Wow, cool story, Steven! Glad to see a pic of one of hopefully, our eagles!! Thanks for the new thread! And thanks for the heads up, Sunny and Candy! Kent eaglet still in Falling Nest. Can't believe he has gotten so big!
I agree, Paula! Wish I could attend something like that when I get my new camera! Kent eaglet in tree, nest MT. Fin chick plumb tuckered out, all that flying and eating by himself. Long nap time. Jo's owl is in the hotel, and mrs s was just off the chicks, but she's back on 'em now.
Looks like A&E are gone from Kent. I think the nest just looks funny because they had it so built up this year....all those sticks surrounding the nest are now gone....but I don't think the nest is falling down...
GOOD MORNING JIM. How about that Kent nest. The parents are surely going to have a long time building that back. It looks like it is going a little more each day.
SUZANNE Missed the hooded crows, missed the ferry, I as still watching Fin Jufie. He is up now and looks like he needs a little exercise, or maybe another fly around?
Time for me to hit the road. All have a great day! Prayers for Jo! Paula, if you can get in to see her this afternoon, give her my love. Eyes to the sky, see the raptors fly!
Well I have to get to the Post Office and send mail to my sister. OBTW she came home from her cancer blood doctor in better spirits. More tests are being done, and once she gets to the rheumatologist, they will work together in trying to figure out what her problems are. Her life has had it's ups and downs, drugs and alcohol, and raising kids. Finally diagnosed as bipolar and had found a new life, clean from everything. She has been really trying hard to get herself strait, and doing a good job of it. So hopefully whatever they find, it won't be something that can't be taken care of. She has a lovely boy still at home, that is just going into second grade, and a no good husband. Enough of my soap opera, but I visited her this summer and was very proud of her. She has come a long way and still has a lot to do with her ramianing son. Oh well, off to the traffic and the post office. If I don't make it back, say a prayer for me:) Just kidding. Traffic is wild out there, and I hate to get in it. BBL
Good Morning all, We are going to hit the 100's again today.Aug. is nasty. So far I feel like we have has several months of Aug. here. Its just crazy weather. Its a better morning here. Jo is doing better and on her own, Tori and Megans daughter are improving, and Bobbi has joined us. Now if we could only get lurker Patti on the ball everyting would be almost perfect. Hey Patti we dont bite, honest! Well maybe Norma has to be watched but the rest of us are ok. :)
Suzanne if you read this later I attened and joined a photography club because of my husbands interest and learned so much by watching and listening to others in the club. They have them all over the US and have compititions too. It is so much fun.
The fish cam in Bonaire is awesome, I sure do miss scuba diving being landlocked in WV. Last time I dove was in Martinique and we had 75 ft visibility.
Mrs S gone and babes have mouths wide open. No Bur owls. One Kent Kid up the tree.Benica owls sleeping and three woodpeckers in birdhouse in TX. Interesting! With that I'm going home. I feel like I have had three work days today and I neeed a rest.I have got to get my watering done. If anyone hears anything about Jo please email me at home. Anything at all.
Just a little update on Mema Jo. Just spoke with Jenny and Jo has been talking today and sitting up. She is having very little pain because they have an epidural in to block it. The nurses have been very impressed with her progress so far (and I guess the docs too).
They are not allowing the family to visit but for a few minutes at a time so any other visitors that might go to the hospital will not be allowed in at all. Maybe after a few more days, having visitors will be possible. They plan on moving her to a regular room tomorrow.
Without a doubt, all of our spirits are joined in on this - eagles and humans alike! God is so good!
Good morning, eagle world. Saw a comment when I first logged on, so had to go back and read what was said about MemaJo. Absolutely GREAT NEWS from Sharon! So glad to hear Jo is doing so well already! That's just super. Prayers are being answered. Hooray!!! So happy here, now! Nice out tonight, bright moon still out, but not many stars. Warm out, 70 in PA, 78 here already! Had to open Fin cam...both Mom and Chick are in the nest. So nice to see!! Ok, trying to do 2 things at once, not working so well, so all have a great eagle day! Eyes to the sky, see the raptors fly!
You may have already seen this, but it's new to me so I'll share. Lisa has updated the BW osprey webpage, awesome pics of the CT osprey chick stealing a HUGE fish from parent. Several attempts later, chick won. Very cool pics!
Well, that little toot! Osprey chick was feeling his oats, all over the nest and doing big wing flaps. Well seems that was practice before he took off! Mom still in nest, looking right at cam, as if to say..did you see that??? Proud Momma!
