Leave in about an hour and a half for 10 year old basketball game. Also anxious to see Jacob minus a front tooth. Going to be a good day! Time to get out of the house.
Went to Sutton, OK cam and found this..............................................21 January 2011: We are bringing a second eagle nest online thanks to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and Sequoyah National Wildlife Refuge near Vian, Oklahoma! Eggs are currently being incubated at the Sequoyah nest, and should hatch in early February. Please bear with us over the coming week as we try to work out some technical difficulties.
I could not get the cam up, but it looks promising. Just go to the OK sight that you already have and it is there.
Lily the Black Bear Twitter update on bearstudy by Sue "Any doubt about the # of cubs Lily gave birth to has been put to rest. We clearly heard one new cub squawking and new one cub nursing! "
Loretta thanks for the little glowing eyes, great pics. I don't believe Hope is in the way...I believe Lily can handle it all. After all it is all in Gods plan for a bear.
Just as God made the plan for how the eagle treats its young and feeds them....the later makes them leave the nest.
I prefer Gods plan and not mans. Man (some humans) would have taken Hope away from Lily when Lily got pregrant with cubs. I'll take with Gods plan.
Took off the back...did you see the leaves in the nest blow around? He went up into the tree, could see the tree shake....heard a small sound, but not very loud when he landed :(
Looks like we are back to the drawing board with Brother and his, uh...issues. He's supposed to be eating ONLY special food, but yesterday I forgot to put the braunschweiger away after I made my lunch and that little B*****D got right up on the counter when my back was turned and grabbed it and ran. Had himself a nice little snack before I could get it away from him.
the feel of temperature is so relative....we were in Terra Alta in June. It was really hot here, but gorgeous and 75 there that Saturday. We were SOOOO comfy! My MIL, on the other hand, was running around in shorts and a tank top saying it was too hot. My SIL, up from FLA, was on the patio with sweats on saying how cold it was!! It was just SO Goldilocks and the Three Bears.
BEagle, the cat is a Freakshow in a Fur Jumpsuit. The stories I could tell.... Yesterday, I left and UNOPENED can of frosting on the counter. Steve found him, with the can, on the living room floor trying to eat through it. He's a mess!
We have always been fortunate with Annie. She is not a jumper. It is almost like she is afraid to jump. Our bed is way high and it is sometimes very challenging for her to get up there. She goes to the cedar chest to jump over. She has to work up her nerve to jump.
Lynne, I have the same kind of dietary issues with George. He is supposed to be on his special diet, but he is always stealing dog food, which causes him problems.
We have to protect the dogs from George attack. He will intimidate them and take the food right from the dog dish.
Nugz and Boo always go thru Michael's bag in his room when he comes home. Last time Michael was here, Boo found a Pringles can, and snuck off with it...was carrying it around in his mouth..we were cracking up!
Wow Lolly, that's lucky! Brother just has no manners and no class. My other 2 would DIE before upsetting me and rarely jump on the counters or table and would NEVER do so if we were in the general area! Bleaching countertops is a constant thing around here.
Sassafras, our departed basset, would get hold of cans of food. The thing about that was she could chew her way into it. I would find a can of green beans with holes bitten into it just lying on the floor. Had to keep 'Fras out of the pantry.
If you offered her an unopened can of dog food, she would walk off with it in her mouth. Of course, we did not allow her to chew her way into a can of dog food if we saw her with one.
She also snatched tubs of margarine. I sometimes found them buried in a laundry basket underneath the clothes. Interesting find.
Good Morning! Gosh, I need to wish a Happy Birthday to Megan's Russ, and Paula's Brensin! Forgive me for being a bit tardy.
Lynne, I'm glad that Bro Cat had a good poo. Hope the liverwurst hasn't caused a problem with that! Don't blame him, though--that's seriously good stuff! Thanks for the input about Emma's weight. We got to see her Mom, who was actually fairly tall for a Springer, with long legs. But Emma is still growing in spurts. Right now, she is "all legs", but should soon fill out to match. MTBR...
Congratulations to Lily, and to big sister Hope!
