I got some more decorations down today. Tree comes down tomorrow! Outside lights still stuck in ice. Might get them down by the end of the week if these temps hold out!!!!
i didn't know that TCU was coming to the Big East. That's cool! Think I heard, too, that the PAC 10 is going to expand to 12---but still be called 10.....???? What kind of sense does that make??
I miss having a puppy! The last 3 dogs we got have been rescues, already grown when we got them! Ellie Mae was our last pup and she will be 10 on 1/15/2011!!!
Sissy, I hate taking down the decorations. So I won't----for at least another week or so. I love the lights....and hate the work of putting it all away! And decorations are like hangers.....they seem to multiply everytime I try to fit them back in storage!
I sure do wish our cam was working!! Finally got them back and the cam goes down!!! Darn the luck!! Lily and Hope haven't moved any that I have seen today!!
I love high school football more than any sport on the planet! You cannot beat the passion of high school football!!!
Hi Magpie, sleep well!!
Oh yeah, I wanted to tell you all they do not expect Kendra Bowman to make it through the night. Such a pitty. Becca said she is unconscious now. Bless her Momma's heart.
I am signing off and kicking back awhile. I will catch ya'll in the morning light!! Love and hugs!!
TCU is a great school. I had a loan to go there, but when I went 62-66 it was not as much as it is now. LOL
Sister went there, brother in law graduated from there, cousin played football there, several other relatives have graduated from there. It is our school!
That breaks my heart about Kendra - being so young! I pray she passes with God's hand in hers.
Hubby and I went out to eat at Cracker Barrel and along with our orders was a small container of none other than Black Eyed Peas. So I am going to be lucky this year.
Getting a chance to relax!! Pleasant Dreams, Margy--just missed you! Bev, sad news about Kendra. She's in God's hands now.
I hope I may soon figure out what day of the week it is!Glad we have lots of leftovers--Sunday dinner again tomorrow. Guess I need to make new 2011 folders for 'puter pictures! And figure out how to delete the older, not so good ones. Poor 'puter is getting crowded. May have to do DVDs (but then I'll never look at them!) DUH
Suturing of doggie completed. Now I need someone to suture the back of my leg! She nailed me good.....not really THAT bad, but bad enough. Think I need my hemoglobin checked....I've sure bled alot in the last few weeks!! LOTS of owies! Lynne------how do I stop the attacks??????
The young man that I mentioned was in such critical condotion from a wreck earlier this week is losing ground. There is slim to no chance of recovery. Please include Tristan in your prayers.
Last night I fell asleep waiting for John and Ajay to get home, so Ajay comes in at 2:30 in not such good shape! She had a wee bit too much to drink! Apparently her and friends did not end up at John's place of work!
So, while she was, umm, visiting the porcelain god, I stayed there to make sure she got into bed OK.
John got home around 3:15am, and I left there about 3:30, finally after getting home and to bed, etc it was 4:30.
So I really overslept this morning...didn't get up until 11:15, then had to rush around and get hopping john ready to take to GF house. Got there at 1pm and just got home a little after 9 tonight....so it's been a good fun day with friends.
Got to watch a little of Lolly's TCU in the rose bowl, and bits here and there of the parade this morning.
Getting ready to hit the sack soon, had a little wine this afternoon and now I have a headache!
I didn't know where Michael and Ashley were this week. After they left here Sunday afternoon they flew to San Antonio with Zach. Went to just let him swim in the hotel pool and he loves flying. They returned Thurs. Then yesterday they left him with his Nana and they flew to NYC. Coming home late tomorrow. He called tonight and let me know where they were. Must be nice to be jet setters!
A beautiful day and nature was calling so we took the dogs for a walk up at the reservoir. A couple of hours later, I got another "call of nature". Prepared for the possibility, we carefully scoped the area for others and saw no one. Off into the woods I went. Upon returning to the shoreline, we heard the voices. Men in a tree stand, not 20 yards away from where I was, most likely got a bird's eye view of me. I almost threw up. I may never go hiking again.
The moral of the story....when it's deer season, it's not enough to scope for people at eye level. You must look UP, too. They were in blaze orange, and were easily seen once we looked UP.