Geesh, had Finland minimized and was looking at PA, and our big boy took off! Missed it yet again! Mom still in nest. I thought he'd take a nap, since he just finished eating, but ohhh noooo...off to the wild blue yonder!
BW has an early morning visitor! Mom still alone in Finland, chick out and about exploring. Osprey was in other Finland nest watching a boat, but gone now. Cam 2, lots of coromorants, and some different boats in the marina. Getting very cloudy and ark over there, guess their rain is coming. One stork in nest, not raining in GE! One owl in Benicia, been there since shortly after 4 local time, PS still down, and owl hotel MT. There was one there this morning, but he's been gone quite a while. Too dark in Swallow nest to see much, and too dark everywhere else, to include the sea. Australia has cam looking down on the city with all their lights on.
There was something in the trees behind mom, then it flew by her and landed on the ground. Don't know what it was, looked like a large stork or something. In the meantime, chick has not made an appearance.
Good morning Suzanne, wonderful news about Jo, with all the positive energies flowing around here it was no wonder she was going to have a good procedure and a good prognosis.
GOOD MORNING SUZ & ROBYN Yes Robyn, we have been so blessed on here. First with Tori's good news, Megans daughter on the mend, Nilla's G'daughter being born healthy, My Mom getting relief from her pain and me with a medicinally enhanced knee, Gene with good news from all his CAT scans and Bone marrow test (no problem found) and there are many others. The Bible says: When 2 or more of you ask it in My name, it shall be given to you. And so it was.
You got that right, Robyn. How's Tori this morning? And good morning, to ya. It is wonderful news about Jo! Hopefully she'll mend quickly! Morning, Wanda! Say hi to Capt Eagle for me. Haven't heard from him for a while. I'm also glad Megan's daughter's hand is healing, I'm sure that's hard for her during the summer. Glad everything else is working out for the best healthwise for everyone. When are you guys going to VA Beach? Glad Gene's bone marrow test was good too! How's your Mom?
Morning Wanda, yes some follow the bible others follow what defines them but when they all come together they form miracles, through positive energies.
We are taking Tori to West Palm today to get her bone densitometry test and feel she will do fine today :).
This blog is the place to be! Just so many wonderful people!
Our Fin chick is exhausted! He's trying to sleep standing up, and his head just gets lower and lower. Then he wakes up, looks around, and the eyes close again!
SUZ-- My Mom is good now. After suffering for at least 6 month with hip pain and having Bone Scans, xrays, blood work and going to physical therapy, an Orthopedic Surgeon said all she needed was a cortisone shot. She has been without pain now ever since she left the doctor's office.
Wanda, I read about the cortisone shot, I was wondering if she's still doing good. I'm glad to hear she is! Isn't it nice after all those horrible tests and everything else, that something simple can fix her problems. Well, I'm sure it's not simple, and I hear they hurt, but it sure beats surgery, and I imagine the pain from the shot is not so long lasting. Glad she's doing so well, and I'll bet she's looking forward to the trip to VA Beach!
Poor osprey kid is sleeping on his feet. Why doesn't he just lay down? Well, guess he's a big boy now, and laying down is for kids...
SUZ-- Yup! Mom is really looking forward to a trip to try her new hip on. She loves to shop and walk the beach but hasn't been able to do that in a long time.
The cortisone shot is not any more painful than an ordinary shot with the exception of the part when they release the medicine---it is not painful, just a strange sensation. Knowing that the shot was going to help her, my Mom smiled the whole time they were giving her the shot. Never grimaced once!
Good Morning, Couldnt sleep so I got out of bed. Its silly to just lay there waisting time. So I have been cleaning closets. I'm so tired after I come home at night I really don't do anything until the weekends and this weekend is full. Wanda I['m so glad your mother is doing better. I knew it would help but I didnt think it would be this great for her. Hi Suzanne. I never get to talk to you.
Hi Heidigirl! You're right, we never get to talk. I'm early morning at this end of the country, and you don't usually get on till after I'm gone for the day. Have fun with your closets, that's something I have to do too, but I look at them and say forget it. I need to get with it one day, and soon, rather than later! Wanda, I thought they moved the cam closer yesterday, so I'm glad you see it too. Means I'm not seeing things! I'm glad your Mom didn't get a lot of discomfort during her shot. I've never had to have one, I just heard they were painful. I hate shots, but I always know they'll help, so you deal with them!
Fin chick getting fed. Mom's actually feeding him. He' takes too long to do it himself, I guess.
Kent eaglet left the tree, and that poor nest looks even worse than it did yesterday! Wonder how much will fall before it finally stabilizes. And I'll bet poor Loraine and Garry are gonna have lots and lots of little bone souvenirs at the bottom of that tree!