We are getting packed and ready to go to stay overnight at the JW Marriott in Desert Hot Springs, Hubby's B'day present from his Sis. Emma goes to Petopia overnight. Hope she likes her "doggy camp!" Say, she got to meet a doggie neighbor this morning! He's a yellow lab mix. She sniffed noses politely, then plopped upside down, as if to say, "Gosh, you are a LOT bigger than me! Think I'll do the safe thing!" She was SOOO happy to meet another dog!
Well, I'm all packed, but need to pack Emma's stuff, including food and a gallon bottle of our filtered tap water. Petopia is in Orange, and we're in Anaheim, so different water supplies. Gotta get showered and dressed, too, so better get a move on!
Will be back shortly before we leave. Will be here tomorrow after we get home. Hope to get lots of pictures! Will miss you all, though. Keep an eye on those eagles and the bears for me, please! Will see if there's a computer available where we are staying. BBL... :o]
BWE started their HP very early and PLENTY OF It! 4 eggs wouldn't surprise me;)
I don't think I saw Lynn this morning..did I miss her? Gene found a doggie dish in our driveway, might have been Mai's. Didn't Lynn say Mai was dragging her dish everywhere? Is Mai missing?
I fogot to tell you about this, when I went to get my blood work the other day (all reading are great):

My mom makes me ride in the stroller too..
Well, gee, my knee still hurts. I have been putting off calling the orthopedic guy again, but I do have the report on my x-ray and they found a problem.
There is fluid. It hurts when I touch it. I remember that someone--I think Lynn thought it might be a bruised nerve. I need to follow through and make the appointment. I have just been so busy.
Oh Wow, gal next door got her house rented....they are moving in today. She had to evict the last guy, he didn't pay the rent. Glad she got a new renter.
Tragedy cannot be stopped - Just got a call from my dil concerning a life long friend of my 20 yr old gs. He died last evening driving home from the Hagerstown area. He crossed the center line - no one in the other car was injured - but he didn't have seat belt on. I'm told that alcohol was involved. He was traveling alone. Prayers for all his friends and his parents and older brother.
Me too, Paula. I haven't ever had any medical attention to a knee before. I don't notice this unless I press on just the right spot on my knee, but then it is very painful.

Stay warm!
The nest is MT, and so is the blog, LOL
Good morning, everyone.
MT nest but it sure looks inviting for eagles. Hope I catch one or two on a visit today.
Happy Birthday, Hope. Wonder if you remember what it took to survive those early months?
I still can't tell about the number of cubs but hear some soft protests, some purring, and Lily making adjustments.
Have a nice morning. BBL
Good Morning Eagle Friends
Eeeuwiee party at BWO
Norfolk is empty
NCTC is empty
Finland Water has fresh snow and looks calm for a change
Might be a good time to sneak under the covers
Best wishes for a good day, and a Fun Birthday Party for Brensin, Paula
xo See you all later on
I hear the rumblings of a bear.
Good morning Eagle fans.
I hear little bear squeaks also.
I don't see nctc eagles yet. Looks like a lot of new fluff has been added.
Hi,
It is really noisy at the bear den right now.
81 is testing the egg cup to see if it's a good fit. On the TH nest.
Jordon Lake is not coming in yet.
Good morning! Nothing quite like waking up to a 12 pound weight on your chest, staring you in the face and meowing. I get no respect!
No eagles but certainly hear little bear squallings! Amazing how it sounds like a new born baby at times.
Leave in about an hour and a half for 10 year old basketball game. Also anxious to see Jacob minus a front tooth. Going to be a good day! Time to get out of the house.

Eagle flew in.
EAGLE ALERT!!
I see an eagle.
I think that's Lib...checking out the bowl
I think it's Lib and he's shuffling fluff around.
Morning, Shirley and BEagle and Lolly...have fun at the game, Lolly
Hi, Paula.
Oh, I didn't notice food on the nest. He just picked it up and wrangled with it. I see fur flying.
Oh, he found a nestover....looks like part of a bird? Plucking either feathers or fur.
Lily the Black Bear
Twitter update on bearstudy by Sue "Any doubt about the # of cubs Lily gave birth to has been put to rest. We clearly heard one new cub squawking and new one cub nursing! "
and they are very noisy this morning!
