I think the couples dining together has been pretty good at BW too today. Just a good MOnday for the eagles and the eagle watchers :)

Looks like the BW eagle has some feathers maybe laying in nest. Where they pulled for more "brood spot".

For certain - Lisa says that there are 2 eggs for BlackWater nest. I thought I had seen another object earlier.

Mits you know how in the Maine eagle nest we could hear the eagles calling back and forth. Have you ever heard that in the SC cam??
No, Dana, not yet, but, when I have the cam down at the bottom of my screen, I hear their wings flapping when they are landing or taking off.
Yes me too it's so funny we don't hear them calling. Have been listening for that since Maine has been down. But no calling.

Very, very sorry to hear Barbaro had to be put down...what a great horse.
He was probably already gone, but I was reading about the latest abcess, etc., while eating lunch. It seems the broken bones had healed, and he probably would have made it except for the laminitis. This evening they said the prognosis had taken a nose dive, and he would have been suffering a lot...guess they made the right decision, and I'm glad they made as much effort to save him as they did.

Yes, Jim, I'm glad they tried so hard also, said they learned alot and next time might help another horse if the same type of scenario plays out. Say what you will about horse-racing that horse was happy when he was racing. RIP DEAR BARBARO!

Afternoon dear friends. Sharon, let us know when the CT scan is scheduled we need to start our prayer chain. Hope you are feeling better. I am better, but the older you are the harder it is to recover. You should rebound wonderfully!!!!!!!!!!! I read about the feral and stray cats. I never had the luxury of selecting a pet. They always pick me it seems. Feral cats can be tamed, but it is very difficult. The young ones usually lhve the higher success rate. My Miss Kitty was a young feral. When she was finally captured, it took me 3 days to find her in the house. She would come out and eat when we were gone or at night and use the litter boxes we had scattered through the house. Finally, I got her cornered in our bedroom, locked the door, kept food and water and litter in there and after about 3 months she slowly came around. Now she sleeps between me and hubby and she is like having one of the grandkids around. BUT on the otherhand, my vet took one of the cats captured with Miss Kitty and and he never got Gabe to the point that I have Miss Kitty, so go figure. He still has to run Gabe down and catch him for shots and what ever check ups, even though Gabe is an inside cat, too. Any way I WILL ctch up with blog as soon as my head quits hurting so much. I have miss you all so much. Hope you have been praying for me. I love you all, too. donna

Megan, apparently no one has heard from Nilla. I've asked twice, and there's no news. I'm pretty sure she had a doctor's appointment yesterday.
I have never seen LunLun so restless.I don't know her routine like Mei & Tai's, but she will not settle down. I hope they comment on her actions on the update today.
