WOW - PALMER STILL IN THE NEST at sunrise.

How wonderful to have our beautiful little (?) huge girl at home in her nest for a while longer.

PALMER STILL IN THE NEST AT SUNRISE

What a beautiful sight she is.

Thank you Lord for the gift of having Palmer with us for another morning.

She's just observing the horizon - probably looking for Lib to deliver breakfast!

DOING MORNING WINGERCIZES

Hope she's not getting ready to take off again.

Is she gone or up on a branch. She was very restless, flapping and jumping all over.

No Palmer in the nest. I must have just missed her.

Adult in nest.

stronghunter said...

Adult got tangled in the sticks in the nest.

Eating something that looks tough.

Lori O. said...

Sorry you missed her Strong.

She appeared eager to get out this morning, but maybe a nice breakfast delivery will bring Palmer back soon!

It looks like a turtle that was being eaten earlier. Lynn, I hope Myrtle is safely at your house.

Well hello, Screaming Palmer!

stronghunter said...

Palmer announced her arrival with gusto.

stronghunter said...

Is that leftover turtle or a new one? I see one shell and know there were two. Now, Palmer is munching on the turtle.

stronghunter said...

Adult departed soon after Palmer's arrival.

stronghunter said...

That is, I see one shell in addition to the turtle being eaten.

Lori O. said...

After all her hearty eating yesterday I was hoping she would be back when the food arrived.

Funny girl loves her fish.

stronghunter said...

Yes, I thought she had gotten plenty to eat yesterday, but some last night were worried that she was hungry.

Good morning. So from what I have read Palmer did leave. Adult came in with another turtle and then Palmer came back. Is that right?

kickngbird said...

Quite surprised to see her still there! Sneezy girl - bless you, Palmer

Hi Glo,

Palmer was not at the nest when I first logged on this morning, but she came screaming back when an adult was eating a turtle. I think it was a new turtle, because I believe the two shells there were empty. That should mean there are three turtle shells in the nest now. Palmer is resting there right now.

stronghunter said...

In fact, it looks like Palmer is resting on top of one or two turtle shells.

I watched Paula's videos last night. I'm so grateful to Pammy and Paula for doing that for those of us who didn't get to watch live!

Anyway, I thought screaming Palmer's return was hilarious at one point: there's a skinny branch sticking up in the nest between her and Lib, and she's having a hissy fit and trying to get her point across but the skinny branch is right in front of her face so she just snaps it and keeps right on screeching to him about her "issues," never missing a beat.

She's standing up now