Guess it's fur? Looks like some sort of bone
It looked L shaped
Or a frozen critter perhaps
Hi Paula. Getting ready to party hardy?
I thought it was a stick at first.
NBG zooming in, fantastic! Eagle in our nest, outstanding! Baby bears screaming....Wow!
Our temperature has gone up 4 degrees..from 11 to 15.
I don't see a weather indicator on the OC web.
Watch your ear drums Lolly. (lol)
Sure am, BEagle. I thought it was a stick, too. Not sure if he brought it in or not. Ah, getting something out of it now.
Wow. Nice close up of NBG.
Thanks Lolly about the OK eagle site.
It is cold out there!!!!
Loretta thanks for the little glowing eyes, great pics.

Probably like eating ice cubes.
Do not need the earbuds to hear that squalling and it will just be getting louder. Heard two last night for sure.
Small, whatever it was...looks like he's gonna finish it off. Belle, you snoooze, you lose!
Love the Sat new thread - thanks Steve.
Love the eagle in our nest!!
Chowing down
Wow, they are really zooming in at NBG. Just think what it will be like when there are eaglets!
Lib done, now tidying up the bowl.
And up to the back.
SOMEONE PLEASE FEED THOSE BABIES!!!! My goodness!
Hot damalama it's 14 degrees here now!
What's weather like in Nestville?
Lib is in favorite spot now. Couldn't lure Belle in with that ice cube.
brunch is over, a little beak cleaning, maybe a poop shoot over the side....
damalama?
the Chipping Sparrow was back today!
We are having a heat wave here, up to 38! It got down into the 20's last night but is warming up.
Off to the left.
ok, how's this for better spelling...
Dam-a-lam-a
Happy Birthday to Paula's Brensin.
Hope - Happy Bear-day 1 year to you.
Eagle poofed!
Took off the back...did you see the leaves in the nest blow around? He went up into the tree, could see the tree shake....heard a small sound, but not very loud when he landed :(
Thanks Lolly for the upcoming new Sutton Cam
We do need more cams to check on - lol
Our egg well looks so ready....
Lynne!!! Watch your language! LOL
Wanda posted a video of the bears on fb, but I could not get it to play.
I was so happy to see a red sky last evening, but I guess it didn't take care of the temperature.
A fellow I work with who attended school in North Dakota got reports that it was -40 degrees there yesterday. Brrr. Brrr. Brrr.
Wow, that NBG closeup is nice!
Yes, one more cam is all we need. LOL But, that is one more close to me to go visit, right? :)
Yeah, Lynne. Watch it...
Nest weather is a very chilly 16° partly cloudy and about 5 to 7 mph winds.
Hello all:)
He said it was hard getting used to the warmer temperatures here. We were cold. He just wears a hoodie when he goes outside.
I am feeling the urge to hit the road. Maybe in a few weeks, just depends on the weather.
sorry for my potty mouth!
can't wait til the Steelers game tomorrow. Oh my, the language that escapes me is EMBARRASSING during football.
Lynne2, Brother would have to fight me for a snack of liverwurst! lol
the feel of temperature is so relative....we were in Terra Alta in June. It was really hot here, but gorgeous and 75 there that Saturday. We were SOOOO comfy! My MIL, on the other hand, was running around in shorts and a tank top saying it was too hot. My SIL, up from FLA, was on the patio with sweats on saying how cold it was!! 82 is still at TH
Wonder what the temperature is at NBG.
Eagle
Back with more fluff!
Back in the nest with fluff!
Really Lynne2...you get to a potty mouth during the Steelers games?
I just get all excited and scream "defense" "go go go", "come on other team you know you want to give us the ball", "come on intercept it"!!!!!
Eagle in our nest.
Finally, got the NC nest.
Lib is back/
BEagle, the cat is a Freakshow in a Fur Jumpsuit. The stories I could tell....
Yesterday, I left and UNOPENED can of frosting on the counter. Steve found him, with the can, on the living room floor trying to eat through it. He's a mess!
Working on the sticks at the back
We have always been fortunate with Annie. She is not a jumper. It is almost like she is afraid to jump. Our bed is way high and it is sometimes very challenging for her to get up there. She goes to the cedar chest to jump over. She has to work up her nerve to jump.
