Snow has stopped, for the moment, here in Nestville. Doppler Radar shows more snow on the way...in Morgantown right now.We need Dana 2 to check in and let us know how much snow they have there. 5 to 8 inches expected here, before all said and done. Glad I got GG's extra meds and food fixed up yesterday! Told her to stay in the house and not to look for me til Thursday.
Hopefully get a chance to run to the store between this round and the big round later today. Got laundry done. Getting ready to make some Chicken Nooodle soup.
Dana2, I just emailed you on FB how to do it....every time I try to explain it on here, I end up making links to nowhere. Hopefully it will come through on your message, NOT as a link! Let me know
I watched a squirrel checking out my feeder and then leaving. It would be interesting if that feeder really does prevent squirrels from getting to the seeds.
I have an ear of corn out for the squirrels. They have not been forgotten.
It was very nice when the phone rang again and I learned I have the whole day off. Kind expected that to happen, of course. They said it was because of road conditions in the northern part of the county.
M-m-m good food....Just had me a can of good ol' Chef Boyardee Ravioli. Haven't had it in years. It just jumped out at me last week at the store....now wish I had gotten more than 1 can!!!
Ha, ha, Hedgie. I don't think I've had the ravioli since the 50's, but I recently bought some spaghetti on sale and enjoyed it much more than I thought I would. Just add a little salt and pepper, and it perks the flavor right up...I was surprised.
A bit earlier today my weather alarm went off screaming at me, and I rushed off to shut it down, stepped on poor George's foot which caused him to yelp and jump around, which caused me to step on his tail. George yelped again and ran under the table.
I cam back to find a tuft of cat hair on the floor and gave George a little extra love. He has recovered. Poor kitty. But none of us wanted to keep hearing that alarm.
Loud claps of thunder awhile ago, some sleet and rain. The Channel 10 weather guy said we had some hail down here, too. I don't think I saw hail, but maybe it was hail rather than sleet.
Sharon, Mai won't stop jumping and biting me and tearing my clothes. She is scaring me badly. I'm afraid that if she knocks me down, she will tear me to pieces. Having to keep her on leash or in crate except when outside. She has become vicious and mean and we don't know why. As long as she's on the leash, she's pretty dolcile. Trying to play with her with toys seems to incite her, as well as trying to make her mind when she does something wrong. Well housebroken. LEarning her puppy lessons well. I can touch her while she eats, and even take dish away. Just don't understand.
SHirley, go NOW....the Weather Channel is now urging businesses in the area to let people go home right now. Please be very careful...it's going to a very heavy wet snow.
Just called Steve's work...he is out on a freakin' run because someone didn't show today. UGH.
Who else is out and about....we need to say a collective prayer for everyone's safe travels.
Great pic of the cubby, Lynne----I think the 2nd one shows to the left, doesn't it?
Shirley, hope that Hunter is nearby. BE CAREFUL!
Lynne, hope that Steve gets home safely.
Zoo closed, so Mits did not have to go in. Suzanne stayed home today and worked from the library. Carolyn is going to call to have a deputy pick her up tonight for work cause Charlie's 4-wheel drive is not working.
Ice pellets here for a while, also. Now, a very fine snow coming down pretty hard. Hope you can keep the greenhouse cleared without too much back breaking work, Megan!
I have a poor little almost blind female house finch here today. She must be able to see some, because she gets from the tree to the feeder. I can't really tell if she has Mycoplasmal Conjuctivitis, something that happens in HFs. But I suspect that's what it is. Poor little thing...
WHOA, just saw lightning, here's the thunder....and her comes terrified Daisy. No snow here yet but rain.
I brought the extra comforters in from the laundry room, and some extra pet blankets in case we loose power tonight. Have lantern and flashlights ready.
Just cannot understand all the flack about the flugg! Doesn't everyone have flack with their flugg?
We are home, obviously. Got my "do" done while Darth hunted and gathered groceries. Heat and electricity still on - thanks to the electric powers that be.
Heavy snow here now. Thunder and lightening and then a very quick and heavy beginning. Lots of strong winds.
MT nest except for some snow.
