Eagles will eat about anything in various environments... fins, fur, feathers, carrion, bugs, even garbage. Mother Nature gave them a very efficient digestive system.
sUSAn thanks for the comment about the money...I would not suppose that it was marked...some insurance company somewhere is going to be peaved big time for having to replace it...
Uh-Oh!!! there is a Canadian connection to the snowglobe of money lost on 270 in Maryland...They lost 5,700 dollars and the truck security truck is from Montreal, Quebec Canada...door was not secured!!!Oh my!!! the plot thickens!!!
See where Jewels posted a couple of times, hope she is sleeping pretty now for a few hours.... and hoping that Lynn is doing okay, always hope for that.... all the time ♥

Home from a great East Indian dinner at Julie's and hoping to see word from or about LYNN. She did say she might not be in touch til' tomorrow, so prayers continue, of course.
Thrilled with LOLLY's report and pics as well as ANDY's ! Can you believe they both enjoyed the get together ? LOL How sweet of LOLLY to give ANDY a little eagle !
Must crash now, but will pray for all in need, all travling whether to Paradise, the West Coast or elsewhere... Hope hope you all have a restful, sweet dreams, night ! Tomorrow ♫♪
LOLLY Glad you heard from LYNN. I hope by now she is resting comfortably.
The current will bring debris, not debree like in my earlier post, to British Columbia first but it will also go to California JUDIE.I can not believe it has been a year already.
Time sure flies! Getting ready to give the 'puter a rest. Hope it won't be busy tomorrow w/the rain. (Maybe I can get online! ssshhh) BTW, went to Park in AM for a meeting. Mom eagle's head was visible in middle of nest & same when I left around noon!!!She's not almost hidden anymore in the nest bowl!!! For everyone hitting the hay, Pleasant Feather Dreams & Prayers for Good Health & Xtra ones for our Lynn ;>) ☺ ♥
Well, everyone has gone back home, and Jay has left to head back to Dallas, too. Our nephew Ryan was here with his sons Gavin, 6, and Garrett, just turned 1 year old. They are two cute little guys! Ryan and his family live in Denton, TX. This is the first time we've seen Garrett in person, and we could almost take him home with us! He's a little chunk with strawberry blond hair who looks Irish--and he IS (last name McGreevey!) I think Jen got some good pictures of them, so will have her send them to my phone so I can put them on my blog.
My new avatar is the little eagle that Lolly gave me--cute, isn't it? Looks just like Belle, and will hang out near my computer when we get home. Can't thank you enough, Lolly! :o]
Uh, Paula..you seem to be putting the letter E in places it doesn't belong, and also forgetting to put it where is should be. LOL!!!!! Must be the beach air!
I am thinking of getting ready for bed. Have plans for tomorrow and it includes lots of yard work. We had a lot of mole tunnels wash out in the rain and one made a huge sink hole. Jack wants me to help. I will hold up the lawn grass as he shovels in dirt to fill the hole.
Critters are getting the best of me!! The dern armadillo has dug all but one night this past week. Lynne...will trade you one armadillo for 1000 stink bugs.☺
Also, going to spread more mulch, plant some grass, and take our plants out of the green house. Yea!!!
Andy, you snuck in again when I was not looking. It was so much fun today. Next time you come to TX to visit you will have to come here for dinner. However, I do know that family comes first! How is Ken doing? Did his tattoo hurt? Hope not! Safe travels tomorrow.
uh huh Paula....roger that. LOL! pardon me, I'm just jealous because I am not at the beach!
oh Andy, the SBs are so gross. They are pooping all over the windows. We are going to have to do a cleaning tomorrow. There have been about 25 a day. Hoping the cooler weekend will calm things down a bit.
Well, I went to my FB page, and I have the new timeline. Not published yet, but there it is. I did not choose it. Figured it would happen sooner or later.
Lolly, I would LOVE an armadillo! LOL! And speaking of mole tunnels...Daisy would like you to know that she can smell them in the tunnels. Her new thing is to POUNCE and DIG! It's hilarious to see!
They told me March 30 is when mine will be published that way. I have trouble finding my way around it, and I was happy the way it was, but I suppose I will adjust. If I don't, I will just stay confused.
Okay, came back to publish the link to candles and saw the comments.
That is all I need...to add a dog digging for moles in my yard! Yikes!!! Next armadillo we find we will box up and send to you, Lynne! LOL Oh, I am sure I will be achey tomorrow. Oh, well...I will be habby! Nite!(for the 3rd time!)
Good question!!! I have no idea! Probably Daisy as it would be year round going after moles. Armadillos do give us a break in the winter. roflmbo 4th good nite!