He's arranging or re-arranging much needed baby bumpers.
They have a mess on that right side lol
that stick is being very uncooperative.
That's too funny, Lynne!
Lynne, I have the same kind of dietary issues with George. He is supposed to be on his special diet, but he is always stealing dog food, which causes him problems.
We have to protect the dogs from George attack. He will intimidate them and take the food right from the dog dish.
Frosting? Oh how cute!
Even though he gets on your nerves Lynne2. : )
Eagle at NBG is sitting all cozy like in the egg cup.
Time for me to get ready to go.
Have a great day, everyone! BBL
Nugz and Boo always go thru Michael's bag in his room when he comes home. Last time Michael was here, Boo found a Pringles can, and snuck off with it...was carrying it around in his mouth..we were cracking up!
yhujjjm
George just walked across the keyboard.
George is king of the jungle.
that must be a "hello" from George.
ROFL.
Wow Lolly, that's lucky! Brother just has no manners and no class. My other 2 would DIE before upsetting me and rarely jump on the counters or table and would NEVER do so if we were in the general area! Bleaching countertops is a constant thing around here.
Lib flew off to the right.
Off to the right...sure wish our sound was better !
Just check that Sutton nest. Eagle is there.
Those NBg eagles sure are pro nest builders.
Eagle at NBG is stitting in the egg cup.
Yes. They have a handsome nest for sure.
Funny Paula! They are precious, aren't they?
And Brother is such a funny, lovable fella. He loves the dogs, he loves the cats, he love us, he is so friendly....but boy is he strange!
Pics on my Blog BEagle if you want to see him. There are several I think in Jan 09.
Back with a big stick....
aha, broke it at the Y, easier to place now
Sassafras, our departed basset, would get hold of cans of food. The thing about that was she could chew her way into it. I would find a can of green beans with holes bitten into it just lying on the floor. Had to keep 'Fras out of the pantry.

Eagle again!!!!
Oh my, what a guy!!
And what a stick.
While Belle's away, Lib will play!
Lib back and tussling with a very long stick.
wow, that is some amazing hound nose! I guess he could smell the food right through the cans!
Hi, Everyone,
Good Morning!
Gosh, I need to wish a Happy Birthday to Megan's Russ, and Paula's Brensin!
Forgive me for being a bit tardy.
Lynne,
I'm glad that Bro Cat had a good poo.

Off to the right
And maybe up into the tree
Whoosh. There went Lib off to the right.
Well, I'm all packed, but need to pack Emma's stuff, including food and a gallon bottle of our filtered tap water. Petopia is in Orange, and we're in Anaheim, so different water supplies. Gotta get showered and dressed, too, so better get a move on!

Wouldn't it be about the right time for an NBG egg lay?
Have a great time at the party, Paula!
Gotta run, must go get my fresh eggs from my favorite farmer. Have a great day everybody!
My delete above
Not for our nest yet a bad snow storm for Tuesday.
Andy enjoy your day away and snap pictures for us to see.
Beautiful view of NBG eagle. Is she laying now?
Eagle also in the Sutton nest...
Check out that site...
Eagles 4 Kids - nest is still filled with snow but some feetsie prints
I still find it hard to believe that BWE has 3 eggs after all these years of 2 eggs only.
Two eagles at NBG
Heading out for some errands and to run the car some.
later
I was hoping to see the KIDS eagles.
Good Sat. AM.
Saw Lib tussling with that stick!
Wonderful news about OK cam! Surprised, to say the least!
Never had a dog that chewed into cans---thank goodness. Bro Cat has good taste----I love liverwurst with onion and mustard sandwiches!
From IWS: We will be working on rerouting the Two Harbors Eagle Cam feed today. It may go down from time to time.
Have heard baby cub squeals several times this AM.
It is 18° here in Nestville...brrrr!
Both!!
Belle is munching the rest of the nestovers. Pretty sure Lib brought that in on his first arrival this morning.
I already have liverwurst on shopping list. Don't need to pick up the mustard and onions. Got plenty.
I may even have a frosty after that. It will be my splurge meal. : )
Lib skinned it for her.
Isn't that sweet?
Oh. Both again.
