What a sin SHep !!! Come one feed the chicklets!!!Oh thier little voices...it does not happen by Osmosis Shep...if you eat it deos not go to them...feed them Oh almost not quite!!!
He has taken a couple of bites now....the chick didn't take the piece, probably too big....oh there he goes again...I think his pieces are too big...he comes close to the chick with the food, but don't think he knows to wait longer for them to get it...they are really watching him!
He gets the small bite but he does not extend his neck enough so they could get it...Oh I think it is a good try do it again ShepI think he is doing it...By God I think he is doing it...or did it once any way...here again!!!YEAY SHEP!!!
It must have been Mema Jo saying she will personally clip his wings if he does not reach out a bit further to feed them!!! WAY TO GO JO!!! That did it!!!LOL
ROFLMBO I think it all actually started when Shep had a beakful & leaned in a little to much and chick #1 just popped up and grabbed it....Then Shep got the idea of what rearing chicks is all about.........
This is so wonderful Hope he doesn't give up fishing.... lol
RS Hawks remove debris. We found it all over our yard, but most of it in one particular area. We found fish heads, turtle shells, (yes, Jo!) and snake skeletons.
How terrific to read that Shep finally fed the chicklets!! Now, if he obsesses about feeding the same way he seemed to obsess about mating and now about bringing fish to the nest, we will have us the fattest baby eagles in the US of A!
Sorry I didn't get to see it myself - I was on my way home from school. Can't wait to see the video, PAULA!
Thinking of SHARON right now.♥ Such a hard decision to make but good that she knew it was the right time.
The results from NICK'S Shelter will be announced on the 21st of this month... The Canadian Minister of Finance will bring down the budget on the 29th of March. I think I will like the results from the shelter better thant he results from the Canadian Minister of Finance...He is changing the formula to Old Age Security to balance the budget!!! UGH Old Age Pension can not be touched thank God!!!
LORI, I'm sure you're relieved to get good news from the vet about FloBear. Still, I bet you're concerned about the weight loss - that's a lot of weight in a short amount of time! I love having pets and can't imagine not having one but it's so hard to see them aging and slowing down. Toady is Bandit's 14th birthday and I told Dennis, just last night, that I suspect this will be his last.
I thought it looked like Shep was getting ready to try earlier. Hurray! SO gald he's finally getting the hang of it. Belle, in all her wisdom, is making him learn by trial and error. Now babes are alone.
Charlie is home, and Caro is back put getting meds filled and picking up grosseries.
Oh, Sissy, I am so grateful to TOm for going with Sharon. Please give her hugs from me when they get back. Will she bury Mopsy in the yard?
It was so peaceful. They shaved her arm and she didn't flinch. When they put the needle in, she didn't flinch. Her heart stopped really quick and there was no struggle. I was holding her head in my hands. She was really ready. Me, not so much. I know that was the most loving thing I could do but I am a selfish person sometimes. She was definitely hopelessly devoted to me for a long time.
She is buried directly across from where my office is. I am going to plant some wildflowers over her!
ROBYN, what wonderful news about TORI - truly a miracle!
LYNN, thanks for the news that Charlie is home from the hospital! BTW, you commented earlier about losing the cam. I've had a lot of trouble with the cam timing out on me today. Have had to refresh a lot more than usual!
LYNN so good to read that you had a good healing treatment...so lucky to have a good healer...you are getting the best of both the western medicine world and alternative medicine world...
SHEP is eating and took the freshest fish further away from teh chicklets...they are looking at himone the littlest one is sayng me too before bro gets up!!!
Sandi, I lost the cam site on the KIndle. No problem on laptop except for the occassional need to restart. Currently at 4:49 since last restart!
Oh, Sharon, so good t hat it was a peaceful passing for Mopsy. Sounds like an ideal place for her grave. Lots of love and hugs coming at you. (((XOXO)))
Can't get this stupid computer to get the live feed again...thanks for the commentary! Nice to know Shep fed them again! I'll make a video of his first feeding when I get home tonight!
She has such patience to wait for just the right angle and just the right piece size. She patiently tries and tries again till the little one finally gets the piece.
There was some definite sibling rivalry there! #1 sure is feisty - how about Alpha and Beta, or maybe Alpha and Bit! Wonderful to watch both get plenty to eat and to watch Belle's patience with feeding them.

