I'll never forget Annie-Marie's 1st year. Her brother wanted grits. I knew Betty's was good food and offered grits. Called Betty's got the hours and called Annie and gave her the hours. That man was a HAPPY CAMPER at Shepherdstown. lol
It was funny cause Megan was doing a list of places to eat. Hadn't put Betty's on yet. When I mentioned it. Mits wrote something like "I don't want to eat some place that doesn't have good food". I had told her I would never give a place that didn't have good food. Well later Megan listed it on her list. I just rolled in laughter cause now it was a good resturant. That Megan is the GIRL TO TRUST and I mean that with LOVE!!!!
Mits I am going to miss you this year!! That little baby boy is going to have a great birthday Oct 23rd.
Raschida's name came from a picture of a girl with her name under it. I contacted her and ask her what nationality was she. She was Cherokee Indian. Since Cherokee Indian is somewhere in the ancestry of her heritage. We choose that name then used my grandmothers first name as her middle name Ann.
Good morning! Safe traveling, Lolly and Jack. A bit busy here.....courthouse this afternoon for hearing on the awful horse woman. Ran out of printer ink, so need to get to Office Max to replace so I can finish our name tags!! Will try to read back, but won't check back in probably until this evening. Hope everyone has a good day.
If you all mis-spell her name it is ok. Hard one to spell.
So the horse woman is going to get the horse poop slung at her huh? Sure hard time busting rocks for the rest of her life. Yea right...oh well the system is what it is.
Yes Lynn I think we all are what you said "Happy Granny Riffe didn't end up back in hospital".
I must have missed something about Grannyblt's son. I knew one time I had him on my prayer list. Can anyone tell me what is wrong? Anyhow Prayers until I find out more. God YOU KNOW...
Good Thursday morning everyone. Can't believe I will be with most of you tomorrow. I have to go get a new do this afternoon. I need to read back on previous thread to see what is going on with everyone. Hi there Dana - Thank you Steve for the new thread. Hope everything is coming together for the Open House - see you there.
Add my son to the list of gall bladder--pancreas problems. They did exploratory surgery last week, but couldn't remove the gall bladder because of infection and adhesions and scarring from previous injuries. Pancreas is in bad shape too and he may have to have it removed too. He says that pancreatic pain is the very worst.
God you know this person more than we do. You know his needs, his cares, his pain and his life. You have a plan for him. I pray that you can help him and his Mother in his time of need. Care for Grannyblt (I think it is Lynne) but you know for sure with that LOVING HEART YOU HAVE GOD. Amen
Happy Thursday to Everyone!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Dana's Raschida & Bev's Tom!!!!!!
Gotta get my act together today & get everything ready for trip Sat., since I work on Fri. I'll listen this PM for shouts from Lolly at Harper's Ferry!!!
Prayers for GrannyBLT's son, Margy's Anne, Jim's Cindy and all in need ☺ ♥
Thank you, Steve, for the new thread. Get some rest -- we will be descending on NCTC Saturday.
Prayers for Tom, Dana's son, Cindy, and Mrs. Riffe. So glad Mrs. Riffe is not back in the hospital.
Happy Birthday, Raschida!
Yep, bet the travel home is rockin' and rollin' down the road to Harper's Ferry.
Would like to have the horse woman given some significant penalty. Hard to believe a judge would let that slide.
Have customers this morning because there is an assignment due at 5pm tonight. Told the wannabe adults I am running away from home for the weekend -- emails will not be answered -- yippee!
Learned Faye is already on depression meds. Wonder if she has been taking them? A friend was to be taking her home today for a few hours. Hopefully she will shower and dress.
Also hope Faye is taking the meds. They don't work immediately but could help if she stays with them. Some of her behavior could be caused by depression.
Okay, will be on my way home soon. Will try to get chores done so I won't face that when we get home Sunday.
Jo, are you getting your "do" did to impress Darth?
Thank you, Steve, for the new Thursday thread. Have a good day.
Oh--sorry, Dana! HAPPY BIRTHDAY to RASCHIDA--did I spell that correctly?--(not Rochelle)! Sounds like she got a super surprise with the cake, and hope her day was special. SOOO good to have you here this morning! ((HUGS))!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY (55TH) TO BEV'S TOM!! Hope your day is a great one!!
Say, GOOD news that Granny Riffe has avoided the hospital. Hope she feels better very soon, and that the broken bones are healing properly and quickly. Prayers, for sure!
Prayers for GrannyBLT's son--hope he feels better real soon!
Lynn, glad you have a lot to keep you busy. It helps. ((HUGS))!!
I need to get going. Have to go to school late morning today to finish and hand in Practice 4 homework and take a Proofreading and Terminology test for that class. (Is this quarter over yet?!) Need to time this right so I get to the computer room when they're not conducting a class there. Better scoot--will be back later. Oh--have an Algebra class from 6-10 pm tonight, too. Later, alligators! Have a great day! (Judie, bet you can't wait to get away from the big schoolhouse!) :o]
Cindy returned home late in the evening yesterday, carrying oxygen and a hookup of some kind where visiting nurses can administer the daily antibiotics into her bloodstream.