SHIRLEY with the new time line, to get to your news feed, clcik on HOME on the upper right hand corner. They don't tell you that, and I kept reading only my own posts and not seeing anyone else's till I figured it out!!!Upper right hand cornere is a good place to explore...
Steve and CO. saw a dead armadillo on the side of the road in South Carolina. I am trying not to have hurt feelings that he didn't stop and bring it back for me. That would certainly have been an interesting addition to my skull collection.
LYNNE I have to admit I am with STEVE on that one, carrying a dead armadillo in the trunk of the car with the suit cases would be odd, probably stunk to high heaven also!!!LOL Give him a break on that one!!!
JUDIE...in answer to your question about Family Friday; yes, it did take place, Jayden was more laughs than a barrel of monkies...his vocabulary is hysterical, but some things he says perfectly:) I put GG's patch on her shoulder and she had no pills. By the time we left, she still had no pain! Oh, so anxious to see how she fares over the weekend. I did leave her one emergency pill in a draw. She knows to go there ONLY in an emergency (VERY BAD PAIN) Doctor said she should not need any pain pills as long as she wears this patch! I pray that it works~
Bedtime...
GOOD NIGHT DEAR FRIENDS SWEET DREAMS PRAYERS FOR ALL LYNN♥
Good late night or early morning!! I am at work for my 4 hr stint. LOL Mom was feeling very weak and puny. Talked to her about 7:15pm and she said she didn't have much of a appettite. They have decided to do the chemo every two weeks from here on out. I asked if there was any talk of a pet scan to see where we are with treatments and progress and the answer was no not yet. So... Pray for strength in magnitudes! She needs to get stronger. She went on to bed and was asleep at 8:30 when I called and woke her up. Said she may get up later to try a corn beef sandwich. I told her if she wanted to to give me a call at work. No calls yet. :(
I so pray that she can eat in the morning and she has some strength back. I will be going over in the morning hours and then will have to leave to take my girls to a babyshower of a friend of theirs. She was married last summer and now she is having a baby. She is all grown up and is going to be a beautiful mother.
CAROLYN you have daughters who are old enough to have a friend with a baby shower? How old are your girls? You do not look old enough to have teena ge d daughters or older...NO WAY JOSE!!!
Hoda, my oldest will be 18 in June. She made friends with the high school students when she was in 7th grade, (should have been in 8th grade but failed) Her friend graduated high school 2 yrs ago... so she is probably going on 20 or 21 yrs old. Still hard to believe sometimes that I have a daighter who will be 18!! My youngest is going to 14 yrs old in May. Thanks for the compliments of me looking young. I sure don't feel it at all!!!
Coming back to say I think I'd better say goodnight. Just about doing a face plant here!
Once we get back home and semi-organized I will put more pictures on my blog. Kubby has a couple of good ones of his new tattoo in his camera, and maybe in his phone. I want to take pictures of the tattoo after he's washed it and cleaned it up a bit. It will look better then. Oops! the clothes dryer is hollering at me for some attention! BRB...
Hoda, We are traveling tomorrow, but our plane doesn't take off until 12:40 pm, so don't have to get up super early in the morning.
I'm doing one more load of wash so it's all done except what we're wearing when we get home. Makes getting organized much easier.
Right now, Latte is trying to get me to chase her through the house at top speed, and play hide-and-go-seek. she is such a little rip-snorter! Full of beans, apparently!LOL
Saying prayers nonstop for Lynn, and hope she sleeps well tonight. Praying that there will be no nausea tomorrow, and her appetite will be firmly in place! LYNN, here are some (((GIANT HUGS))), and lots of LOVE, coming your way!
Carolyn, I'm glad you only have a 4-hr. shift--I cannot imaging you making it through 8 hours! Are you feeling any better? Sure hope so! (((HUGS))) for you, and prayers, too! Prayers continue for Charlie, too.
Here's a picture of some of the kids' neighbors. You can hear them neighing morning and night at feeding time. This is horse country! BTW, when we were standing on the front porch saying good night to a couple of people, a cute, medium-sized toad hopped across the porch through our feet!
Well, I can see Belle on the nest, and it actually looks as if she has her head tucked. Since things look peaceful there, I am going to hit the sack. Have said prayers for everyone, especially Lynn and Carolyn, and have made sure the porch light is on. Enabling both security systems. Sleep soundly, everyone. God bless, and goodnight. Love each and every one of you! :o]
Good middle of the night, I am up and a bit sleepless at the moment. I was hungry, too, so had a sandwich.
Rough day, but doing better after soem med dosage changes, and I did sleep well this evening. Went to bed at 8 and did ok until about MN:30, and now up and down. Thunder boomers happening now.
Andy, safe trip home. Glad you've had such a fantastic visit, and can't wait to hear about your lunch with Lolly! Loved the pic she sent me on my phone!!!! And in email, too! Saved it to my puter.
