What is going on at BW. Is the camera stuck? Belle is moving more the BW is. I watched several refreshes and saw very little movement. It almost looked like the camera moved not the bird.
Jill that is very possible with the BW cam. Yesterday it had some moments when the pic froze. The timer is correctly moving. Would need to stare at it a while - need to stare at Belle and send her brain waves to M O V E........
She actually did move slightly. I closed the screen and reopened. It came back up 1/2 hour behind when it refreshed with the right time she had moved. Not much but enough you could tell she had moved. But she hasn't moved since that I can tell. And Belle hasn't moved much either. She can't let her beak get covered up or she can't breath. Unfortunately, I think if it comes to her or the chick she will save herself to be there for the others when they hatch. Hope it doesn't come to that But right now in Martinsburg it is snowing exremely hard. Although it sounds like the cars are driving thru slush. Can't see from here.
JO---We started getting snow before NCTC did----Went out to check our snow---picked up what I thought would be on BELLE---It didn't appear heavy---It's still a bit fluffy--but has melting water----Unless it's a HEAVY freeze---She will be fine---Did you notice in pic---no snow on trees--Here snow is stuck to the trees---DON'T WORRY!!!----Remember our BELLE has SPUNK!!!!!
There really should have been a bare spot under her... She was there before it started to sleet/snow. She was in such a hurry - hard to see much of anything.
Veronica - welcome We can't always be certain that we are IDing them correctly but there is one way... Female eagles are larger then the male eagles. Therefore if we see them together there is no question about who is who. When they are nesting (incubating over the eggs) Belle covers much more of the nest then Liberty does.
Veronica - I think 3 eggs two years in a row is the exception, not the rule. Interesting that VA also had 3 eggs this year and last year also. They say they will only lay however many they can feed. So it must mean that food is plentiful.
Jill just sent you an email but since so many are newbys I will remind all that BW pics are sent to Lisa for her gallery.. Just go to her site and click on Submit Photos.Be sure to give your name as you want it to appear under the photo.
Our Momters photo albums are for the WV eagles set up in weekly albums.
I have an invention. Make a remote control umbrella that we could install on the tree and open when storms hit and protect them. Then, we could just close it back.
Out of here for a little while. Keep an eagle-eye out!
Hi all, Can you provide links or address to websites for other nests? I'd be interested to see them. Here is a pretty cool barn owl nest. http://www.theowlcam.com/ Thanks, Melissa
That is one awesome owl site, Melissa. Thanks. Alot of the links are on the Eaglet Momster site, but a great site is Beakspeake.com...click on Birdcams at the top of the page:).
Thanks Mits, I'm going to check them out now, might not be a good idea, I've already got three windows open and have done nothing all day! Thanks again, Melissa
Yepper that was right. By the time Melissa goes through them all she will have a lot more open then 3! Do you notice that her user name is really Melissa spelled in reverse.. Cool idea! I was just trying to pronounce it and couldn't...
FALCON JRB VA She is really beautiful.
Our eagle looks like tails up and heads down......
I just wanted to make a quick cup of coffee. I am hunting for something to make - like a cake or corn bread or something with bisquick. Anyone know something good with bisquick? Like a cake type ...
Timewise - it should be time for a final switch for the night very soon. I hope we are watching and can see the eggs and chicks. What if we only see 1 egg.... That means when the sun shines tomorrow - we will see chicks and an egg.
Got some pics - I'll put them over shortly - He just might come back with some of that frozen fish!!!! Dana - he probably forgot where he left it on the nest. lol
This is about the 1st day that I have not been watching other nests - I checked them all very very quickly about twice today...but I did not want to leave our nest. I think that is how it will be once we get these chicks.
Oh I know I want to see the chicks replaced in the 2 nests by Dr Peter. That is truly the most interesting thing I have seen so far this season.
I haven't received any pics yet, Dana and Mits. Could you try sending it again. I still have the comcast address too (for another day or 2) so try sending it to that one.
