Lynne - I hope Lolly and Jack are keeping about 100 miles ahead of those quakes. Margy - I hope you find Anne in a very responsive state of mind and that seeing you will certainly cheer her.
Don't know what happened to Andy - Maybe the Algebra did her in. Hope she comes on this am.
Shirley so happy the gathering last night was enjoyable - seeing the happy couple and the b-day boy all at once. I hope you weren't intimidated by your ex.
I initiated the conversation. He really does not know how to do that. It is strange. Really. I know that he was pleased that we all approached him. My children followed me. I was surprised when I turned around and saw them.
I have no desire to have a conversation with her. Nor do my children. That does not mean they do not care for their father. But he has allowed her to become between them.
He is a grown man and that is his choice. But it is a bad choice. She is a domineering woman, but he does not have to allow that behavior.
Yes, Jo, I am looking forward to the weekend, too. I will be taking Friday off from work. I do hope the substitute will do okay with Block 4. Individually, they are not too bad. It is when they get together that they are such a mess.
Margy, I'll bet your sis will be very glad to see you today!
Wow Shirley, that's something that you all got to talk to your ex. Hope it makes him realize what he has missed with his kids. Maybe a new beginning for all.
Sorry the dogs made a mess for you....
Thanks for the link Jo!
Shirley, I have some milkweed seeds for you! I'll try to get them sent out tomorrow or Tuesday. I am planning, I think I mentioned, to put mine in the ground shortly. My reason is that in the wild, the seeds are now flying all over the place and will land, and grow next year. I will save some to try to do inside, but Wanda is the person to ask about the best way to do that. I had a scant few grow that way out of 50 planted seeds. I also will send some butterfly weed seeds, I have bright yellow and also orange! Let me know if you want any of the GG Morning Glory seeds.
Thank you for the new thread Steve and thank you Jo for the call over.
Oh dear, do we have to make use of pot plants in order to see the owls?
Safe drive Margy and hope you find Anne continuing to improve.
Lolly made an earthquake. Lolly made an earthquake. Go Rangers!
Shirley, sounds as if the gathering last night was more pleasant than expected. On another note, sure wish the furry critters in your home would settle down. Seems to have you stuttering.
Do wish Dana would check in and Andy, also.
Going to prepare ribs with dry rub for tonight and also try a new sugar cookie recipe. More fun than reading material on family violence (which I need to do before Tuesday).
I was touched when Kathryn gave him a picture of Hunter and he looked at it and carefully put it in his pocket. His only grandchild. And he has not seen him for years.
I need to put together some stuff for tomorrow. We have testing, but the only block I will miss is my planning time because I will be monitoring testing. I have to be ready for all of my classes, but with no planning time. Curses on that!
Hey there Sharon! Can't believe you aren't out on the road for the weekend. Less than a week - Whoo Hoo! Sure am getting excited - even started to see which pair of jeans I'm wearing. loL ♥
Hey! I am here! Lolly Quake! LOL We have stopped for the day. We are still in Maine. We had a leisure drive down hwy 1. Saw beautiful scenery! OMG I want one of the humongous summer "cottages"!
Stopped at a great place for lunch. We usually eat lunch in the trailer but I was craving a lobster roll! So we stopped at the Taste of Maine restaurant. They have a huge pole outside with an Osprey platform with a cam. Inside the restaurant they have a huge screen to watch the osprey. I asked if they were on line and YES they are! Raised three chicks this year. Wilber and Wanda are the osprey, I think that was the names. Have to check on that. I was told to go to www.TasteofMaine.com and search there for the cam. After seeing the platform today I am just more than ever convinced that the nest we saw in New Hampshire was an eagle nest. It was huge! Still need to do some research on it.
Just checked that web site. Sure enough there is the cam to click on but it is down now. Gotta remember this next spring. The osprey arrived early April.
Think Jack and I are going to go walk around some. It is 59 and sunny.
MOWING...barf. I've been mowing fields since noon. Almost done. Need more gas. I could grow an whole other field in my head with all the grass seed that's in my hair! Saw a big Praying Mantis and several Buckeye butterflies.
Well, isn't not getting done with me sitting here. Although I am really enjoying the silence....