Liesl has gone to doggie camp with the PetSmart trainer Maxine. I am eased knowing that she is better off for now, and hopefully it will be a short visit. Of course, she will be hopelessly spoiled!!
Feeling as good as I can be although... I even had a shortnap before I cam ein at midnight. Has been relatively easy tonight. Bars were quiet. Good to see my Mom on here! She called me just a few min ago as well. She sounded so much better than earlier. :)
It was fun! We had a great time just relaxing and hanging out which we never seem to be able to do. We are all pretty good friends and even though we work together we don't get to spend much time together. We take turns doing happy hour. I usually do summers with the pool, but we needed one this week and with no snow days all winter we were ready to just relax.
Grades 2-8 had testing this week so those teachers were REALLY ready! ☺ My aide had to do all the testing of absent students so my week was pretty stressful too. Not used to not having my left hand!
DanaMo, Know what you mean about never having time at work to chat with other teachers - either our "clients" are demanding our attention or we're busy getting stuff ready for the next day. I tell people that teaching is perpetually treading water - you never get to "just float!" That's why summers off are so crucial!
Lynne2, good news on Wendy; hope she really is ready to get the help she needs.
Lolly, I would take 10 armadillos over stinkbugs! At least armadillos stay outside! Fortunately, they haven't made it here yet, but Brian and Lynnis had them EVERYWHERE at their house in WV - so disgusting!
Andy, safe traveling today!
Prayers and positive energy for Lynn; it was good to see you on the blog last night. Hope you wake today feeling hungry and energetic!
Paula, stay dry today in Paradise this weekend! The rain is headed this way! Still, any day at the beach is a good day!
Stinkbugs, UGH! I think I've discovered that leaving lights off at night definitely helps. I don't know if they go to the heat of the light bulb or the light itself, but there's fewer in the bathroom without even the little night-light on.
We are Baltimore bound today. My 10 year old niece has an ice show (think dance recital on ice skates) at the Laurel Ice Gardens this afternoon. They are doing Beauty and the Beast and Madeline is a napkin! I'm sure she will be the most beautiful napkin at the dinner parties (she's in 3 scenes)!! We will drive to Mom's, drop off dogs, then drive to the ice show, and then probably go out to dinner somewhere with my sister, BIL, niece, and nephew. Then back to Mom's to spend the night.
Tomorrow, I will see a former student, who I taught in 5th grade but who is now a firefighter and married, with a 3 year old daughter. Dan's daughter has a very rare blood disorder, HLH for short (can't even spell the long name). Ally spent a year of her life, from 1 1/2 til 2 1/2 at Johns Hopkins and then Kennedy Krieger for chemo, then a bone marrow transplant, and then a series of complications that almost killed her. She is happy and healthy now, though she still has some developmental delays. Anyway, Dan has gotten very involved with an organization called St. Baldricks. People organize fund raisers and get others to "sponsor" them to shave their heads. The money raised goes to childhood cancer research. This is the 3rd year Dan has organized a St. Baldricks event and I have sponsored him each year. But this year, Denny and I will be going to the event so I can see Dan (haven't seen him since he was about 22 and stopped by my school to tell me I was the most influential teacher in his life), meet his wife and Ally, and also see Dan's mom, who was my room mother the year I taught Dan. I am really looking forward to it!!
Belle feeding hungry babies!
Good morning Lori and Margy, I see that you jumped on while I was typing this!
Sorry I left for awhile, tried to go back to sleep but it didn't work out. Cuddling with the labs was nice though.
Yes, Sandi, I don't think most people know how demanding our jobs are. I live for summer! Even then though I find myself gathering, preparing, researching etc...Yet I get teased when I am relaxing around the pool about my "rough" life!
Two labs look so cute right now. Both are sitting on the deck with their heads between the rails surveying their world!
Very cool story Sandi. Makes it all worth while (being most influential teacher).
Annemarie is having a sleep over tonight. We will all go to 5:15 Mass then eat dinner and I will drop them off at the theater for the Hunger Games. Monte is out of town for the weekend, very unusual, so I will have to stay up late to pick them up! Yikes! Then we have a lacrosse game tomorrow afternoon providing no thunderstorms cancel the game. They will play in the rain, which means I will watch in the rain.
GOOD MORNING EAGKE BUDS WOS OVER120 comments to read since last nite chatty bunch so I best get to it LYNNE2 so glad you are enjoying my video I was wondering if anyone watches them
I just read LOLLY where you suggested double clicking on pictures to see larger on the blog Did you all notice I make mine all large of the blog so no double clicking needed I just do it when I edit them choose the exlarge picture before saving
Forgot to make dog food last night - had enough for Bella! Fortunately, old bandit sleeps in so I had time to make a batch - he still hasn't come downstairs!