Good night, and prayers for all. As for me, I will likely have nightmares of finding myself posted on YouTube. UGH.
Lynn, no she wasn't embarrassed...it's not the first time! She was only embarrassed the first time. She normally does not get so inebriated!! And she knows I don't get upset...she's a big girl...and deserves to have a fun night out, though she's paying for it today, LOL
Just wanted to hop in here and let you all know that Kendra Bowman passed away about 20 minutes ago. Please lift up her family in prayer tonight. Her poor Momma is living through a mother's worst nightmare.
Good grief, Lynne!! How awful--deer stands!Guess if you go back there, you'll go in disguise!!! Paula, glad tomorrow is Sunday, I think, & you can get some sleep! Lolly, thx for the bear link. BTW, we're assuming Horned Frogs are the same as what we call Horned Toads??, right??They're really lizards. Lynn, you'll have to email Cesar Milan on doggy biting!LOL We had light rain & now I would say it's "fogging"!Still nice temps--warmer than my daughter's in TX! My eyeballs are going, too. Went backwards thru individual pics in 'puter from Z to K, deleting, etc. So if I konk out soon, it's been a wonderful first day and Pleasant Feather Dreams to all & Prayers for, Kendra, Tristan, Brandon and all in need ;>)
Lynne, I would have been mortified and any urgency would have passed for sure. Sorry they spied you.
Congrats to Lolly's team! Didn't get to see the game since the guys took over the remote. Tomorrow my bil Charlie will have the Steelers game on and I can watch it with him. Jim & Chris wouldn't dare change the channel on his tv. heehee
Goodnight to all those headed to their pillows. Hi to those staying for a while.
Prayers for all wants and needs but I must go to my recliner, am getting sleepy. God bless all of you. ((HUGS))
I am heading back the hallway to my pillows - I sleep inclined on a stack of them (and usually slide off of them by morning - lol)
Wishing to all of you again that you have a blessed 2011. Prayers for all for better health, for hearts that are sadden and for our friends to always be there for us. ((hugs)) for All ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Good Night Lolly - So happy that your team won and gave you much excitement and made more memories.
If I see Michael I will tell him in no uncertain terms that he is to tell his mother where he is going when he goes jetting around. I'll smack him if I have too!
Thanks Jo! He needs a good smacking! Go right ahead!
LOl Yes, it has been a great day. I got a lot done today. Sat here cleaning up my recipes while watching the game. (Never can just sit) But, after the game, well, I have not accomplished one thing! Definitely attention deficit and hyper tonight!
Hi, Everyone, Getting here pretty late. Fell asleep with Emma in front of the TV again. It's pretty interesting--when she sits in Hubby's lap, she tends to be somewhat hyper, but when she sits in mine, she settles down and watches TV with me!
Read back a bit, and am SO sorry to see that Kendra Bowman has passed away. My heart just goes out to her family. It seems so unnatural for a child to go before their parents do. Prayers that God will get them through this and heal their broken hearts.
Hubby and I went to see "The Black Swan" today. It was really very good, and gives you an "inside" look at the world of professional ballet, but was definitely 'R' rated, and had more than a couple of scenes that I think could have been left out. Natalie Portman did a fantastic job of portraying a prima ballerina about to go over the edge. Definitely NOT a "date movie"--in fact, there was an older gentleman sitting right next to me who was very uncomfortable at times, and complaining to his wife about some of the scenes. Would NOT recommend for anyone under 18. Another case of Oscar-worthy acting mixed with misguided writing. Why can't they just write a good screenplay and leave out the 'R' rated stuff? Why not leave it to the viewer's imagination? JMHO. Wish we had gone to see "True Grit" instead.
Went over to let the bulldogs in for the night after going home and checking on Emma (who was a good girl, and hung in there until we got home). Got a call from Sis-in-law, and they had had a dicey drive through near-whiteout conditions, and were north of Bishop, CA. They still had about 5 or 6 hours of driving to get home.
Watched TV with Emma, who really gets interested in watching "Parolees and Pit Bulls" on Animal Planet.