We took a walk, put out the awning to dry and watching DA BOYS on tv. I have loaded a few pictures from today's drive on facebook, including the osprey pole.
lol Laurel just texted me with pics of Jacob's new shoes. He is so excited with them, wanted me to see them, wanted three pictures sent including pics of the bottoms of his shoes. Love that boy!
Golly, the sandman sneaked up on me last night, and I fell asleep in front of the TV shortly after dinner! The kitchen didn't get cleaned up, and when I woke up I found that our patio door was still open. Hate when that happens! Your guess was right. I was dreaming about the dreaded Algebra! Gonna be SO glad when this 6-week class is over!
We went and saw "Secretariat" yesterday, and it was wonderful! Lynne, you need to go see it, for sure! It is a very, very good movie, and I loved it! Nice to leave the theater feeling GOOD instead of traumatized or depressed. What an amazing horse!
We hit the road running this morning, and just got home a little while ago. Have been trying to pay our land line phone bill online, but hit a snag. Need a pin no. to set up an online account payment, but can't find it in all the phone service info they sent us. Cust. svc. is Mon.-Fri. only. Hmmmmm....
This bill is due on Tues. Hope I can figure this out tomorrow morning!
BTW, now that we've switched to MCI (for more perks and a cheaper monthly bill), AT&T has been calling and calling us trying to get us to switch back. Got pretty annoyed with them yesterday, and hung up on them. Hope they get the picture!
Been missing being here! All you gals and guys are habit forming! Oh, now Hubby's calling me to see something on the TV. Will be back a little later. Have a good evening, everyone! Later, alligators.
I just love it when I try to pay online and they say they have no one with my ID registered and when I try to register, they say that someone with that ID is already registered.
Good Sunday to all. Caught up here---even if nowhere else!! Shirley, know only too well how difficult last evening was for you....glad that it turned out reasonably well. Andy, thanks for update on Secretariat. Nearest theatre at beach was CLOSED FOR SEASON---argh!!! So we couldn't drive all the way back up to Kitty Hawk area to see it----and were too tired the day we were up that way looking at houses and seeing Candy. Forgot to tell you all---don't expect to see the Candy from her avatar! She has lost a lot of weight---I almost didn't recognize her! Aw----thanks for missing me. So glad that Margy got to go visit with Anne. Jo, little color here, too. But thouoght I would freeze last night----house was SO cold. Really had to jack up all heat sources except woodstove. Can't get the owl cam or Lolly's osprey cam.....grrrr. Lynne, hope you finished mowing by now. Judie, I'm gonna start calling you the Cookie lady!!! Never knew anyone who baked them so often. Are they your favorites or Darth's???
Yep, Shirley, we did! It is on the beachside of Hwy 12, with a view of the beach and the sound from the decks. It needs repairs and is overpriced....all we can do is figure the cost of repairs and then make an offer based on that LESS the 30% that realtor says is pretty much the norm there in the present economy. So we are looking at starting probably around 140G.
It is bank-owned, so we are hoping that they are anxious to get rid of it as they are currently paying out---winterizing, lawn care, etc., with no benefit....
Oh.....and house is 400 steps (Frank's paces!) from the beach. A relatively quiet street, with many permanent residents, including fire chief and two FF's.
Speaking of which, listening to my girl dispatching a medic call at the moment!
Hope you can work out a deal if that turns out to be the one you want, Lynn.
I checked out some of the real estate listings there just for the heck of it. Found a few million-dollar places and one that was quite more than a million. Lots of different kinds of places there.
Yes, Shirley, it's really sad. The majoirty of those $500G+ places are RENTALS....the wealthy folks and builders gobble up land and build those, cutting the ordinary people out. Anyone see Nights in Rodanthe, or read the book (Nicholas Sparks)?? We saw the Serendipity house from it---had heard that it was for sale for a mill and a half.....well, it ended up being condemned----surf was hitting the pilings. Some guy bought it for $160G, bought a lot for 190G, and paid 60G to move the house! It is lovely. Just up the road from the one we are considering. It is now a rental. When I get pics off camera, I'll post them.
Just read an article online about a skeleton found standing on the side of the road. He was really scared. Seems he really wanted to cross the road, but he just didn't have the guts.
Yes, Lynn. Saw the Serendipity house. Knew it had been condemned, rescued, etc. Sure hope you can work out the details to make an offer.
