Jo you will be in De and we will be in OC I will send you my cell phone number. Loretta I will not be in town on TU How long will you and your daughter be in B town.
I'll hopefully see you on the boardwalk Ceil! lol I don't really do boardwalk except sit and people watch. If I do go I'll call you Lynn and you can hit the OC Cam to see me wave. lol
Have been really busy this morning doing laundry and cleaning house. Jo and Ceil, hope you both have a great time at the 'B word'! Hope you are able to stay in touch; will miss you!
Omigosh, Lynn! The final flight of Atlantis! Will have to see that one. Will watch for your reminder! TY in advance!
Am going to try for some bird photos today. Put some fruit out on the oriole feeder, and a TON of birdseed for the others. The hummers are in the midst of a territorial war, so they're all over the place. Camera's handy, and the binoculars too. Here's hoping! I could SWEAR the all-brown bird I've seen is a Clay-colored Robin, but bird book says they only make it to Mexico and Southern Texas. A real puzzler! Will try for a picture, if the little rascal shows up again. Hoping our ornery neighbor holds his fire--the Black-crowned Night Herons are squawking like Pterodactyls this morning! At least 2 nests in our big ficus trees, and apparently lots of hungry youngsters! MTBR....
I'm going to go get showered and dressed, and run a couple of errands--so I won't have to go anywhere for the rest of the day. That way I can birdwatch to my heart's content! BBL.... :o]
Andy, what a shame that you can't get pics of the herons and their nests up in your trees! Would love to see that! BTW---congrats on another A!!!! How long a break will you have between semesters?
Jo, hope I'm here to get your call so I can see your w~a~v~e!!!
not at all, Lynn...one of my fav, volunteer jobs was working at Suburban Hospital in Bethesda....in the CCU with the nurses, used to work every week and spent 8 to 9 hours there, knew all the nurses on all 3 shifts...really miss working there sometimes
Mits, you've been holding back on us. Never knew that you were a hospital volunteer!! You really put in some long hours. And I'm sure you saw a lot in CCU. I speak for most nurses in thanking YOU for supporting us, patients and their families.
Loretta I have been doing that copy and paste and edit thing for a long time, offsets the blogger cop problems I still make typos! glad your daughter is coming to visit. Lynne mentioned Lightning bugs yesterday didn't you see some a couple of weeks ago ? xo
Got this (on my avatar - "Bless My Blooms") at Cracker Barrel a few days ago Hope it helps my garden (if the neighborhood kids don't steal it) Hoping to get some new Megan Flowers from market on Mother's Day ☺
Blessing on you Lynn, and happy Nurses Day! We think of you as our very own, very special nurse.
Mowed this morning, mopped the patio, baked two loaves of banana nut bread, and made a Swedish Pineapple cake. Kitchen is all cleaned. All ready for Sharon and Dan to arrive. We are going out to eat tonight.,
Thanks for all the Nurse tributes!!! Yep, you all are my patient patients!! Love each of you! Margy, cute garden accessory. Do you have problems with things getting stolen really? :( Lolly, enjoy your company. Sure don't know how you keep your girlish figure with all those yummies!! Oh, yeah I do.....you work it off!!
Dan called they are here. A great RV park is just minutes from our house on I 35. They are picking us up in 30 minutes to go to Dos Gringos to eat. Yummy! Margarita here I come!
Brensin sees me nursing Gianni....he says "Gianni eating mommies boobie!" I say "yes Brensin Gianni is eating" he stares intently for like 60 seconds and then says "I WANNA BITE!!!!"
Good Evening My Eagle Friends. I haven't dropped in for a week. Been so darn busy. It's that time of year (at School) where it gets real crazy. No time to play. I have been checking Palmer when I get a chance and sometimes a quick lurk. No enough time to stay caught up.
Paula - I just had the best laugh I have had in days. The story about Brensin and nursing is sooo cute and funny. The innocents of children. Don't you just love it. LOL
AJ's account of Brensin and Gianni reminds me of a time when my Aunt Frances (the one who just passed away) was nursing her Mid-Life baby and my Denise asked me why the baby was eating her elbow:) (she was 2, just about Brensin's age). OUT OF THE MOUTHS OF BABES.
