LOri, cam went back up esterday morning. Still later in the day. Then live was down for a little while late yesterday afternoon for maintenance. Of course, still no night-light....:(
I bring up the blog page, and still have nothing more recent showing than last Thurs. I have to double-click on the title to get more recent links to show.....weird. Wonder how many others are still stuck on Th.?
Soon off to get my "do" did. It will be an adventure and my first attempt to access a marginally handicapped building. Will require wheelchair and walker.
Have a nice morning and I'll check in this afternoon.
Dana that's so funny because I was thinking of you - what a grat day for you - that cams were all on and the eagles were here that you would be soooo happy!
Although, it IS possible to have a marginally handicapped structure. My front porch roof is MARGINALLY HANDICAPPED...we need a new one and soon...ready to fall down. Squirrels gnawed their way into the roof and nested there. Rainwater followed and rotted the wood. Ka-Ching!
Carolyn pulled a good one last night! Locker her keys in her car at work----which she realized this morning when she was ready to leave. They had to call the police for an unlock. Margy told her she would rib her about it tonight when they go back in!! (Argh----worst part is that people got to see the interior of her car, which embarrasses me to death. IT is the worst and dirtiest mess I ever saw. Takes after her dad in that respect.
Been there and done that, Lynn. I bought a tote for the family member who is so messy and suggested throwing everything in there and sorting through every so often...worked for a little while...don't know how it is now!
Just went and checked on Lily. They are supposed to go to the den today. Going to try to improved the sound there and adjust the cam. Also going to work on the remote control of the cam. Should be interesting to see Lily and Hope's reaction.
Good Morning all. Two visits already make it a special day!
Lynn, just saw Mai's photos. She is adorable. I too have sewn many a dog toy back together. My dog loved the squeaky inside. Would bite it out and then discard the toy! We called it a squeakectomy!
Our youngest daughter(Karla) used to take any moveing part out of her toys. She had an Indian which made a war hoop sound and then stuck it's tongue out...tongue disappeared, along with the ducks quacker and the rolling eys of something! Gotta watch those kids and dogs:)
I'm sorry to report that I did NOT win the Mega Millions, so no new computers or trail cams for you :(
MISSED both visits today by minutes. I really miss the sound...so easy to hear them coming so I could RUN to computer!
Just got back from emissions with the truck. FAIL. We already knew that is was going to fail, but getting the official word was depressing. Emissions fixes are usually expensive. Going to have to call around and find out just how much. We have til May 11.
I missed the early visiting but apparently they were working on the nest...bringing in a stick. Second visit I saw. They brought in fluff and then Belle sat down cozy like in the egg cup.
Wanda, none of the kids or grandkids have taken things apart, but Zach always turned things over and over, trying to figure out how it worked. That child's memory is unbelievable too.
Apparently the tree is on it's way out, dangerous for those working on the cam. So no telling how much longer the tree and nest will last, BUT it does look like we are good for at least one more year.
I so want there to be at least two little eaglets. It is so much fun watching the interaction between the eaglets. My first year there were three. So interesting to watch!
My market van failed emissions the last two times I took it in. We dumped alcohol in the gas tank, ran it on the highway for about 35 minutes at 50 mph and took it back and passed both times. We were lucky to not have to repair anything.
Bear cam adjustment for motion is for the external cam. Once they readjust in-den cam today, it will most likely not be moved again. Jim, nest pics in Momsters album on Yahoo. Lynne, Megan's tip is worth a try!! Heading out shortly. See y'all later.
They did the On Board Diagnostic test through the computer under the dash. It's and oxygen heater sensor that's cattywampus. $450 is maximum what you HAVE to spend for repair and if that doesn't fix it, you get a waiver.
P.S. Mai so far has only chewed open her doggy. They had an elastic band sewn into the only seam....after she chewed it off she got the seam itself open. Squeakers are in the fur paws and are safe so far!!

Good Morning Sissy, Wanda, Hedgie, and Dana.
Glad you had the pleasure of seeing our beauties this morning, Lori:)
They are gorgeous, Wanda, and isn't amazing how wonderful their presence makes us feel?
Lori, did your birthday dog enjoy the meatloaf cake?
Well Lori I was here and walked away from the computer.
No one even said because of all the excitement ---where is Dana????? She was the first on this morning.
Lori don't feel so badly that you was typing on the wrong thread. You got to see them that is what matters.
Dumb me grrrrrrrrr at myself!!!!!!
Yes, it does make one feel so good to see them...makes the day complete!
I guess we all assumed you were watching, Dana...don't forget to set aside the evening visit time for watching and waiting:) 5ish.
lol Wanda I'll probably be right here then walk away to do something this evening and miss them again lol grrrrr at myself!

