Wow, Lolly, 70 degrees yesterday. We have a dusting of snow on the grass this morning.
Haven't had time to keep up with Lily's adventures the past few days. I enjoy reading about them.
The last time I did have the NC cam up, BEagle, she had not moved a muscle in hours.....I figured it was frozen. Refreshed, and haven't had it since. :(
I definitely know the feeling of hesitation about walking. I still re-live my fall and really do not even want to go into the school via the route I was taking that day. (I do not usually go that way anyway.)
Well when I last checked the live feed was working. It still bogs down my laptop though which is also on a quite slow aircard right now at my sons, so not something I will watch for long periods of time. I miss the pop up. Used it to alert me to load the live cam.
Prayers for Brandon's family. It is so hard to read about that.
I just refreshed the NC cam. She is moving her head.
They could use some technical assistance on the NC cam web. Their cam window is laying over the script "About Us" just enough to be annoying.

BEagle, it was that way for me, too, the first time I brought it up---it was dark so not on. The next morning when it was on the text was appropriately placed. Go figure!

FWS has Blackwater cams listed on their google. I thought it was the same.
Is there an echo?
I just checked the FWS site again and typed in Blackwater. They have listed the Blackwater Raptor cams both Osprey and Eagle and is linked through FWS.

Lynn sounds like Mai did good at training. There could even be someone starting later on. That would give Mai some interaction also. Or the trainer could have a friend or if he/she has a dog bring it in for some interaction. Trainer up in Winchster did that with one of her dogs.
Watching eagle at NC and yes it did move its head.
I can't get the still cam either. Remember Steve said it is operatored by someone out in Colorado. He needs to tell me and I'll send my daughter over. I like them to get a "slap on the head like Gibbs gives DeNoseo" in NCSI. I know I didn't spell that name right.

The NC eagle has moved again! I keep missing it. This time it was for another cup of coffee! Shucks.
No eagle at Hornby but I heard them now I just hear crows.
Lake of the Ozarks Eagles empty nest but hear air planes. Oh they are moving cam around. Pulled it way back and now off to the right of nest. Now back on nest. Really windy up there. There they go again moving the cam around.I think they are looking for the eagles.

Checked out Jordan Lake, NC...pretty good size lake.
BEagle sun looks like it is melting snow here at house in yard and road. So it will probably do same in the nest.

Got Maine up the pine tree one. It looks like it is just started snowing there. The nest doesn't have any snow in it yet. Sound is good. Color is good.

Central Maine 15 second updates looks dark there with night light on at nest I think otherwise nest is filled with snow.

Good morning! I am so excited! I am hearing wind at our nest!!!! Wow!
Missed the visit this morn. I slept until almost 9!!! I was exhausted last night. Lost weight yesterday too. Working at Laurel's does it. Going up and down those stairs!!!
Now need to dust around here. I got the decorations put away, (the tree is still up! LOl But, I have not dusted. Laurel and the boys are coming tomorrow. Jack is going to grill steaks.

lol just pulled up Sidney Bald Eagles nest 02 it is the close up one and little birds are tweeting. Sure sounds good ( : and I just had to chuckle. Great close up!
Sidney nest 1 cam is making a squealing noise and windy. lol has written above the cam "wide-angle infrared Cames (Eagles cannot see the lights) They must have had a lot of people asking, "Can't the light bother the eagles?"
So funny hearing plainly birds singing. Neat!!
Our dear Chrissy has lost her beloved Beauty. Her condition had reached the point where they knew it was time to put her to rest. Frank and Matt took her to the vet uyesterday morning. Chrissy is so very sad. And we all know how she feels. Love and hugs to her!

They just posted this on FB-It's official. Lily's vulva are VERY swollen. Lynn is in the warm den shed thawing out before heading back on the snowmobile. The den camera angle has improved. All good news. -- SM
Wind is gusting here and at nest n9ow, about 15 mph, gonna get worse this evening.
I have noticed that since Hunter has moved in, the fingerprints on the back door go lower and the lower ones are the grubbiest.
Also had to wash a pencil. It was quite sticky. Must have been used to do homework.
Be great if our nest had sound like the bear cam does. On it you can even
hear the crunching of the snow when walked upon.........

We had dusting of snow also, sun trying to come out now.
Guess today is the time to make soup w/my prime rib bones. What a wonderful chunk of meat---lasted almost a week. I never get tired of it!

I think we have gotten new neighbors next door. "For sale" sign has gone down and there is activity over there as if someone is doing renovations.
Liked our old neighbors and wanted to say good-bye when they left, but the last day that I saw them was the day I was returning from the doctor with my black eyes and I was not feeling too well. They would not have known what had happened to me.
Wish they had come over to speak, but they were probably really busy with their five children.
I was much closer to my neighbors in the old neighborhood. I lived there when I was not working and had children playing with their children. That is where my bridge club is.
The nest is swaying in the wind. This cam angle seems to show the swaying much more.
Good grief. The beater bar just fell off the new vacuum we just bought. Just got that one in December.

I am really enjoying the wind sound on our cam. Have both the cam and my laptop turned up to the fullest. Have yet to hear an eagle fly in, but at least there is a little sound.
Okay, I have to leave you fine folks and get something accomplished. I should have the drive here to clean like I do at Laurel's. Why is that? I guess cause I know I won't be there long. :)

I'll have to get into my genealogy to get correct spelling. I don't know about where the girls live or who they married. Need to get information from Kevin one of these days.

Miss M ai just caught my glasses and pulled them off----they are screw-woogy as my ol' grandPop used to say. :( He could have fixed them---he was an optician. Thank goodness for a spare....sure can't look through these, and a bit afraid of trying to adjust them myself.
