Belle is really sitting around the nest.
Glo's guess is 18th (tonight), my guess is 19 (Fri. night) as to when Belle will stay in nest overnight. Anyone else want to guess. It's only a guess. But fun to see who gets it right.??????
Wonder if this will be Belle's first night in the nest..she sure is hanging out there this morning. Maybe she's too full to fly after breakfast.
Kent is staring to show see the nest has lost alot of the snow from in it. Still needs more light.
Buta Buta has wiggled some but that is about it. Of course out of nest as soon as cam came on and she was laying on the concrete floor I think near fence area.

Belle is just sitting there so nice. NORMA, FLA was great, and Tai was his usual wonderful cub.
Love the way Belle gets all fluffy.

Eagle in BW eagle nest both were there one flew out probably be back again.
I wish I could get my trash can back..and my pic. The article was in the style section, all about the amount of eagles who winter over at Blackwater. Really nice article. It was called the Bald and the Bountiful.

All little about me, I am a mid-lifer nursing school student. (Most of the people I go to school with are younger than my child!) But I have the life experience on my side, can't get that from a text book!
I have been watching various eagle cams for the last 5 years or so, back in the day of that dreadful dial up - used to have a great one in Alaska - but this is awesome, never a dull moment with these creatures!

I predict a smaller brood this year, they need a little break from all the hard work last year! Maybe just 1 or 2 young-uns!

To be honest, don't read it like I used to, get a lot of my news from internet new sites. But hubby buys it avery day, and showed me the article yesterday, it was just inside the Style section.

Paula, hubby never said a word, just laid the paper in front of me, and I started to complain that "I didn't want to read someone's interesting obituary or some political article right now"...and then I saw the eagle pic and grabbed the paper. He walked away laughing.
LOL...Megan, sounds like something I would do. My hubby is the same, if he finds something about eagles or pandas he passes it along..now that is true love.
Norma saw your post on Daily Motion...that you found and watched yesterdays video. I am glad you got to see it. I don't think that happens very often. at least I hope for everyone sake that it doesn't.

OK Paula and Dana I took the polls and cast my vote. I was thinking yesterday that Friday was the 18 , so on the poll I voted for Fri the 19th LOL. I think that pretty much covers teh 18th and 19th for me.

Hi Ya Kidsssss...Not staying long had to get up and take Dawn to Hagerstown to have a jaw tooth pulled this morning.... Stopped and checked how things were down home... Right now i am in alot of pain but took a Vicodan and getting sleepy...Hope all went well with Sharons test this morning... Need to lay down.. Hugs to all.. Nilla
Missed it, Paula, they said because it is a solar-powered cam, it would mess up sometimes. because of fog and clouds. I love they way it is perched high above the water.

Good afternoon everybody. I was home by 9:30 a.m. and went straight to bed. Colonoscopy went well, didn't even know it was happening. It did not show anything that would cause the liver abscess so I don't know what the next step will be in finding the origin of it. More will definitely be revealed.

Lun Lun was just dragging Buta Buta around by her hind leg, still is. She was just going back and forth. Now Buta wants to play I think. Oh no, now she is dragging her by her ear!
Lun Lun looked like she was practicing her acrobatics on the big limb in the hallway!
Now Buta is checking out the limb.
So glad to see Sharon and Nilla both came in. Hope you both soon get to feeling much better though.

Well my vote for the Inruder video yesterday is an immature eagle too. It was large enough that I feel good if its one of our young from last year as ti is probably thriving well!!!

I see a new educational toy in the den for ButaButa... LunLun couldn't figure how to get on the other side of it to get to ButaButa awhile ago. Now I see our Little Princess sound asleep under it. Hopefully she will learn the basics of tree climbing.
Sharon, glad your procedure went well and you are home again. Hope Nilla is resting, slow down woman til you find out what is wrong. I can't watch the video nest intruder:( but when I went to the nest the other day, I am quite sure it was a juvenile sitting in a tree near the nest. And one of the adults was sitting directly above the nest. It is their first winter so they are not expert hunters and cold here now and they are probably trying to see if they can get any food from parents.
I don't know if poor Buta Buta has that pole figured out or not. Maybe she feels trapped.
Glo remember you and me were guessing the first night Belle would spend in nest. Well after reviewing things I am guessing between you and me and the tree stump lol and anyone else that wants to play. Night in nest Feb.10th a Saturday I also have did both of the polls.

Yes Glo that is quite a change. I know they did the deed but I'm looking back at last season. I don't know if she could handle this hard weather with egg or eggs.

Florida nest is up...Mom still incubating the eggs. Poor eagle. I know that we are watching "Mother Nature in the Raw", but I still feel sorry for this eagle couple.

Iris, my friend is about 15 mins. from Ft. Lauderdale airport, it is so easy coming and going at that airport, makes traveling there a piece of cake.
Yep Florida right now is way too much like Hornsby last year. I haven't loaded it again. I can't watch that...too sad. Too many sounds still echo in my ears from Hornsby pair .

Can't seen any difference if you turn bottle upside down even clean water. Man on CNN put his pager in the compartment in the water bottle. Couldn't see it. Using these bottle for drugs. Just twist the top of bottle and it's a little pepsi or water.

Andrew goes to Virginia Tech for the VPI Honor Band this weekend. The concert is Sunday at 1 p.m. He has to go tomorrow and Saturday for auditions and rehearsals! Love that kid!
It is 37° in Bluefield and we are supposed to have a little snow tomorrow.
I can't get into the chat. Tried and tried last night and there is something screwed up on my computer with the Java thing. I think it has to do with the new Internet Explorer. Seems like I had that problem when I tried to use the new IE before. Aggravating!