Lynn, sorry that Mai is being such a little rascal! Emma finally "got" what "No bite!" means, and hasn't "nailed" anyone in a while. If she got too hyper and began playing too rough we started putting her in her crate for a while, with a blanket over it, so she couldn't see out. (She is so extremely good about going into the crate, it's almost unbelievable!) She would settle down and go to sleep for a bit, or play with one of her chew toys for a while. Once we retrieved her from the crate, she would be fine. We don't let her out if she's fussing for attention--we can tell if she needs to go potty. There's a definite difference between the two situations. Oh, by the way, Emma is attempting to teach US to fetch her tennis ball! If she's playing with it in someone's lap, and it falls on the floor, she "points" to it, and barks like crazy, hoping we will retrieve it! We did at first, but now just get her interested in another toy instead.
Well, I have written more than enough for now. Will try to go get some sleep. Making sure the night light is on, and the porch light. Prayers have been said for everyone. Hope everyone is sleeping sweetly, and I'll talk to you in the morning. The eye-scanner security and Dana's thumbprint-scanner security are enabled. God bless, and goodnight! Love you guys! :o]
Hi, I'm an avid NCTC eagle watcher and live in Martinsburg, WV, not far from NCTC. My live cam has been down for days, and the still cam doesn't work either. Is anyone else having trouble too?
I was just reminded by a Flaashback in the newspaper that 40 yrs. ago Sat. night/Sun. morning that a heavy snowfall hit the area. My afianced and I left Annandale at MN and it took 5 hrs. to get to Martinsburg for his family reunion. We were pushing snow with the bumper by the time we got to the interstate. We had to walk in to the motel (81 at Spring Mills for you locals) from the ramp......got a few hours of sleep, and then drove to his aunts house (Darkesville for you locals). Turned out we were the ONLY people who showed up-----and we had come the furthest!!!!!
Good Morning! It is raining here and 61. Nice after much cooler temps. Won't last long.
So sorry for the young Kendra and her family. So agonizing for a mother.
Lynn, i am also sorry that you and Mai might not havr bonded like you wish because of her"free spirit" but I think obedience classes are going to make the difference.
Pulling for the Steelers today.
Shirley, how are you doing? Hope things are healing and good as new very soon.
Wanda and Gene, Happy Anniversary. What a testament to the type of people you are. Here's to many more!
Good morning! Have been up a while reading the paper. Annie was a big pain this morn. She started her usual crying to go out but did not want to let her out and go back to bed. It was 24. Finally I gave up and got up. Grrrr.
Happy anniversary to the Capt Father and his lovely bride Wanda. Celebrate the day!
I saw both eagles in the BWE nest when I opened it, and it appears they are feeding on the nest now.... can't remember how long to egg laying from that point, but I remember it's a sign they are progressing well.
Good morning everyone. Happy Anniversary Wanda and Gene
Sorry to read of Kendra's passing too. She wasn't home on hospice long. Hopefully just long enough for some quiet private peaceful family and close friends kind of time. Prayers for those left behind now.
Hoping to see a new thread and working cam at some point today. MTBR
DELTA OWL has 2 cams close up right into the nest and then a wide angle view of the tree. Now I wish we had 2 views so we could see our Royal Couple when they sit up on the branches.
BEagle, K10 made a quick visit on 12/31....they have been pretty much absent from the nest in December. They should start working on the nest more in January.
BEagle, NCTC cam speak is wrong! Our eagles don't leave!!! They just don't stay in the nest day in and day out!! But we know that they drop in frequently. That is what I wrote to Outdoor about, asking them to correct that along with clarifying new cam position only, not a new nest location. They are misleading people who don't know!
No, BEagle.....it still says: We have a new camera and location for the 2011 nesting season. Bookmark this page and so you can easily access it when the eagles return in 2011.
HedgieThanks for Blackwater video. I loved how they ended it with the eagle call and zooming in on the eagles although YES I enjoyed the whole thing. :-)
Rainy Sunday here! But Still a HAPPY ANNIVERSARY DAY FOR WANDA & GENE!!! And they said it wouldn't last! LOL
Was watching bear cam and just saw a few wiggles and a nose a couple of times--nice and clear pic--not snowing. Someone undecorated the picture window before I awoke.BOO--like to keep it up at least for this whole holiday weekend. Will keep my house lights up tonight, tho. My daughter sent their deco pics. She got the new, bright LED lights for tree & they cast a purple glow on walls!!
