it's hot... several of my suction cup window glass things are dropping like flies off the window
saw a show on History Channel last night, about Sasquatch (sp) one segment showed Dr. Lynn Rogers from Ely Minnesota and stated he is one of the foremost experts on black bears ...well we know that !
Speaking of heat....Chrissy has been suffering in 90 degree temps---no AC, and her fans are in storage! Crazy girl says she opens freezer and stands there to cool off---of course, Frank gives her heck for that!!
Just watched Mr Blue Jay take a peanut in the shell from the deck. He flew up to the tree - I have never been able to see them crack and eat the peanuts. He held it with his foot and half way through it dropped to the ground. He dived bombed down to the ground and grabbed it and finished it off up in the tree. That was my entertainment for the day I think!
It is really sun screen weather out there today! Now if we had an ocean breeze with it we would know we were at the Beach! :<)
Graduation this evening and I hope the predicted T-storm happens during the ceremony inside Knotts arena so that the kids can have their Safe & Sane down at the Discovery (?) Park.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CEIL!!!!! Have a wonderful Day & Year!! Just saw the bear reunion video! How special and so fantastic that Lily was still able to accept baby (hormone wise). You don't know h0ow many MN bear links I put in My Faves! Seem to show everything. Thx friends for cat tips. I went thru this a year & 1/2 ago, but our vet intervened w/trap & socialization & we kept the little stray who is a sweetie. This is a different matter. Fubby just went down to new animal shelter to see what they would do.If we don't like it, will start searching. Gotta check email~~been 3 days??? Prayers for healing of GGs leg.♥
Have finished the lawn. Now to clean up, prepare pizza casserole to take to Denton, then head out. Today is Jacob's "Worst day of my life." roflmbo Bless him!
Wonder what Lily and Hope are doing right now? Hope for a detailed report today.
Jo, glad you clarified about gd graduation. Thought for a moment the heat had gotten you.
Hot here. Bright sun. Need to plant veggies and flowers but ground still too wet. No win No win
Blue Jays are always stealing peanuts. However, have an interesting cardinal this year. Loves peanuts and when I imitate, or try to imitate his sounds, he flies to the table or a chair on the patio and waits for me to toss a peanut. Does his peanut thing and then returns. Really fun and he doesn't seem even a little nervous. Our pair have at least two babies. Chipmonk has decided it's safe enough to take seeds/peanuts from my hand.
That's cool, Judie. Just don't let the chipmunk bite you!! Remember once when Carolyn was a toddler she was sitting in the driveway playing and a very young squirrel came up to her and bit her finger! Not serious...and kind of cute.
One time we trained a squirrel to come eat out of our hands. No More! We proved that it can be done, but it is too risky!
Our wrens have flown the coop. I can now water the begonia in the pot. It suffered only a little for lack of water. Wondering now if the wrens will come back to lay more eggs in the nest.
Good afternoon everyone. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL THE CARDS AND BIRTHDAY WISHES. It has been a busy morning with phone calls and deliveries. Will be going out to dinner. Will have a gin and tonic and toast everyone that we are at the same spot next year. Forgot about the banding at PA but got to see the last one and thank you God for uniting Lily and Hope.
Falcon chicks back out on the ledge and adult is right there with them! The presentation of the banding program for us and the audience was very well done.
Happy Birthday Cecil and Hello All! Wow, all kinds of stuff going on. Great news on the Lily-Hope reunion. yippppeeeeeee And, great coverage at the PA Falcon site on the banding today. Very nicely done.
Ohhhhhh I just checked on the PA Falcons and all the babies are piled up in the nest box. I think they are afraid the boogey man will come back and get them.
Chipmonk is very gentle. So soft and tiny and quick. Someday I'll tell the story of a squirrel named slamdunk. This is a first for a wild and beautiful bird.
Thank you, Lolly, for the Lily/Hope article. Nicely written.
Forgot about the banding. Have been trying to figure out a computer issue. Have Windows XP/Vista. Created a new bookmarks folder for wildlife cams. Can't seem to figure out how to create a desktop shortcut for the new folder -- grrrrr!