Evening Everyone! Looked at Live & Still cams, & Spidey has ruined the view! I guess I saw just Palmer in the nest.? Was busy today & this afternoon headed down the highway for a haircut. Traffic stopped~~~~paving one lane. Thank goodness it was soon quitting time! Was just on phone w/daughter & heard birds! She had window open & crows were chasing the deer away from the corn! CEIL, I asked her about Aquarium & she said one of their dinner meetings will be right there!!! Isn't that exciting? So TY anyway. Sounds like a place for a field trip! I've seen the new jellyfish exhibit ad on TV.,
Those are really funny nursing stories!!! "Kids say the darndest things!"
BTW, I've been reading about the "B" word! We're going to Solomons for a day~~does that almost count? We used to take a classic car to OC for their big meet about mid-May each year. I wonder if that was Springfest?
Good Night My Eagle Buddies. Heading upstairs to bed. "5:30 COMES FAST." Another crazy day at school. Prayers for all needs for all. Sweet Feather dreams. ^..^
Goodnight, Ragdoll! Hope that you get a break from school for the summer.
Loretta, Solomon's counts as B to me!!! It probably was the same 'fest then as now.
I have my own nursing story. Once when I was nursing Christie, Carolyn was watching. Chris fell asleep and her little head lolled off to one side, and Caro said "Mommy, Baby fell off the boobie!" Yep....out of the mouths of babes!
Quiet here tonight! Others will probably pop in now that PP is over, but I've gotta say my adieux. Early morning tomorrow---retiree breakfast. So I am hitting the hay. Peaceful slumber for all. Prayers for all our needs.
Duh!--Didn't realize it was Nurses' Day today! Happy Nurses' Day! Sure do appreciate you!
Just got home from school about 20 minutes ago. As I pulled in the driveway, 3 night herons were visible in the big tree out front. By the time I pulled in the garage and ran for my camera, they had taken off to go fishing. Drat! Will try again tomorrow, either early morning or at dusk. Will set my cell phone alarm!
Wouldn't you know, no unusual birds today, probably because I had my camera within reach all day! Figures.
Going to leave the night light on. The porch light's ready to go. The eye scanner security has been enabled. Prayers being said for everyone--especially Chrissy and family! So doggone concerned about them! Hope they're OK. Wish we would hear. (((HUGS)))!!
Sleep tight, everyone, and sweet dreams. Will talk to you in the morning. God bless, and goodnight! Love you guys! :o]
Andrea, yes, we are all concerned for Chrissy. We had gotten so used to hearing from her often, that it feels like we are missing a link in our chain! It is my thought, that when she gets settled into her new life and she is not so devastated over her loss, she will contact us, perhaps from a friends puter or someplace like a Library.
Getting on to say good night. Had an enjoyable evening....good food, good conversation. Now I need to get to bed. Have to get up early to go be a "Mommy" at Jacobs school. Poor Laurel! So sorry she can not go. I will certainly enjoy it though!
Enjoyed all the nursing stories. I have one. Laurel is very tall and slender with tiny boobies. She was nursing Joseph when we went to Georgia to visit family. When it was time to feed him, Laurel would pump (as we traveled) and then we would give him a bottle while still buckled up in his seat. Then we would stop to burp him, wash the pump and change him. We had stopped at a gas station for Laurel to wash the pump, etc. A lady came in and asked Laurel what that was. Laurel explained it was a breast pump. She looked at Laurel and said incredulously, "Girl, you got breasts? Laurel came out just dying laughing.
Just a thought! Surely they forward mail in England. Maybe we could shower Chrissy with snail mail to the address that we all have. Bet she would like that! We could all find funny cards. That would even be better. Chrissy loves a good laugh!
GOOD MORNING... The sun is trying to peek through here at Nestville. It is 46°, going up to a beautiful 77°. The next few days are going to be cool, in the 60s til Wednesday. Don't like 60s, too cool, although that is good mowing weather:)
I looked in on Palmer, just in time for a poop shoot. He really does back way up to the edge of the nest:)
Saw Palmer wingersizing and hopping up and down. Great to see but hate that it is one step closer to a fledge.
Lowreeda, enjoy your daughter's visit and hope Dustin's mowing business takes off when he's healed.
Lynn, a day late but Happy Nurses Day!
Andy, congratulations on another A and do take some time to enjoy all the birds. Wish we had more variety here but do enjoy what we have.
Jo, glad you made it to the B____. Enjoy!
Lolly, enjoy the weekend AND enjoy being Jacob's mommy today.
Ragdoll, you and Shirley have my prayers for a good end of the school year. My day finished yesterday and I cannot be happier. Slept well last night.
Lolly, I wonder if Chrissy has an address to forward to? I hope so but have to wonder where they are.