Home from church. Lots of purple at church. LOL Pastor started with reading a passage from Corinthians about women covering their heads when they pray....and out came the purple TCU cap! With her robe she also had on purple boots. I coveted them but confessed and she forgave me. :)I even put on my class ring and was afraid I could not get it off. However, I used windex and off it came.
We bought new icicle led lights this year. Will add more next year. They are just so expensive to replace all at once. The looked blue compared to all the other lights.
Our denomination, Disciples of Christ (Christian Church) does not own the university but is associated with the university. Brite Divinity school is also associated with the university.
I was trying to catch up but turned on tv. YOU ALL HAVE TO WATCH FOR A MOVIE CALLED:Chestnut Hero Of Central Park. I think it is about two young girls that maybe lived in England. Their mother might have died. I don't know it the lady is a relative but she and her husband are foster or maybe going to adopt the two girls. They have snuck in a pouup all the way from home with them. It is halirous --he keeps getting bigger.YOU JUST HAVE TO SEE THIS MOVIE!!!!!!!!!
Poor Will....wonder how he did that??? Thankful. tho', that it's not Shirley herself! She's been through enough. And the young recover so much faster! Thanks, Paula and Lolly!
Dana, thanks.....tuned in now....but it's not being shown again anytime soon....so missed 3/4ths of it. Think MAYBE that I've seen it before, but not sure.
Have a cousins daughter that posted a picture on fb of her two pets. The smaller of the two, her kitty is on the dogs bed. Her dog, is curled up in the kitty's bed that is way too small. So funny!
Years ago I asked an interim pastor, female, to officiate my Mother's funeral. I liked her a great deal, my mother liked her also. The man minister my Mother adored refused to do the service. ?
There were great women leaders in the Old and New Testament.
BEagle, I am tackling that today too, along with trying to get all the Christmas stuff down and put away
Already got my outside stuff done, threw the ball for the dogs, scooped the poop (fun), and reattached the now unfrozen sump pump outside drainage pipes.
I will tackle Christmas decorations this next week. I plan on thinning it out a wee bit. Too many Santas and how much longer can Jack climb into the attic to get decorations down.

Oh the joys of puppydom!!
i didn't know that TCU was coming to the Big East.
Looking at the stadium, there seemed to be a lot more Wisconsin fans in the stands....surprising since TX is closer to LA than Wisconsin is!
Nothing about the goings on of college football make sense to me...
Glad to see that TCU won. I have been on the phone with Susan. I wanted to talk with her about her plans for Ecuador.
Sissy, I hate taking down the decorations. So I won't----for at least another week or so. I love the lights....and hate the work of putting it all away! And decorations are like hangers.....they seem to multiply everytime I try to fit them back in storage!
Yea for our red headed Andy!!!!!
Bath time. Will rejoin y'all in a little while!
YAY!!!,Lolly!! Just on phone w/daughter & heard the TCU Frogs won the Rosebowl!!!!
Wisconsin is a much bigger school thus more fans there.
i am just so excited!!! I can not sit still!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh, I like that "a class school, a class coach, a class quarterback" Wahooooooooooooooooooo!
I sure do wish our cam was working!! Finally got them back and the cam goes down!!! Darn the luck!! Lily and Hope haven't moved any that I have seen today!!
lots of people say college football is the real thing...
better than the pros!
I don't get to watch very much of either....
Congratulations Lolly

Sissy, so sorry about Kendra. So sad. Our Lord MUST have a very special reason for wanting her with Him.
bear update
It has been an exciting day. I didn't think that I stayed up much after midnight, but I am having a hard time keeping my eyes from blurring out!
God be with Kendra and her family. Hold them in the hollow of your hand and give them peace.
Thanks for the Bear update... they are learning something new all the time.
Knee high boots and elbow length leather gloves and a catcher's mask.
It will get better! Can't have you
bitten up all over.