I've been studying for my English class, but just remembered that it's Ceil's birthday today!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CEIL!!! Hope your day is just wonderful! Enjoy!
Really enjoyed the video of Lily and Hope--am so glad that Dr. Rogers decided to interfere!
Boy, all of you back east sure are having an early and brutal summer! It's 69 here so far, and kind of overcast. Think it's supposed to warm up into the 70s for the weekend. Wish I could send some of this your way! Well, better get back to studying. Will try to check back later, before school. Have a good afternoon! :o]
The second eaglet to go back on the PH nest was not a happy camper. Surprised it wasn't more aggressive. Excellent views. Now they referred to a banding but it appeared that they were fitted with trackers. Is that correct? Love the numbers..... that's just too funny.
Looks like the oil leak might be getting capped; the stock market is all in the green; something else good happened, but I can't think of what it was right now....
Hahaha. I see you are having a heat wave, but we've already topped the predicted high of 69° for today ??? Who knows how high it will go now.
Brilliant blue wing blings at PH I did miss it.... but thanks for the comments. Too much banding going on during one day I sometimes can't keep up with it all! But I try!
sUSAn, the blue plastic (Santa Cruz Island; red for Catalina) markers are locally called "wing-blings".
Santa Cruz is just beginning its recovery of eagle numbers, and they still put tracking devices on the chicks. But it's just too expensive to put them on the Catalina chicks.
This year they could have some chicks on Santa Rosa...don't know the details about those yet.
I had completely forgotten about PH...went out and got the mowing done, and then saw where Paula mentioned it....got on just in time to see Dr. Sharpe reaching nest.
No sign of mama robin on nest for three days..found a broken shell on ground about 15 ft. from nest with embryo still in it. Can't help but think that the torrential rains from the weekend caused a problem somehow.
I have told myself that I must sit here for long enough to grade a few papers. Just had someone's cell phone bill fall out of their paper. Yikes! Glad I don't have to pay that. I stapled it to the paper so I am sure the kid gets it back.
Got my vacuuming done yesterday and cleaned out gutter. So feel like I've accomplished a lot! Hi, Jim! You've gotta get your sleep patetrn straightened out!!
I will start now (I am a slow mover) to get dinner and then dressed for the graduation ceremony. Told gd to please take an umbrella.. Sometimes kids don't think about the basics - but she said she put it in the car! That's my gal!
wow lots happenin' on the nest cams today and personal wildlife things... great reports from everyone Hope the robins will be okay, Lynn...maybe a couple of eggs survived the storms
anyone going out on any back roads today? Tar Bubbles, yeah it's hot
sounds like a nice cool day for Ceil...deliveries, hope she tells us more ! Enjoy your Birthday evening, Ceil xo ♥
just a note: most of the folks recently getting copies of the NCTC article: these are from Suzanne..she sent me her extras and I surely needed them! Thanks Suzanne....will tell you that by email too !
saw a great-crested flycatcher and also Baltimore Oriole today, both very pretty birds...easy to tell by their song if you can't see them but much more fun to see them
Really anxious for the 12th Nest Visit! Sounds like a good turn out.... Now if we can keep Palmer away from the launch pad another 2 weeks we might get to see the 'fly out'
See ya Jim, I peeked in on Phoebe's big babies...well they are really tiny probably but they sure look like giants in their nest! Hope you see the Full Moon tonight... Planting Moon Flower Moon Planting Flowers Moon...our Planting Flowers Gal Megan passes this along the Full Moon names to us each month xo
I like to think of this as the MEGAN MOON:) Hope it shines on her, brightly and helps her to have a great weekend! We like it when one of "OURS" does well;)
I so loved the Lily and Hope video...even Capt.Gene sat down and watched it with me:) His rely: That's Neat! I think most men LOVE this nature stuff...they just don't always admit it:)
Oh good to see you Wanda...how's everything going... so nice you could watch that video with Gene....always fun to share special things with a loved one ♥