She sounded tired but happy to be home ... needed something to eat ... when I called.
She mentioned 6 weeks of antibiotics, but she's on the road to recovery.
Thanks to everyone for their prayers and caring comments. I'm sure they were very important factors in God's equation..

There is a Resturant called Yellow Brick Bank Resturant 201 W. German St. 304-876-2208 I know food is suppose to be good might be pricy don't know. I forget what President or Presidents wife came and ate there.
Megan jump on here and put your eating places for Shepherdstown on.
OK, Lolly, I am getting ready to wash and set my hair...is it safe to do that? :) Hope you like your campsite in Harpers Ferry...lot of History in that town.
Home now and happy to have a couple of days away with lots of wonderful friends.
Dana, thank you for the location of Betty's. We will be at the Comfort Inn and it might be a good place for lunch. Directions actually have me coming in on German St. Now, if I can just find Sheetz!lol Also, thank you for sharing June's email. I know she misses Karen.
Jim, glad Cindy is home and hope that will help with her recovery.
BE ADVISED....THERE IS no JUSTICE FOR ANIMALS IN BERKELEY COUNTY, WV. The woman pled guilty to ONE count of animal cruelty and was "sentenced" to time served and a $1000 fine. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT??? We are just sick. Supposedly there will be a restitution judgment upcoming......suppose THAT remains to be seen. I would like to put her in a corrall/paddock with those 53 horses and 2 cows and let THEM mete out justice.
I wish everyone who had ever taken a horse to her so called "rescue" and then found out what was REALLY going on would file a suit for the pain they have now, knowing what happened to their horses that they turned over to her in good faith. I would be FURIOUS.
HELLLL00000000000000OOOOOOO, LOLLY AND JACK...Your are just an echo away from us:) Have a great evening and a good night's rest and we'll see you tomorrow:)
I have go put my bedroom closet back together. Up through the top is the only access to the attic crawl space. Had to take EVERYTHING out today because landlord had insulation guy come to give estimate to blow insulation in up there. Good opportunity to put some stuff away for the winter.
I know it is bright and full looking but officially it is full on Oct 22 - Friday evening. However Megan said " Full Hunter's Moon Saturday, so we definitely could get a frost here Sat morning if it's clear. "
okay, got to start doing like Loretta, getting a few things ready tonight since I work 8 am to 8 pm Friday let's see, camera, Eagle beads, friendship bracelet, Eagle Scarf...door prizes... forget-me-not seeds for any who wants them...
appreciate all the food and dining news, think I am locked into Tuscany, NCTC cafeteria, Tuscany...now, there's always breakfast Sunday to ponder !
Yes, we did not see eagles, but I saw a nest and was happy! Also saw two deer. They gave us a lousy site so we complained and we moved, therefore we were running a little late. New site is better. Heading back now for Jack's well deserved beer.
We are in the trailer now and more than a little unhappy with this park. The KOA book says they have cable. So, we assume cable. WRONG, they have only 26 sites with cable. The first site they put us in was so unlevel you would not believe. We have had reservation since May, you would think! Oh, well, I am not going to be here that much.
We are thrilled to be here and thanks for all the welcomes!!!!
Get this - Helen saw on FB Animal Advocates of West Virginia To all interested parties: Tomorrow morning at 11:00 AM, in front of the Berkeley County Court House, will be a press conference in reference to Mary O'Brien's plea out deal. Seems as though the PA, Kim Crockett, never read the case or the evidence.
oh that's crazy Jo... how could it possibly be? A travesty for sure...
This is one of the biggest and passionate cases in Berkeley County !! thanks to you and Helen for the info " Journal Junction " is going to be Lit Up !! (that's the anonymous gripe section of the local rag)
SORRY THE ACCOMMODATIONS ARE NOT SO CHOICE, LOLLY ...NO FAIR !
Wanda, Lynn, Jo.... Was wondering if the Saturday traveling agenda for the Eagle Express could be reposted...I did just read through the Open House emails and cannot find it ! Please and Thanks..
got to visit a few bubbles and some hot water, ttfn xo
Here's a real shocker....... Tomorrow morning at 11:00 AM, in from of the Berkeley County Court House, will be a press conference in reference to Mary O'Brien's plea out deal. Seems as though the PA, Kim Crockett, never read the case or the evidence. Dr. Christine Bridges is calling the press conference. If you are able, please come to show support of the horses!
Dr. Bridges is the vet who worked endlessly for days with the poor horses.
So sorry to hear of Brookanne's passing Lynn. Please give my condolences to Carolyn.