I guess you could put a muzzle on Mai.
Lynne didn't come back on with her
embarrassing story yet - right?
Glad you mended Mai's doggy. Lol She needs her "lovey" to sleep. I am always mending Jacob's bunny bear. :)
The young man that I mentioned was in such critical condotion from a wreck earlier this week is losing ground. There is slim to no chance of recovery. Please include Tristan in your prayers.

Getting ready to hit the sack soon, had a little wine this afternoon and now I have a headache!
Yes, Judie's post scared me at first too!
Sounds like everyone has had a pretty good night last night and day today!
And BEagle finally has heat! Don't know how she's done without it.
Have only had a little bit of mist here this evening. Where did the rain go?
Sounds like a good offense, Jo!! Need to make a trip to a sporting goods store!!
No, Lynne hasn't come back!
Good update on the bears. Can't wait to read Gordon's story. Sure hope the show is broadcast in the USA SOON!
Will do Lynn. So sad to hear about young people dying.
Whoa, Paula, that was a late babysitting job. You should have slept there last night. But, I guess you probably got to sleep in more at home.
I got a pic of Mai "hugging" her doggie while sleeping! Will post it next time I bring up the other puter.
my day....

Lolly, SO glad I have only girls! They tell momma where they will be!!!
Paula, was Ajay a bit embarrassed to have you see her like that???
Prayers going up for Tristan.
OMG, Lynne! Can only imagine how you felt! Unbelievable. Think I would have run screaming!!! Bet they had binos, too!!
They probably wanted to shoot you, Lynne......hikers tend to scare off the deer!!! Hope that you and Steve and the dogs had on your blaze orange!
Lynn, no she wasn't embarrassed...it's not the first time! She was only embarrassed the first time. She normally does not get so inebriated!! And she knows I don't get upset...she's a big girl...and deserves to have a fun night out, though she's paying for it today, LOL
Lynne, thank goodness you will most likely never see them again!
Lolly, I probably should have, but those kids get up at like 6am!
So Lolly, did they go to Times Square? It was neat seeing it on TV last night after having seen it for real a couple of weeks ago.
No, they did not go to Times Square. That was the first thing I asked him. They were at a restaurant.
Poor Lynne, I am still laughing. Had not thought of binocs and possibly cameras. Yikes!
Just wanted to hop in here and let you all know that Kendra Bowman passed away about 20 minutes ago. Please lift up her family in prayer tonight. Her poor Momma is living through a mother's worst nightmare.
I am hoping to get my Christmas stuff put away tomorrow...and do some stuff outside, weather permitting. The break in temps here has been wonderful!
Prayers for her family, Bev.
Bev - thanks so much for letting me know. My heart is breaking for Kendra's family. Kendra is at peace now.
Lynn, what was Tristan's last name if you know it.
Good grief! Tons of fireworks or gun shots going off. Someone is a day late!
That's really embarrassing Lynne but funny as all get out! I can just picture it now.
((hugs)) for you Lynne....
So sad to hear about Kendra. Prayers for sure Bev.
LOL Jo! That is the last thing in this world Lynne wants us to do....picture it! It is funny and I am still laughing. Forgive me, Lynne! We love you!
Lynn, you'll have to email Cesar Milan on doggy biting!LOL
We had light rain & now I would say it's "fogging"!Still nice temps--warmer than my daughter's in TX!
My eyeballs are going, too. Went backwards thru individual pics in 'puter from Z to K, deleting, etc.
So if I konk out soon, it's been a wonderful first day and
Pleasant Feather Dreams to all & Prayers for, Kendra, Tristan, Brandon and all in need ;>)
Sissy, so very sorry to hear about Kristin.
Jo, Evarts is his last name.
Lolly I hope that it is just someone
celebrating but it sure is odd - hope
your not having a gang war out front.
Good night to all turning in. Seems like it's been a very long day. News time and then pillows for me, too.
So much sad news already in the new year.
Lolly, the fireworks, etc. are for TCU now!
Going to turn in, catch ya'll in the a.m.!
Hugs to all ♥
Lynn, I was just making sure due to one of the grandsons knowing a Tristan.