Happy the LOC Cooper's has been rescued. Said to be dehydrated but will be okay for release.
Wanda, glad you got GG taken care of ahead of time. She'll be fine.
Poor George. Shirley, I think several doses of extra love are in order -- maybe for you both. Safe travel when you go to get Hunter.
Lynne2, sorry Steve is out and hope he makes a quick return home
Megan, sending a HUGH prayer that you don't have to sweep off the greenhouse.
Safe travels for Margie and Carolyn.
Going to elevate foot. Please stay safe and warm everyone. Anyone heard from Paula?
Hello Everyone! Hope you're all tucked in cozy. Heard sleet balls hitting window at work at 4PM, so got out of Dodge!!!Was doing stuff I like, too. It was a mix on the trip home of sleet, rain & big snowflakes. Road not real frozen yet, but was tough getting up hill to my driveway. I'm in & cancelled Dr. appt. for TH. Whew! Don't go out!
The weather guy said it was winding down here but it is still snowing pretty good here in Bluefield!! Tom is still at work in Princeton and of course I am worrying about him!
Did hear thunder at work a couple hours ago. Nobody out but those ducks today. Half of pond is thawed where geese spend the night. None of them there either.
HI! I had my feet up and then I was looking out the window and got mesmerized by that white stuff and couldn't move except to check in and praise the higher being that NO EGG is in that nest.......
I'm reading and see that you are all accounted for except Paula...
Just saw Lynne's cub picture. Hard to believe they've grown that much in a few days!!!!Adorable.Great capture. Altho, I need to finish housework tomorrow, it's gonna be hard to stay away from Bear Cam!!
Judie, trainer had some ideas, but can't fully evaluate until she comes and sees it first-hand. Thinks it could be some boredom issues, or it could be just an excessive need for attention......all possibly stemming from being part of a large litter with constant company. MTBR.
Glad that Steve got off early, Lynne. So we are still waiting for him, Kat and Paula.......not sure if Dana2 got off early---she had posted on FB that WVU cancelled classes early this afternoon.
Our local weathermen are in hiding today. They had all forcast several inches of snow for North Alabama and we only got a couple of flakes. Guess it's all up NCTC way now. Nest looks cold and snowcovered. I heard from a little birdie that Lib and Belle have been making eggs. It won't be long now. See ya later
US Airways says a plane made an emergency landing in Virginia after being struck... by lightning. The plane was en route from Charlotte to Lynchburg, VA when it was hit. The pilot declared an emergency and landed without incident. 16 people were on board, no injuries were reported.
Sorry, had to walk outside to the gh. That will happen until it stops snowing, so if I don't answer you, that's why. Snow is too heavy and coming down so fast, that we will have to keep sweeping it off. It is coming down fast, 2" to 3" an hour easily.
Hmmm, Lynn? How about a four-legged playmate for Mai? Could be Mai and Tai. Seriously, I do truly hope the problems can be resolved quickly and easily.
Hi Lowreeda. Tomorrow might be a good day for housework if you have to stay inside anyway. 'Course, I would just find a nice mystery and stay in bed.
Hey Jo. Stay inside and enjoy the snow from inside. Boy, would this be a great night for bacon pasta? Well, going to settle for Darth's steak and baked potato.
No, Lynne. No pictures. Don't want to be deleted from the blog. No real change. Just got too long for short hair. It was a cut-or-grow decision.
Hate looking at the nest. So reminds me of last year and those I memories I can do without. Pray Belle is going to wait out the storm.
I had a delicious bowl of Beef Stew! Really really good!
Hello Red - Yepper we're getting hit hard with the snow. We thought Spring was around the corner, you know.. Hope you are doing well - Remember, No Snow Shoveling!
Good! Paula is home, Kathryn almost home. Still waiting on Steve....the beltway has gone completely to H**L since he left work, and that's the EASY part of his drive.
OMG! Look at the snow in the nest! Have read your comments too. OMG! Jack and I have been working in the yard. Had just a sweatshirt on with my jeans and got hot. It is presently 57, Laurel said it got up into the 60's. We are beginning to see the end of the leaf raking. Yea!