We have had about an inch of rain here at our house. Most of the serve stuff went north of us. Have been hearing lots of thunder. Tornado down near San Antonio. Have not heard of any in our area.
Well I am certainly glad we are back on...missed you all so very much. There was a resolution that needed a vote and it passed.
Whooee, I haven't seen rain like this since I lived in Utah as a kid! It's pouring outside right now--I have my laptop on battery, not plugged in. Lots of awesome thunder and lightning.
Jen, Kubby, Sierra and I went to Courtney's Tumbling lesson tonight--Wow! She is doing some crazy backflips with twists and really impressing us with her talent! She's made the JV Cheer Squad, also! She's working well on the trampoline, too. After practice, the rain let loose, and we drove through some serious heavy rain to get home. Thankfully, not a long drive. Had a tornado watch here, too, but just strong winds and heavy, heavy rain. Got a bit of small hail once we got back to the house. Has been pouring, with T & L, ever since.
Want to wish Bev/Sissy a somewhat belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Love & (HUGS)!!!
Sharon, so very sorry about Mopsy. You did the right thing, though. I know how very hard that is to do, but it is an act of love. My heart goes out to you. ((HUGS))!!
Well, the rain seems to be letting up a bit, so I think I'm going to try to get some shut-eye. Have said prayers for everyone, especially Lynn, Sharon, Charlie, Tori, and all those needing healing. Lolly, hope you and Jack are still staying afloat! Can't wait for Friday!

Good morning LORI...I have not even thought of going to bed yet!!! Yikes and you are already on for the morning...WOW...I went to yoga and a meeting and got home at 9:30 PM my time and no sign of sleep!!!
WOW - just got the phone call that I have a 2 hour fog delay today!! Think I'll catch up from last night, feed the dogs, and head back to bed for a bit!! Wish the call had come before I even got out of bed!
To quote Dr. Seuss, "We are here, we are here, we are here, we are here"!
Good morning. That is what came to mind when I saw the blog was back up and running.I went to bed before we were back on. Like Sandi I decided on a bath and bed, with a book (Kindle) and beer! LOL! Boy have I been worn out lately. I can't wait for Spring/Easter break.
DMo, you made me do it - 56 school days left for me! June 11th is the last day for kids and the 13th for teachers. But right now I'm focused on 13 days til spring break (we have off the week after Easter). DMo, is your spring break as long as your Christmas one was?
Yea, I see we are posting again!! I am so glad that they got that fixed. Too many withdrawals for many of you I am sure. Trying to get kids up school. I hate this job. At 13 & 17 you would think they would get up on their own. I did. Robyn, I am so happy to hear that Tori is going to get to come home!!!! I cannot wait to meet you all.
Lucky for your kids Jewels. the Archdiocese of Baltimore won't let us take the days off the calendar! I'm so pissed and our principal won't do anything about it. Some of the other schools are getting the days but we are not.
Jewels! You coulda fooled me, I thought Jenn was older than 13! Good to See you, and everyone else here this morning... I saw late last night the Blog had come back to life !
Oh good for you Sandi! Most public schools don't get that long of a break, at least not around here. We are off Holy Thursday, Good Friday and the whole week after Easter. That is when I am finally going to get to meet Kay! We will be packing the camper and heading out for the week. I can't wait!!
Thinking of dear Sharon and all the family with the loss of Mopsy... good burial place, Sharon... and yes Wildflowers, that is a beautiful tribute and will bring you good memories and many smiles.... (( Hugs ♥ ))
Will do Margy.... He slept pretty good. His good leg was bothering him when he got up. I did not see any redness or swelling. He better get well, my patience its on thin ice. Lol

