Dana, ISS is very fast, and moves in a steady arc....like Margy said, no blinking lights....just a steady glow---except when it goes behind clouds!! It WA supposed to be very bright, according to the Tracking report, but clouds made it dimmer.

I have exactly 383 MB Ram...don't everyone laugh! That's very small...in modern times...the computer is 10 years old but was "top of the line" when new, but I do manage pretty well, just can't go cruising around to too many sites
As long as I can get NCTC cams, Blackwater, the pictures, and a few others...I am pretty satisfied for now
BTW, RAM is memory in your computer. It is different from your hard disk drive, which is storage space.
Ram = memory
I have about 25% disc space remaining....think I will have to address the upgrading the memory one of these days and clean up the hard drive too...
not that I really know what I am talking about !

Here's some good news for ya'll!!
Remember I posted some time ago about taking the day off and seeing an eagle? It was a month or so ago....
Well, that eagle was flying over what is going to be my BEACH HOUSE!
I have been looking for over a year...finally found a place down on the Eastern Shore. I didn't want to post anything earlier about it...wanted to see how the inspection went, as the property is being sold in "as is" condition. I went down last week and the inspection went fine, just some minor stuff to fix.
It is actually a 2 bedroom mobile home, with 2 additions, plus a another small camper on the property, that I have dubbed "the fishing camper", LOL.
It is on one of the many rivers that feeds into the bay. If you check out Rumbley, MD on google maps, you'll see about where it is. Has a lovely western, sunset view, and white sandy beach.
Then I get new students. Block 4 will be gone, but who knows what the future holds?
I can see Lily and hope in Lowreeda's pics...Lynn yours looks like what I saw earlier, a brown blob!

The place needs updating, but is very livable.
I saw a couple of herons and a kingfisher last week. No eagle though. And I think there's an osprey nest there somewhere...

Yea, Margy, I can go 3 1/2 hours to the beach and still be in MD, or go 3 hrs 15 mins and be at Michael's in NJ.

Latest on our venture was that the other contract that was put in the same time as ours was accepted.....when the inspection was done it turned out that the heat pump doesn't work....lenders would not lend. Holding bank would not replace or repair...so it just sits there.....
We are trying to find out if a lender will lend if we have the cash in hand to replace the heat pump. MTBR.
Hope has had a very busy day today. I really hope there is no more needs to go to the den. Those bears need some rest.

Both eagles are in the nest. One flew in, and the other came in about a minute later. They are picking at the fluff in the nest cup.

Sound is too faint, too much buzz in it, I have it turned down cause it's annoying.
Liberty under his chin is jagged and Belle under her chin is more straight.

Hello again, I see I missed the eagle visit this morning. Kind of busy. I do appreciate reading your accounts of the visits.
I am at school trying to organize myself for the day. It's cold in here. I might have to get some coffee to warm myself up.
Susan says that the taxi drivers in Quito drive 100 mph. I suggested that maybe she should take the bus, but she says the bus drivers are no better. Their bus driver slammed on the brakes and sent several of them flying.
I asked if there are lots of accidents, and she said yes.
She says that in many of the taxis the seat belts are stuffed so far down in the seats that you cannot pull them out to wear.
That does worry me. I am saying a prayer for Susan and the transportation methods down there.

I missed the HP, but so glad to hear that it took place. Thought maybe Belle was having a Mid-Life Crisis. Watched a good deal of their visits yesterday and Lib tried to cozy up to her, but she would have none of it! I'm satisfied now that some eggs WILL BE LAYED this year;)
Leaving early today for GG's to make sure her meds are in order, just in case the snow keeps me Home Bound tomorrow.
Soup Kitchen will come after GG visit, just in case the snow doesn't keep our guests away.

Finally found a coat on line that said free shipping, but everytime I tried to order it they put on $18 shipping. So, just called and they have sold out. Grrrrr! They were very nice and going to apply free shipping.
Looks like I will get a new coat next winter.