Well, might as well make it official. I will be attending OH and Darth will be with me. Would like to know directions from Comfort Inn to NCTC so I can show him the nest, if that is allowed.
Now to go back and find the menu and list of activities for him to look at. BBL
Judie, so glad that you WILL be making the OH weekend with us! Sure hope that Darth has a good sense of humor. And YOU be YOURSELF!!!!! We won't recognize you if you aren't! From Comfort Inn, head in to S'town, and turn left at 4-way stop. At bottom of hill, bear left onto Shepherd Grade Rd. Follow that for about 3 miles and NCTC is on the right.
As I have said before, Darth is very nice. I enjoyed meeting him at the eagle release event. Judie, Darth, and I had a very nice lunch together that day.
We also had fun blogging with Darth when Judie was in the hostpital.
Nothing new to report from these parts, but wanted to come by before the Redskins and say, "HI!" Good to have you back on here, Lynn from the B____H! Thx Lolly for your pic link---beautiful. We have a maple tree next to pond at Farmhouse office that is the prettiest tree each year, Just starting to change~~matbe good by end of week. I've been trying to check weather for S'town for next weekend, but only getting now & tomorrow---duh! I hear Football!!!!! Later ☺ ☺ ☺
LOL, Lolly, I don't consider it perverted at all! And you know I'm nice!! Just have never understood how your Boys can be called America's Team when it is SO obvious that the Nations' Capital team has the sole right to that title!!! Don't know where in Maine Ragdoll Deb lives.
Would like to stay up and watch the game, but I am not going to make it. I really need to get to work early tomorrow so I can get the testing materials together. We have to pick up the materials and sign them out. Everything has to be counted, etc. We had to sign a pledge that we won't copy tests, help students, etc.
Oh yes I did see the 4 leaf clover. Hubby said he has to kill himself... I thought something would be in the flowers and explode or expel poisonous gas... Wonder where it will pick up next season..... Don't forget how this one ended, Paula, so that you can remind me. lol
Y'all ever think how scary some comments are? I post and come back only to find Jo has seen a four-leaf clover and her hubby has to go into the flowers to kill himself with an explosion of poisonous gas. Ever so hopeful this was an event in a t.v. program.
Eye appointment tomorrow after lunch.. Hubby needs to drive since my eyes will be dilated. I have a pair of very dark dark glasses to take for when I come out in the sunshine - just like the Miners ! I hope we see more updates on those men!
Judie, I remember when I talked about Marvin sleeping out on the porch & your comment was so funny when you said about Jo's hubby sleeping out on the porch. As you said earlier - we will make more memories this weekend! It can't stop with a Sheetz! lol
I'm with you, Judie! I hope Jo's comment was about a TV show, too! Yikes!
Shirley, can't tell you how many times I've been told my ID already exists, etc.! I finally got a 3-ring binder and index dividers and made up a page for every account I pay online. All the info is "at my fingertips" so to speak. Just hide the binder in with my school stuff, and I doubt anyone would investigate far enough to cause trouble. Hiding in plain sight! BTW, glad your kids got to talk with their father. Do hope something good comes of it, too.
Lynn, I saw "Nights in Rodanthe", and loved the house. Am thrilled that someone bought it and moved it!
Heard from my Sis-in-law tonight. She went and saw "Secretariat" too--and couldn't stop raving about it! It is one of her all-time favorites! What an amazing horse. He may have been the greatest racehorse ever!
Well, guess I'd better say goodnight. Prayers said for everyone. Lynn, prayers that your offer on the b---- house works out perfectly for all concerned.
Leaving the night light and the porch light on (in case Rackety Coon shows up). The eye-scanner security and Dana's thumbprint-scanner security are enabled. Sleep well, everyone, so we can all get a good start on the new week tomorrow. Will talk to you, hopefully, in the morning. Hope we get to see our eagles at the nest! God bless, and goodnight! Love all of you! :o]
Oh, you gals have been having too much fun...I missed out! Had to take Dustin home and ended up staying all afternoon.
Lynn, 400 steps to the ocean is close, but will you be able to handle that? Sitting on the deck and watching the ocean would please me very much and probably you too! Price sounds pretty reasonable for something so close to the beach...depending on how much work needs to be done.