Not sure how much they are actually getting, but he gets it now!
The little one just grabbed it out of Shep's beak!! LOL
Oh yeah, that was a bite!
SHEP IS FEEDING HIS CHICKS
Maybe Shep just had to wait until they were a little bigger!!
Some men are downright afraid of little babies!!
Those eaglets have done some serious moving!!
It must have been Mema Jo saying she will personally clip his wings if he does not reach out a bit further to feed them!!! WAY TO GO JO!!! That did it!!!LOL
Shep is feeding the babies now! Way to go Dad!!! WooHoo!! Way to be a man!!
OMG Shep is feeding!!!!!!! Also, eaglets are out of the cup!!!! OMG!
What a man!!!! Wahooooo!
Sissy - there is one of your birthday gifts!!! Shep was holding out until YOUR special day!
Guess you have taken a picture of this momentous occasion!
Put those babies back in that cup right now!! Belle is gonna be mad about that!
What a beautiful thing ! Shep is probably going to overboard now that he "gets it"---he'll be trying to feed them even when they aren't hungry. LOL
Oh, they are so cute!! Look at them say6ing "Dad, I want some!"
Judy went to work

One little one has returned to the cup. The other is still chowing. I am loving this!
You better Share, Dad
They are certainly strong!
I got tape! Can't process it till later, tho.
Okay, he has them tucked back in. I guess it is okay. Whew!
Whoop! Our weather radio just went off. We are under a tornado watch. Not sunny but still bright here.
Yea, Paula. Glad you got a video. Those that missed it will certainly want to see and celebrate!
ROFLMBO I think it all actually
started when Shep had a beakful &
leaned in a little to much and chick #1
just popped up and grabbed it....Then
Shep got the idea of what rearing chicks
is all about.........
This is so wonderful
Hope he doesn't give up fishing.... lol
And what a nice fresh fish that is, too. Who brought it in?
If they don't get rid of some of that fish, they are not gonna have room for the babies.
Tom and Sharon are at the vet with Mopsy. Such a hard time for her. The most loving thing we can do but the hardest.
Yes Lolly, without the video nobody
would believe us! lol
Thanks PAULA for the tape...I have not seen anyone else with a tape of this happening yet...big day...good thing...
I think fresh flugg is used to cover
the fish..... I can't remember Belle or
Lib actually removing any debris...
Jo, I really do think it was your threat! LOL Thanks for speaking so clearly to Shep. Tough love!
What an "Afternoon Delight"
Personally I would love some