Well, I do hope you all keep your electricity. Enjoy your day of no work tomorrow or going any where. When is the snow supposed to stop?
It's good to hear that our Flock is home and safe, except for a few...Margy, where are you, Dana, check in with us! Sorry if I missed you! I was just talking with my granddaughter and the firestation suddenly lost power. Scary to think of a Firestation being without communication. Jillian said they can take emergency calls over their cell phones and pagers.
Glad to hear Paula and Steve got home. Is Kathryn still out? Went out for a second & snow is real wet and heavy, just smashes right down under your feet. Small flakes, but coming down to beat the band. They say around DC, the heavier stuff should diminish 11 PM-12 M. Friends in Paw Paw now have 7.5" snow! Judie, you lucky duck---got your haircut today. I wanted to go tomorrow after Dr. appt. NOT any of the above!
Meant to say Hello to Red!!!Glad 'Bama didn't get this stuff. South has gotten a lot this winter. Saw DIL and son over weekend. They are in mid-TN. Said theey've had quite a bit & everything shuts down---not enough plows, but some did come from other states. TV weather is warning about heavy snow on tree limbs and wires. Could be some power loss.
Good snowy evening everyone. I hope all are home now and safe. What a storm you are having and thank goodness no eggs in nest to worry over. I am praying that you do not lose power.
Judie, it is wonderful that you are walking with a cane. I know you thought this time would never come but you persevered. YAY!
Lynne, great photo of baby cub. Glad your man made it home.
Lynn, I am concerned about you asnd Mai. Please be careful. Have you tried a squirt bottle of water? Maybe a spray in the face will detract her long enough for you to be safe.
yeah, driveway not plowed. Steve was stuck and it took 15 minutes of digging and pushing to get him up the driveway. But, he's home. And I'll be taking to the heating pad later....
Wanda I believe Jillian could be very busy tonight..can they get their bay doors open? lots are electric these days, can be tough to open those doors manually !
Prayers for her safety during emergency calls tonight
Needless to say, puppy class was NOT held tonight....not that we would have gone even if it was!! Major roads are shut down all over the place. What a mell of a hess.
due in for midnight shift, very grateful I have not gotten called in early...yet... will have a pile of snow to brush off the Blazer. Serious, dangerous storming out there
Lynn, I'd say it's about as long as yours is from your road to your garage, up a slight hill. The Saturn has front wheel drive, but it sits really low.

My office mate just commented "Look , it's snowing snowballs!" It's pretty wild
It's ok Dana2 You keep your big huge flacks cause I only have small tiny flicks to deal with right now.
Raining here and fluctuating between 36 and 37°.
BBILW Need to take my meds even though I know Laughter is the best medicine......
Good Morning! Well, depends on how you look at it I guess!
We had about 2" on the ground this morning. Then it rained. Then it snowed. Then it rained. Then it snowed. Now it is "snaining".
The L of C hawk has been captured!
L of C Hawk Update
the dogs had great fun running the snow field this morning! I got the patio and walkways shoveled. It is HEAVY snow.
can someone tell me how to add a link to this blog? I forgot how to do it
Hopefully get a chance to run to the store between this round and the big round later today. Got laundry done. Getting ready to make some Chicken Nooodle soup.

you're welcome Dana
Looked like that for a while here this morning, too!
both eagles in the nest
Video only lasted about 2 seconds and then went all green and yellow funk! Not looking too bad there yet.
Some how missed the call over. Been over there talking to myself.
Thanks Lynn.
Both eagles now!
You gotta love Mo-Town! Anthing can happen here :)
Loved that video, Dana. Do LOVE Morgantown. Use to visit the Elks Lodge there often when Capt. Gene was Exhalted Ruler.
Geez, Hope is going to town nursing.
Have a good day all...try not to get hit by flacks, flicks or anything else that's falling out of the sky :)
my little lost Chipping Sparrow is still here! And a flock of Grackles.
OK road has been plowed and salted, temp over freezing....think I venture out to the store in a few minutes. BBL
What a tangle of bears. Always so hard to figure out who is who and in what position.
OH, he has a friend...I've got 2 on the feeder right now!