You meant to type Kendra who just passed on.
((HUGS))
Just read back & saw that Kendra has passed. Prayers for her family~~~
Diann - did you take your medicine?
(((hugs))) Sleep Well
Yep, really lizards. Who know why, but we are called Horned Frogs! LOl We are unique!
I am heading back the hallway
to my pillows - I sleep inclined on a stack of them (and usually slide off of them by morning - lol)
Wishing to all of you again that you have a blessed 2011.
Prayers for all for better health, for hearts that are sadden and for our friends to always be there for us.
((hugs)) for All ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

team won and gave you much excitement and made more memories.
If I see Michael I will tell him in no uncertain terms that he is to tell his mother where he is going when he goes jetting around. I'll smack him if I have too!
Jo, thanks for catching my error.....yes, Kendra. :(
Sleep tight, one and all. Jo, you KNOW we are always here for you and each other.
Tomorrow is Sun., but feels like today was, too! Two days of rest!!!
Prayers for all. Love you all!
Been sitting here playing a silly word game. Now it is time to say good night to everyone.
See you tomorrow.
Heading to the shower and bed. Wearing purple to church tomorrow!
Nite all! Thanks for putting up with me today and backing my team. Sure appreciate it! (((Hugs)))
Sweet dreams! Prayers for healing and comfort!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, WANDA AND CAPTAIN GENE!!!!!

Happy Wedding Anniversary Wanda and Gene - May this be your happiest anniversary every ! xoxo ♥ ♥
Hi, I'm an avid NCTC eagle watcher and live in Martinsburg, WV, not far from NCTC. My live cam has been down for days, and the still cam doesn't work either. Is anyone else having trouble too?

quiet night overnight, enjoyed working with Carolyn....sure did not seem like a Saturday night in the old home town !!
I was proofreading my post while your anniversary post was going up !
☺
problems since a few days ago Susan...
will all have to wait until Monday for a possible fix....
but the Royal Pair had been very busy last time we could watch the nest !
am saddened to read of the death of Kendra.....
prayers for her family
time for the pillows and blankies here
been up all night
Best Wishes for a Good Day, everyone...
xoxo
Thanks, Magpie. At least I know it's not just my connection. I'll keep checking back then. I'm anxious to start watching the action!
Morning, all!
I'll take the wax, LOL
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
GOOD MORNING,
EVERYONE.
HOPE YOU HAD A GREAT
NEW YEARS DAY AND
THERE AREN'T TOO MANY
HANGOVERS.
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
C(°Ù¿°)D Jim
Looks like we are in for another rainy day today..
C(°Ù¿°)D Jim
I saw both eagles in the BWE nest when I opened it, and it appears they are feeding on the nest now.... can't remember how long to egg laying from that point, but I remember it's a sign they are progressing well.
C(°Ù¿°)D Jim
Good morning everyone. Happy Anniversary Wanda and Gene
Sorry to read of Kendra's passing too. She wasn't home on hospice long. Hopefully just long enough for some quiet private peaceful family and close friends kind of time. Prayers for those left behind now.
Hoping to see a new thread and working cam at some point today. MTBR
Good morning everyone. So sad for Kendra's family this morning. I cannot imagine.
And so glad that Paula got wax this morning.
I'd venture to say that the hope is slim that we will get either today, Glo. Tomorrow most likely. :(
Jim, BWO egg laying about the same schedule as ours.....end of Jan/early Feb.
Guess as long as your rain is the problem-causing downpours, you all appreciate it and hopefully will decrease drought chances this year.
Susan, stick with us, kid.....the action will be starting soon!
Happy Anniversary Wanda & Gene!!
Sorry you are feeling bad, Sharon. Hope you conquer it fast!
Oh yea, wax goes great with coffee, lol
Stay dry, Jim. think the hangover day was yesterday!
sure hope our cam gets fixed tomorrow.
Hope you feel better soon, Sharon. No fun, I know!
I am off now to get ready for church. Have a nice purple pant suit to wear. :) Will pin on my Horn Frog.
Have a great day and I'll see ya later, Gators!
Good Morning Everyone! I just saw some sunshine (about 5 minute's worth)
but there has been some light rain fall.