Lolly, I'm so sorry the campground isn't very nice. And I cannot believe you forgot your BEADS!!! You just march right back home and get them young lady! LOL!
Glad you found us Candy! Are you all packed and ready to go?
Hey Lynne. I guess so. We should be leaving tomorrow morning sometime. I can't believe that I am finally getting to get up there for this. We will be at the Comfort Inn and will have to find the Clarion. If Lolly and Jack can travel all over, I guess we can find the Clarion. :)
wow Candy, is it your first time? How cool! I'd tell you not to forget your eagle beads, but I guess you don't have any....I'm sure Wanda will take care of that!
Hey Paula. Yes, Lynne, I was up in the spring a few years ago for a nest visit with the eaglemomsters and had a ball, but I have never been able to get up for the Open House. I can't wait to see everyone.
Paula, right now I am scared to touch anything, now that I have finally found the blog. My husband got a new computer about a year ago, and I have been having a hard time getting acquainted with it. Then I saw a lot of the momsters come over to Facebook. BUT that still wasn't like old times on this blog.
Candy, don't you remember meeting us at the CLARION? You brought the EAGLE EXPRESS SIGNS and we rode all over Shepherdstown. Didn't I give you Eagle Beads? Maybe I hadn't discovered them yet in my costume accessory catalog. If you don't have beads, you will!
We will be at the Clarion at 10am on Saturday morning for anyone who would like to ride with or follow us to NCTC...we won't leave without you, if we know you are coming!
Candy, I sure do miss those OLD TIMES here on the blog. You and Suz and me, having coffee together, every morning. Now, you and Suz both are gone:( Hope I'm not next! Well, maybe I'm gone already, don't have time to get on here much, anymore.
Thank you Wanda! for posting the itinerary for the Eagle Express ! Will let you know.... Friday night !
Okay Candy....looking forward to meeting you for the first time...☺ and others too...Clarion is pretty easy to find, BUT, I think their sign at the entrance is too small !

Wanda Had a wonderful time the last time I was up there. No, I was before the beads. So you are going to be at the Clarion at 10 am. Count on meeting us there please. Hoping to be able to follow someone in and out. Do you still have your signs?
I really do miss those old times with you and Suz. I figure that once I retire, I can get back into the swing of things. I also have to figure this computer out.
Great Good Evening Everyone. Been fooling around here trying to fix an unexpected glitch on something----gotter done!Fubby helped. Would you believe that early this PM I started looking for our eagle beads~~could not find them anywhere!!!They were FOUND in the last place I looked----glove box of F's car!!! HOORAY!! Read that Lolly & Jack made great time to Harper's Ferry. I'm ready to travel NOW!!!But I have to do my do!LOL
Margie, I am excited to meet you too. My husband will be with me; retired from Dare Co. Communications a few years ago. You'll have something to talk about.
Did not have much time on here this evening. I worked late getting things ready for my sub. I have to make sure she is well taken care of. I want her to come back when I need her.
I have been reading back on the blog. Going to head upstairs now. It has been a busy week, but I am going to enjoy my day off tomorrow. Kathryn has been printing out maps and planning the best route to Shepherdstown.
I will see you soon. This time I will really see many of you. Can't wait.
Candy, we will be at the Comfort Inn, too. Kathryn, Hunter, and I will arrive Friday evening and Susan will come on Saturday.
Stronghunter, good to hear that someone else is at the comfort inn. We will be listed under James and Candy Norrell. We should be in there in the afternoon and will eat dinner at the Clarion on Friday night. We will be driving my gray Ford Escape that will have OBX plates on it along with Army and Carolina UNC signs on the windows.
Well guess I had better get some final things done around here. If the old Tom Tom doesn't let us down, we'll find our way to beautiful Shepherdstown, WV. See you all up there.
It was fun Margy! Hope to do another one very soon!
Well,I'm going to throw clothes in the dryer, hit the shower, and then fix dinner. Poor Steve has been stuck with the night run all week, and tonight's was particularly long. He'll be another hour yet getting home.
Check this out...his company is actually going to cheat them out of a holiday this year! Christmas and New Year's are on Saturday's this year. He'll get Friday off before Christmas, but they aren't even giving them a half day off on New Year's Eve day!!! I'm sure there will be no Christmas bonus this year, there wasn't last year. Not even a Holiday lunch or anything. I think that just STINKS.
Please pray for a lady I met in front of "Things To Remember" a store in the Martinsburg Mall. I think her name is Annett but God knows the lady in front of that store. She was just told about and hour or two before I met her that she has "breast cancer". She was looking every where for a "breast cancer ribbon pin" to give to her daughter for when she told her daughter tonight. I told her about this great Eagle Blog that prays for people and that she would have prayers rising to GOD.
I called several places they did not have any. Not even at City Hospital gift shop. I did tell her to check at Gateway near Post Office I think I seen them there. I mentioned Hospice might know. To call them tomorrow.