There IS an eagle in our nest....left...and came back
was...in the nest......and all gone now I think, my live feed is stalling and stopping a lot
Be Careful out there, slippery as can be around here.
car all covered up with plastic...might save me some work later if we get that heavy snow this afternoon.
Uniqueie Eagle Rock signing off.
Best wishes for a good day
....Sleep time here !
xo ♥
Just got a quick peek at little cubbies. Saw two but could have been more.
Leaving to eat breakfast. It is up to 46 and we will be going outside soon. Hopefully my back will allow it.
Have a great day!
Wren just arrived.
Eagle in the nest with a log.
Eagle flew in- moving sticks
Both in the nest now
Looks as though Belle is fluffing up the fluff!
ROFL at those two! Belle tugged at the limb and knocked Lib right off his perch
Missed that, Jo! They have the egg cup cleaned out!
Just talked to another trainer (local) who will probably be coming Friday. She gave me some insight and tips, but she, too, is concerned.
Gotta get some chow!
Lynne, please be careful.
LOL, the hawk in the L-of-C was nicknamed SWELL. ?????Don't get that!
Good afternoon!
I pretty much slept the morning away. I guess I needed to do that.
Just learned that the LOC hawk has been captured and sent to the Raptor Conservancy of Virginia. They will release it from there.
Oh, I see I'm not the first one with the news about the hawk.
Maybe after the hawk was discovered, they all stood there saying "well, isn't that just swell".
I watched a squirrel checking out my feeder and then leaving. It would be interesting if that feeder really does prevent squirrels from getting to the seeds.
I have an ear of corn out for the squirrels. They have not been forgotten.
Sharon, you probably got that right!!!
Shirley, glad you got some extra zzzzzz's!
It was very nice when the phone rang again and I learned I have the whole day off. Kind expected that to happen, of course. They said it was because of road conditions in the northern part of the county.
No snow on the ground here yet. But I think something is coming down out there.
Just noticed that Hunter has already been dismissed. I am supposed to go pick him up. He'll be at the sitters soon if not already.
M-m-m good food....Just had me a can of good ol' Chef Boyardee Ravioli. Haven't had it in years. It just jumped out at me last week at the store....now wish I had gotten more than 1 can!!!

It's very cool for our So Cal blood this A.M., but I bet you don't want to hear about it.
[:~D] Jim
Whoops, I was looking at the wrong information. Hunter hasn't gotten out yet. It I thought kathryn would have contacted me.
At this point, it is just wet and cold here.
Ha, ha, Hedgie. I don't think I've had the ravioli since the 50's, but I recently bought some spaghetti on sale and enjoyed it much more than I thought I would. Just add a little salt and pepper, and it perks the flavor right up...I was surprised.
[:~D] Jim
I saw two little cubs! Also Hope licking Lily. Lily can use a little love.
Wind is starting to pick up. Heading out to work on the big deck before the next snow band comes thru'. Thunder snow in the forecast, too.
Hedgie, what are the issues that are concerning you and the trainer?
1/2 done. Drizzling. Wet snow....not a good sign, especially with wind.....praying that power stays on!
It's frizzlowing here now. freezing rain-drizzle-snow.....not nice! Deck is finished. Mai has been out---decided she didn't like getting pelted!!
BEAR CUBS!
WOW awesome, just got a great view of both cubbies! Got a pic, can only see one though...will post on blog
OK, picture is on!
wish I had been fast enough to get both in the shot!
several folks on Lily's FB site got shots with both!
Beautiful capture, Lynne. Perfect little bear cub there.
Jack Hannah is going to be on The Talk shortly.
Watching for Jack.
Thunder!!!
Lights flickering.
Oh dear!!!
Oh, my. Weather report now says 5-10 inches. Perhaps an emergency trip to the grocery store is in order. Might want a few more fire logs.
Nest doesn't look terribly inviting, does it? Hope the egg-laying instinct feels the same!
Tub is filled. Fire is going. Guess I'm prepared for all eventualities.