Yes, I vote naming this moon the Megan Moon and dedicating all good things her way these days...
Wanda on the Caringbridge info today for Mason Mason's family secured a nice van ... they are calling it the Mason Express! It sorta resembles one of the older Pan Tran buses, or senior services buses, and actually resembles that bus at Patuxent River Park that we all rode in last year !!
okay got to go take care of a few chores see you pals later on xo
Yes, I did see the Mason Express. Didn't know if they owned it yet or were asking for donations to purchase it. Looks like a party bus to me...GO, MASON:)
GG was more cheerful today than yesterday. Made her a baked potato with broccoli and cheese sauce. She ate part of it then layed down for a nap. About a half hour later, she came out and said she had an empty feeling in her tummy and needed something to eat. I warmed up the potato and she ate the rest of it! YOU GO GG! So many good things in there for her (vitamins)...she ate a banana for desert. Makes me so happy when she eats like that♥
Dustin is coming tomorrow to spend the weekend. Need his help and love, badly:) He hasn't had time to spend a weekend here for a couple of months. Might bring him to our Nest Visit on the 12th if no one minds. He won't bother anyone like a kid, but we may have to keep him away from the food!
Sitting in my recliner at last. Tomorrow is "Blue Devil Pride Day." We have blocks 1 and 2, then we're outdoors for picnicking and games for the rest of the day.
Graduation is the 12th, so two of my classes will not be back after that. One nice thing about teaching seniors, but the downside is that I have to turn in their grades early.
All kinds of bird songs around the nest, and some cries from Palmer. Speaking of bird songs, I heard the mockingbird through my fireplace again when I got home this evening.
Update on FB: Lily and Hope are doing fine. Hope seems healthy and is happily playing with Lily and nursing. Activities are centered around the white pine.
Wanda, glad GG got some nourishment today. Hope that continues and her leg will heal quickly.
Shirley, hope the day was fun activities for you and the students. Is the recliner as good as, or better than, the new mattress?
Palmer just seems so anxious to take off and be a teenager. All the signs are there.
Have an early day tomorrow. Going to the big school house to try to learn how to transfer VHS crime videos to DVD. Please say some technology prayers for me.
Turning my light out but leaving the night light on for others coming in. Andy, thank you for remembering to set our alarm for us. Until tomorrow, pleasant eagle and bear cub dreams.
Goodnight, Judie. You will do fine with the transfer. Machine does all the work!! Shirley, so glad the mattress is working for you. You'll know it even more when school is out and you can really unwind!
George, who lives near Philly, sort of I think, went to the Harrisburg banding today. Here's some pics he posted on the CHIL forum. I met him during a Cruzer visit to Conowingo last year.
Graduation ceremony was great! They started right at 7pm and were finished by 8:15pm. It included music and speeches and then the 'March across the stage'! We have 2 more gs the next 2 & 3 yrs. Also Congratulations to my 6yr old ggs - He is being home schooled and today after his evaluation he was passed to 2nd grade! Very proud of him and his mom!
not sure how long both were there, just one now, had Phoebe's h-bird site up which slows things down... but I usually open up Finland after NCTC so 15 mins ago the nest was empty
saw a beautiful dog in the neighborhood being walked by its owner: a beagle lab mix, black and white like a cow, sort of with a few little black spots
thanks again Paula.. got Goat's Beard in seed today, that's a big one, have lots of pics to post but it's going to take a few days... red-shouldered hawk babies still in the nest there were swimmers there today, babies and parents very quiet..but the adult flew directly overhead and perched in a branch
also drove OVER top of a snake, watched it in my rear view mirror wriggling away black snake I think
wow that is some necklace that O at Finland is sporting... guess that would be the female saving a few pics to send to Suzanne...for when she gets back to the computer
well, Finney land has three, but Finland water lost their eggs a few weeks ago to the territorial squabble and crows and bothersome boaters.... possibly the original male was injured or....killed I can't remember the last time I saw two birds at Finney but I did get a pic of the three eggs a few nights ago