Catching up on the news at a few other eagle nests - NBG is still waiting to see if they will get an egg. Decorah is expecting their first hatch of the season today or tomorrow. Boy, the drama at the NBG nest has been very interesting. I'll take drama-less for our eagles for the rest of this season, please!!
Shep pulled out the feathery thing that was delivered yesterday and started nibbling, til Belle decided it was hers! Now, Belle is back at 12 and Shep is standing in the pantry.
With both chicks sitting side by side and facing away from the cam, you can still see the size difference between them. But both are getting food and are much less bobbly.
Hope the video of the hawk turns out that would be cool SHIRLEY and the new time line you will soon love like the rest of us I love it because of you can make the pic bigger and video etc
JEWELs thanks for letting us know you spoke with your mom I hope she gets to feeling better and every two weeks hope that helps also
YEAH LYNN POSTED in the middle of the night and hadd a sandwich
I am signing off - will be able to check my emails from my ancient cell as we drive to and from, but will not be able to post, unless I can jump on Mom's computer this evening.
Sharon, if we get a new thread today and if you remember my username and password, do me a favor and subscribe me to the new thread. Thanks!
I'll "see" everyone when I can. Lynn, hope you feel up to blogging today!
I have an eagle question for those in the know . . . how do the nests come about. Does an eagle start a nest before breeding maturity, or after they pair up? What does a first year nest look like - quite small? I'm as impressed with the nests, as I am with the eagles.
C/A, I'm sure Paula can answer your question. I suspect a female starts building when she nears maturity and keeps at it, and then when a male enters the picture they work on it together.

You all split so now I will jump
Wow, split!!
I need to take a break
BBILW
Shep brought in six meals SHIRLEY
That is lovely for the eagles. Glad I am not surrounded by six dead fish, though. To each his own.
Eagles will eat about anything in various environments... fins, fur, feathers, carrion, bugs, even garbage. Mother Nature gave them a very efficient digestive system.
Six meals is a very good day.
SHIRLEY SHARON said one of the meals was a coot.
sUSAn thanks for the comment about the money...I would not suppose that it was marked...some insurance company somewhere is going to be peaved big time for having to replace it...
Hoda, insurance will cover the loss. Heads will roll and premiums go up.
Uh-Oh!!! there is a Canadian connection to the snowglobe of money lost on 270 in Maryland...They lost 5,700 dollars and the truck security truck is from Montreal, Quebec Canada...door was not secured!!!Oh my!!! the plot thickens!!!
Ohhhhhh heads will roll. Some people are walking in tall cotton. A thickened plot, no doubt. The loss could have been sooooooo much more.
I got a chuckle out of Peaglet when Paula posted that earlier
Great pictures, Lolly...You and Andy and Ken...Thank You....
Thinking of Lynn ♥
Good Evening Eagle Pals....
xo
Oh, no! Not smart to leave the door of your armored truck not secured. Open? Unlocked? I am afraid heads will roll.
Not much use to have an armored truck with the door unsecured and dumping money on the highway.
Jo
you had me fooled...I thought you were going for breakfast at iHop Saturday morning, but you went TONIGHT for "A.M" in the "P.M."
Yummmmmy
That's pretty amazing about the money...
surprised/glad there weren't some Accidents during the free for all
Peaglets good. hahaha Wing walkers, knee draggers, too. :-)
See where Jewels posted a couple of times, hope she is sleeping pretty now for a few hours....
and hoping that Lynn is doing okay, always hope for that....

Venus and Jupiter have switched positons, now Jupiter is lower to the horizon, Venus, higher, they are pulling away from each other
In a night or two or three, Baby Moon will join up with them
Has anyone heard from Lynn? I know it was a hard day. LOTS of fluids for you LYNN.
Margy, you are going to make me check Skyiew.
I can only say that I have NOT...Maybe Jewels will post during her four-hour night shift...
(( Hugs ♥ ))
No sUSAn...there was a post from CAROLYN where she had not yet heard from her mother...nothing since then...
well It's pretty cloudy here...not a whole lot to see in EASTERN West Virginia, Susan....
Mars should be out in the East, it is orange and you will know it if you see it....
Is this it?????
I haven't heard from Lynn today - I am sure this was an exhausting day for her.
She had mentioned she may not be on until tomorrow --- Prayers for Lynn ♥
Howdy Hoda
I know Christie was with Lynn from start to finish....so I am thinking positive thoughts and keeping my prayers going...
Belle is staying off to the side of
the eaglets
Well...good grief!! I got fooled by that dumb 200 once more. Duh!
Both the Night and the Energy Bandits are clobbering me way before Judie's Sandperson makes his rounds....
Going to close up shop early....

HOWDY MARGY....so am I.