Jack Hanna is on The Talk (CBS) with a pelican!
oh Shirley, you have THUNDER? Is it snowing there? I don't see it on the radar.....WOWO!
oooo a brown black bear with JJH
I just love Betty White!
Loud claps of thunder awhile ago, some sleet and rain. The Channel 10 weather guy said we had some hail down here, too. I don't think I saw hail, but maybe it was hail rather than sleet.
oh goodness, I see the Weather Channel is having data problems, just looked at NOAA radar and it does look scarier near Shirley....
Just don't understand.
oh geez, they are now saying the snow will start fast and heavy around 4pm here. Up to 2" an hour. I sure wish Steve wasn't still at work.
Ice pellets for a while, now it is snowing really hard here.
I will go pick Hunter up from the sitter soon. Do no want Kathryn to have to pick him up after dark today.
Do not want Kathryn to have to pick Hunter up after dark.
I have a dozen juncos and a red-headed woodpecker on the corn along with a lone squirrel.
Snowing heavily now.
Hope Judie and Darth are home by now.
PAULA-----are you heading home early???
Lynne, Betty White and Jack Hanna are the two funniest personalities, and I love seeing them on talk shows!!! My favs!! The animals were all lovely!
Ice pellets here for a while, also. Now, a very fine snow coming down pretty hard. Hope you can keep the greenhouse cleared without too much back breaking work, Megan!
Topper Shutt is calling for 5 to 8 inches here in Nestville and others are saying 11 inches! Sooo glad we don't have an egg!
Love Betty White...didn't know she was 89! Hope I am that spry at that age (hope I live to that age).
was Margy working today? No, I think she is going in tonight. UGH.
Kathryn says Hunter gets to the sitter at 4:00. It has started sleeting here now. Yuck. She said it is getting really bad in Triangle, where she is.
Not too far to Hunter's location. Some winding roads, though.
I hope to be as lively as Betty White when and if I get to be 89.
Dana wasn't going out today was she?
I expect to have paper-grading time again tomorrow.
Some snowflakes coming down now.
I did not want to have to brave the craziness at the school to pick him up there, but am not going to waste time getting out of here now.
I think Hunter and I will have tomorrow together at the house.
Maybe Kathryn can leave a little early today. I hope so. I would like to see her home before darkness falls.
Federal government got released early.
Prayers Shirley, for your travels and Kathryn's.
Drive slowly, Shirley. Hope that Kat gets home soon, too.
It's a white-out here, Can't even see out to the road.
Hope everyone gets home safely soon. It is snowing really hard here now, we are going to be in some heavy bands of snow for a while now.
I'm in and ok as far as driving goes not doing any.
Dang snow just keeps on coming...
Little Man has had a bad morning health wise and the snow on the porch isn't helping me any. We are hanging in there. Sticking with my dog.
Extra pot of tea brewed. Cell charging. I was a good Girl Scout!
Praying for Shirley to get Hunter safely.
Prayers for Judie and Darth, Margy, Carolyn, Shirley's Kathryn, and any others out there that need to get to where they need to be.
Megan......what's happening???? Are the heaters melting the snow off the GH?
Just changed to snow about 5 minutes ago and it is snowing so hard....road getting covered already. Wish Steve was home.
Prayers for Lynne2's Steve and I am wondering about Paula and Megan's Russ.
Just cannot understand all the flack about the flugg! Doesn't everyone have flack with their flugg?
We are home, obviously. Got my "do" done while Darth hunted and gathered groceries. Heat and electricity still on - thanks to the electric powers that be.

Megan, sending a HUGH prayer that you don't have to sweep off the greenhouse.
Safe travels for Margie and Carolyn.
Going to elevate foot. Please stay safe and warm everyone. Anyone heard from Paula?
BBL
Prayers for Andy and her clan
Lynn, any specific ideas from the trainer you spoke with?
Where's Jo?
Really, off to elevate foot and take a pill.
Hello Everyone! Hope you're all tucked in cozy. Heard sleet balls hitting window at work at 4PM, so got out of Dodge!!!Was doing stuff I like, too. hmmm...Paula hasn't checked in since we got the new thread, at least...
Glad you are home Loretta!