Just got home from school. Got my Practice homework turned in. No classes until next Tuesday! Whoo HOO!!
Actually had some light rain on the way to school tonight. Wish there had been a little more--this just messed up the car really well. Guess it'll need a wash.
Haven't seen any Band-tailed pigeons since we got back from vacation. Wonder if they've moved on. Cannot BELIEVE how big Palmer is, after not seeing her for a week!!! Growing just like a teenager!
Mema Jo, last week we were feeding unsalted, dry roasted peanuts (already shelled) to the Steller's Jays near Tahoe. The little piggies loved them! We gave some to the squirrels and a cute little chipmunk, too. Had a lot of fun watching them. Too wary to eat out of your hand, though.
Well, I'm kinda tired tonight, so think I'll go veg in TV land for awhile. Leaving the night light on, and the porch light is automatic. The eye scanner security is enabled. Prayers said for everyone. Congrats to the graduates! Another Birthday wish for Ceil! Sleep tight, everyone, and I'll talk to you tomorrow. God bless, and good night! Love all you guys! :o]
Late Good Evening to Everyone! It was so hot today, I didn't do much outside until dinnertime! Now we had lots of thunder and lightning. It's cooling off-good! and hear the rain now. Hope there wasn't any for Jo's graduation! Guess I should shut down---Pleasant Feather Dreams whether you're in bed or lounge chair ☺ ;>)
and another egg-turning at Finney and the nest is empty now at Finland... it wasn't driving me nuts, I just couldn't keep up sure happy to see TWO there
Hi all! Just getting on to quickly say Hi and Bye! Jacob's program was fun, then we went out for ice cream. Took a picture of Joseph. Will try to get it on here soon. His third grade class did a study on the rain forest. His project was the Harpy Eagle. He did research on it and then he made a paper one, life size. He did a great job.
Driving home we were looking at the beautiful moon.
Wanda, Jack has also been interested in the Hope drama. I told him I now want to go to Ely. He laughed and agreed. So hopefully some day soon. That is part of the country we have not visited.
They said the detailed report on Hope will be very late. Think I'll go bathe, then check one more time before bed.
Looks like we are going to have 20 or so nest goers on the 12th! This is going to be almost as big as Open House crowd...WONDERFUL! Bluefield crew and Bedford girls, Forrestville's Loretta & Frank, Miss Norma, to name a few. It's going to be a fun day:)
GOOD NIGHT MY FRIENDS PRAYERS FOR ALL THANKS GIVEN FOR ANSWERED PRAYERS
Mike and Ellen are my neighbors across the street. They have already replaced the cat carrier and we were just joking about having the one Hope rode in--and, believe me, Hope was not very happy about riding in it--plated in gold. They really do plan to keep the damaged carrier--after Mike gives it a VERY THOROUGH cleaning!
As it said in the news article Mike and Ellen had gone out for a drive--but mainly to give one last try to find Hope. When they saw the cub (her big ears, actually) moving on the gravel road, they parked and tried to keep Hope in sight. Mike bushwhacked through the woods to get behind her and Ellen stayed on the road. Ellen just happened to have Sue's number still on her cell and called immediately. They kept Hope in sight as she climbed the cedar.
Sue and Lynn were over twenty minutes away so Ellen and Mike stayed at the base of that tree talking to Hope, biting flies and all, trying to keep her from climbing down and running off. Mike had to be more firm when he talked as Hope was about to come down to him. Ellen called Sue again and said, What should we do if she comes down? Sue said to grab Hope by the back of the neck and hang on. There was some discussion as to who would do it--if necessary.
Luckily, just then Sue and Lynn arrived and they took over. You can hear Ellen's voice at the beginning of the video (while Hope is still in the cedar tree) asking if it's okay for them to go back to the road. They are still thrilled to have been able to help save Hope and Ellen said she could hardly sleep last night. They are great friends to the bears and truly deserve to be honored.
Pretty Palmer was giving me heart attacks this morning, going her wingercizing on the far (top) edge of the nest and flipping 180's facing the inside, then the outside. OMG! Then she decided to fly over the the tree trunk by the camera and mug. She's amazing!