Jo was right LYNN had said she might not be on today yesterday...
Holding space for her with PRAYERS♥ and positive thoughts.
Have thought often today of Lynn. I meant to send her a picture to her phone, but actually emailed it to her.
Maybe I should text to her.
Belle is on the railing at 7:30 position...
I mark the cup by going from "live eagle cam" below the frame to 1/2 way up to 2/3 of the way up for the position of the cup...
I just sent Lynn a text and a picture.♥
evening all. Glad to be home, finally. what a crappy day at work.
Meanwhile.....I'm thinking these chickies might need to be named after famous escape artists, like Houdini and Blaine. LOL!
Haven't read back but hoping Lynn has popped in or Caro with an update on how she did today.
That's Sweet of you Lolly, I think that is a friendly way to send a precious greeting....
Thank You....xoxox
Good Night, Love you All....
Nite Margy!! We love you, too!
Howdy, Lynne! Sorry you had a bad day. No, we have not heard from Lynn.
Lolly, Lynn will appreciate and enjoy :-)
I recently ordered on line two new albums for recipe's. Mine had declined in condition, so to speak. LOL Think I am going to really like the organization. See...there is always HOPE! Going to work on that this evening.
Hi, Gang!
Finally back at the kids' house.
Had the BEST time at lunch, meeting LOLLY! She is a sweetheart, and I'm SOOOO glad that we finally got to meet!
I see that she has posted a couple of pictures! Bless her heart, she gave me a cute little stuffed eagle, and it looks JUST LIKE BELLE! Thank you again, Lolly!!!
I LOVE it!
We had the best visit!
Ken and I went to Dallas after lunch with Lolly, and met Jay at her tattoo studio. Ken got a tattoo on his upper arm in remembrance of Heather Nicole, our daughter who passed away in 1992.
Jay did a fantastic job, and it is just beautiful! Jen got a good picture of it--I need to get her to send it to me on my phone, and I can post it later tonight. A few people are coming over tonight to wish us bon voyage. Drat! We have to go home tomorrow!
OOps--gotta go. People are starting to arrive. Later, alligators! I'll be back tonight.
I also have a book I am trying to finish. Laurel brought me Hunger Games to read, but want to finish the other first. I just do not know about Hunger Games. She knows what I like and she assures me I will like it. We shall see!
Whoops! See that Andy snuck in and is gone. Yes, Ken got a tattoo today done by his granddaughter, Jay. He said he had always said he would never get one...and look what a granddaughter can do to you! LOL
Lolly and Andy...I'm so very glad you two got to meet and spend time together today! So exciting, when people on our little blog get a chance to meet!
Sorry you have to leave your family tomorrow Andy, but boy, Emma will surely be glad to see you again!
They said Emma will forgive them. LOL Don't you know she will be excited.
Just wish we had had more time to visit.
Rus said that he has a red shouldered hawk or maybe a pair living close to his house, and that they are curious about his RC sailplanes and fly close to them trying to figure out what kind of birds they are.
Wanted to see a bigger picture of Lolly and Andy, so I copied it and put it on my blog.
For some reason, I now have two blogs called Shirley's Pics. The first one does not have anything in it. I guess it is safe to delete it if it is possible. But I have not done that yet.
Belle steps into the nest and bends in to look at the eaglets.
A boat from last year's Tsunami in Japan showed up on British Columbia cost...the debree is going to start showing up in California also...
Shirley - I don't know how large Russ'
planes are -- could a RTH be brave
enough to catch it in its claws...?
that's pretty interesting Shirley....guess the hawks NEED to KNOW what's going on in their territory! They must be quite perplexed!
Happy hour was a little more than an hour. Everyone just left ☺
DMO I hope everyone, especially you, had a good relaxing time! Great to have a everyone over. Do the labs participate?
Belle is not brooding sitting up in the nest at around7:30 position facing eleven
I was thinking the same thing, Jo. I have no idea. I asked him if he could get videos or pictures.
Yes, the labs are worn out from all the action. Tried to keep them in the basement but they eventually were allowed up. One of the little girls of one of the teachers in none to fond of my dogs, but she did okay and so did they. She would scream whenever they would get near her and of course if she ran they would run, they are still puppies (HA 3year old puppies)
Just got a call from MIL...Wendy has been moved to another mental facility that sounds pretty good. She actually called mom and said she wanted to stay and get better!! She said Wendy sounded very positive! I'm so glad...we all are. But guardedly so. But really, I think this is a GOOD thing because she sure wasn't interested just a couple of days ago in getting any help. WOO HOO! Things are looking up! (hopefully!)
Been checking out Judy's videos of eagle events today..thanks for posting them JudyE!
Good news LYNNE...I hope WENDY gets proper attention.