I ask her if I could give her a hug and whispered in her ear GOD CAN DO MIRACLES and that HE would know who all the prayers was for.
But we do pay our holiday! On those this year, we will rotate the days off between Monday and Friday....that's what his company should do! I probably won't even take either one this year.
We had a fantastic dinner to celebrate being here, saltimbocca and a good bottle of wine.
I must say we do have good Wifi here, Jack has been listening to the STARS play hockey. They won!
Talked with Laurel, Faye is doing better. They threatened her with going back in the hosp because she was not eating and drinking, That issue improved. She also showered and is dressed in a housecoat. This is an improvment.
Think we are going to do laundry in the morning and then just mess around in the area. Probably Sunday we will head to more Civil war sites. Jack is considering getting a guide. He wants a really knowlegeable person describing the battles. Jack exists because his great grandfather was here at Harpers Ferry. I am glad of that.
We will probably meet the EE at the tree. That is where you will park, right, Wanda?
So, the time is almost here when the eagle momsters and dadsters will reunite. I really do hope I can find Sheetz. So full of anticipation.
Darth and I will also be at Comfort Inn. Should arrive early afternoon. If we arrive early enough, may try to have lunch at Betty's.
Lynn, please let Carolyn know we are saddened by Brookeann's death. Offer her some hugs, please.
Furious about the horse woman's easy out. I hope the voice of the people will be heard.
So, chores are mostly done and will be trying to get some sleep soon.
Turning my light off early (morning will come sooner if I go to sleep). Will leave the night light on for others coming in. Pleasant Open House dreams.
Oh Lolly, that's a neat connection to Harper's Ferry. Love it there, used to go walk around there all the time when I lived in Brunswick, MD, which you passed on Rt 340, about 10 minutes before you get to Harper's Ferry.
Yeah, you'd think a WORLDWIDE operation would have a little more incentive for these poor guys to want to work harder. They are just killing morale. There has been a lot of talk of problems at other warehouses throughout the country of some very disgruntled employees. No one at Steve's place is happy. He said everyone is in a bad mood all the time now, lots of arguing going on....not a good situation. But he, too, is grateful to have a job!
Lolly, too bad HF is so far from us to make a second trip on Sunday....Steve would be THRILLED to visit the sights and talk about the battles. He is a big Civil War buff!
Poor Steve, he just called. He's on 95 and in a big construction back up, 2 lanes closed. UGH.
Jack's great grandfather was a member of the 35th Georgia regiment. They were left at Harper's Ferry to guard captured supplies. Therefore, Jack exists. Therefore, I am here....Jack drove me! :)
Oh, Lynne, wish we could do stuff together Sunday. Jack would love it!
Judie some of those restaurants Megan listed on here might be better for lunch. I know a lot of people like Betty's for breakfast.
Paula you said in a comment you was trying to read the small print in your cell phone book. When I read that comment I had been doing the same thing......need a magnifying glass!!
Back again.....watching my 10 o'clock, too, but......finished all retiree invitations; got our name tags done; raffle stuff is lining up. Everyone is getting SO excited!
Don't think they let us put the Eagle Express at the nest last year for OH, right Wanda?
Guess the primary meeting place will be in the cafeteria in the Commons building for lunch??
FOr those staying at the Comfort Inn......turn left onto Rt. 45; at the 4-way stop in S'town, turn right and go just a little ways and the road to the Clarion is on the right. Road leads right to it.
Hoping Wanda comes on and will mention whether the eagle express at 10am will be up at the Clarion. There isn't any checking at the gate so anyone wanting to can drive themselves in.
Lunch 11:30 or so NCTC Cafe. We always have a table full of Momsters/Dadsters and guests.
I can tell how excited you all are about your meet-up this weekend. I'm sure you'll all have a fabulous time. I hope Lib and Belle come out and strut their stuff for you:))) Thanks again for your prayers for my son.
TGIF!! Sorry I never made it here last night. Algebra class ran late. Found out I got 20/25 on the test. Did really well on some of the more difficult stuff, but missed 5 out of 25. That's much better than some got! Teacher said one person only got 33% right. Eww. We discussed the entire test, and I think I'll do better next time. I'm pretty sure my brain was just really tired. Happens a lot that late at night.
Got my Practice 4 test done early this afternoon, and turned in my homework, too. Think I did really well on that exam.
When I got home last night, I was just so tired, I sat down for a few minutes in front of the TV, then the sandperson ambushed me! That was all she wrote.
Lynn, so sorry to hear that Carolyn's friend Brookeann has passed away. Please give my condolences to Carolyn and to Brookeann's family. Prayers for them.
Glad to hear that Faye is doing better. Sure hope that trend continues. Prayers for her, too, AND for Laurel and her family.
Jim, that's fantastic news that Cindy is home from the hospital! Prayers for her speedy and complete recovery.