This is a very good song for you two!
Happy 52nd Anniversary Wanda & Gene
I'm in need of an eagle fix, gonna check out some cams, then get some stuff done today!
I'll holler if I find any!
Eagle at TH nest!
I think it's raining at the PH nest
Ravens flying around the TH nest also..
LOL, I think the raven is on the TH cam, taunting the eagle. They make really funny sounds!
Eagles at WE with lunch! Wray is tell K51 to stay away from it. Don't know which one brought it in.
Guess that would be breakfast at WE.
Raven gone from TH, eagle still in the nest.
Good Morning Eagle Friends.
I need to catch up on comments.
bbl
ZLooks like K51 brought the fish in, he's got a messy beak.
That is K82 at TH, wonder if she is waiting for breakfast from K81
eagle at BWO drying out.
And gone in a flash from BWO
It's looking pretty foggy in San Diego this morning. Troubles seeing Pandas.
C(°Ù¿°)D Jim
82 in on the TH nest also. Still looks fairly dry there.
C(°Ù¿°)D Jim
Yes, Paula, you can really see and hear it coming down at the PH nest now.
C(°Ù¿°)D Jim
Guess BW found out the old camera would work again, glad they still have a cam on the nest.
Good morning.
I see the TH and WE eagles. Just don't see a fish. I may need new glasses.
The bear is sleeping.
Happy
Two on WE
Happy Anniversary to the love birds.
Question.
Has anyone seen any eagles on the PH nest?
DELTA OWL has 2 cams
close up right into the nest and then
a wide angle view of the tree.
Now I wish we had 2 views so we could see our Royal Couple when they sit up on the branches.
View 2 of 2 DELTA OWL nest
I guess I don't need to update on sleeping bears. lol
Hey, Beagle, hahaha. Wray (the female) just finished off the fish K 51 probably brought in. That's why your eyes aren't scoping the vittles there.
C(°Ù¿°)D Jim
BEagle, K10 made a quick visit on 12/31....they have been pretty much absent from the nest in December. They should start working on the nest more in January.
Jo, you chose a perfect song for our love birds!!
Pretty birds on WE.
That fish was gobbled up fast!
I like the MSN butterfly.
It's obvious the PH eagles have been nestorating, just never catch them on the cam.
Hopefully the KIDS nest eagles will show up. They say sometime in January.
The NCTC cam says mid-January too.
Question.
Is #51 a new partner for Wray?
BEagle, yes it appears so. He showed up a couple of months ago. K01 hasn't been spotted since then.
Okay. I read something about how Wray seems to change partners. It was on the new forum.
Checking out the penguin on the P cam.
cute.
lol.
Lily was upside down there for a minute.
Good morning, everyone.
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to our Wanda and Capt. Gene. Congratulations. May the day be one filled with lovely memories of all you two have accomplished.
Very sad news about Kendra. Prayers for her peace and for her family and friends.
Winter at Blackwater
BEagle, NCTC cam speak is wrong! Our eagles don't leave!!! They just don't stay in the nest day in and day out!! But we know that they drop in frequently. That is what I wrote to Outdoor about, asking them to correct that along with clarifying new cam position only, not a new nest location. They are misleading people who don't know!
Looks like they corrected the NCTC statement Hedgie.
Thanks for the video.
I think what they meant as far as the January thing...it's when activity picks up more.
Taking a break
Will return later
Keep watching for a new thread!!!!!!
I have to say though that this one is
working well... just hard to find it
if your just signing in.
i SEE Hedgie has posted the BW video already. Isn't that a great short-take on the sights and sounds of the refuge??
C(°Ù¿°)D Jim
No, BEagle.....it still says:
We have a new camera and location for the 2011 nesting season. Bookmark this page and so you can easily access it when the eagles return in 2011.
Oooooo. Yes. Great video Hedgie.
Love that kind of noise.
I see what you mean about the note at the NCTC cam now.
They must think season as when they lay the eggs and on and on. You are right..it is misleading.
My last post was very bad. My English!!
Glad Stronghunter is not here at the moment. : )
I hope Lolly did well in her purple outfit at Church.