Can someone email me Judie's email address?
Home from a great East Indian dinner at Julie's and hoping to see word from or about LYNN. She did say she might not be in touch til' tomorrow, so prayers continue, of course.
Thrilled with LOLLY's report and pics as well as ANDY's ! Can you believe they both enjoyed the get together ? LOL How sweet of LOLLY to give ANDY a little eagle !
Must crash now, but will pray for all in need, all travling whether to Paradise, the West Coast or elsewhere... Hope hope you all have a restful, sweet dreams, night ! Tomorrow ♫♪

Lynn, replied to my text, just a short comment. Glad she saw the picture!
Lynne, that is sounding better for Wendy and truly hope it is a turn for the better. Will keep her in prayer.
One recipe holder is complete. Threw out some recipes not used. Still need to copy some recipes, but it is looking better!
Shirley, I posted pictures on my blog "Eagle Pics". Remember to double click and you can see the picture really large. LOL
Lynne, you have mail.
Thanks, Lolly! Good pictures.
I am getting ready to close down for the day but first I must

Good late evening and almost tomorrow. Fell asleep after dinner.
Sending loving thoughts to Lynn♥
Paula, enjoy your paradise time. Glad you had a safe trip.
Lolly, so happy you and Andy and family had such a nice visit. Will try look at pictures tomorrow.
Lynne2, along with you and Steve, I'm sure we all wish Wendy a successful commitment to getting better. Meanwhile, sorry you had a crummy day.
Hoda, I suspect you are our harbinger of debris to come. We all knew the debris would arrive at some point and now it has.
I am ready to close it down
Good Night Everyone
Thinking of you and praying for you,Lynn
** (((HUGS FOR ALL))) **
Belle is still standing guard and not brooding.
Lolly my dil is a big hunger games fan...she went to see the movie tonight...I haven't read them yet

Bugs are already out jhere
Think my neighbors gkids are on thye beach fishing
LOLLY Glad you heard from LYNN.
I hope by now she is resting comfortably.
The current will bring debris, not debree like in my earlier post, to British Columbia first but it will also go to California JUDIE.I can not believe it has been a year already.
Time sure flies!
Getting ready to give the 'puter a rest.
Hope it won't be busy tomorrow w/the rain. (Maybe I can get online! ssshhh)
BTW, went to Park in AM for a meeting.
Glad Lynn responded to Lolly...been thinking of her all day
I see "jumpin Jo" has jumped into dreamland. Sandperson's feelings are hurt. Feels unwanted.
Shirley, how exciting to have the hawks so interested in the RC planes. Bet they have no idea what king of "birds" they are seeing.
DanaMo, so nice that the get together was successful -- evening for the flying labs.
Kay, glad you enjoyed dinner with Julie. Hope you continue to improve.
Good night all. Tired and the sandperson has dumped a 5lb bag of sleeping powder into my eyes.
Restful sleep for all and for all a good night.
Rus can take videos from the planes, so he might get a really good view of the hawks. Just hope it's not of the hawks attacking the plane.
I would love to see RUS'video of the plane and the hawks SHIRLEY...
Hoda, I will share it if he gets something.
Hi, Everyone!
:):)
Uh, Paula..you seem to be putting the letter E in places it doesn't belong, and also forgetting to put it where is should be. LOL!!!!! Must be the beach air!
Cute Andy...so happy you two got to meet
Can't wait to see Kens tattoo
Getting ready to head to bed...safe travels Andy
(((Hugs for all)))
I am thinking of getting ready for bed.
Yea!!!
Night all! Sweet dreams! Prayers for Lynn!
Lynne its this darn mini keyboard!
Hi, Lynne2,
Glad to hear the encouraging news about Wendy! Prayers for her, and you & Steve, continue.
How are the stinkbugs doing? Nice to know that your ranch is now famous!
Hope that you and Steve can get a good rest this weekend. You've both earned some R&R.
Andy, you snuck in again when I was not looking. It was so much fun today. Next time you come to TX to visit you will have to come here for dinner. However, I do know that family comes first! How is Ken doing? Did his tattoo hurt? Hope not! Safe travels tomorrow.
Uh, oh...pulled a Margy!!! Nite all!
uh huh Paula....roger that. LOL! pardon me, I'm just jealous because I am not at the beach!
oh Andy, the SBs are so gross.
Shirley, several of my FB friends got the timeline today. So far mine is still the same old way, but I think by March 30, everyone will have it.
They told me March 30 is when mine will be published that way. I have trouble finding my way around it, and I was happy the way it was, but I suppose I will adjust. If I don't, I will just stay confused.
It is entirely possible that I will just stay confused.
Maybe you need an armadillo-chasing dog, Lolly.