It's a level walk, Wanda, so I can make it---slow and easy! If not, someone can drive me and then come park back at house and walk back down!!! House also has a double driveway, so lots of parking room (like for the EE!!!) withoout anyone having to pull onto sandy grass!!
Paula, market is just so depressed----almost a buyers' market. SO many foreclosures, and short sales, too.(We WON'T get involved in them!)
Well, gang, I'll say goodnight, too. Afraid tomorrow is not going to be a pleasant or easy day....have Shannon lined up to come do the grave if necessary. So I'll talk to you sometime tomorrow. Want to be at vets' by 9. Prayers for all.
Oh dear, I just heard a stealthy foot step. Yep, it's the sandperson. So, turning my light off but leaving the night light on. Andy has already set our security. Goodnight all.
I did watch the end of the game last night while lying in bed. I was having trouble getting to sleep, so I just turned on the TV for a little while. It was not the ending I wanted to see.
Just got Hubby off to work 30minutes ago, so thought I'd check in here and see if our eagles were around. The live cam is "not available" right now. The still cam is showing lots of Spidey's handiwork. There's a white spot near 7 pm in the nest, but not sure whether it's tree bark, or what.
Lynn, have been praying for you last night and this morning. So very sorry that Cinnamon is in such critical condition. Had hoped for some improvement. Know only too well the decision you are facing, and would give anything if it weren't so. My heart is breaking along with yours. ((Hugs)) :o{
Wow, Andy...nice to have you with us so early in the morning!
It is 42° here in Nestville, going up to 68°. FALL is here and SUMMER is over! I love Fall, but that means WINTER is just around the corner:( Hope this Winter is milder than last!!
I have Lynn on my mind this morning...didn't know Cinnamon was so bad off. I guess most of us have been in Lynn's shoes at one time or another and it is devastating. Lots of ((((HUGS))) for you today, Lynn♥
My deepest thoughts are with Lynn this morning, it is hard to find words of comfort, I am so sorry to hear that her precious doxie Cinnamon has had this illness and discomfort. we know Cinnie is as precious to you, as you are to Us, Lynn
Good Monday Morning. I came right on wanting to hear from Lynn - Life is so lonely for a while when we lose a pet and that seems to be the situation. I'll just keep on praying for them.
Thank you Jo, and all well-wishers from Sunday also.....
My sister recognized me right away, said my name, and told those in the room that I am her baby sister....that was very joyful... there was a variety of moments of comfort, discomfort, anxiety, tiredness....relative alertness, and confusion. This will be a long road to recovery.... hoping and praying that God's Will includes that it can be as near to 100% as possible.
I have been captivated by the Africam.com Eagle Owls. The smallest, Teeney, had fallen out of the nest and was sent to rehab. She has now returned to the Pot Plant nest and her 2 brothers.
I must get ready for Vision appointment Touch base upon my return.
Jo, Thanks for the link to the pot plant owl nest--Awwwww! They are SOOO cute! And you're right--they're captivating! Glad they're all back together again! Hope your eye Dr. appt. goes well. Prayers!
Margy, Thrilled that your sister Anne is doing well and recognized you! Prayers continuing for her complete recovery! Jo, Judie, and I (and I'm sure, everyone else here) are certainly all in agreement on that!((Hugs))
Dana has been on my mind. Have been praying for her and for Little Man. Hope they're still doing OK, and hope we hear from Dana soon.
Better go get myself looking presentable. Have to go pick up a couple of Rx refills and get a scientific calculator at Wal-Mart--one that has a couple of extra function keys that my current calculator doesn't have. Still studying my Algebra! Will check back in later. :o]
Karla Wright Adams: Prayers for Cody and Beanie... He is being air lifted to Charlottesville right now after he stopped breathing this morning. Thanks to Enders for the quick response and awesome job at reviving him!! Peggy Sue is driving Beanie down so she can be with him. Drive safe!!

My granddaughter, who is studying to be an EMT is now driving an ambulance for The Berryville Fire Dept. The above comments are about a 5 year old that, along with his family is a close friend of Jillian (and Karla). Jillian was a first responder to this call, didn't know it was Cody. Good Sunny Sunday Morning to Everyone
Thanks Steve for the new thread - hope you are ready to go out and find some new adventures for today.