Good morning, everyone.
Soon off to get my "do" did. It will be an adventure and my first attempt to access a marginally handicapped building. Will require wheelchair and walker.
Have a nice morning and I'll check in this afternoon.
Oh, great to know they pop in about 5-ish PM.
Um, the building is not marginally handicapped -- access for handicapped is marginal. lol
Dana that's so funny because I was thinking of you - what a grat day for you - that cams were all on and the eagles were here that you would be soooo happy!
Well, tonight it's your turn.
If I can stay awake, I'll check in around 5ish.
Judie, that was too funny:)
Judie - love your cardinal.
It's the official Christmas decoration of my house.
Although, it IS possible to have a marginally handicapped structure. My front porch roof is MARGINALLY HANDICAPPED...we need a new one and soon...ready to fall down. Squirrels gnawed their way into the roof and nested there. Rainwater followed and rotted the wood. Ka-Ching!
Eagle butt visible at BWE.
Hey, Lori, we've all done that at one time or another. :0 You should have yelled at me when you were here the other day!
Lynn, maybe you need to clear your history. Or make sure your bookmark is
http://eaglecam.blogspot.com/
Eagle in full view at BWE now :)
20 second refresh at BWE is nice
So far so good on John's power fix!
Mine is still refreshing at 45 sec.?
Both at BWE now
BWO is 45 sec, BWE is at 20 sec
Working hard at BWE
45 sec refresh for me with BWE cam.
Eagles gone at BWE
Have you turned off your computer lately, Megan?
Couple of days ago, maybe I'll try that later. I still have 45 sec refresh for both cams.
Eagle alert....is that food?
EAgle our nest!
Back in nest!!!! YooHoo!!!
Paula, cleared history---didn't make any difference. Yep, correct address....same one as always.
Nope, it's a big clump of smooshed fluff
Looks like Belle
Looks either like a hunk of old fur or maybe a clump of moss....
Trying to smash it into the nest cup.
Smooshing it into the bowl
LOL, checking out the fluff needs. Yup more fluff needed
Now that looks like a roosting pose!
What a treat, twice in one morning!
Eagle at BWO with fish
Looking comfy in our nest bowl
Judie, enjoy your pampering. Trusting that Darth will be with you to navigate the obstacles!
I see an eagle!
Maybe Belle is practicing being still!!
Where's Dana?
Have not read the blog yet but that sure looks strange to see her sitting down, Have been reading the paper and keeping an eye on the cam,
DANA is really going to be mad at herself now:)
I see that eagle in our nest.
Taking a rest?
Or test run
Eagle at BWO didn't finish fish...waiting on mate?
My BWE and BWO are showing 45 sec
I refreshed but it didn't change..
Good Morning
Getting ready for Dental......
Good morning,
Enjoying the view of our eagle resting in the nest. Lovely sight.
I slept in this morning.
Much to do around here this morning.
Hi Eagle fans!
What a pretty sight on the nest. After my long drawn out appointment this morning...it's refreshing to see that pretty eagle on the nest. Yay
AND Lori was on here this morning too! Hi Lori!
What a nice day. Got to scoot!
♥
This is a preview of what is to come
See you all later.... Take pics for
E_M Album........
BBL
Send a pic to Steve please if you can
Up and looking around...watching something
Lib, Maybe? In the tree
I did put a pic of earlier visit in the album.
Carolyn pulled a good one last night! Locker her keys in her car at work----which she realized this morning when she was ready to leave. They had to call the police for an unlock. Margy told her she would rib her about it tonight when they go back in!!

Still watching...up on the back now
Off she went to the right, and down under the nest towards the back
That was a cool view to see her fly off.
Poof! I like it when we can see them fly down below the cam.
Now I will say good morning! :)
Been there and done that, Lynn. I bought a tote for the family member who is so messy and suggested throwing everything in there and sorting through every so often...worked for a little while...don't know how it is now!
I love the 'fly off' too, but wish we could hear those wings flapping!
Yes, I really miss the soun.
sound!
Mai is having a dream....twitching and making weak little barking noises. So cute! Hope it's a GOOD dream!
Just went and checked on Lily. They are supposed to go to the den today. Going to try to improved the sound there and adjust the cam. Also going to work on the remote control of the cam. Should be interesting to see Lily and Hope's reaction.
So funny to watch sleeping dogs have dreams.
Did you all see the Christmas video Joey created? You got to meet Bosco.
Just read back on the blog and saw where Lynn was calling us all bird brains. LOL Guess that is a good description.
Good Morning all. Two visits already make it a special day!

So Cal dry and cool for the day. They're not predicting more rain through the next 10 days.
Has anyone seen our pair recently??
C(°ٿ°)D Jim
Sorry Lynn about the emissions failure as well as the lack of lotter winning. Shucks, was really counting on a trail cam for the pond. Oh well.......
Jim, the eagles have been in the nest twice this morning!
I'm very glad to hear it, Lolly.
We have the pics that Steve and the guy from the last thread took too.
Has anyone seen the signs that the old Sycamore is not doing too well??
It looks like the pair will use it this year again for sure, but how long a future does the tree look to have??
It looks fine on cam so far.
C(°ٿ°)D Jim

Jim, check out the pics on one of Wanda's blog, she has pics showing the tree trimming they did when they were mounting the cam.
I need to get up and moving and start my day. I could sit here all day and watch cams!
I will be monitoring the cams as I work. Have a great day everyone!
Keep an eye on the bear cam for interesting activity today.
BBL
Megan, are you talking about your new van? It isn't exempt because of age and/or historic tags?
And I think there's a dollar limit that they will allow for when getting emmissions stuff fixed.
No, the old van. New one is exempt.
Lily is sticking her head out!
Bear cam adjustment for motion is for the external cam. Once they readjust in-den cam today, it will most likely not be moved again.
Jim, nest pics in Momsters album on Yahoo.
Lynne, Megan's tip is worth a try!!