Thanks, Ragdoll. I'm biased, but yeah, I think she's beautiful! The bells are a really special link between us, as I played bells at church as a teen.
Happy Birthday to our Momster Ceil!
Enjoy your day - make it special!
OMG, Jo---just finished watching CSI:NY---what in the world is it going to take to kill Casey off???
All of these cliff-hangers are driving me crazy.

Margy, James just doesn't appreciate your eclectic side!!! I get criticized when I wear blues and greens, too!! C'est la vie!
Speaking of heat....Chrissy has been suffering in 90 degree temps---no AC, and her fans are in storage! Crazy girl says she opens freezer and stands there to cool off---of course, Frank gives her heck for that!!

Apparently doing the banding in the auditorium....that's neat. Looks a little bit like NCTC.
Wow, she sure is a noisy girl! So pretty!
Now he says it's a boy.
Hedgie, could you please forward the banding site. I have been trying without success.

Very thoughtful of Larry to have planted the flowers on their raft! Really looks beautiful...

Palmer needs to get moving and flapping her wings.
Lolly thank you for all the updates on Hope. I am still so excited.
It is warm here today but nothing like yesterday. It was 96 when I got home yesterday. By 8:00pm it was 67. What a nice change to sleep in.
Have to wrap things up here at school.
Have a great afternoon.

yes PA always does a wonderful job
The eaglet that DR S just measured is a female.
Loos like Steff banded a male.
thanks Paula, forgot about them
Now drawing the blood for contaminants analysis and DNA analysis and stable isotope analysis
ouch:(

Eaglets are back in PH nest.

Palmer is frisking around the nest
just a note:
most of the folks recently getting copies of the NCTC article:
these are from Suzanne..she sent me her extras and I surely needed them! Thanks Suzanne....will tell you that by email too !
oh Jo, my manners, sorry:
Congratulations to the graduation girl...and Best wishes for a Super Future ahead
hope the weather and the A/C behaves as it should!
Jo, wedding and graduation all in one week! Whew....lots of new beginnings!
I see Palmer has been spending lots of time at the launch pad today...
Well, the 2 times I've looked today, anyhow.
I see PH chicks are back in the nest, gosh they are so big! Haven't seen them since they were little...
Yes, Paula, she seems to be scoping out the 1 o'clock spot the most, but sure likes it near the tree trunk too
sure hope your schedule lightens up a little...3-day week-end for you by any chance?
saw a great-crested flycatcher and also Baltimore Oriole today, both very pretty birds...easy to tell by their song if you can't see them but much more fun to see them
got to disappear here for a little bit
hope the rest of the day is good for everyone
wondering how Wanda and GG are doing...
Well then tomorrow is a picnic and Sat is a dinner out! It is hard to stop when you're on a roll! wheeeeeee!
Really anxious for the 12th Nest Visit!
Sounds like a good turn out.... Now
if we can keep Palmer away from the launch pad another 2 weeks we might get to see the 'fly out'
I'll see you later friends
Have fun, Jo. Praying for cooperative weather!
I swear, I think our bird has glued herself to the tree!
According to the Weather Channel the prevailing wind in Sheptown is ENE. Probably Palmer is just facing into the wind, combating the heat.
What do you think??
It also mentions T-Storms later today......

Jim
I'll see you all later. Gotta take care of stuff I'm behind on right now.