I'll get the call over
Lynne - I hope Lolly and Jack are keeping about 100 miles ahead of those quakes.

Owls - bookmark this one
Helen found their blog for me
Not intimidated, Jo. Not at all.
I initiated the conversation. He really does not know how to do that. It is strange. Really. I know that he was pleased that we all approached him. My children followed me. I was surprised when I turned around and saw them.
It was a chance to get to him without interference from his present wife. I probably should not say any more about that.
She went to the other room.
She went to the other room.
After we approached him.
Well Shirley that says it all.
I have no desire to have a conversation with her. Nor do my children. That does not mean they do not care for their father. But he has allowed her to become between them.
He is a grown man and that is his choice. But it is a bad choice. She is a domineering woman, but he does not have to allow that behavior.
We will see what happens.
Seems like we have waited forever for this upcoming Friday/Saturday. I am very anxious to see everyone.
Need Food........ BBL
Thanks for the Pot Plant Owl links, Jo and Helen.
Yes, Jo, I am looking forward to the weekend, too. I will be taking Friday off from work. I do hope the substitute will do okay with Block 4. Individually, they are not too bad. It is when they get together that they are such a mess.
. . . but I don't have to think about that over the weekend, do I?
Wonder if Andy is sleeping and dreaming of x+y=z?
Hope we hear from Dana soon.
Good Morning! Another beautiful day!
Safe travel to Lolly the Shaker and Jack today.
Margy, I'll bet your sis will be very glad to see you today!

Lynne, I was planning to put my milkweed seeds in my bag and bring them to open house. You are planning to be there aren't you?
I would like some morning glory seeds. Thank you.
And thanks for suggesting planting now. I might not have done that.
Good late morning.
Thank you for the new thread Steve and thank you Jo for the call over.

I was touched when Kathryn gave him a picture of Hunter and he looked at it and carefully put it in his pocket. His only grandchild. And he has not seen him for years.
Hi Judie and Jim.
Sounds like a good dinner, Judie.
I need to put together some stuff for tomorrow. We have testing, but the only block I will miss is my planning time because I will be monitoring testing. I have to be ready for all of my classes, but with no planning time. Curses on that!
A Lolly-quake! Wow!
Going out for awhile - headed westward Maybe the mountains will be beautiful!

Good morning my eagle budlets! Less than 1 week! Whoohoo!!!
Is that a turtle shell in the nest! Who is going to climb it next week for Mema Jo!
Posted a few pictures on my blog of last night's festivities.
Hey there Sharon! Can't believe you aren't out on the road for the weekend.
Less than a week - Whoo Hoo!
Sure am getting excited - even started to see which pair of jeans I'm wearing.
loL ♥
Shirley - Apartment looks very nice!
Had to laugh at the red wall because it is just like my Jenny's.. Thanks for the pictures.
I did go west and the mountains are not yet colorful...need a good frost.
Hi Jo,
It has been very quiet on here today. I guess everyone is out enjoying the day.
Hoping Lynn, Dana and Andy stop by.
It is a beautiful day out there.....
I've seen the adult fly in to feed the owls two times now... Faint hoot and usually a dog barks.
Think I'll sit out on the deck
I'm going to go upstairs and do some tidying.
Watching the 3:00 movie on Hallmark...
About the dog Hachi; A dog's tale
Hey! I am here! Lolly Quake! LOL We have stopped for the day. We are still in Maine. We had a leisure drive down hwy 1. Saw beautiful scenery! OMG I want one of the humongous summer "cottages"!

Hi Lolly! I ckecked out the restaurant. The food there is very tempting.
I could go for some lobster about now.
Will stopped by to mow the grass. It is nice to have his help. He's also drying some of his clothes. The dryer at his apartment does not work.
MOWING...barf. I've been mowing fields since noon. Almost done. Need more gas. I could grow an whole other field in my head with all the grass seed that's in my hair! Saw a big Praying Mantis and several Buckeye butterflies.

We took a walk, put out the awning to dry and watching DA BOYS on tv. I have loaded a few pictures from today's drive on facebook, including the osprey pole.
Look at the Pandas rasslin (in the drizzle) down at San Diego.

Jo, just saw Momma owl feed her babies at Pot Plant Owl.
