All I can tell you is the box has been ordered and it's being shipped fedex. Hopefully we'll see it early next week. I'm sure the eguys will get the cam up tomorrow antil we can get that box installed. ALso, the software that solves the live cam lockup was ordered as well.

Howdy, Everyone....
It's a beautiful, sunny, cool winter Sunday in Southern Cal. The weather site was threatening showers for several days, but I haven't seen anything yet.
I was watching the Port St. Lucie female a few minutes ago, and it looked like she might be ready to let that clutch go... But she just stretched a while, scratched under her chin some, walked around the nest a while. Then she settled back down on the egg(s)... perhaps until Doomsday.
Whatever signal she was supposed to get from Mother Nature was apparently missed.
I saw one eagle on the Cam 1 tree limb at Kent but no nest activity at that time.
Did you see the GoogleEarth.com shots at BW?? That software is free, and I might get it soon...my uncle in Sioux City sent a couple of shots of our old stomping grounds near Torrey Pines Park in San Diego County (He's my mother's youngest brother, about my age, and he used spend years at time living with us in California). They are kind of flat because of the great altitude they are taken from, but it's very interesting anyway.
Well, better get back to the grindstone (there's never any rest for us bad boys).

Hello, tried to say good-bye from other side of the bridge, but blogger-cop kicked me off. Yes, that was snow on Lady BW, actually snow, sleet, etc, we stopped at BW on the way home, saw 2 eagles flying away from spot we were at, and Lonely Louie at the osprey nest. Lady in gift shop, where cams are, didn't seem to know too much except, they had just changed sitting on eggs right before we got there, she knew female eagle was the larger eagle. Every time I tried to open car window to get a better look, snow came flying into the car. My computer at beach, I think, has a major virus, will deal with it next time I go down.
WOW, still raining at SC.

Welcome back home Mits. Glad you made it safely. It is snowing really hard in Bluefield. We were going to Wytheville this evening but turned around and came home. The roads were horrible. Glad to be home safe and sound.

Geez, its 16°at Bluefield, we have a balmy 31° here in Bethesda, oopppss, make that 30°, temp just dropped.
Yes, Mattie is here with me. We visited with Thelma a little while and then made the trek home in the snow. Pretty nasty out there.
They said it was supposed to get down to 15° but it was 10° on Thelma's porch.

Morning Suzanne. It is sooo cold and windy out, 14° here. Momma at BW is sure tucked in tight on those eggs. Hardly saw her get up at all yesterday.
WOw, just walked back outside to warm up the van so we can head to the bus stop...brrrrrrr..... missed her getting up at BW, still only 2 eggs, huh?

Good Morning all. I will be off to coffee and dog treats here very soon. Once I get myself and my dogs bundled up that is. Still very cold here but not at all like yesterday. Neighbors saw 15 eagles or more down by the bridge yesterday so this morning the camera has freshly charged batteries and I am off in the cold to see the eagles...WHY because at least here they really love the cold.