I think maybe I'll just go to timeline soon and try to figure it out...or I will just be CLEAR
LOLLY.....you are NOT to work yourself into a painful state tomorrow, got it?
Remember to light a candle and say a prayer for Lynn♥
oooooo....YES, and Daisy would be a PERFECT armadillo chasing dog!
A question--which would do more damage to the yard, Daisy or an armadillo????
Good question!!! I have no idea! Probably Daisy as it would be year round going after moles. Armadillos do give us a break in the winter. roflmbo 4th good nite!
SHIRLEY with the new time line, to get to your news feed, clcik on HOME on the upper right hand corner. They don't tell you that, and I kept reading only my own posts and not seeing anyone else's till I figured it out!!!Upper right hand cornere is a good place to explore...
Belle is still not brooding. still sitting next to 7:30 facing eleven. I saw her reaching in the cup a little while ago and now she is tucked in.
Steve and CO. saw a dead armadillo on the side of the road in South Carolina. I am trying not to have hurt feelings that he didn't stop and bring it back for me. That would certainly have been an interesting addition to my skull collection.
♫ ♪ hey hey Paula...♫ ♪ (remember that song?) you still here or are you ♫ walkin' in the sand ♫
Thanks for sharing TJ's info in the mail....very interesting stuff!
Looks like we are in for a cooler, soggy weekend in these parts. YUK!
LYNNE I have to admit I am with STEVE on that one, carrying a dead armadillo in the trunk of the car with the suit cases would be odd, probably stunk to high heaven also!!!LOL Give him a break on that one!!!
heading to bed. Good night and prayers for all!
Belle has moved up on the cup and is now brooding...I wonder if the rain is starting?
LOL Hoda! My MIL would have killed him!
Goodnight LYNNE think fewer stink bugs with the cold weather...
HODA, my dear, if you are still up, can you direct me to Lolly's pictures of her visit with Andy and Ken?
On her blog "Eagle and Panda Pictures," Wanda.
WANDA LOLLY and ANDY'S 2 pictures are in Eagles and Panda's blog.
She also has one on facebook.
WANDA LOLLY's blog eagles and Panda's
...Blog hopping again!
JUDIE...in answer to your question about Family Friday; yes, it did take place, Jayden was more laughs than a barrel of monkies...his vocabulary is hysterical, but some things he says perfectly:)
I put GG's patch on her shoulder and she had no pills. By the time we left, she still had no pain! Oh, so anxious to see how she fares over the weekend. I did leave her one emergency pill in a draw. She knows to go there ONLY in an emergency (VERY BAD PAIN)
Doctor said she should not need any pain pills as long as she wears this patch! I pray that it works~
Bedtime...
GOOD NIGHT DEAR FRIENDS
SWEET DREAMS
PRAYERS FOR ALL
LYNN♥
Thank you Hoda♥
Andy, hope your visit with Lolly was a fun one...she is a fun Southern Belle:)
Good late night or early morning!! I am at work for my 4 hr stint. LOL
Mom was feeling very weak and puny. :(
Hi ANDY why are you still up? Is it not getting late and you are travelling tomorrow?
Thanks CAROLYN...She did answer LOLLY's text to her...
PRAYERS are going up for strength for your dear MOM...
Maybe no phone call means she is resting comfortably...she can eat tomorrow when she wakes up in the morning...just thinking
Oh, I did not realize how late it has gotten.
Thanks for the information on your mom, Jewels. I hope tomorrow is better. Prayers.
My brain is wearing down for the day.
I will see you tomorrow. Good night and God bless.
Goodnight SHIRLEY. Sleep well . See you in the morning...
I so pray that she can eat in the morning and she has some strength back. I will be going over in the morning hours and then will have to leave to take my girls to a babyshower of a friend of theirs. She was married last summer and now she is having a baby. She is all grown up and is going to be a beautiful mother.
Belle is brooding and she is wide awake, her head is up looking towards ten
CAROLYN you have daughters who are old enough to have a friend with a baby shower? How old are your girls? You do not look old enough to have teena ge d daughters or older...NO WAY JOSE!!!
Goodnight Carolyn.
Goodnight all.
PRAYERS♥
BRB...
Hoda,
We are traveling tomorrow, but our plane doesn't take off until 12:40 pm, so don't have to get up super early in the morning.
Know I've missed two days of you all a nd your lives.. :( Hope all are well and I pray for any in need.
Heading back to the pillows now, and shutting down before storm worsens.
TTFN.
Goodnight my sweet mother!!
Feeling as good as I can be although... I even had a shortnap before I cam ein at midnight. Has been relatively easy tonight. Bars were quiet. Good to see my Mom on here! She called me just a few min ago as well. She sounded so much better than earlier. :)
Time to wrap it up// have a good rest of your night, sleep well my friends.
