Basically what's happening is our voltage regulator for the cam microwave feed is going bad. We have ordered another one. Seems like we are in the process of replacing things in the cam system one by one. We're working on it...
I did the test Norma that is pretty neat thank you.
It is on the eagle nest page, on the right side Osprey cam then Eagle Facts click on eagle facts then at the bottom of that page is the quiz. Pretty Neat Lisa.
Oh I just have to tell you all this one newspaper here says: Fleetwood, Pa. Berks County Humane Society employees are trying to get the jump on a wallaby. Residents have reported seeing the creature haopping around town. It's unclear how one ended up about 50 miles northwest of Philadelphia. Wallaabies, which look very similar to kangaroos, are native to Australia and Papua New Guinea. The Lehigh Vally Zoo, about 20 miles away in Schnecksville, said it was not missing a wallaby.
Good Morning Everyone! Cams Cams & More Cams Love the NE one - I remember we always said it was heart shaped. I got my 5 min call to fame on the Beakspeak home page up top. I had included Jason-Webmaster when I forwarded the first egg pic to my friends.WhoaHo! Bundle up, Glo!
KINDA KEEP AN EYE ON THE BW OSPREY NEST TO SEE IF THE EAGLE PAIR SHOWS UP TOGETHER...IF THEY DO, THEY'RE PROBABLY NOT THE SAME PAIR AS AT THE EAGLE NEST...OK?
I THINK IT IS THE SAME PAIR, BUT THEY DON'T LOOK THE SAME FROM OVERHEAD.
GOOD MORNING EVERYONE Roflmbo....reading Suzannes' and Danas' running converstion about BW eagles. Jo, did you remember to say Good Night to me last night:):):)? Been watching Santa Cruz this a.m., # 10 was there, and after she left, little bird sat for awhile. West End and Two Harbors are up, but no eagles. Haven't looked at any other cams yet, going to go now. Have a great day...SHARON, I AGREE, WHEN IS OUR CAM GOING TO GET FIXED!!!!!!
27° in Bluefield, wind NW at 16 mph. Sun looks to be trying to come out but that will probably be short-lived. The ground is white but probably just 1/2 inch of snow so far. This is the part I love about working at home.
OK so here's the deal. I should never fix a cup of tea and plan to sit and watch the nCTC eagles for a while. second time ths week my plan has failed. :(
Well ya know, that makes sense at BW, because I believe the eagle cam is behind the visitor center and the osprey cam is in front of the visitor center...so if you look waaaaaaaay back on the osprey cam, behind the visitor center is where the eagle cam would be.
Mits, I feel your frustration, as I'm sure NCTC does also....We just need to keep the faith that all these kinks will be worked out by the time we have eaglets hatching!
That is really the most important time....believe me, I want to see everything they are doing all the time also...but in the scope of things...on down the road really is the most important part....
I do enjoy seeing them fixing up the nest, eating, mating and everything that happens beforehand... as none of us got to experience that last year. It really makes it a whole new learning experience this year being able to see the pre-egg activities.
Well I know I am realy so much hoping to at least have the live feed running consistently to be able to watch Belle lay those eggs in the nest this year. I am not trying to be selfins and I know folks are trying. I jsut would love to experience that with the nest and pair I have grown som much to love in a very Free wonderful sense of the word!
PAULA I agree. Do you remember when L&B did the "DANCE OF LOVE"? I'm thinking 2 weeks past that, there should be an egg, like the time frame at FLA and BW.
The first mating in Florida was on Nov 14 or so, that was witnessed, and then there wasn't an egg till Dec 7, so I am thinking it is not eggs-actly 5-10 days after first mating....
L & B have for 3 years laid eggs in Feb, between the 6 & 15, so I think that is the same story for this year....