Lib is back
I fogot to tell you about this, when I went to get my blood work the other day (all reading are great):
While I sat in the reception area
of Dr.DeBord's office, a woman rolled an elderly man
in a wheelchair into the room. As she went
to the receptionist's desk, the man sat there, alone
and silent. Just as I was thinking I should make
small talk with him, a little boy slipped off
his mother's lap and walked over to
the wheelchair. Placing his hand on the
man's, he said, I know how you feel. My
mom makes me ride in the stroller too..
The above is for you JUDIE:)
It's 3 degrees at the KIDS.
Guess Lib did't finish it up after all
oh Wanda, that is just precious! And I 'm glad your test results were good!
I like my liverwurst with ketchup.
HP!!!!
HP
FinFerry even had a ferry this morning, so guess they aren't iced over---probably a lot warmer there than in Minnesota and northern ND!!!
Finally got to see it! And recorded it too! Heard Lib afterwards!
LIVERWURST AND CATSUP!
Oh my. Cannot imagine!
Two eagles. Yay!
I see that both are back in our nest!! Missed the HP----letting Mai out.
The boy and the man in the wheelchair!
How sweet!
ewww liverworst!
Lolly---do you know the outcome of that 10 year old b-ball game???!!!
love the stroller story, Wanda
Belle is putting finishing touches on the egg cup.
Lib at the back Belle in the bowl....oh she was just molding it! lOVE IT when they do that
That is a wonderful stroller story, Wanda.
Belle move to the front, so Lib hopped in the bowl.
Egg cup is getting deep!
My baby's first meat was a little liverwurst. He loved it. Still does.
Awesome close up of NBG eagle.
Lovely view of our eagles.
Oh, and that definitely looked like egg producing HP :)
I think it fits 'just right'
Belle back down in the bowl
Eagle on White Rock too.
Oh Wow, gal next door got her house rented....they are moving in today. She had to evict the last guy, he didn't pay the rent. Glad she got a new renter.
Lib off the back and to the right
Back.
Gonna have to break away here shortly...gotta get ready for the party.
Lib back from the right with fluff. Good boy, Lib!
Belle and Lib are really busy today.
Lib in the front Belle in the bowl, arranging
And molding
Lib rearranges fluff when Belle isn't looking. :)
Shirley, hope it's an easy fix for your knee.
Aren't they beautiful?
Oh, so sorry, Jo. Prayers.
I think I had the two reversed.
Great story, Wanda!!! And glad your labs were good!
So sorry to hear that Jo...
Prayers for your friend's family Jo.
Belle is sure keeping her eye on Lib
He is pecking around but hasn't moved any sticks yet! lol
Jo, he was only safe doing that while she was otherwise occupied eating, LOL
Gotta tear myself away....
Nice long visit!
I have to scoot too.
I don't hear anything on the bear cam except a loud buzz.
Is the Sutton eagle laying?
Getting the same loud buzz, BEagle.
Did Sutton lay an egg? I just saw her wiggle down on the nest!
I was expecting to hear baby bear noises.
Beakspeak says there is an egg at Sutton.
Gee. I have the cams rolling. Still haven't seen NC chicks yet. Haven't seen BWE roll eggs yet either.
Laughing at Lib - he won't give up
until he moves that big one -
Lots of sticks on the left of the nest that need moving.....
Finally got NC eagle nest....must be darn near a dozen fish or fish parts in the nest!
Well, maybe not a dozen, but I can count at least 6 fish tails at NC
Sutton has an egg? Which nest are they using?
Belle off to the right
That is a mound of fish tails.
Must be the best part for the chicks.
or dessert.
They may be talking about the new nest that Sutton is broadcasting?
Lib off to the right
Off goes Lib.
They are feeding their eaglets well!
I think it's the new nest with the eagle sitting there. She must have egg(s).
Sutton now has the nest at the
Sequoyah National Park - That is the eagle nesting.......
The other nest is over the water - the one that Lolly and Jack visited.
How are we are going to differentiate them when we speak of them ????
Lib is back with another stick.
Looks like Belle is back to do some adjusting of the sticks.
That's a good one. SU and SQ?
Poof! flew out to the right. MT nest