Also, maybe I missed something along the way but do think I saw that Norma's mailbox is full. Does anyone know if she is sick or in hospital? Did something upset her with the blog family?
Hi Margy and Jim. Also, congratulations Bob! Sorry if I missed important events over the past week. Not intentional.
Judie, I think that Norma is having problems with an aging computer, as I understand it. One of our Momsters Angels, maybe Margy, called her and she is well and misses being on here with us. When one of us wins the LOTTERY, we will buy Norma a new computer and help out Chrissy;)
good FRIDAY morning everyone....latest from PA Falcon cam.......
5/7/2010 :: Status of Eggs One of the two remaining eggs was broken sometime overnight. There is one unhatched egg remaining. Since there was yolk in the broken egg, it most likely was infertile, or at least, any embryo had little development. If the other egg is not viable, it will begin to decay, and will be vulnerable to breaking under the process of decomposition.
Things in my computer are "spookie". Pages moving around. For months I have had no color on homepage or you all blogs (background color). Today I blow out my machine and must have blow in the color LOL It has been acting slow for weeks though.
Good Morning Everyone in Eagleland. Saw Palmer earlier & is one big brown blob in nest!!How lucky we are to have him/her!! ♥ Thk you, Judie for good wishes on our daughter's visit. She is so organized--was already packed last night. I'm going to make her take pics at Nat'l Aquarium the night she is there. She also will be at a meeting where guest speaker is Watson of Watson and Krook(sp?) who discovered DNA about 40-50 years ago! He is about 90, but she wants to get his book & have him sign it. Checked the WTE cam on EENet & Looduskalender and they have TWO hatched eaglets!!!Look same as ours~~white fuzzy heads and dark eye band. Gotta get back to work around here....
Good almost noontime! Good breakfast out this AM with fellow retirees. Only about 10 of us this month.
Judie, yippee for you.....No more school!!! Freedom! Time to kick up your heels, gal!
I talked to Norma a couple of days ago. She had lost her link to the nest/blog after Lise cleaned up her puter. I told her how to get back on. She verified same old email address, but her inbox is full and won't accept more....I should probably call her back and tell her to dump it!
LOL....I said the other day that Palmer was just a big lump in the nest! Unless he picks up his head, sometimes he looks like a ball!!
Wow is it still really Thursday? NO! It's Friday...TGIF- Please remember your RED somethings to wear for the Military today
Yay Judie.... peace at last!
both Lynn and I have talked with Norma in the last couple of weeks...she is well, and fine...and busy too... a few weeks ago her daughter did some clean-up on her computer now she is trying to find her way back to the websites and cams and US.
Good Friday afternoon! Almost ready to give up on this dial up. If we were here at the beach house more often and for longer lengths of time I would have DSL. I really have not seen our Palmer but so happy for all your reports.
Time to start dusting and cleaning.. this year the spiders and bugs took over. They are all dead spiders and bugs thank goodness.
Congratulations Judie on your year of accomplishments - I am sure you are glad to get to the end of it.
I'll stop back in this evening Take care........ ((hugs))
♫♫♫ Ding Dong, School is Gone, School is Gone, School is Gone. Ding Dong, the wicked school is gone. ☺
Thanks Wanda, Lynn, and Margy for letting me know about Norma. Just feared I had missed something serious. Hope she gets the puter up-to-speed.
Mits, thanks for the PA falcon update. Just wish there had been a better outcome.
Hi Dana.
Oh Lowreeda, that is so wonderful that your daughter will be able to hear Dr. Watson. What he and Krook accomplished has changed medicine and particularly the way we treat individuals with some mental challenges.
Ah, the b____ group. Would love for them to go out on the damp sand and make an eagle sculpture -- then post a picture.
eeeeyew! Jo, at least the spiders/bugs can't hide and wait until dark when you're asleep.
Hi all! Just checked on Palmer. He was blending in with the nest and shadows. Had to enlarge it to make sure he was in the nest!
MARGY.....your face plant into the keyboard was too funny! Received some special mail today from you. THANK YOU! You are just so very special. ♥ you!!!
My morning with Jacob was really neat. Got some very special hugs. I mean...really tight squeezies....really special!!! I left all his "Mommy" gifts for Laurelk to pick up this afternoon. Went to put them in his back pack, when he pulls something out of his back pack for me. He had written me a special love note at home. I almost cried!
Having a beautiful day here, so I am going to head out. Banquet at TCU tonight.
Have a great day!