HedgieThanks for Blackwater video. I loved how they ended it with the eagle call and zooming in on the eagles although YES I enjoyed the whole thing. :-)
Oh-oh......Shirley posted on FB that she is at Mary Washington Hospital............wonder what is wrong??????? Prayers that everything is okay.......
Does anyone have her cell number????
Rainy Sunday here! But Still a
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY DAY FOR WANDA & GENE!!!
Uh oh! What's up with our Shirley?
Home from church. Lots of purple at church. LOL Pastor started with reading a passage from Corinthians about women covering their heads when they pray....and out came the purple TCU cap! With her robe she also had on purple boots. I coveted them but confessed and she forgave me. :)I even put on my class ring and was afraid I could not get it off. However, I used windex and off it came.
Shirley is with Will, getting hurt rib checked
Hey, Loweeda, a purple glow is good.
Sounds like your Pastor has a great sense of humor, Lolly
We bought new icicle led lights this year. Will add more next year. They are just so expensive to replace all at once. The looked blue compared to all the other lights.
Yes, hope we hear something from Shirley!?
Lolly--that's too funny--all that purple at church!
Think some football is on! BBL
Yes, she does, Paula. She is young, early 40's. Our youth minister is still at TCU, he was in purple as well.
With my purple pants suit, I had on my frog earrings, frog pin and a large button pin that said TCU Pride!
Our denomination, Disciples of Christ (Christian Church) does not own the university but is associated with the university. Brite Divinity school is also associated with the university.
Will thinks he has broken a rib, Shirley is with him.
I was trying to catch up but turned on tv. YOU ALL HAVE TO WATCH FOR A MOVIE CALLED: Chestnut Hero Of Central Park.
I think I have it straight now. Shirley does not have a hurt rib.
I was praying for her ribs. Now I am praying for Will's ribs. Shirley may end up with very healthy ribs.
And Lolly's minister is a female?
Latest update on Mason
Guess I best read some of your comments as I was taking a break......
Gee, thanks, Dana....got me bawling!!
Where is our picture of sleeping Mai and her bedtime toy, Lynn?
LOL Beagle, you got me to giggling about Shirley's prayed for ribs.
Yes, our minister is a woman. She is very good, I really like her.
Have a cousins daughter that posted a picture on fb of her two pets. The smaller of the two, her kitty is on the dogs bed. Her dog, is curled up in the kitty's bed that is way too small. So funny!
Ravens game with Cincinnati Bengals is going well so far... 6 - 0 Ravens
Mits is at the game.
Skins starts later today....
Years ago I asked an interim pastor, female, to officiate my Mother's funeral. I liked her a great deal, my mother liked her also. The man minister my Mother adored refused to do the service. ?
There were great women leaders in the Old and New Testament.
Wet at BWO, precip is south and east of the DC/Balt line
Wish I had seen the movie from the start! Good ending!
Jo, haven't downloaded pics from camera to other puter yet.
Are you talking about The Chestnut Hero of Central Park?
I have mounds of laundry.....
My parents were good friends with the very first woman Presby minister---way back in the 50's.
My mother was Presby too.
Headed out to the Outback
Yummy
BEagle I meant to tell you that I had
a Frostie on Friday - thought of you!
BBL
Will's rib is bruised not broken. That is good!
We are getting close to another split!
Yes. Frosties are buff. Also a good reward for knocking out the mounds of laundry.....
Very good idea. I will think of MemaJo then too.
Trips to the attic to get Christmas decorations and then return them doesn't agree with me at all.
There are some people that throw everything away and do new each season. I used to think, "What a waste." Now I think, "How convenient!"
After this post there should be eight posts to a split.
I can count to seven.
My furnace just came on. Cozy.
SIX
What a blast from the vents!!!!
That was 5 and this is 4.
Jack has vacuumed for me. Guess I best go mop a floor or two.
BBL
Just three more BEagle!
My son is changing the laundry over.
Sweet young man that he is. I wonder where he got it from.
That was three, three to get ready.
We can do this!
Did I do the SPLIT?
SPLIT!!!!!!!!!!!
wHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