Hi, Everyone!

Been missinfg you, Andy.
Going to enjoy some shrimp tonight. Kathryn went grocery shopping and found a shrimp sale.
Good to hear that Lynn made it home OK. Welcome home!
It's cloudy, cool, and sprinkling here again today, and I LOVE it!
Need to read back on the blog and get caught up. Also need to check some nest cams. Will be back later. :o]
Hi, Shirley!
Been missing being here! All you gals and guys are habit forming!
Oh, now Hubby's calling me to see something on the TV. Will be back a little later. Have a good evening, everyone! Later, alligators.
I did mean to say "missing," of course.
Very windy at the MT nest right now.
Andy, so glad to have you check in. Sure hope you can get the online payment issue reconciled tomorrow. Also glad you enjoyed the movie.
Off to the kitchen to finish up dinner, watch DA BOYS. Stooooopid Patriots!
Paula, you have mail, I think.
Mowing done, off to the Gross Me Out store to pick up a few things. Like Ice Cream.
Glad you like the movie Andy! I'll have to wait a til it comes out on DVD to see it, but looking forward to it!
I just love it when I try to pay online and they say they have no one with my ID registered and when I try to register, they say that someone with that ID is already registered.
Hunter is home from his weekend with his Dad.
Finished the 3:00 Hallmark movie
Hubby said he's taking me out to eat.
When I put my shoes back on..
That will be quick as they are slip ons

How nice, Jo. Enjoy your dinner out.
Must wash dishes. BBL.

Can't get the owl cam or Lolly's osprey cam.....grrrr.
Lynne, hope you finished mowing by now.
Judie, I'm gonna start calling you the Cookie lady!!! Never knew anyone who baked them so often. Are they your favorites or Darth's???
Hi Lynn. I just hope that something good comes from last night. It wasn't difficult, really. It has been a long time.
I appreciate your empathy, though.
Lynn, the big question is this: Did you find a house that you like?
Still reading newspapers!
Even tho' I had already heard about it, seeing obits for two more retirees. TOO young, both of them.
Back from GROSSSSry shopping. Now on to walk the dogs, feed them, do the dishes and finish the laundry. BORING!!
Welcome back Lynnellen!
Oh.....and house is 400 steps (Frank's paces!) from the beach.
A relatively quiet street, with many permanent residents, including fire chief and two FF's.
Speaking of which, listening to my girl dispatching a medic call at the moment!
My computer seems too quiet. I think that it's unusual. So if I don't get back, assume it has died.
Hope you can work out a deal if that turns out to be the one you want, Lynn.
I checked out some of the real estate listings there just for the heck of it. Found a few million-dollar places and one that was quite more than a million. Lots of different kinds of places there.
Thanks, Lynne! Always nice to be home!
Having all kind of trouble with AOL email last night and today.....ticking me off!
Can't believe that SKINS don't come on until 8:30...y-a-w-n! But at least I didn't miss the game being at my meeting this afternoon!
Lynn, will you guys be renting your place out at all?
Just read an article online about a skeleton found standing on the side of the road. He was really scared. Seems he really wanted to cross the road, but he just didn't have the guts.
Yes, Lynn. Saw the Serendipity house. Knew it had been condemned, rescued, etc. Sure hope you can work out the details to make an offer.
Well, might as well make it official. I will be attending OH and Darth will be with me. Would like to know directions from Comfort Inn to NCTC so I can show him the nest, if that is allowed.
Now to go back and find the menu and list of activities for him to look at. BBL
Lynne, no, we won't be renting out the house.
Judie can show him the Sheetz in Shepherdstown.
WhooHoo---Dallas lost!
Lolly won't be pleased with that result.
Yea, Judie!! So glad you are going to be there. It won't be long now.
Lynn, I do hope it works out for the house. Sounds very interesting!
We have had a quiet evening, just finished our dinner. Going to stick my nose in a magazine, I think.
Where in Maine does Ragdoll live? Just curious.
You are so correct, Shirley. You would think Lynn could be a wee bit nicer, don't you think?
Lynn, everyone is entitled to her perversions.
the fisherman is back. They saw 2 eagles today!
Nothing new to report from these parts, but wanted to come by before the Redskins and say, "HI!"
Good to have you back on here, Lynn from the B____H!