Thanks for all the nice comments on the picture on fb of Jacob and me. Took it to send to Laurel at school.
I've been up for a while, started to sign on several times, but got drawn off on tangents. <:~D> ... one of the things was trying to figure out what the outcome of the British election would be ... still don't know.
It's going to be a beautiful, sunny Spring day here in So Cal.
69° now and sunny, rising to the high 70's this afternoon.
Hi, Jim. Still questions as to whether Gordon Brown will resign...MTBR!
Getting some cleaning done here. Jo, if I were you, I'd set off bog bombs and then go to beach for a few hours!!! That way you are SURE there aren't live critters!
I loved working Baltimore Veterans Hospital and working with the NURSES there. Maybe late but Happy Nurses Day ! They were great there at Baltimore VA. I was a ward clerk for Surgical floor, SICU, CCU, and on other floors ICU. I worked even on my days off. I loved that job.
Have nearly choked on dust today. Been cleaning bookshelves and rearranging in my home office. Needed to clean out outdated textbooks, etc. Go through this end of each semester. Weather is terrific though so can have windows open with cool breeze.
Okay, off to the kitchen. Tilapia, corn on the cob, and salad.
Watching Palmer is fun. I think dinner is over and there was a wing stretch.
Thank you Paula for Noah flight video. She did not waste time.
The Sidney chick looks to be as big as Palmer. She is right in front of the camera and looking scruffy with feathers trying to work themselves outward.
It is sad that there were no hatches on the OR nest. It has been 41 days for the 2nd egg laid. It's the facts and surely they will have a much better year next year.
The eagles are still incubating. Wouldn't it be nice for a surprise hatch???!!!!!!!!!
The three rascals at RTH are sleeping very well. One has a foot propped up. Maybe it just looks that way because I haven't seen a wiggle. Ah Ah there it wiggles!!!!!!!!
had to attend to some personal business today, AND THEN my car inexplicably drove straight out to Swinging Bridge ! Saw a scarlet tanager on the way (an orange variant, very brilliant) and saw Mom Red-Shouldered Hawk and THREE bobbleheads in their nest
Oh my I put it on full screen for awhile and just sat back and enjoyed. Palmer did some wing stretches and pecked at Belle once or twice. I think Palmer wants FOOD. The nest is so so beautiful this time of year and I so loved the full screen if I haven't already told you all lol
Palmer is sitting pretty, all alone.....and I can see that Boris is starting his junk (that is NOT the word I would like to use!), so cam is going off for this day.
Belle is stretching those pretty white tail feathers. I love it looks like a beautiful white fan spred out. Palmer is begging for food. Belle found some leftover in nest and giving some to Palmer. Now there is a HAPPY CAMPER !!
Nite all I going to put my feet up and enjoy some tv. Been a long busy day.
Prayers for those that need them. Safe journeys for those traveling and for those B-goers.
Had another purpose in going to the Creek today. I've been watching one lone Jack-in-the-Pulpit. It has passed its prime, nearly done. I had "dedicated" this plant a few weeks ago to a dear friend of a dear friend of mine with a brain tumor, who had surgery scheduled today in Buffalo. I've been checking it as often as I can.
Well, Glory Be, I found two new fresh Jacks today, one for her, and one for him. I like it when God shows me these things. xo
CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- After hanging out in the hack tower for most of the day Friday, Noah took her first flight.
The 2-month-old bald eagle left the hack tower at about 1:47 p.m. and as of 3:15 p.m. she hadn't returned.
For most of the morning Friday Noah sat on the perch outside the hack tower spreading her wings. She went inside the tower in the afternoon and took flight a short time later.
The hack tower doors were opened at sunrise Thursday.
Noah’s tracking device will allow Carolina Raptor Center researchers to study her flight patterns over the next five years.
Noah was removed from the hack tower April 17 for the tracking device procedure that took approximately 30 minutes to complete.
The eagle weighed approximately nine and a quarter pounds – compared to a March 27 weight of eight pounds.
Noah could come and go for several days, as she knows the tower is a safe place for food.
Went to bed early so I wouldn't do a face plant on my laptop....bad headache...been stressed...guess I should eat more DESSERTS...
Judie - they let Ajay take the math class over for free.
BEagle - thanks for all the reports...I was wondering how overdue Oregon nest was...not sure we will see a miracle egg there this year...just too much snow.
Glad you got to see Palmer get some lift.
Heading down very early to Mom's tomorrow...have to get some stuff done on the inspection list, then John coming down with truck to finish cleaning out the tools and some other stuff.