I am getting a hair cut around

Andy is just a little ne of Denton. We are just off I35 in the county below Ft. Worth. We are watching the weather carefully!
I'm lurking. So glad to hear Shep is feeding the kids now.
Well, you never know! The vet gave us a dire prognosis on Annie almost 2 years ago. We selected not to give her meds. She is doing great!
It is about time Shep fed the eaglets, I honestly didn;t think he was going to get it this season.
On another note Tori is expected to leave rehab the 30th and continue with outpatient at home 3 days a week.
Sharon my heart goes out to you we had to put our boy Scooby down last May and though it still hurts, he doesn't anymore.
Robyn, that is such exciting news. So happy for Tori and for you!
Shelly is gone, and I am relaxed and mellow. Gotta get past the splt to see what you all are up to!
Shep up..oh they were hiding a fish back there...where is the egg cup? It's indistinguishable ??(sp)??
ROBYN this is such exciting news and a real miracle rather...what strength your TORI has and what blessings you all know...
OH OH!!! Shep backs off to teh railing at eleven and takes to wing...Chicks unattended
Shep poofed
Shep just poofed! Babies unattended!
How cool Shep finally fed the chicks.
And that is really great news about Tori, Robyn!
And Shep is back!
I don't like this one little bit...oh here he is...I was going to call on JO and her eagle cane!!!
Tom and Chris buried Mopsy out by the fence outside of Sharon's window where she works. We will plant some wildflowers there when the weather permits.
I am home. Thanks everyone for the love and hugs.
Be safe, Lolly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shelter in the tub!
Hi, Red! What's for dinner?
Robyn, wonderful news! 10 days---YIPPEE!!!!!
Well, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Sandi's Bandit!
Good on him he is feeding again...this is a very good sign.
Hard to tell for sure but I think Shep was trying to feed the chicks again!
That is so cute, he's so hesitant, and then the chicks just grab it from him.
(((XOXO)))
Off to get my do done BBL
SHEP FED THE BABIES!!!
He quit to soon, the chicks are waiting for more food. he seems to be sampling every fish in the nest.
Yay for Shep!!
Shep is trying again...
Chick #1 is about to climb out of the nest cup again, Shep is feeding it now.
Aww, so sweet.
POOF SHEP!
Shep poofed. Babies along.
I mean alone.
I am still amazed with the amount of food in the nest, I can't remember it ever being that full lol
With how everything is going with Tori she may be joining us for the nest lunch, with mom and dad in town they will also.
In a few weeks they will poof along with him. Not yet.
Oh, Robyn that would be so great!!
Amazing that she will be hope by the end of the month, too!!
Go Tori!!!
Shep is a good fisherman.
Raining lightly here again. 68°.
Robyn, bet you're so excited that you are seeing the end of the tunnel and long, long hospital stays! HooRay for Tori!
Happy 14th Birthday to Bandit!
Happy 53rd to SISSY/BEV!
LYNN, hope you're loving your KindleFire. It's exciting just hearing you talk about it. Best of all, glad you're feeling up to using it!
CLUNK
Belle is back
She's looking at the chicks and nest and thinking.....what happened here??
Looks like the babies are asleep.
More noise in the attic...
LOLLY, that storm looks wicked with all those nasty colors. Please, stay safe. Like Lynn said, the bathtub!
BELLE IS BACK
Belle still staring at the chicks...
Wondering what happened to her nest cup...
Woodpecker on the camera??
Belle picks up a fish at 12 position and is eating facing away from the nest...
-
One of the chicks is awake and ready for food...
Belle feeding the chick...
The other one is trying to wake up...
Maybe not just yet...
The other one wakes and up for food now...
Poop Shoot!!
SHEP LANDS AT 3 WITH ANOTHER FISH!
Can't get this stupid computer to get the live feed again...thanks for the commentary! Nice to know Shep fed them again! I'll make a video of his first feeding when I get home tonight!
Belle still feeding chicks...
A good long feeding...
Busy, busy these days! I miss checking in and chatting.
Look at Belle trying to patiently to ignore #1 and get the food into #2's mouth.
Those babies are so stinking cute!!1
When there is not enough room in the nest for the chicks, then there will be too much fish....I will not deny him that!
She has such patience to wait for just the right angle and just the right piece size. She patiently tries and tries again till the little one finally gets the piece.
Beautiful to watch...
My Heavens where are they putting it all...Belle has been feeding for a LOOOOOOOONNNNNNNGGGG time. They are still eating...this is good.
Done feeding...
Now to get this nest back in order...
What a wonderful, wonderful mother she is.
There was some definite sibling rivalry there! #1 sure is feisty - how about Alpha and Beta, or maybe Alpha and Bit! Wonderful to watch both get plenty to eat and to watch Belle's patience with feeding them.
well it was nice UNTIL I tried to blog anyway. Geesh
This is what I was saying when we bloggers were so rudely interrupted at 5:47:
Raining hard here now...ugh!
Heavy snow in Flagstaff, AZ....not sure how close that is to Delphia.

We were Jonesin' to see Shep feed the eaglets, and we got what we were waiting for! Today should be an interesting day !

I am sorry Danomo.... You wanna pick up n move here?? We will be glad to have you!
Glad to read you have a full house this morning, Jewels....
Give our best to Charlie !
and best wishes on a complete and comfortable recovery ...xo