Lynn, can't believe that Mary O'Brien got off so easily in the horse/cow abuse case! Hoping that God Himself will avenge all those poor animals!
Glad to hear that Lolly and Jack have made it back there safely!
Lynne, congratulations on your first formal presentation at Irvine! Bet the kids loved it, and I wish I could've been there. I LOVE screech owls! Also, Lynne and Lynn, thanks for the bear report. It's been quite a story so far, and I can't wait to see what happens with Lily and Hope this winter. MTBR.
Gosh, reading back on the blog, I can tell how excited all of you are about Open House! I can hardly wait to hear about it, and see some pictures! Hope our eagles cooperate, and you get to see them a LOT!
Think I'm going to go make some coffee and get some breakfast. Will check back in before long. Have a fantastic Red Friday, everyone! :o]
Glad Margy is going to the Rumsey.(: Don't want a Bob Quinn re-run.
Anyone know if Bob is coming Sat?
Truly a sad world we live in, when people that have the power to punish someone with other than a small slap on the hand allow it. Mary O'Brien is not the only one God will be setting down with for that lo-------------ng talk. About why did you allow her to get away with mistreating the animals I created for earth.
Still praying for a lot of things of peoples needs in our family and out extended families and friends.
I am trying maybe only one post. The computer is making every "r" yellow. Sorry Margy this computer knows it is Friday it could have aleast made the color RED.
I will be happy to see family tonight and meet new family members. Though I will be missing those that can't be there. You will be in our hearts and minds.
Dana, Look to see if you checked the box right above "publish your comment" that says "Email follow-up comments to ______". If it's checked, click on it to UN-check it.
Yawn.... I need more coffee! Heading to the kitchen to make more. Need to do laundry, too. Will be back in a while. Dana, how are you doing with the water therapy? Any progress? Hope you are able to work something out.
Problem is fixed not getting no more emails in mailbox. No I didn't check anything. It just started having a mind of its own (humm probably a better mind than my own LOL LOL).
Must go get some things done this morning. Wow, I am really enjoying the morning off from work. My sub should have a good day if the amount of planning I did makes any difference. It was after 6:00 PM when I left school.
The day is here! I'm really excited! We will pick up Hunter from school so as to get an early start.
Wanda, we will want to join you on the EE. It will be Kathryn, Hunter, myself, and probably Susan.

GOOD MORNING, LOLLY AND ALL...
Beautiful day for travelling, Lolly.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO BEV'S TOM
Thank you all for Birthday Wishes for Raschida.
Hi Wanda ( :
Raschida's name came from a picture of a girl with her name under it. I contacted her and ask her what nationality was she. She was Cherokee Indian. Since Cherokee Indian is somewhere in the ancestry of her heritage. We choose that name then used my grandmothers first name as her middle name Ann.
So far I have not found where on her fathers side. Everyone on his side that is old talk of it. Although I can't find records.
It has a meaning a real Cherokee told us: One who guides one on the right path.
Happy Birthday to Rashida and to Tom!
Good Morning Margy and Hedgie-Lynn ( :
If you all mis-spell her name it is ok. Hard one to spell.
So the horse woman is going to get the horse poop slung at her huh? Sure hard time busting rocks for the rest of her life. Yea right...oh well the system is what it is.
Grannyblt, prayers for your son. What a rough road for him.
Relieved that Granny Riffe didn't end up back in hospital.
Hi there Dana -
Thank you Steve for the new thread.
Hope everything is coming together for the Open House - see you there.
Happy Birthday Tom! Big 55!
Hope this will be a good year for you.
GrannyBLT - prayers for your son's recovery.
Wow! I bet Jack can hardly keep Lolly from bouncing around from being full of excitement to reach Harpers Ferry!
Good Luck Lynn at the court house.
Your group's presence should wake up the judge as to the public's opinion.
If you get any messages about THINK POINT DO NOT OPEN
ThinkPoint is a rogue anti-spyware program that is a fake Microsoft Security Essentials that only imitates a security alert.
It is very convincing & could catch you off guard. It looks like a legitimate Microsoft alert.
BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THIS ONE
Thanks Mema Jo for the ALERT comment above.
Ok I found Grannyblts prayer need:
Time for me to get ready to roll out of here
BBILW
Good afternoon, everyone.
Lol. Half way there! Passing by Philadelphia.

By the way, where is Betty's?
Good morning, Jim. How's Cindy?
Good Morning, Everyone!
(Judie, bet you can't wait to get away from the big schoolhouse!)
:o]
I wonder where Judie is staying?????? Anyone know so I can put directions from where she is staying to Betty's????
Cindy returned home late in the evening yesterday, carrying oxygen and a hookup of some kind where visiting nurses can administer the daily antibiotics into her bloodstream.
She sounded tired but happy to be home ... needed something to eat ... when I called.
She mentioned 6 weeks of antibiotics, but she's on the road to recovery.