Margy - sounds like a nice afternoon! Wildlife NOT on a cam!
BEagle are you still here? Could you go my profile page for my email address and email me your snail mail address? Would appreciate it much Thanks didn't find any ticks, maybe if there were any they all went down the bathtub drain
Headed for the pillows, possible I could get snagged for a workshift Saturday Hope everyone is well, prayers offered for so many needs, and for gifts given
Margy, sounds like BEagle has some good info that you could use for your puter if you aren't ready for a new one......a video card may be your best route at this point!!
OMG....snow for western MD and NW WV tomorrow night....no accumulation expected! I sure hope Lynne doesn't panic if they go to her MIL's!!! Bath time for me. See all of my favorite, fowl friends tomorrow! Prayers for all.
Good evening! Wow! Noah fledged today. Way to go Noah! May you have a long life flying free!
Dinner at TCU was fun this evening. Tomorrow is another long day, but so excited as all the kids will be here as well as Dan and Sharon. Mother's Day will just be very quiet, just Jack and myself recovering!
We had a really nice Family dinner this evening. Missed my Dustin...hanging out with his dad this weekend. GG was much improved today. When I went there this morning, she had already eaten her breakfast and taken her meds. Her speech and walk was surprizingly better:) Doctor said she is not showing any signs of a stroke, at this time, but could have been another Mini Stroke.
Hi, Everyone! Boy, don't know quite what got into me today, but sure got some housecleaning done! Think it was Judie who was talking about dust. I had so much dust we could've had a potato crop! Decided to dust, instead. Part of the Santa Ana River bed was dry a few weeks ago (the Army Corps of Engineers are responsible), and then some winds came. The dust from the riverbed is the finest silt imaginable! It can seep in even when the windows are closed! Yuk! Much better now.
Wasn't able to get any bird pictures today. Will keep trying, though. Our ficus trees are so thick with leaves that you can't see any of the heron nests, even when you stand right under the tree and look up through it. (Ask me if that's a dangerous thing to do!--poop shoots AND dead mackerel! Did find some empty heron eggshells under the front yard trees, though. The saga continues!
Margy, hope you don't have to work on Saturday! Glad you had a nice outing; gotta have fun when you have a chance! No unusual birds here today, but lotsa baby finches and sparrows. CUTE!!!
Well, going to go watch the History Channel for a bit. Need to unwind for a good night's sleep. Prayers being said for all. Glad to hear that GG is doing so well! BTW, good idea--let's send snail mail to Chrissy and see if she gets it. Hope she can feel the(((HUGS)))!
Leaving the night light on so nobody trips in the dark. The porch light's automatic. Eye scanner security is ready to go.
Sleep well, everyone, and I'll talk to you tomorrow. Good night, and God bless!! Love all of you! :o]

Looks like Palmer is sleeping. Maybe I should take a nap.

Poop shoot and a scraqtch and some preening...standing right under the cam...nice looks at Palmer's face
Some stretching and flapping and hopping
Adult just zipped in, looks like Lib
Go Noah Go
Gave palmer a couple of nestover pieces from the nest, then up into the tree
Palme is plotzed in the nest, facing 4

Hi, Lynn,
Duh!--Didn't realize it was Nurses' Day today!
GOOD NIGHT MY FRIEND
SLEEP WELL
PRAYERS FOR ALL
Getting on to say good night.
Nite all! Sweet dreams!
Just a thought! Surely they forward mail in England. Maybe we could shower Chrissy with snail mail to the address that we all have. Bet she would like that! We could all find funny cards. That would even be better. Chrissy loves a good laugh!

Have a good nighT,

GOOD MORNING...
The sun is trying to peek through here at Nestville. It is 46°, going up to a beautiful 77°. The next few days are going to be cool, in the 60s til Wednesday.
Don't like 60s, too cool, although that is good mowing weather:)
I looked in on Palmer, just in time for a poop shoot. He really does back way up to the edge of the nest:)

Palmer is looking great this morning! Standing tall and moving around the nest...
Good Morning everyone
time for sleep here
Hope it is a Great day and the start of a Great Week-end
xo ♥
Good morning!
Okay, think I will do some busy work for awhile.
Judie, I think that Norma is having problems with an aging computer, as I understand it.
One of our Momsters Angels, maybe Margy, called her and she is well and misses being on here with us.
When one of us wins the LOTTERY, we will buy Norma a new computer and help out Chrissy;)
Have a great day, going in to GGs.
good FRIDAY morning everyone....latest from PA Falcon cam.......