LOL, yup, know how that goes! They do become the masters, don't they? This is the middle of the night for you, isn't it? Bet she is wondering why you're not only up, but working too. You DO know you're disturbing her sleep, don't you? You'll have to give her a biscuit treat to help her forgive you.
I think your right. She also sleeps all day when I'm gone. I just looked at Kent. The sun is coming up there. It must be further east than I am because its pitch black where I am.I'm going to get back to work and see if I can get in a good 1/2 hour before its time to put the panty hose on. Yuck. Have a great day and be careful on the way home. I dont think this group has the emotional energy for another one of us to be hurt. Hugs.
No Coffee but it doesnt sound like a bad idea. I'm afraid I'd curl up and forget about the closets. I was just thinking. If I put all this junk in the middle of the living room it would be cleaned up really fast. Anything in my living room bugs me.
Never thought of doing it that way Anne-Marie, but you may have a good idea. Just throw everything in the middle of the room and you have no choice but to clean it up---yah--I,m going to try that!
Uh-Oh-- Grandson is getting awake. He is going to want breakfast and the computer for dessert. Oh, I wonder what he will want this morning? Probably a chilli dog.
LOL, you're right, Heidigirl! I'll be careful, thanks. I agree with you on the panty hose, ugh! Hate the things in the summer!! Hey, that's also a good idea about the living room! But if I did that, I'd have cat hair on EVERYTHING! They would think they had a new bed, and would take full advantage of laying on absolutely everything they could possible touch! Nah, wouldn't work for me at all...
GOOD MORNIN' EAGLE BUDDIES!!---It's a beautiful a.m. in WV--temp. 72°---(but will be a HOT 90+ later today)---CERTAINLY IS A GOOD NEWS DAY!----HELLO---SUZANNE---ROBYN--WANDA--& ANNE-MARIE!!!----You folks are too funny this a.m.------"CRAZY ANNIE" making a big pile of clothes in her living room ---WITHOUT PANTY HOSE ON---TRULY SHOCKED!!---WANDA feeding her grandson CHILLI DOGS for breakfast!!!----You go WANDA---(grand-kids get any thing they want at my house)---The young chicks & animals are just like our children----1st word out of their mouth is MINE!!--MINE!--SUZANNE---best thing about retirement---NO MORE PANTY HOSE!!---GOD IS GOOD!
The "LITTLE PRINCE" is sound asleep with his bamboo around him---He is on HIS GRILL!--Bet he missed MITS yesterday!!!---HE BRINGS A SMILE TO MY FACE EVERY A.M.!!!
LOL, Morning, Normabyrd! Love the comment about the panty hose! Too true. You should check out our Fin chick...he's posing right in front of the cam showing us his beautiful feathes up close and personal!
STORK NEST is MT---CHESS--MILA & GWEN---really enjoy flying----only landing for FOOD!!---They are such BEAUTIFUL BIRDS!!----& WOW!--they keep their nest as clean as the EAGLES do!!!
SUZANNE---REALLY WILL miss this nest!!!---IT is such a neat nest-- We can see every time they blink an eye!!!!---HANDSOME BIRDS TOO!!---DO YOU THINK THE CHICK IS FEMALE?
If KENT KIDS are there---I can't see them!!---They were there last night when I checked in---both in the nest!!!---Didn't watch long enough to see if they had FOOD!!
GOT WAX!!!-----WOW!---SHARON or GLO must not be watching!!! ho!-------The SWALLOW is on her nest!!----The burrowing owls haven't been there for at least 2 weeks---Need to read up on them!!!
Norma, one of the storks was there alone for a long time this morning. Yeah, I'm gonna miss the Fin nest too. Hope they keep it up like BW, we might get some interesting bird visitors! I think the Fin chick is male, because his band is on opposite foot from Mom. Think Jim looked it up, and males are banded on the left, females on the right. Also this guy is not quite as big as mom, and he's pretty much full grown now. Feeding time in swallow nest! Mom was just there, but she'll be back shortly.
Yes, noticed that about the burrowing owls too. Haven't seen them for quite a while. I just figured they grew up and went and did what grown up burrowing owls do. Their version of fledging.
CT OSPREY NEST----MOM OSPREY is in nest alone---FOOT is on food & she keeps looking left & right---CAN'T SEE ANY THING APPROACHING!!!---(such a colorful nest---remember this is the nest that had the bright blue teddy bear in it)---I think there is a picture of the teddy bear in our photos!!