Later ☺ ☺ ☺
RUBICON
BBL
LOL, Lolly, I don't consider it perverted at all! And you know I'm nice!! Just have never understood how your Boys can be called America's Team when it is SO obvious that the Nations' Capital team has the sole right to that title!!!
Don't know where in Maine Ragdoll Deb lives.
TOUCHDOWN, REDSKINS!!!!!
Tied game, 7-7.
Lynn, Jack says to tell you the Caps are going to have to win a Stanley Cup before anyone pays attention to them.
I am going to say good night now, though I really may sneak in a little later. Going to get comfy and really relax. Life is good...thank you, God!
Good night! Sweet dreams!
Don't understand the correlation, Lolly....er, Jack! What does hockey have to do with football???
Would like to stay up and watch the game, but I am not going to make it. I really need to get to work early tomorrow so I can get the testing materials together. We have to pick up the materials and sign them out. Everything has to be counted, etc. We had to sign a pledge that we won't copy tests, help students, etc.
Yeah, I don't get that, either, Lynn.
Just remembered that today is my folks' 68th anniversary. Of course, Daddy's been gone since '70.
I am going to have to let you folks hold down the fort. I am getting sleepy and really have to be ready to go tomorrow morning.
Good night and God bless.
Maybe I will turn on the TV upstairs for a little while.
Good night, Lolly and Shirley. Sleep tight!
Evening, all!
Been out and about all day, just got home a little while ago.
Watching Rubicon...
Jo, did you see the clover!
going to say my goodnights. Time to head for the heating pad and TV for Brothers and Sisters. Have a good night, and prayers for all!
Commercial time - Can't believe this is going to have a finale within 12 minutes.... anyway not one I will like.
BBILW
What's the score Lynn ?
Oh yes I did see the 4 leaf clover. Hubby said he has to kill himself... I thought something would be in the flowers and explode or expel poisonous
gas... Wonder where it will pick up
next season..... Don't forget how this one ended, Paula, so that you can remind me. lol
OK Halftime Skins 7 Colts 17
Not good ! Second half will be better!
Lynn, Jack just pitched a red herring, uh hockey puck, onto the playing field.
Score = not good.
Goodnight Shirley and Lolly.
Judie Judie Judie! lol
Y'all ever think how scary some comments are? I post and come back only to find Jo has seen a four-leaf clover and her hubby has to go into the flowers to kill himself with an explosion of poisonous gas. Ever so hopeful this was an event in a t.v. program.
LOL, Judie.....if someone doesn't have an answer, they just throw anything out to distract!
TD! 17-14!!!
Is it going to happen
Hold your breath & pray for that touchdown.....
Whoo Hoo
If you have the owl cam:
Momma owl is on the side of the pot
and the 1 baby owl is doing its
wing-exercises....
Eye appointment tomorrow after lunch..
Hubby needs to drive since my eyes will be dilated. I have a pair of very dark dark glasses to take for when I come out in the sunshine - just like
the Miners ! I hope we see more updates on those men!
Judie, Jo's hubby is not going to kill himself! Guy on TV has to!
Too much good TV on, hope i CAN CATCH UP WITH BROTHERS AND SISTERS LATER...
Judie, I remember when I talked about Marvin sleeping out on the porch & your comment was so funny when you said about Jo's hubby sleeping out on the porch. As you said earlier - we will make more memories this weekend!
It can't stop with a Sheetz! lol
LOL,we have to be really sharp and on our toes to follow us sometimes!
This UP & DOWN game is a killer!!!Should be an explosion under Manning!!!(when he's on the bench)
Whoa! where did that 24 - 14 come from
Right, Jo! I hope Judie directs Darth to Sheetz!!! LOL
Back to game if I can stand it!!
24-17...Colts up. Plenty of time yet!
Hi, Gang,
I'm with you, Judie!
Wow, 30% less on the offer sounds like a lot, Lynn. Hope it works out for ya'll.
But maybe that's because it's bank owned?
OMG---TOUCHDOWN. 3 points to go!!!!
Do you all think they can tie it up or that they can steal that ball and go for another TD
Yay Skins, keep it going...
Ya know, we could all get a hammer and some nails, etc. and drive down to Lynn's beach house!:)
Signing off for the night...