5/7/2010 :: Status of Eggs
One of the two remaining eggs was broken sometime overnight. There is one unhatched egg remaining. Since there was yolk in the broken egg, it most likely was infertile, or at least, any embryo had little development. If the other egg is not viable, it will begin to decay, and will be vulnerable to breaking under the process of decomposition.
Good Morning Eagle Friends.
Thk you, Judie for good wishes on our daughter's visit.
NO! It's Friday...TGIF-
Please remember your RED somethings to wear for the Military today
Yay Judie.... peace at last!
both Lynn and I have talked with Norma in the last couple of weeks...she is well, and fine...and busy too... a few weeks ago her daughter did some clean-up on her computer now she is trying to find her way back to the websites and cams and US.
Hope everyone is doing well today
Lynn
We're kind of like twins ☺
Nice going, Dana...
color sure is nice
sound too...
Helen
thanks for the PA Falcon report
you keep us going with all the news ☺
Hope all the Beach Bunnies have a wonderful sun and fun-filled week-end
please squish your toes in the sand for me ☺
Loretta... sure happy to hear your daughter is making a visit, sounds like it will be great !
I look forward to going to a retirees' breakfast some day...
guess I have to be able to retire first
Palmer has really thrived this week!
time to scram
take care, all
xo ♥ ☺
Oh
PS
Happy Mother's Day a couple of days early to all my Precious Pals...
know we will be holding all things Mother dear to our hearts ♥
Good Friday afternoon!
Almost ready to give up on this dial up. If we were here at the beach house more often and for longer lengths of time I would have DSL.
I really have not seen our Palmer but so happy for all your reports.
Time to start dusting and cleaning.. this year the spiders and bugs took over. They are all dead spiders and bugs thank goodness.
Congratulations Judie on your year of accomplishments - I am sure you are glad to get to the end of it.
I'll stop back in this evening
Take care........ ((hugs))
HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO ALL !!
Okay, back to laundry and other assorted tasks.

... one of the things was trying to figure out what the outcome of the British election would be ... still don't know.

Judie fun fun fun and rest rest rest and more fun (:
I loved working Baltimore Veterans Hospital and working with the NURSES there. Maybe late but Happy Nurses Day ! They were great there at Baltimore VA. I was a ward clerk for Surgical floor, SICU, CCU, and on other floors ICU.
I worked even on my days off. I loved that job.
Thanks, Dana!!!
Another quiet afternoon on here! Spring weather and spring cleaning keeping us all occupied!!
Palmer is preening a bit....what a big eaglet!!
Hi Jim and Hi Dana and all others.
BBL
Speaking of end-of-semester, Paula wonder if your DIL was able to work out something with her college. Sure hope so.
Judie, on my way for dinner!!
Fresh fish delivery by pops and mom is feeding hungry Palmer, who tried to bite her face!
Wind is blowing quite hard there. Not so much here....yet. Predicted 30 mph for tomorrow.
I just noted a fact of interest, so...

Hi Everyone,
Watching Palmer is fun. I think dinner is over and there was a wing stretch.
Thank you Paula for Noah flight video.
She did not waste time.
The Sidney chick looks to be as big as Palmer. She is right in front of the camera and looking scruffy with feathers trying to work themselves outward.
The Hornby is not sharing Phoenix at the moment.
The TH nest has two resting eaglets.
The PH nest, both eaglets are trotting around on the nest. One twin backed up for a poop shoot.
The Sidney chick smacks her beak after every bite that she grabs out of the adults beak. Cute.
Palmer is looking very fashionable with the big foot sticking out for all cam watchers to see.
Added 2 pics to Momster album!
Thanks, Jim!!!
Hi to you and BEagle.
Dinner almost ready. See y'all later!
It is sad that there were no hatches on the OR nest. It has been 41 days for the 2nd egg laid. It's the facts and surely they will have a much better year next year.
The eagles are still incubating. Wouldn't it be nice for a surprise hatch???!!!!!!!!!
Howdy Hedgie.
Belle looks so pretty standing there watching Palmer. She looks like she just got back from grooming.
Nice look at the Hamptons. Adult eagle perched on a limb near the nest with three lovely banded eaglets standing at attention. (Probably for food)
The three rascals at RTH are sleeping very well. One has a foot propped up. Maybe it just looks that way because I haven't seen a wiggle. Ah Ah there it wiggles!!!!!!!!