SORRY...HIS REPLY.
the lookout spot at the top of Dry Run Road at Park's Gap is guardrailed and cabled now so I can't go watch the Moon Rise from there anymore :(
I never even noticed the typo Wanda...LOL
ttfn
xo
HAs the cable and guardrail done anything to stop the dumping, Margy? Don't think the gopher cam helped much, did it???
know what Lynn? I never even knew about the gopher cam!
I guess it is holding down on the dumping and riff-raff parking there....
Wanda
on the Caringbridge info today for Mason
Mason's family secured a nice van ... they are calling it the Mason Express! It sorta resembles one of the older Pan Tran buses, or senior services buses, and actually resembles that bus at Patuxent River Park that we all rode in last year !!
okay got to go take care of a few chores
see you pals later on
xo
hope autopilot kicks in soon !
Steve must be back home from his trip...auto pilot is not working;)
Shirley, when are you done for the Summer?
June 16.
Graduation is the 12th, so two of my classes will not be back after that. One nice thing about teaching seniors, but the downside is that I have to turn in their grades early.
I did get to see the Hope-Lily reunion. I can't see You Tube at school.
Evening, all.
I see Palmer perched at the back of the nest around 1ish...looks like an old pro!
I don't think there is an auto posting feature....Steve probably didn't have internet access.
Wanda, Dustin is always welcome, as are all kids!
All kinds of bird songs around the nest, and some cries from Palmer. Speaking of bird songs, I heard the mockingbird through my fireplace again when I got home this evening.
I got to see that pretty moon last night!
Jo, congrats to GD!!! Go with the roll, sounds like a great week!
I got to see the Lily and Hope video....so glad they were able to reunite them!
Wanda, glad GG was feeling better today!
Dustin is a good kid. Hunter enjoyed spending time with him at Conowingo.
Palmer has wings drooped...trying to cool off.
Hot here today....99°...no thuderstorms yet....
You get the full effect of the reunion if you turn up the sound at You Tube and on the computer. Lots of bear talk.
Happy Birthday Ceil!!
Update on FB: Lily and Hope are doing fine. Hope seems healthy and is happily playing with Lily and nursing. Activities are centered around the white pine.
Happy Birthday, Ceil!!!!
Just think, your garland has been traveling for a good 5 months now.
Good night visit.
Good night, Judie. It's tomorrow that we have all of the activities. I slept better last night on the new mattress. I snooze easily on the recliner.
LINK
Make sure you go to the next page as well, George just posted some more shots.
Wow, just saw a scampering Spidey!
Palmer under the cam again, looking north.
I can't even imagine what this would have been like! A Story from England!
The Eagle has Landed
Good Evening Eagle Friends.
Happy Birthday Ceil
Sissy thank you I watched the video 3 times. So Great ! (:
Paula great story. Stopping in to say thank you to everyone again for all the birthday wishes. Pleasant dreams.
Mema Jo I know you are so pleased with the family.
Hope my eyes feel better tomorrow. Caused me some trouble today. Don't know why; wasn't on here or tv. Started when I woke up this AM.
I use to love to fee the squirrels our of my hand. They never did bother are screen in the storm door. They were just never destructive.
I seen an HP laptop felt like getting it. Would feel better if I knew more of what to get.
Veru nice reading comments and enjoying everyones stories.
Really getting heavy eyes.
Prayers for those that need them.
I have had a great day - except for the heat!!
Dana I pray your eyes will feel better when you awaken tomorrow morning.
Everyone drive safe in your travels this memorial day weekend. I am staying local with picnics and family gatherings.