I think we will know more tomorrow, too. I looked at Dana's pic too..very similar to mine. Actually, I see 2 chicks and one egg, but that is just my opinion. The 2 things in the front look the same while the one in the back looks different. The cam is just not clear enough, even if you enlarge the pictures....
Well we have almost 8 inches here in Martinsburg of snow... Just came back from Wal Mart and my son wanted to go over n clean out the snow for us in the nest... And he would have if i said LETS GO...It had gotten very cold and everything is freezing ...
Sharon's idea of the umbrella or even a canopy that would open and close upon command is worth giving some consideration. Sure would help my nerves alot on days like this.
Hi Nilla What are you doing running out to WalMart on a night like tonight? Isn't our Belle a Super Eagle?!!!
Got the pic but I can't tell much except 3 white blobs that look too big for the eggs. I tried to zoom in but still couldn't make anything out. And it is still snowing here, don't know about Shepherdstown but it isn't giving up here.
Panda Update: ButaButa figured out how to climb onto and into the automatic water bowl in one of the dayrooms. The keepers put a hay bale by the water bowl in one of the dayrooms to help her get a drink. She was able to use the door ledge to boost herself onto the water bowl in the other dayroom today. She seemed more interested in playing in the water then getting a drink. TAI: can't find his sleeping place. Both cams up but no Tai.
Jo, I didn't say 3 turtle shells because there were 3 chicks, 2 clumps of snow and a partridge in a pear tree. I added 4 clumps of grass and five frozen fish sticks.
How's about "An Eagle in a Sycamore Tree" instead of a partridge in a pear tree.

SO EXCITED..........
She's up. Got a picture of it. Now what do I do with it.
Wow, that was cool!
WE HAVE A SUPER EAGLE
Right back down on that baby and eggs
Did you all see that? She just popped straight up and got that snow off her.
Jill you can post it on the Momster site or email to jo or I to put on there.
I zoomed in as much as I could. Can't really see anything. No eggs, no eaglet. Looks like gobs of snow in the nest.
Oh My I was really getting worried!
JILL - Attach to email to me & I'll put it in the Momster album with your name........
jo_lennox@hotmail.com
SEE JO----OUR BELLE HAS SPUNK!!!!
OMG, she is so trying to get that snow away from the eggs and chick
SUPER EAGLE:):):)!
She sure does Norma
We do know how to pick 'em!
I guess you might call that the "snow eagle" move.
Well, it is snowing in Bluefield now. Don't think it will amount to very much because the ground is too warm.
SUPER EAGLE is right Mema Jo. That was a spectacular move on Belle's part.
Photo added.
Mits and Jo, I sent you 2 a couple of shots I saved. Let me know if you got them.
There really should have been a bare spot under her... She was there before it started to sleet/snow. She was in such a hurry - hard to see much of anything.
GIVE THAT GIRL A FISH !
GOT THEM, THANKS, will send some of these to Loraine at KENT. BELLE'S 12 hour shift should be up soon, don't ya think????
2 great action pics captured by Sharon of Belle's break out. Give me a few to get them into Momsters...
Jill - After looking at your pic and Sharon's I see what you mean about the snow under her.
I hope that is all the excitment for this afternoon. Unless of course seeing the chick(s) could be arranged.
BW OSPREY has 2
Quick egg check and back down.....
There was a lot of snow down there, I hope she got it all out.
Veronica, Belle is much larger than Liberty. It is easier to tell them apart when they are together.
Looks like Star at Kent.
Veronica - welcome
We can't always be certain that we are IDing them correctly but there is one way... Female eagles are larger
then the male eagles. Therefore if we see them together there is no question about who is who. When they are nesting (incubating over the eggs) Belle covers much more of the nest then Liberty does.
I really need the rest of this day to be uneventful! My heart can't take anymore.
Chicks are up at BW. Posting Pic now.
Hi everyone ( : most names I name. A few I don't so hello to you all.
Belle has been through this before. She will keep that chick warm. She has shown us "although we worry for her, eggs and chick) that she prevails.