Phoenix is getting some lunch now.
Belle spent some time nestorating while Palmer looked on.
Now Palmer is kaputzed at the favored 12 spot.
That was a nice wing and shoulder stretch by Palmer.
Who is walking over to Belle. It looks as though she wants to show Palmer something.
Like how to dig deep in the nest and pull us fluff.
Oh Oh Palmer backs up to do a poop shoot. Man that tail was hanging over the nest it looked like. Whew.
Palmer seems to come "alive" when an adult is on the nest.
Walks back over to Belle to chec
OhHHHH. What a wing and FLOTATION!!!!!
Half way off the nest.
Did I just see Palmer float from Belle to 12 o'clock or am I just seeing things.
A lot of wing action going on right now.
TOO COOL!
More wing action. Is there any chance Palmer will go earlier than Hidey did?
The blog doubled my post. It's a bloga bloga.
Palmer is resting now, facing the left but got up using a little wing for help.
To go back and see my boo boo. Palmer didn't go half way OFF the nest, but halfway across.
The loon was on the nest and now there's no loon. Just an egg.
I think Palmer is resting now, after all that winging.
The rascals at RTH are looking around now. The oldest was exercising it's wings.
Hi BEagle
been watching the nest too
about the time Palmer was hip-hopping sounded like a Military C5 flying over
had to attend to some personal business today, AND THEN my car inexplicably drove straight out to Swinging Bridge !
Saw a scarlet tanager on the way (an orange variant, very brilliant)
and saw Mom Red-Shouldered Hawk and THREE bobbleheads in their nest
Noisy Magpie?
So Palmer was using feet along with the wings on that move from Belle to 12 o'clock?
tanager was in the very same neighborhood that I first saw this orange and black beauty 5 years ago
I hate to tell you BE but my live feed stops and starts and I missed some of the halfway across the nest action :(
saw the wing flapping though
Your auto must have a Swinging Bridge homing device in it.
The birds sound beautiful.
I found half a blue egg in my yard this morning. Haven't looked to see where it came from yet.
The TH twins are strutting on their nest.
Also saw about 20 male goldfinches perched atop a barely leafy tree, it was brilliant!
Nope no pictures of the little birds but I got a few of the Hawks in the nest, will post later on
That's the first time I ever saw Palmer move by using the wings.
got to take care of some business HERE now,
back later on
Good Evening Wishes, Everyone
xo
Lynn !!
Your two pictures on the Momsters Album, are fantastic !!!
Especially Love You Mom, that is a Prizewinner !
BRAVO !
I'm going to put a few up but they do not compare to yours !
My TH cam and the WE cams and our OC cam will pause on me too, at times. Not tonight though every cam I have up is running smoothly.
I am checking into a video card. My video component now is in the mother board so the cams use the space on my computer.
A good video card has its own memory so it should increase the computer's capacity to run the cams better.
Palmer and Belle are still in the same position. Palmer a little before 12 and Belle behind. Occasionally Belle will look at Palmer. Touching.
Loon is on her nest. How do they feed their chick with that very long beak.
TH twins are getting wushi tonight. It just got dragged over to the dining area.
Palmer is up again and moving a little.
A shoulder lift by Palmer and it looks like a PS
Palmer is very good at that. I really like the Poop shoot in the wind video.
What a riot.
Parent in nest with Palmer.
I think it is Belle doing housekeeping. Cleaning out homestead.
Belle did some re-arranging of the greenery and Palmer got up again and moseyed over to Belle.
Oh my I put it on full screen for awhile and just sat back and enjoyed. Palmer did some wing stretches and pecked at Belle once or twice. I think Palmer wants FOOD. The nest is so so beautiful this time of year and I so loved the full screen if I haven't already told you all lol
Hey, Margy, glad you got some R&R at the bridge!! Glad you liked my pics.
BEagle....the loon feeds from a distance....ha, ha!! Teasing you!
Palmer is sitting pretty, all alone.....and I can see that Boris is starting his junk (that is NOT the word I would like to use!), so cam is going off for this day.
Belle is busy again and Palmer must be hopeful of food.
And Spideys web begins to show like the print from invisible ink.
I think the two are working on leftovers.
I'd say the distance with great with that snozzola.
Palmer and Belle are mighty busy with those leftovers.
Happy Palmer loves bedtime snacks!
The nest is all a'twinkle.
Forgot to say: I saw one of the little hawklets at Swinging Bridge, do a POOP SHOOT!
Hilarious it was !