Good morning, for a little while any way!
Storms passing through here are loud and with heavy rain. Sounds like buckets. I woke up thinking of the eagles!
Morning DanaMo! No rain here yet, but it's coming. Nice of you to do happy hour at your house yesterday - how did it go?
Lynne 2 glad to hear about Wendy, hopefully she is on her way to recovery.
Andy-glad you are home safe and sound.
Still trying to catch up...
>>> ♥ <<<
Good morning, DanaMo and Sandy!
I hope Jewels is in bed, snoring away by now. :)
LYNN, great to see you got to feeling better in the middle of the night! ♥
Stinkbugs, UGH!
I think I've discovered that leaving lights off at night definitely helps. I don't know if they go to the heat of the light bulb or the light itself, but there's fewer in the bathroom without even the little night-light on.
Good Morning Eagle Pals ☺
Thinking of Lynn ♥
My morning is off to a Much Better Start
now that I have seen posts from Jewels AND Lynn ☺♥

I had a stinkbug in my car trying to hitchhike back to my roost from Swinging Bridge....last night
didn't work out for the critter

Sounds like a beautiful week-end coming for you Sandi...

Have a great day, MARGY!
We'll have wet eagles in the nest today:
Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. High near 65.
Chance of precipitation is 100%.
New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Thanks Lori
Maybe the eaglets aka peaglets as Paula calls them...will be more tented than scrambling today.
guess it's shoes and socks for me today
xoxo
☺ ♥ (( All-Day Hugs ))
Sorry I left for awhile, tried to go back to sleep but it didn't work out. Cuddling with the labs was nice though.
Yes, Sandi, I don't think most people know how demanding our jobs are. I live for summer! Even then though I find myself gathering, preparing, researching etc...Yet I get teased when I am relaxing around the pool about my "rough" life!
Two labs look so cute right now. Both are sitting on the deck with their heads between the rails surveying their world!
Very cool story Sandi. Makes it all worth while (being most influential teacher).
Belle looks WET! It poured here between 4-5am.
SHEP HAS DELIVERED AT LEAST ONE GOOD SIZE FISH TO THE NEST.
GOOD MORNING EAGKE BUDS WOS OVER120 comments to read since last nite chatty bunch so I best get to it
LYNNE2 so glad you are enjoying my video I was wondering if anyone watches them
GREAT news about WENDY also sound like she is headed in the right direction
A and B are wrestling!!
Shep arrives - little fish, still flipping around!!
Shep pulled out the feathery thing that was delivered yesterday and started nibbling, til Belle decided it was hers! Now, Belle is back at 12 and Shep is standing in the pantry.
Shep poofed - Belle is plucking!
Chicklets are waiting patiently but looking hungry while belle continues to pluck feathers! Now feeding the babes.
Good morning everybody. I just had Mr. and Mrs. Cowbird out here this morning.
I see the eaglets are getting fed and the pantry has been restocked with fish. Way to go, Shep!
Belle was just building up the walls of the crib. She wants no problems with them today!
Good morning Sharon and Judy!
All caught up boy that took a while now I need to go get dressed for work
I thought Shep was around when she called out just now guess not
I am signing off - will be able to check my emails from my ancient cell as we drive to and from, but will not be able to post, unless I can jump on Mom's computer this evening.
Sharon, if we get a new thread today and if you remember my username and password, do me a favor and subscribe me to the new thread. Thanks!
I'll "see" everyone when I can. Lynn, hope you feel up to blogging today!
Have a great weekend eagle friends - stay dry!
Have a great time, Sandi! Be safe.
Good morning!
Gotta go to work DRAT syl
Good fine morning my eagle peeps!
Hi
Hello
Good Morning
WE ARE GOING TO SPLIT SOON....
#400 IS COMING UP
XOXO
Good morning to those here & those still to come.
I have an eagle question for those in the know . . . how do the nests come about. Does an eagle start a nest before breeding maturity, or after they pair up? What does a first year nest look like - quite small? I'm as impressed with the nests, as I am with the eagles.
Good morning again. More decent an hour, huh?
Sandi, have a grand day. SOunds very special.
Hi, T-bird!
Paula, very interesting account from TJ. Thanks for sharing!
An early morning bath (5am) helped me get back to s leep until 8!! Just ate, and now trying to look at paper. Can't wait for the new glasses!
Shep obviously had a very good AM on the river!
My "red hyacinths" are in bloom...very diappointing....not red like in pics, just a very deep pink. :(
Good Morning Hedgie....☺ ♥
well, the feeding is going on at the nest...rather....
colorful....
xoxo
SPLIT !!
C/A, I'm sure Paula can answer your question. I suspect a female starts building when she nears maturity and keeps at it, and then when a male enters the picture they work on it together.
