and it said to wish Andy a ...
♫♪♫♪HAPPY BIRTHDAY!♫♪♫♪
HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY, LADY!
Just took a glance and want to wish Andy a very happy birthday. Sure hoping you will do something special.
wow Wanda, that's crazy that your "Paint" doesn't have an edit!! I don't know how that can be!
I used to keep a little sticky note with the blue link sequence stuck to the computer, but it didn't take long to get it memorized...BUT, if I don't use it for a while, I still have to look. You just type like this
THEN YOUR TITLE HERE
WOW, a 3 hour walk! You and Steve should be so healthy with your daily dog walking:) Can't beat walking in the fresh air and sunshine for your health, of course a meal of Liver and Spinach helps too:)
HAHAHAHAHAAHAHA!!!! Don't use those instructions....it made a blue link even though I didn't put the right info in!!! UGH!