Afternoon everyone wow u'all really been busy busy....Dead fish in BW nest with her ... Belle in our nest eating she sure is a wide load...lol...Becareful on the roads Dana & Suz & Jo...Not staying long need shower for work... Buta was asleep... BBL
watchin live feed and its getting reall crappy again lines n such...better now Belle is squawkin... ut oh jumpy n lines again... really windy see Belle head feathers flying.. snow showers... More jumpin of the camera n black lines woderin if the wind has something to do with that Hmmmmm... Buta Buta is just playing with lil bamboo n a piece of something rollin around ...

I am so glad that I got to incubate Andrew on the inside. Otherwise, I am sure I would have crushed him if I had to lay on top of him!
I got #300 and didn't even know we were close. When I posted, it was like at 287. Busy little bloggers on here this morning.
What a beautiful pair up in NE.
We have missed so much with our cam being down.
No zoo today, Norma, been there 2 days this week, glad I don't have a shift tomorrow...really looks like it will be cold.
Ah, the WAX QUEEN is alive and well.:):)

The Jefferson Cam is beautiful this a.m.
1 eagle at NE is very busy, the other is sitting on its feathered butt.
Cam is up!!
Good Lord, Tai is trying to tackle Mom. My sound is working, Norma.
LIVE FEED IS UP!!!!
Hey Suz the cam is up!!!!
And yes, Nilla saw them last Saturday, I think it was
THANKS FOR THE HEADS UP.....PAULA....THANKS NCTC.
NE eagles still in the nest...but their cam looks a little whacky at the moment.
OUR NEST IS MT, BUT LOOKS LIKE SOME SCRAPS LEFT IN IT
YEA.....EAGLE ALERT.
LIVE FEED IS UP TOO!!
Eagle alert!!!!
Sure is great to see OUR eagle in OUR nest!
got so excited forgot to hit the publish button!!
Looks like Belle to me
Keep blogging - I'll be out of here for about 3 hours... BBL
Snowing again and winds NW at 21. Cold, cold!
Is that a stick or a fish???
OR a fishstick!! HaHa!
ROFLMBO...GOOD ONE PAULA!!!!!
Anyone elses live feed sorta hanging up...running slow...stopping...starting...
So far mine is working like a charm, Paula...knock on wood!!!!
Yes, Norma, but give credit where credit is due...it was Paula that made the fishstick comment, not Suzanne:):):):)!
Yes eagle viewing at nCTC is back. The msot beautiufl site of all. Thanks to whomever got us to be able to see this nest and its action once again.
So, Steve, is it fixed, or did it start working on its own, or did you climb up and give it a whack???
Inquiring minds want to know!!
Birdie must be full :)
Belle just flew in..........
I think it is snowing at our nest, they are predicting snow showers for the are there.
Liberty looks like he wants to barf over the side of nest, nope took off.
OK, I'LL BE THE NAG...WE NEED A NEW THREAD
Lib just came back.
Well, I'm not going to get anything done today. 1 just flew off again.
She took off at BW egg alone.
well which ever one just flew in has arrived with a tree LOL
live-feed went down....how frustrating is this????????????
Belle just took off, missed getting the shot.
OK so here's the deal. I should never fix a cup of tea and plan to sit and watch the nCTC eagles for a while. second time ths week my plan has failed. :(
Glo, you need one of those gadgets to fix tea in your computer room.
How sweet, DAD just delivered a fish @ BW.
OK so the eagle we thought was Belle was Liberty? and now he is gone and she is still there?
YES that was cool at BW. Have picture of dad at osprey with fish and then sec s later delivers it to Mom at eagle nest Cool!!!!
And did they eat the fishstick?
Well ya know, that makes sense at BW, because I believe the eagle cam is behind the visitor center and the osprey cam is in front of the visitor center...so if you look waaaaaaaay back on the osprey cam, behind the visitor center is where the eagle cam would be.
I missed all that good action - had to restart computer :(
Mits, I feel your frustration, as I'm sure NCTC does also....We just need to keep the faith that all these kinks will be worked out by the time we have eaglets hatching!