The litte climber Buta Buta is at the top of the logs like usual. She just loves it up there.
Falcon on edge of the frame for the box at Harrisburg.
The pic at Shenandoah quad cam are beautiful with snow on the cliffs. No other falcon egg. :( sad about their egg.
Anyone see anything, she was just up and I missed it
Paula she didn't raise up that high to see anything.
Wow, Belle just looked like she was standing on her head!
Nothing was visible down under.
AAARRGGGHH, T hought we were going to get a clear view, then.
She is doing her job, isn't she. Keeping everything warm :)
We will see when we will see!
Must not be snowing as much in Shepherdstown as it is in Martinsburg. It is nasty here. But eagle on the nest isn't getting covered as much.
Steady sleet coming down here in Bethesda now.
The dead fish at BW in the nest looks in better shape then the soaked
eagle. Hope this weather soon gets
out of here...........
Still steadily snowing here in Middletown valley. For awhile it looked as though it could stop - but then it just starts up again.
Dinner time in this home soon.
BBL
Barton's Cove is begining to look like Shepherdstown's nest.
VA & BW eagles look the same!
No one at Kent.......
NOW - BBL
I have an invention. Make a remote control umbrella that we could install on the tree and open when storms hit and protect them. Then, we could just close it back.
Out of here for a little while. Keep an eagle-eye out!
Later Sharon:).

birdcams/ didn't fit all the way sorry:(.
Hope I did that right, if not someone will correct me:):):).
Thanks Mits, I'm going to check them out now, might not be a good idea, I've already got three windows open and have done nothing all day!
Thanks again,

lol....it can be quite an addiction, Melissa:).
Eagle at KENT nest.
Both eagles at Norfolk nest.
FINALLY
Then mine would be stim:):) I like it:).
Star in the nest
Spirit on the limb
There is an eagle in the Sidney nest but when I was there this afternoon on the close up cam..I really didn't see an egg.
Looks like our eagle is digging a tunnel.
There Star goes again, sitting in the nest like something is going to happen.
I don't think we will see any eggs in that nest, Jo, dog barking in background, also sounds lik a leaf-blower too.
6 inches of snow has fallen between Martinsburg and Shepherdstown. Channel 7 news just said.
I need to leave for a short period of time. BBL
That's a fair amount of snow, Dana.......TTUL, Jo.
Maybe we will get a new thread when Steven, comes home.
I just wanted to make a quick cup of coffee. I am hunting for something to make - like a cake or corn bread or something with bisquick. Anyone know something good with bisquick? Like a cake type ...
I hope our eagle shakes off the snow before it becomes too much....
I think they have a really good coffee cake receipe on the box, Jo:).
Timewise - it should be time for a final switch for the night very soon.
I hope we are watching and can see
the eggs and chicks. What if we only see 1 egg.... That means when the sun shines tomorrow - we will see chicks and an egg.
We have about 8 inches in Emmitsburg. I am a little further north.
Roads weren't as bad as I thought they would be - they do a good job on Frederick County roads.
All I can say is spring starts on Wednesday, and WE WILL NOT BE SEEING ANY MORE SNOW!!
I see some head movement from our eagle.
Smaller flakes are falling now...
Look to the left....
Glad you got home safely, Paula.
That's a promise right, Paula!.....Yes, Jo, I finally see some head movement.
Got snow on its beak....
If Steve wants to bet home anytime soon he better be strapping on those snowshoes......or skis.
Wow.. Belle's back at it again??
That is a mom for ya. At least it looks like Lib cleared out some of the snow to make her more comfy.
How's your SON, Paula????
OR When Belle left did Lib fit right
into Belle's spot with a little room to spare? ? ?
I don't know who is there now, Jennifer. But for sure when the next fly in occurs we will know for sure.
Should be a switch fairly soon.
HERE WE GO
BOTH AT NEST
2 our nest
Looks like Lib on the edge --
That means it is Belle nesting
Lib doesn't want to get his talons in the snow...