Both adults on the nest. Isn't that odd this time in the evening?
What are they doing? Still working on leftover?
Something fresh just brought in?
The cam just got a wing swat.
both adults up close and glowing
did someone already post it?
well I see only one now I think hard to tell
Check the chicks at West End watching the sun sink lower in the west....

I like it when God shows me these things.
xo
Might take a look at the other two island nestcams too.

I think Belle had pretty much polished off the nestovers and had settled down with Palmer when Lib flew in with the late catch.
So now Belle and happy Palmer are having another late snack!
Evening, all.
Noah update!
Eagle Cam | Noah takes flight
by NewsChannel 36 Staff
NewsChannel 36
Posted on May 7, 2010 at 3:29 PM
That is so tremendous Magpie. Goosebumps.
Great report, Paula...
thanks!
wow, that's a big eaglet
Fly Free and Clear, Noah!
Pretty sunset on WE nest.
That is really great news about Noah.
I have to pause trying to remember what the name Noah means.
Off she goes. We will see her when she comes back.
Good news tonight!!
The cam won't come up for the TH nest. I may miss that sunset this eve.
Were you able to bring up the TH cam?
Speaking of face plants...
Lowreeda - hope ya'll have fun at the aquarium.
Jo, glad the bugs are dead!
Lynn - best wishes to Christie on her job test.
Noah means peace :)
I got the WE cam up...yes, sun sure is pretty there, haven't had it up in weeks.
Loon is on her nest. There's also a smudge on the camera lens.
What could be worse than a smudge on the lens?
Oh Paula, hope the headache is gone or will be soon, and that all the work on Saturday leads to a play day on Sunday !
BEagle
I cannot get TH just an endless circle - can get Pelican Harbor and West End
never did tick check after the afternoon in the woods, guess I better take care of that now
ttfn xo
The people on the TH chat line lost their picture.
Those sunsets are always pleasant.
Hope you are tick-free Magpie.
I got the WE and PH cams up but no TH.
BEagle, if you go to www.iws.org, you can go right to the cams...no chat.
Stopping by to say Hope everyone has a Happy Mother's Day and
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO LYNN AND DANA
Have both the cams on bookmark. The new one with...and the old one without.
Snow in Lily and Hope territory. Boo!
Great updates from Catalina, Jim!!
Hi There Ceil
Happy Mother's Day Wishes to you too, hope there is a lot of sun and fun this week-end

Could you go my profile page for my email address and email me your snail mail address?
Would appreciate it much
Thanks
didn't find any ticks, maybe if there were any they all went down the bathtub drain

Good report, Paula. Thanks---it's Carolyn who goes for the testing!
Thank you, Ceil!! And Happy Mothers' Day to you, too! Have fun at the beach.....don't forget your sunscreen!!
Paula, hope you get everything accomplished so that you can proceed to closing soon!
So glad Ajay got that class straightened out.
Her speech and walk was surprizingly better:)
Doctor said she is not showing any signs of a stroke, at this time, but could have been another Mini Stroke.
GOOD NIGHT MY FRIENDS
SLEEP WELL
PRAYERS FOR ALL
LOLLY, THIS IS FOR YOU!:)
Texas
The Sheriff pulled up next to the guy unloading garbage out of his pick-up into the ditch.
The Sheriff asked, "Why are you dumping garbage in the ditch? Don't you see that sign right over your head."
"Yep", he replied. "That's why I dumpin it here, cause it says: 'Fine For Dumping Garbage'."
LOL That sounds about right for many of the idiots that dump trash!
Just opened our cam. Spidey has really created a work of art! Geeesch!!!
Good report on GG, Wanda. You know you have all of our love and support when it comes to GG. Think she is our adopted Eagle
Momma!
Margy, I keep reading over and over the newspaper article. Thank you again for sending it.
Time to head to the shower. Nite all! Sweet dreams!
:o]
SNOW??????? LOL! oh you just gotta love the weather! Lynn, we are heading to TA this weekend. At least we one beautiful day LAST weekend!
Up with back pain again UGH. Been trying to catch up a little. Glad to hear that GG is doing well!
Margy, that's pretty cool about the Jack in the Pulpits!! Prayers for you friend...hope all went well with the surgery today.
Saw lightning bugs again tonight!
Saw 2 Baltimore Orioles, males, dive bombing each other in the air all the way across the yard, too!
Happy Mother's Day to all!
good morning everyone.

it is SATURDAY, MAY 8th, 2010.....
