Library of Congress. Pages like Frank went to school there.☺ Game was 24 to 19. Nasty Jets were creeping up on them. Don't think Steelers scored at all in 2nd half.
Margy and BEagle---I posted on Friday that there I s Coopers Hawk in the Library of Congress....they can't find a point of ingress, and so far have been unsuccessful in attempts to get it out.
Okay, thanks for all the answers about the Cooper's Hawk and the Library of Congress.... speedreading has its downfalls... been doing some of that during these night shifts
and thanks for the football game score
Good Night to all headed to pillows...I'm not far behind, heated blanket doing its thing...
Prayers for all our many needs, and grateful prayers for many gifts given
Yes, Margy...Feb. 9 is on a Wednesday. I was looking at my desk calendar and it is still a 2010 on! OK...let's try to get a group together. Think about it.
Emails are going back and forth to and from PA & former PA relatives!!!My Aunt said,"we're going to the Super Bowl." Afraid she meant the team, not her family!! I wish! Getting late, so must say to all, Pleasant Feather Dreams ;>)
TY, Lolly. I just went there to put on update! I didn't realize cubs had so much dark coloring, too. First pic I saw of one showed a lot of pink feet/legs, so thought there wasn't much fur. No wonder they're so hard to see--camo!! Gonna check news~~ Nighty-Nite ☺
I am really "turned off" by the super bowl. It is a rich mans entertainment. It sickens me! All the small airports around here are talking about all the corporate jets that will be flying in. I am really tired of all the super bowl talk!!!!!
Hi, Everyone, Well, little Miss Emma is home, and very happy, indeed! She enjoyed her stay at Doggie Camp. They really like her--think she is very sweet, and smart, too--she was retrieving a tennis ball for them! They are impressed. She enjoyed her bath, and we noticed right away that her fur looks all wavy now. The bath brought out waves in her fur. Looks really cute! The guy said that she was just fine. She settled down with her bath towel and the Humane Society throw that we left with her. They smelled like both of us, and they guy said she acted really cute and made herself a comfy bed with them. She didn't eat all of the food we left there for her, but really made up for that as soon as she was home. She has never eaten a meal that fast before! She ran around and played for a while after digesting her meal, and is asleep again now. Guess there's no place like home! We are happy that we now have somewhere to leave her if we have to travel. We will take her with us if at all possible, but if not, we know she will be well cared for.
Before I forget, I need to wish a HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Jo's Ed! Hope it was a wonderful day for you!
Golly, I am SO tired right now! Will be hard to stay awake for Masterpiece Classics. Love that show!
Hope the winds will have died down by tomorrow. Have HUGE amounts of leaves and tree berries in the yard, front AND back! Rats. No rest for the weary!
HAVE to find a puppy class for Emma now. Going to be a bit difficult with my school schedule. At our Petco, the classes are not always on the same day of the week. Want very much to socialize Emma with other dogs, but might have to have private lessons because of the schedule. Gotta get her trained to "heel" ASAP, though, so we can go for walks and use up some of her boundless energy! Unbelievable!
Prayers for the family and friends of the young man that died. Such a sorrowful thing to lose someone so young!
Well, going to say goodnight, and get ready to watch my TV show. Prayers have been said for everyone. The eye-scanner security and Dana's thumbprint-scanner security are enabled. The porch light is on, and I'm checking on the night light. Sleep tight, everyone, and I will talk to you tomorrow. God bless, and goodnight! Love all of you! :o]
Well, the crew is here to start on the houses (across the street). They have one of those humongous machines that break up rocks and it is driving me crazy...been nearly a month now and is sooo loud! It is a constant, all day long:(
I just open the cam on one browser, then make it smaller, then open another browser to view all the other sites I'm on. This way the cam is always visible.
Good morning everyone. Guess I missed the early morning visit. Will pop up the pop up now though. Busy next 4 days and then plans looking good for travel this coming weekend.
Good Morning all! It was 4.1 here at 7am when I took the dogs out. Sure wish I would have thought to get a picture of the thermometer! Up to 7.7 now. Sunny! No wind!
I dreamed about finding Lily, Hope and babies last night! Only the were in an old barn, and the cubs were white! I was saying "it's me bear" but felt that I couldn't get the diction just right. But they were not unhappy to see me. When I first got there, the cubbies were really little but they got really big while I was there all in the same visit! I was feeding them grapes! The last thing I remember was that I was trying to keep other people away from them who were hiking in the area.
Meanwhile, the car battery was dead this morning and the water in the washing machine pipes and hoses was partially frozen. Our laundry room is off of the sunporch and behind the little room where the furnace is. There is heat out there, but very little. It usually stays about 45 in there, but it was 36 this morning in the middle of the room, and probably close to freezing on the outside wall where the washer and dryer are. So the washer sputtered a few seconds before it started to fill. But all is well, so far! We have no control over that heat source. It's attached to the apt.over the garage, but it doesn't get warm like the rest of the house. I won't put a space heater out there, eps. at night due to fear of fire.
Sad to hear the news of Jack Lalanne's passing yesterday. Jack Lalanne My former mother and I used to exercise with him, but mostly I liked his white German Shepherd dogs!
awful about the pipe though. Thank goodness we haven't had that problem! I have kept a thin stream of water running in the kitchen. Supposed to keep the pipes from freezing. But I get once it gets REALLY cold....

GOOD PLAN, JO...Dinner at Rumsey at 5pm and on to NCTC with a stop at the nest if we have time:)
GOOD NIGHT MY FRIENDS
PRAYERS FOR ALL
Heading to bed. Got a quick glimpse of an very vocal little cub. Also, saw our Hope. Bless her heart!
Sweet dreams!
Eagle just flew in!
A PAIR OF BEAUTIES IN OUR NEST:)
My mistake, thought there were 2...need new glasses, REALLY!
I only see one eagle, went right to the nest cup and is pulling fluff up all around it's body.
Up again but continuing to pull fluff towards the egg cup.
Yeah, two beauties,
You and Megan, Wanda ! ☺
ha,ha yeah right...
wiggle wiggle, getting that cup just right. Looking around the sky for company I guess.
IMHO< I think the nest looks very messy...needs more smoothing out. Maybe it is just the new cam view.
Up towards cam, then back to egg cup. Tucking fluff up against breast.
Lib thinks there is too much fluff in the cup...takes some out, then puts some back in. He's crazy in Love;)
And back up looking over the side of nest, looking around, flew off to he left.
Gone to get more fluff:)
And right back, both now!
Belle is moving the fluff he just put there:)
Now I see two!
Haha I only see one! One just flew out-
Poof! MT nest
Megan, I guess it is close to time to start your seedlings?
Soon, once I start, the GH has to be heated nonstop, so I'm stalling a little.
Margy must have gone Nighty, Nite:)
Well, the crew is here to start on the houses (across the street). They have one of those humongous machines that break up rocks and it is driving me crazy...been nearly a month now and is sooo loud! It is a constant, all day long:(

Glo, I'm glad you were forced to stay with your son for a while longer. Do hope you have a beautiful, photo filled trip home!
It is warmer in Ely, Minn. than it is here! 4° here, 10° there! Yikes!