Get up Belle - you going to miss your chance
Maybe she doesnt' want to move
She ain't budging, LOL
She ain't budging, LOL
She moves her head and he takes off.
Well you can see Liberty flew into the nest. Hope he helps Belle out.
Well you can see Liberty flew into the nest. Hope he helps Belle out.
She won, he left!
Dang it all - No Switch
She probably told him to go get dinner.
Unless she turns those puppies soon, we won't see anything til tomorrow.
Dana & Paula you two were stuttering
Got some pics - I'll put them over
shortly - He just might come back
with some of that frozen fish!!!!
Dana - he probably forgot where he left it on the nest. lol
He didn't stay long.
Jennifer - did you catch all of that?
He went to get one of those car brushes.
I know, Jo. We were all trying to post at same time...I know I hit the button twice!
I just checked and even though we are on 602 - there is not a new thread...
I guess we're good for about 400 more comments!
As Far as I know, that has been Belle in the nest since yesterday at 3...unless there were 2 switches this morning that I missed.
Those eagles at VA were thoroughly soaked.
I got one good pic...gonna go see
This is about the 1st day that I have not been watching other nests - I checked them all very very quickly about twice today...but I did not
want to leave our nest. I think that
is how it will be once we get these
chicks.
Oh I know I want to see the chicks replaced in the 2 nests by Dr Peter.
That is truly the most interesting thing I have seen so far this season.
I took several shots when she got up going to look now.
After say all that - I could slap myself --- What just happened in our nest that our eagle looks snow free?
I am sure that you Dana or Paula have a good pic...........
Looks like I've been saying I've seen 2 eggs and a chick.
Paula I magnified your picture...
Where do you think the chick is?
Then I'll tell you what I think I see.
I am back. No switch? She is diligent about her babies, huh?
I think I see 3 eggs, sent you pics, Jo and Sharon, and my sis, but she is out just now.
Well, my filet-o-fish is here:):):! BBIALW!
Jo, Mits, Paula, Jim, Nilla, Vicky, Jill, shoot forgot who else Sharon etc check your mail
Got it Dana. Also looking at Paula's on Momster.
ok. There is a clump of snow
An egg
Another egg
A chick............. I think
We will know more tomorrow when the
snow melts!
I haven't received any pics yet, Dana and Mits. Could you try sending it again. I still have the comcast address too (for another day or 2) so try sending it to that one.
shurnlea@comcast.net
Mine look just like Dana's, Sharon
I think we will know more tomorrow, too. I looked at Dana's pic too..very similar to mine. Actually, I see 2 chicks and one egg, but that is just my opinion. The 2 things in the front look the same while the one in the back looks different. The cam is just not clear enough, even if you enlarge the pictures....
LISA HAS AN UPDATE ON THE BW EAGLE SITE
Now I am sure I just saw one egg....but It was just a peek, so I can't say there is only one egg.
By the time the sun shines and the snow melts there will probably be
3 chicks and 2 clumps of snow!!!
This is really fun!!
Well, the good news is the snow seems to have slowed down...
Well we have almost 8 inches here in Martinsburg of snow... Just came back from Wal Mart and my son wanted to go over n clean out the snow for us in the nest... And he would have if i said LETS GO...It had gotten very cold and everything is freezing ...
And a partridge in a pear tree....
Lisa thinks like a Momster - She knows what we worry about!
Don't know where the fish that was in the BW nest went - probably eaten - or it could be covered by the eagle's wing.
Belle is tenting - It just won't stop precipitating!
Give me a sec, Sharon, I'm retrieving the pics fro OE:).
Four clumps of grass....five frozen fish! Sing it people!
Sharon's idea of the umbrella or even a canopy that would open and close upon command is worth giving some consideration. Sure would help my nerves alot on days like this.
Hi Nilla What are you doing running out to WalMart on a night like tonight? Isn't our Belle a
Super Eagle?!!!
AND AN EAGLET OR TWO IN OUR NEST !