Thanks to everyone for their prayers and caring comments. I'm sure they were very important factors in God's equation..
C(°Ù¿°)D Jim

June just emailed me this I'm sure she misses Karen deeply:
GOD SAW YOU GETTING TIRED
God saw you getting tired
And a cure was not to be
So he put his arms around you
And whispered
Come to me.
With tearful eyes we watched
You
And saw you pass away
And although we loved you dearly
We could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating
Hard working hands at rest,
God broke our hearts to prove to
Us,
He only takes the best!
June's cousin had emailed that to her.
Dana, the Yellow Brick place has an Internet site, and from that I learned it was Nancy Reagan, who loved to dine there.
C(°Ù¿°)D Jim
Jim I am sure Cindy is glad to be home. Still keeping in prayer.
In Maryland. 115 miles to go, make that 114. :)
OK, Lolly, I am getting ready to wash and set my hair...is it safe to do that? :) Hope you like your campsite in Harpers Ferry...lot of History in that town.
LOL. Yes it is safe, go ahead and do your do!
Off to tackle laundry.
Think Lolly and Jack might be almost to Harper's Ferry.
Afternoon all....
HI LOOLY! Wonder how close you are passing by to me on your way through MD!
So glad Cindy is doing better!
Dana, granyblt is Lynne...she is the "original" Lynne with an "e" which is why I am Lynne2!
Prayers for your son, Lynne. I do wish you could take a break and come have some fun with us, but I know how much you are needed at home.
Happy B'day Racshid!!
Looking forward to the hearing report Lynn.
Gotta run for a while and get the dogs out for a run. My goodness, how redundant....
Still 60 miles from Harpers Ferry. Sorta in bumper to bumper traffic. Fun with a trailer!
We have been to Harpers Ferry before. Before eagles, blog, etc! :)
Here you go- Shepherdstown Visitors center restaurant list
This list is missing Mellow Moods which is also a great place.Mellow Moods
Hi Megan! I was bringing over from FB your moon comment ...
Megan Webber Full Hunter's Moon Saturday, so we definitely could get a frost here Sat morning if it's clear.

Why aren't you out selling pumpkins?
lol Sure will be glad to see you Friday evening and hope again on

I can hear Jack & Lolly heading this way..........
Here they come
wonder if they are on 70?
Lynne - I don't have a clue what route they are on headed to Harpers Ferry.
I don't know about that, Jo.
And I'm done for the day,ok... :)
Still not 100% sure about Fri and Sat.
Well I'll be saving you a seat for Friday - I know you'll try your best.♥
I guess I figured they'd come down 95 to Balt Beltway to 70 and then 81, but maybe they found a more scenic route!
Whoo Hoo! 32 more miles and Lolly & Jack will be here!
Good Driving!
Oh Lynne - My next hair appointment is November 18! You know I don't want to
miss it! Thx
Lynne had our route correct, except taking 340 off 70 . Following our GPS. About to turn off on 340. 22 miles to go.
wow, you were SO close to me I could have stood on the roof and waved! OK, not THAT close, but close!
I will mark my calendar Jo!

If you get Ch. 25 Hagerstown news, please watch this evening.
Momma lion is on Cam 7WF
At least for this very moment she is there....
Unbelievable, Lynn. I just read that on FB. UGH.
I wish everyone who had ever taken a horse to her so called "rescue" and then found out what was REALLY going on would file a suit for the pain they have now, knowing what happened to their horses that they turned over to her in good faith. I would be FURIOUS.
I hate the way they plea bargain that crap, Lynn. And it doesn't just happen in WV...
Lolly and Jack went right thru Frederick....I could have waved at them too. Guess they put the pedal to the metal to get here this soon.
I don't understand how she isn't going to be responsible for the care of these animals that she ruined either.
HELLLL00000000000000OOOOOOO, LOLLY AND JACK...Your are just an echo away from us:) Have a great evening and a good night's rest and we'll see you tomorrow:)
Wanda, she may just be headed your way to check out the nest tonight!
OK sound is all the way up on the cam.....give us a SHOUT when you get there!!!
I have go put my bedroom closet back together. Up through the top is the only access to the attic crawl space. Had to take EVERYTHING out today because landlord had insulation guy come to give estimate to blow insulation in up there. Good opportunity to put some stuff away for the winter.
Wow !
Nearly full Moon is already up !
windy at the nest...
I know it is bright and full looking but officially it is full on Oct 22 - Friday evening.
However Megan said
" Full Hunter's Moon Saturday, so we definitely could get a frost here Sat morning if it's clear. "
haha Margy - I just read your wording again - Nearly says it all........
It's still bright and beautiful!
I know mostly all of us are awaiting our Royal Couple...... Best hurray before Spidey covers the lens.
I know I am.....I'm lollygagging around taking my time getting upstairs to the closet...Just in case!
Love the way I spelled hurry
I put Hurray!