Balto beltway looks clear and not much traffic at the moment. DC beltway has some snow and bumper to bumper. (I have discover Traffic Cams)
4" new junk.......argh! Hear the wind on the cam??
Good evening Eagle buds!! I am so grateful there is not an egg in that snowy nest!!
The weather guy said it was winding down here but it is still snowing pretty good here in Bluefield!! Tom is still at work in Princeton and of course I am worrying about him!
no posts from Paula since her comment a little after 10 last night about Judie's boo boo.
Fubby talked to our friends in Paw Paw and they had 5" then.
Only critters I saw having fun today was a hooded merganser pair in the pond. Diving down & having a good old time. Must have thought they were in FL!
Lynne, I've see finches and sparrows w/that eye disease. Very sad, but they try to get around as best they can.
Good to hear that you are both safe, Judie and Loretta!
Dana, what's up with Andy????
Did hear thunder at work a couple hours ago. Nobody out but those ducks today. Half of pond is thawed where geese spend the night. None of them there either.
Our power keeps flickering off and on, hope it don't go completely. Over 7000 in Mercer County without a power right now.
I don't know Lynn-Hedgie but isn't she in school and will need to get home?
Prayers for Sissy's Tom.
Steve on the way home!
Loretta, the eyes are not ulcerated, but one can barely be seen the other isn't much better. Took pics, will post later.
Glad you and the Hunter Gatherer are home Judie. Going to take a picture of your new DO for us?
HI! I had my feet up and then I was looking out the window and got
mesmerized by that white stuff and couldn't move except to check in and praise the higher being that NO EGG
is in that nest.......
I'm reading and see that you are all
accounted for except Paula...
WOW I cannot believe how hard it is snowing.
I-81 shut down one direction due to wreck.
Kathryn left work early, but is having a hard time making her way home. She had to drop off a co-worker on the way.
Looks windy at the nest.
I left to pick up Hunter and came right back home. The roads got much worse while I was out. Very happy to be home.
Stay safe.
I need to get up and do something to distract me from worry.
I agree Jo...SO glad there is no egg, especially with how WET this snow is. I sure hope the tree is up to it....
Glad you and Hunter are home Shirl, anxious to hear when Kathryn arrives.
Hunter came home and immediately did his homework. I am impressed.
8-10 vehicles involved.
Gosh everyone stay in and stay warm and safe. I too am so thankful that our belle is not in that nest on an egg.
Roads are covered with snow. I am very glad to have gotten Hunter home.
Kathryn wanted to know if we need anything. I cannot think of a thing. We just need everyone safely here.
Dana, Andy lives in sunny California. Her classes are at night. Who are you thinking of???
Just saw Lynne's cub picture. Hard to believe they've grown that much in a few days!!!!Adorable.Great capture. Altho, I need to finish housework tomorrow, it's gonna be hard to stay away from Bear Cam!!

Sorry, had to walk outside to the gh. That will happen until it stops snowing, so if I don't answer you, that's why.
Snow is too heavy and coming down so fast, that we will have to keep sweeping it off. It is coming down fast, 2" to 3" an hour easily.
Wish we could all rush out and help you, Megan.
Hadn't seen the story about the plane, Lynne. Unusual for a lightning strike to happen in January, but I certainly heard thunder.
Time to fix supper. Kathryn is almost here.
Hi Red, nice to have you visit.
I'm sorry, Megan. Wish I could help.
Yup, Steve, saw it all today...snow, rain, sleet, snow.
Safely home, think we closed and I left just in time....road was slushy and snowy, but doable.
I had a delicious bowl of Beef Stew!
Really really good!
Hello Red - Yepper we're getting hit hard with the snow. We thought Spring was around the corner, you know..
Hope you are doing well - Remember, No Snow Shoveling!
Good that you're home without incident.
By now the roads are probably not doable.
Good! Paula is home, Kathryn almost home. Still waiting on Steve....the beltway has gone completely to H**L since he left work, and that's the EASY part of his drive.
Bev just posted that Tom is home too!
Lynne, loved the picture of the cub. So cute!
power is flickering....UGH.