You forgot the 3 turtle shells
Paula
Belle didn't get all the way up but it looked as though she was turning the egg(s)
SHARON You have mail on Comcast:).
Its like a heavenly glow around the nest tonight.
Checked out pics on Momsters. Did not need to add any of mine - Dana & Paula have it covered..
Got the pic but I can't tell much except 3 white blobs that look too big for the eggs. I tried to zoom in but still couldn't make anything out. And it is still snowing here, don't know about Shepherdstown but it isn't giving up here.
Got them, Mits. Thank you very much. Got to find out what is happening with frontiernet email.
Panda Update:
ButaButa figured out how to climb onto and into the automatic water bowl in one of the dayrooms.
Your not getting anything on frontier.net, Sharon??
Tai likes his new room. bit is having a time finding a place he likes.
Sharon - Dana did use the frontier net address correctly and so have I
ever since you gave it to us.
Happy Friday Evening, Everyone...
There may or may not be a hatchling, but there sure as heck is a load of snow in that nest!
I don't know if it will work, but I think I will try to enhance the photo to see what I can see.
Talk to you later,
Jim
Go for it, Jim and be sure to get back in here and tell us what you
see!
That sounds better....eagle in sycamore tree....
Sounds more appropriate then the pear tree... lol
6 pine sprigs...
7 momsters looking.
I really thought that Spring had begun over the past few days of nice weather... This snow is totally unacceptable!
Thanks, Mits...good...
Ok, I need something for 10 and 11, I have something for 12.
All I can think of for 12 is
Twelve other cams...........
Eleven .................
Ten Turtle shells!
Nine..................
Eight Momsters Lurking
Need some help.........
Take any you want - Paula....
What about 8 and 9???
Well, as I was saying before blooger-man kicked me off....9 juvies nearby.
Trying this again....11 spiders spinning...

Hi Sunny! I think that all the anxieties of today are getting to us tonight! Crazy bunch of momsters!
I may need to sign off an hour ahead of usual time just to keep out of trouble............................
They are out here plowing the road again....I am NOT shoveling anymore tonight...and maybe not in the morning....just give it some gas and go right over that stuff, LOL
Its a piece of bamboo...Paula. He is a sloppy eater like his dad.
Sunny you have mail

So what did he do? Like Pitoyeeed it up there...ROF ROF ROF
I'm sorry...losing it here! Getting tired and punchy and goofy!
Ok, I was trying to apologize to Tai for laughing so hard at him w/ the bamboo on his head, when the blooger man kicked me off along w/ Jo and Mits....
Man someone is out to get us:):):)
OMG!!! IT ACTUALLY POSTED.
Darn, star left the nest.
I am calling it a day and what a day it has been!
Good Night All
Pleasant dreams and Peaceful sleep
Prayers being said for all Eagles
and all Eagle Buddies
I think I might quit, while I can post and say GOOD NIGHT EVERYONE. This is probably the highest we have been on the Glogger blog, hasn't it ????
MITs, this baby is gonna kick you outta here again, LOL! Glogger!
Ok, Ladies, guess I will close it down for the night...Belle is all tucked in, hasn't moved in the last hour or so....so I will see ya'll in the morning!! Stay warm!
Bleh.. I missed Belle shoeing off Liberty. I was spending time with my kiddos.
That's something else. She's been there since last night and had maybe a 30 minute break. She's an outstanding mom.
I'm gone for the night. Everyone sleep well and stay warm.
THE LUCK OF THE IRISH TO YOU, AND TO OUR EAGLE PAIR AND THEIR NEW EAGLETS....
HAVE A POT, A RAINBOW AND A FABULOUS WEEKEND.

Good Morning all, I have been up praying for all in need, and just wanted to see if anyone else is up. I absolutely adore the 12 Days of Hatching and have been singing it over and over. GOD BLESS YOU ALL, MY DEAR FRIENDS HAPPY SAINT PATRICK DAY. WE HAVE BEEN TRULY BLESSED WITH OUR LITTLE EAGLE FAMILY. LOVE DONNA