HURRAY!!!!
wonder if Lolly and Jack got to the nest...I'm thinking I read somewhere back that they may not go this evening.
Lollygagging?? LOL good choice of words Lynne !! did you mean the pun ??
Moon goes full after it rises Friday night...sometimes around 9:37 pm or so so when it rises Saturday it will BE FULL Allrighty!!
Lynne, Lolly thought they might get to Harper's Ferry too late, but they got there at 5pm....
Don't see our eagles tonight.
Megan hasn't missed a month yet in giving us the Full Moon name!
Appreciate it much, Floralgirl ☺
HAHAHAHA!!!! No, didn't even realize! It's just something I say all the time when I'm being lazy!
Hedgie
think the WHAG reporter musta needed more time to get the story wrapped...will check the 2300 ooops I mean 11 pm News show....
Oh good, maybe they made it! But maybe not. They may have had to "make camp" first.
spellos are always fun Jo !
okay, got to start doing like Loretta, getting a few things ready tonight since I work
8 am to 8 pm Friday
let's see, camera, Eagle beads, friendship bracelet, Eagle Scarf...door prizes...
forget-me-not seeds for any who wants them...
appreciate all the food and dining news, think I am locked into Tuscany, NCTC cafeteria, Tuscany...now, there's always breakfast Sunday to ponder !
Finally done sending a stupid email for work...heading home...see ya later.
I don't think we're going to see our couple this evening .... not even a clunk!
they are at the nest!!! Lolly just posted a picture on FB!!
they haven't seen the eagles either
I hope you mean you are locked into
Rumsey Tavern - NCTC cafe - Tuscany Grille
Breakfast at Clarion was always good.
Margy we don't want to lose you like we lost Bob Quinn.
Whoa! Proof that they were there !
I have a 9 and 10 TV show tonight.
Going to get a few things done before it time for them..
BBILW
So, is everyone meeting at a certain place and time on Saturday?
Yes, we did not see eagles, but I saw a nest and was happy! Also saw two deer.
They gave us a lousy site so we complained and we moved, therefore we were running a little late. New site is better. Heading back now for Jack's well deserved beer.
well, appears the eagles are a no show. Glad Lolly and Jack made it safely! Now I must get to the closet....
Ok thanks for the reminder Jo...forgot!
Horse rescue story made the 7 pm WHAG news...would have loved to see Lynn interviewed afterwards!
enjoy that full moon on the way home Paula !
Yes, Lynne, there is a time and place...those in the know will post that and remind me where and when also !
I have the email saved...
Just found out that Carolyn's friend Brookeann passed away this morning. :(
Lolly and Jack.....glad that you have arrived safely in WV!!!
I see a Sheetz!
No pedal to the medal, just long steady driving!
Lynn...so very sorry to hear that...about Brookeann...
Welcome to WV, IT !
It says "thank you"! LOL
I forgot my eaglebeads!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh, no, Mr Bill!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Get this - Helen saw on FB
Animal Advocates of West Virginia To all interested parties:
Tomorrow morning at 11:00 AM, in front of the Berkeley County Court House, will be a press conference in reference to Mary O'Brien's plea out deal. Seems as though the PA, Kim Crockett, never read the case or the evidence.
Wet noodle lashes for you Lolly!
No Beads ------- well if you have "IT"
you will be forgiven.......
oh that's crazy Jo...
how could it possibly be?
A travesty for sure...
This is one of the biggest and passionate cases in Berkeley County !!
thanks to you and Helen for the info
" Journal Junction " is going to be Lit Up !!
Very sorry to hear about Brookeann's passing. Perhaps the prayer June set us would console Carolyn a little.
Good evening all you lovely people. I just finally searched and searched on this confounded computer and finally found the blog.
Glad to hear that you and your husband made it Lolly. Way to go.
Now if I could just find out how to get and bookmark the nests and other sites.
Jo NO brownies. Too fattening!
wow Candy, is it your first time? How cool! I'd tell you not to forget your eagle beads, but I guess you don't have any....I'm sure Wanda will take care of that!
Candy, Open the blog page and the links to the cam are on the right.
Candy may have been here before we started passing out the eagle beads....I'll see what extras I can bring along.
Candy was here for a nest visit, but not Open House. Can't wait to see you too, Candy!
Bad work by the PA, or should I say no work!
Hope there are some beads that Lolly can borrow!
I want my own laptop. Pout, pout.
Maybe Santa will bring you one for Christmas?
One can always hope and dream. :)

Jo, where'd ya find the schedule of events? I didn't see it on the website.
Loretta, glad you found your beads! I really think Steve should have some beads.
JO I still have the eagle head that fits on my car radio antenna. It is a little worn.
I had my first formal presentation at Irvine today! I used one of the Screech Owls and talked with the afternoon pre-schoolers. They were hilarious!
Hi,
Did not have much time on here this evening.
