I can hear the wind blowing at the nest! Thought I heard some bird sounds this morning, but decided it was outside my office window. This wind sound is definitely coming from the nest site! This is a promising development!
I can hear the wind at the nest better here at home. Never have had good sound at the nest at work.

Just between you all and me. Those guys are going to keep working on it till we have sound better and their trying to get the infrared.

Hi! I am back for a second. Jack and I went and bought a few groceries and a birthday present for me. LOL A new kitchen faucet! Actually, I have already received more additions to my new dishes.
When we got home I went out and finally planted my tulips! I've been playing in the dirt! That is sooooo good for the soul!
Supposed to be straightening a little, but looks like no company tomorrow. We have winter mix a comin!!! Laurel, in the far frozen north, is expecting an accumulation of 2 to 4 inches. Do NOT want them traveling here!

I'll just get Jack to take me to the movies. Still have not seen the latest Harry Potter movie and both want to see it. Theatre is not far from our house, so if the roads are not bad we can go.

No, Wanda, I have not worked with the new video yet. I recorded some but have not taken the time to load the program on to the computer. This week was busy with going to Laurel's and dismantleing Christmas. Probably will learn what to do this week. Have never loaded to utube. That should be interesting.
I have finished for today. Having a glass of wine and enjoying doing nothing.
If I am snowed in or iced in, I will just learn how to use that new camera.

Lolly, you don't need to program the Flip Video player...just plug it in to the USB slot and it does everything automatically! It even charges itself while plugged in!

LOLLY, no installing needed...just plug your cam into USB slot in your tower and it will do it's own thing. I found it a little difficult to plug it in at first, but it will fit in there and a red light comes on and then it pops up your video...that's all there is to it!
For those of you who are not on facebook, I have posted the video from my Flip Video on my blog Just For Fun.
Lolly, you turn it on by a switch on the right hand side, then push the red button in the middle of the back of the device...push it again to stop recording. To play back the video, push the switch on the left side of the device and the plug will pop up then push it into the USB slot on your tower. That is all there is to it.

Just got back from taking my bath....saw the Lily update and thought hmmm....better refresh to make sure no one has pposted it yet----and sure enough, Lolly did!!
TY! So much is tenuous about the bears, no matter how much Lynn and crew have learned. Just think.....birth is imminent.....pray that all goes well and the cub(s) survive.
Poor Mai ran into the gate this evening in the kennel. She was just nosing around in the snow and I called for her to come....but I didn't get the gate open all the way fast enough....and wham! Poor baby. She runs like the wind!
It seems there are German zombie tanks in my house and they are being kept at bay by Ryan, Paige, and Hunter. Paige is Ryan's little sister. She is very sweet and girlish, but she can hang with the guys. She has shot her share of the enemies.

I am sorta Seahawk fan. Cousin of mine played football for TCU. He was there when I was. Then he played for Houston, but after one year went to Miami Dolphins. While there he got two super bowl rings. Then he went to the Seattle Seahawks. He is now, of course, retired but still lives in Seattle.

Lily needs a cleaning service.
Took a pain pill so will be turning my light out but will leave the night light on for others headed back the hallway, to the tub, to the recliners, outside with the pups, or just stumbling around in the dark.

Diann there is a earpiece you can get from Radio Shack or probably even online. It plug into a tape recorder and then the suction cup to the phone. You can record him talking.
I recorded Raschida talking well grissish and would play it back to her when she was a baby. She would chatter even more. I kept recording even when she was little and singing her little songs. When she got in high school I got the tape out one day. She listened to it an said, "awwww Mom that is me". She really thought it was cute. She now has it in her passion and said if she ever had children she was going to do that.
Well Little Man ate like he was starving this AM. I will have Vet check his weight.

Dana, when I was around 10 yrs. old and in dancing school, I recorded a record, at the school, and the record began with "I WANT TO SING THIS SONG FOR MY MOMMY AND DADDY...it was 'Hey Good Lookin" and can't remember the other one. It was sooo awful that I hid it when my Mother played it for Gene when we were teenagers! Now, no one knows where it is...I think it got drowned in the basement flood last year:(

Hi all! Home from church. Thanks for the birthday wishes. Going to be a very quiet one. Jack and I are sitting here in front of the fire. It is snowing but not sticking. It is 37. However, it has been snowing and sticking in Denton and the boys are having a ball! Laurel is hoping for no school tomorrow. I hope so for her as well!
Have a funny story but at the same time not so funny. Went to the closet to get my London Fog coat. It is old but looks great and I like it for church, otherwise all I have are short, sporty coats. It was not there! I mentioned it to Jack. He said he took his to Goodwill Friday. I told him he had taken mine as he took his several weeks ago. His was too small for him. He gave my coat away! He said he checked the pockets, but I think my good gloves were in the pocket and he did not check! I get a new coat, but I liked that one and do not want to spend money on a new one. Grrrrrrr! So, instead of presents today, I have them taken from me. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! I think he had a senior moment! I love him anyway!

Lynn, I believe you were the one who could not get NC cam. I was able to get it the other day. Saw the two eggs. However, now it told me I had to download quick time. ??? (Thought I had it) Anyway, downloaded QT and still nothing. Grrrr!

Yep, Lynn, but I am trying not to cry. I liked that coat, hate to spend $ on a new one. Oh, well, someone will enjoy it with it's pretty purple zip out lining!
Just gave Mai the first body massage that was peaceful and soothing. Couldn't get her to settle before to do it the way the trainer did! She was very good.

Lolly, mine is mauve...think the lining is burgundy. Haven't worn it in years. Was just thinking last week that I should get it to the cleaners......nice to have something that covers thighs for warmth and looks better for church and such than a parka/carcoat.

LOLLY, your coat may still be there on the rack...if so, tell manager about the mix-up and give them anoter article of clothing in place of the coat. They will be happy to make the trade!
Andrew has been a KC Chiefs fan all his life so I have to rah-rah-rah for them!!