GOOD NIGHT MY FRIENDS
SWEET DREAMS
PRAYERS FOR ALL
27-24......just under 2 min. Hmmmm....
Aw man!
Heading upstairs, see ya'll tomorrow!
Hugs to all ♥
It's over.........darn it all....couldn't pull it out. Manning and company strike again. :(
It's a level walk, Wanda, so I can make it---slow and easy!
I had my hopes up!
It's Me Bear - can you hear me?
Okay, it was close but no cigar, er, hocky puck.
Will look for some news from Margy tomorrow.
Oh dear, I just heard a stealthy foot step. Yep, it's the sandperson. So, turning my light off but leaving the night light on. Andy has already set our security. Goodnight all.
Oh Lynn, sorry I did not realize Cinnamon has become so critical. I am very, very sorry and wish I could ease your burden.
Prayers for you Lynn tomorrow - I just realized what you were inferring.
Take care..
Good Night All
Prayers for All
Hugs for All ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Good early morning!
I did watch the end of the game last night while lying in bed. I was having trouble getting to sleep, so I just turned on the TV for a little while. It was not the ending I wanted to see.
See you later.
Funny, I think we kept the dogs up too late last night or something. I got up and didn't feed them nor let them out. They have both gone back to bed.
I need to get ready to get out of here.
Good Morning, Shirley,
Just got Hubby off to work 30minutes ago, so thought I'd check in here and see if our eagles were around. The live cam is "not available" right now. The still cam is showing lots of Spidey's handiwork. There's a white spot near 7 pm in the nest, but not sure whether it's tree bark, or what.
Lynn, have been praying for you last night and this morning. So very sorry that Cinnamon is in such critical condition. Had hoped for some improvement. Know only too well the decision you are facing, and would give anything if it weren't so. My heart is breaking along with yours. ((Hugs)) :o{
Shirley,
Sounds like you did keep the dogs up too far past their bedtime last night. Hope you have a great day at school.
Seems to be daylight now at the nest. No sign of our eagles on the still cam.
Need some breakfast and coffee. Will be back a little later.
Morning! Poor wifi, so on phone! Lynn, (((hugs)))!! So sorry about your cinny!
You have to understand Jack. He is always throwing wild things out!
Where are the "wahoos" for last nights game? :)
have a great day! On to Mystic!
Good Morning Eagle Pals
My deepest thoughts are with Lynn this morning, it is hard to find words of comfort, I am so sorry to hear that her precious doxie Cinnamon has had this illness and discomfort.
we know Cinnie is as precious to you, as you are to Us, Lynn
(( hugs around you Lynn ♥ ))
Good Monday Morning. I came right on wanting to hear from Lynn - Life is so lonely for a while when we lose a pet
and that seems to be the situation.
I'll just keep on praying for them.
Good morning, all.
Lynn, thinking of you a lot this morning.
Margy - I hope your visit with Anne went well. I am praying for her recovery.
I must get ready for Vision appointment
Touch base upon my return.
Eagle Owl cam with chat
Pop Up Cam only
Pot Plant Owl Blog
There you go..... Enjoy until our eagles decide to return......... BBL
interesting bird at BWO
not sure what it is
large and black
I think maybe a turkey vulture but still trying to see it better
Jo, look forward to you seeing the world clearly after dr. appt. and eyes return to normal.
Margy, glad your sister recognized you and you were able to visit with her. Prayers continue for her complete recovery.
Thank you, Jo, for the update on the pot owls. Thought I was seeing things with three in the pot this morning.
Jo,
Thanks for the link to the pot plant owl nest--Awwwww! They are SOOO cute! And you're right--they're captivating! Glad they're all back together again! Hope your eye Dr. appt. goes well. Prayers!
Margy,
Thrilled that your sister Anne is doing well and recognized you!

My granddaughter, who is studying to be an EMT is now driving an ambulance for The Berryville Fire Dept. The above comments are about a 5 year old that, along with his family is a close friend of Jillian (and Karla). Jillian was a first responder to this call, didn't know it was Cody. Walked into the house and he was blue and not breathing. Karla said she "Lost" it. Hope that was AFTER the child was taken to the hospital!
I just wanted to say that I talked to Dana yesterday and she was okay, having some family issues but okay.
New thread is up.