Ha Ha Candy! Jo had her eagle head on the antenna of HER car a year or so ago at one of the nest visits! I do believe we have a picture of that !
Lynne - great, bravo....good for you..bet it was a great show !
Everyone have a safe trip!
So sorry for Carolyn loosing her dear friend Brookeann. Prayers for Carolyn and Brookeann's family and other friends.
I have two sets of eagle beads. Both are different. Will bring both and give one to someone that wants a set.
Lynn I knew Grannyblt had the "e" did I forget to put it. Maybe I couldn't remember this morning. Heck I don't even remember my comments this morning.
LOLLY AND JOHN "JACK"------WELCOME TO WILD WONDERFUL WEST VIRGINIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jack good driving you deserve that beer!!
I ask her if I could give her a hug and whispered in her ear GOD CAN DO MIRACLES and that HE would know who all the prayers was for.
aw Dana, that was so very kind of you...you are a very special person!
Lynne, our company has cut out all the fluff as well, we just can't afford it anymore :( But I have a job!
Until tomorrow...
My 9:00 show is over
Now for the 10:00 show
Still have my eagle head on my antenna
Last time you were here Candy is when I handed them out! Mine is very worn
but still keeps up with me.
Lynne - Information was an inside contact. When you arrive head for the administration building for their programs. Give you times and locations.
Watching show and will return.
Oh Lolly, that's a neat connection to Harper's Ferry. Love it there, used to go walk around there all the time when I lived in Brunswick, MD, which you passed on Rt 340, about 10 minutes before you get to Harper's Ferry.
So sorry to hear about Brookeanne.
And yes, where is our central meeting point at NCTC going to be???
Lolly, too bad HF is so far from us to make a second trip on Sunday....Steve would be THRILLED to visit the sights and talk about the battles. He is a big Civil War buff!
Poor Steve, he just called. He's on 95 and in a big construction back up, 2 lanes closed. UGH.
Glad Faye is getting her poop in a group. Poor Laurel, she sure has her hands way too full and that's all I'll say on the matter. Prayers for her!
LOL Lynne, Jack and I liked your expression!
Good to hear Faye took a hold of the threat.
Judie some of those restaurants Megan listed on here might be better for lunch. I know a lot of people like Betty's for breakfast.
Paula you said in a comment you was trying to read the small print in your cell phone book. When I read that comment I had been doing the same thing......need a magnifying glass!!
Going to recliner have been on feet all day.
and we are so glad you are! I sure wish we could too Lolly. Steve would have a blast!
LOL Lolly!!! Yes, it is a more, uh, delicate, shall we say? way to put it!!!
Bear Report
hope this works....
I am thinking of showering and getting comfy.
So, I will say good night to all my eagle buds!!!
Margy....I did take a picture of the moon while at the nest. I was thinking of you.
Night all! Safe travels to those who are hitting the road tomorrow. Here's to a great weekend!!!!!!!
Road leads right to it.
wow Lynn, you sure have been busy!!
Steve is on the last leg of his journey home, so I'm going to fry up a burger for him. Too late for real dinner.
Have a good night everyone, and prayers for all of you!
Bears
Margy, one correction to your itinerary!!!! Friday night dinner is in the Rumsey Tavern!!!
Jeepers! Margy will be so glad you told her about Rumsey, Lynn....
Right, Margy?
We will take care of you Margy
Time to say goodnite to all here and all those on fb.
Prayers for those that need they and GOD KNOWS WHO THEY ARE.
Sleep in WV peace Lolly & Jack. Stay WARM!!
May be frost on the pumpkin in Am or Sat AM.....
Niters
Margy you and me need to go to Swinging Bridge and look around together.
LOL.....we don't have Bob Quinn to tease this year!!!
Sweet sleep for all. Will talk to you tomorrow, and SEE most tomorrow evening!!!!!
Prayers for all in need, and thanks for answered prayers. Peace.
Yes, Jo...EE will be at the Clarion at 10am. (see 8:52pm)
Not sure where we can park this year at NCTC???
GOOD NIGHT MY FRIENDS

Good morning, Margy and those who will come in later.
Margy, have a quiet day at work and I'll look for you tonight.
Windy and MT nest this a.m. Boris has been busy, of course.
Going for a cup of coffee and to get myself ready for my big adventurous weekend.
Probably leave about 10am.
Safe Travel Wishes Everyone....hope you see some cool sights on the way...
xo out the door ♥
Good Morning, Everyone!
Prayers for her, too,
AND for Laurel and her family.
The eagles are starting to flu mprtj from the Outer Banks to Shpherdstown,WV at tis time. See you this afternoon sometime.
Everyone have safe trips.
Good Friday in Eagle Land to EVERYONE THIS AM.

Good morning,
Must go get some things done this morning.
I disappeared last night because my Internet connection went away. I need to talk to Will. The connection is weak and slow when it is working.
BBL.
