Brrrr...... 26° here now, winds are still gusting. Just finished eating a banana for lunch, threw the peel out for the mockingbird, he came right out of a tree and started eating it. Love it when nothing goes to waste, usually would compost fruit rinds, but always feed the banana peels to the mockingbird in the winter. Rough day to be a bird, put lots of seed out, hard to find some places where it wouldn't blow away. Just counted 19 male cardinals sitting in my weeping buddleia waiting to be fed. Looked like the bush was covered in red blossoms. Had to run to the grocery store, only going out to feed the birds and walk the dog now. Too cold..good day to bake some cookies!

Hi Mauley! So far so good at staying warm - I just didn't go out of the house today. My NY gals called and as of this morning had 3 1/2 feet of white stuff & another 2 feet was expected throughout today. But Mauley - they will probably have school tomorrow! She has the snow blower so her court (mainly wives - all hubbies are deployed except one) shares it and keeps their driveways cleared. She finally got her van inside the garage after rearranging things.

Yes, I did view it full-size and it is very pretty...I take this cold over 3 plus feet of snow anyday.

NY Gals sent me some pictures of Samantha beside the snow bank. It is higher then her. Problem is where to push any more snow - Their center has about an 8 foot high mountain of snow

Set up an account at photobucket. After you load your picture there, copy the url into your profile on blogger. Sign out and back in. Also, the picture may be too big. If you need it resized, let me know.
We had the puppy bowl on at their half-time and it was kittens playing...then went to fix dinner and completely forgot to turn it back on...was watching eagles.
With all these videos, I am getting attached to all these different eagle couples! Great show-Paula.