Wow, the breeze from the rain feels really good!
Nope, Margy, no one posted that yet.
BLT's sound great!
I had dinner out of a box! Pasta with a cheap cheddar sauce...think I'll pick up some tomatoes tomorrow and go for the BLT
Margy, your dandelion pic is pretty!
Thanks Paula
not sure how long both were there, just one now,
had Phoebe's h-bird site up which slows things down...
but I usually open up Finland after NCTC so 15 mins ago the nest was empty
saw a beautiful dog in the neighborhood being walked by its owner: a beagle lab mix, black and white like a cow, sort of
with a few little black spots
Have to say good night and shut down the system. Storm is on the way.
thanks again Paula..
got Goat's Beard in seed today, that's a big one,
have lots of pics to post but it's going to take a few days...
red-shouldered hawk babies still in the nest
there were swimmers there today, babies and parents very quiet..but the adult flew directly overhead and perched in a branch
also drove OVER top of a snake, watched it in my rear view mirror wriggling away
black snake I think
Got some thunder now, but only sprinkles.
two o's again at Finland !
ooops sorry just one again, in and out and in and out
going to watch for awhile
Good Night Shirley
all quiet here so far
clouds a little wind no rain
and some "heat lightning"
Nice pics on your blogs, Margy. Love the red shouldered hawks nest and all the wild flowers.
How many eggs at Finland?
I've been a little slow about getting new ones up Paula...
maybe over the week-end
thank you ☺
Aha, 3 eggs,
Hopefully BWO will start hatching this weekend!
wow that is some necklace that O at Finland is sporting...
guess that would be the female
saving a few pics to send to Suzanne...for when she gets back to the computer
Now it's storming here! Thunder, lightening and rain. Will be a good drink for my outdoor plants, even though I water them this evening.
Good thing storms don't bother my dogs, it's really cracking out there!
Good thing storms don't bother my dogs, it's really cracking out there!
well, Finney land has three, but Finland water lost their eggs a few weeks ago to the territorial squabble and crows and bothersome boaters....
possibly the original male was injured or....killed
I can't remember the last time I saw two birds at Finney
but I did get a pic of the three eggs a few nights ago
..just sirens huh...hope they don't start sounding...
love that video from aways back
Great story, Paula----sent it to Chrissy!! And your friend got some really good shots in Harrisburg!
No rain here.....but it suddenly has started cooling down. I think they said only 75 tomorrow!
That's one thing nice about laptop, can run it on battery in case the electric blinks, which it just did....makes me reset my internet connection
Yes, George got some neat shots...did you see them with the brooms, LOL
He stayed outside the whole banding time.
headed to that Harrisburg link now Paula,
thanks in advance...
I better quit jacking up the number of blog posts with no new thread today....

I'd make you a BLT, maybe another time
Good Night everyone,

'Night
P.S. One back at Fin ferry with a big stick!! Also saw egg turning at Finland.
Hi, Margy & Paula,
Just got home from school.
Guess I should shut down---Pleasant Feather Dreams whether you're in bed or lounge chair ☺ ;>)
and another egg-turning at Finney
and the nest is empty now at Finland...
it wasn't driving me nuts, I just couldn't keep up
sure happy to see TWO there
great link to pics Paula
Good Night Andy..enjoy your looong week-end
Yawn ... sorry but I'm so tired I must shut down for the night.
Watched the banding at Rachel Carson Bldg. and Lily & Hope's reunion. dWas a great way to spend the afternoon.
So, I"ll say goodnight friends and prayers going up for those wanted and needed and thanks for the answered prayers.
See you tomorrow.
God bless
GOOD NIGHT MY FRIENDS
PRAYERS FOR ALL
THANKS GIVEN FOR ANSWERED PRAYERS
Found this discussion on the Lily facebook......
Nite all! Sweet dreams!
Pretty Palmer was giving me heart attacks this morning, going her wingercizing on the far (top) edge of the nest and flipping 180's facing the inside, then the outside. OMG! Then she decided to fly over the the tree trunk by the camera and mug. She's amazing!
Lib or Belle must have dropped off some sort of nugget and I missed it.
Palmer is now standing and gnawing on what looks like a small piece of something, maybe a rodent? A nestover?
She does have BIG feet!!!
Yep think that was a nestover. She picked up a piece of it with her foot and took a few steps - cute!
Now, she's rummaging for more scraps. Poor baby is hungry.
New thread. Ya'll come on over.