So glad to hear the LOC hawk was captured! Swell!? LOL
I don't mind seeing the snow on the nest.,..we don't have any eggs in there.
Dana, hoped to hear Little Man was doing better, sorry to hear he's having a bad day.
ah, see Shirley gets a couple of play days!
Dog have been out and played in the snow, eaten and now going back out.
Not sure if I am going to shovel tonight or save it all for tomorrow.
Lynne, great pic of the cubby. Glad Steve is on his way home.
Steve is home, don't think he can get up the drive. But he's home! BBL
Glad everyone is reporting in. Waiting to hear Steve is home with Lynne.
Great!!!!
I'm closing down for the night.
Too much snow everywhere around here.
Can't even clear an area for my poor doggie. grrrrrrrrrr
Stay safe everyone
Tonight at 9 is Criminal Minds and then at 10 is Blue Bloods (as long as the power stays on)
Megan hope your gh is staying heated and some of this snow melts off for you and Russ.
Boy is it nasty out there!
Since most of you are here and before I put out the email for FEB B-days here it is so far.....
1st Gloria Keeslar
6th Sandra Osbourn
8th Jill Bishop
13th Mattie Jane Keesler
14th Valentines day ♥
Let me know if I need to add anyone for Feb. b-day or Anniversay.......
Glad everyone has checked in...and glad to see Dana, Red and Suzan on here as well!
dinnertime!
Welcome BEagle! very pleased you are home safe and sound. Aren't you glad you have a new furnace? Hope you didn't have too far to travel!
Now I think that all birds are in the nest.
been missing you Suzan..good when the peeps check in
just checked through seems like the travelers are done travelin...for now
Comforting to read those words that one has returned home to his or her roost
xo
Paula, relieved that you are home. Lynne, how long is your driveway?
Megan, wish I had a miracle solution to the greenhouse problem.
Wanda
I believe Jillian could be very busy tonight..can they get their bay doors open? lots are electric these days, can be tough to open those doors manually !
Prayers for her safety during emergency calls tonight
Kathryn is safely home--on nerves of steel and 4-wheel drive, according to her.
Yes, I sure wish we could help out with Megan and the greenhouse...
'cause, we sure benefit from what goes on in that greenhouse for sure...
and, just because !
Hedgie...
has Carolyn called in to set up her transportation?
Needless to say, puppy class was NOT held tonight....not that we would have gone even if it was!!
Major roads are shut down all over the place. What a mell of a hess.
due in for midnight shift, very grateful I have not gotten called in early...yet...
will have a pile of snow to brush off the Blazer.
Serious, dangerous storming out there
Lady Blackwater is all tented out on her nest, and BWO is "unreadable"
Wanda....Margy is sleeping! She goes in at MN.
one "do" got done, one cancelled...
and Loretta and I will try for tomorrow !
Might they send someone in a 4-wheel drive vehicle to pick you up, Margy?
Uniqueie Eagle Rock is here.
Not sure about those new names, two co-workers that invented that have even more unusual ones
will write them down and tell you tomorrow
Glad Kathryn is home!
Lynn, I'd say it's about as long as yours is from your road to your garage, up a slight hill. The Saturn has front wheel drive, but it sits really low.
Or maybe you have 4-wheel drive?
Shirley
I have four wheel drive and only about three miles to go...
only got hung up on high snow in the road one time last year...should be okay
maybe Diann PaNana will check in and tell us about her weather, and if her Jim is back at the roost...
hope so !
although snow-covered, our nest really looks beautiful !
Oh, Margy, see that you are awake!!
Haven't heard from Carolyn. Will text Charlie and see what's up.
Suzan, have used the squirt bottle---doesn't phase her. I am worried about me, too.....and her. Thanks for your concern.
Cool to see Red, even tho' it was a short visit.
Gotta go put wood on the fire.
Split is coming very soon...
don't anyone get lost
us mother hens would worry
Yah Lynn..
if she has not called, she should do that soon as she can
guess I should get candles and flashlights out just in case we lose power
Wanda
GG doing okay?
Lots eagles at Sutton nests - well one at each nest
I almost lost my footing since I didn't even see the Split coming.