I know you did, Norma. I made the same comment the day before, when he was returned to the nest. Think someone told me one was right footed and the other was left footed. LOL, so ok, sounds good to me...
The ATLANTA CAM isn't showing any PANDA---asleep or awake---COUNTDOWN "33-DAYS till 1st BIRTHDAY"----Wish we could see her awake more often---She is such a playful little 'DOLL'---WITH A MIND OF HER OWN---ho!
Well, hey, I step out and look who appears...CAPT EAGLE!!!! WELCOME!!! Love that name!! Was wondering where you have been lately, so told Wanda to tell you hello this morning.. Of COURSE you may join this group! After all, you're the Capt of the Eagle Express. Glo, that is wonderful news about MemaJo! Next step is out of the hospital when she's well enough, and back home with her family. Glad to hear she's doing so well! DIVERS ARE BACK in the Netherlands!!! Schools are gone, obviously...
Thanks Ladies for the fantastic list of names for me. They were all great and I had a very hard time choosing one. I choose Capt. Eagle because I'm the Capt. of the Eagle Express. I had my Eagle Expresso this morning and I may have a Eagle Talon this evening. Thanks Suz.
Norma, stork in nest. Swallows are waiting for mom to get back with food. Fin chick finished eating, now they're just looking around. Getting very overcast on second Fin cams. Owl in hotel, burrowing owls have flown the coop, I guess, and PS still kaput.
SUZANNE---I can't figure out what the OSPREY MOM & CHICK are doing ---They keep looking down into the nest---& I HAVE NEVER SEEN MOM MOVE HER STICKS AROUND!!!---She is doing that now!!
Don't know, missed it Norma. Was reading some emails that had arrived. Right now, chick is laying down, gonna take a nap, and Mom is keeping a lookout. Funny, he'll lay down to sleep with Mom there, but this morning he kept falling asleep standing up, and he wouldn't lay down for anything! His head just got lower and lower. Too funny. He was a big boy then, Mom wasn't there, but now he's little again with Mom there!
SUZANNE---Behind on email notes---Will catch up today!!!----SAFE JOURNEY HOME TODAY---Keep your GYPSY away from your pantie hose---she WILL have all the cats wearing them!---FUNNY SITE!!!
LOL, Norma, don't know where Candy is. She's been sleeping in lately, trying to get her rest before her 24th year in Kindergarten starts. Think she said earlier this week it started in about 3 weeks. You have seveal emails from me Norma. Whenever you get a chance. Paula, I figured out how to take pics of the Undersea cam! Kind of a pain, but you can do it. Have to select everything, then copy, then paste into something else. I'm doing it in Word, but have to clean up a bunch of stuff! Fin chick is now sitting there GLARING at the cam, and he let out one big squak! Kinda glad I can't hear that well, he doesn't look very happy for some reason. he just ate, little porker, he should be comfy! Oh, down again for a nap, but still glaring at cam. Mom is totally ignoring him!
Jim I'm sure you will enjoy your retirement, I am. Glad to be part of this group and looking forward to meeting all of you. Such great people from Sea to Shining Sea. Gene
good Morning again. Welcome capt.eagle. Well I made it to work and I think I'm going to set my alarm earlier and do this again. I got quite a bit done. My energy level is in the morning. By 4:00 I'm through so this way I will get more done. It will work for a while anyway. Hey Jim arent you supose to be at work? And as far as teasing me about the pantyhose they do serve a purpose. they hold together this old lady. I'm afraid I would fall apart all over the floor without them.My grandson says I "giggle" without them. With that I went back on Atkins.
Time for me to hit the road. All have a great day. I'm running late, blog at everybody tomorrow. OH, If Mits comes on, you guys have to tell her about a new drink at Starbucks, she'll love it. Well, if she likes blueberries! It's mynew favorite..venti blueberries and cream frappicino! It is TO DIE for! Ok, outta here for real. Eyes to the sky, see the raptors fly!
Its going to hurt her to even move. they will start to decrease the pain meds later today. At the latest tomorrow. They usually go in through the side and go between two ribs which they have to clamp open for access. That pressure alone will give her pain for a while. Our bodies dont like that. They dont call it pain they call it "discomfort". I always thought that was silly. Pain is pain..
Baby S. in feather bed waiting for mom. No Kent kids. No bur owls. one owl in box sleeping. Two owls in Benicia. Nothing in wood pecker box but blog states three slept there last night. I guess it was a slumber party.
WANDA & ANNE-MARIE---YEP! she has the EAGLE CANE---& last night I talked to SHARON & we thought it might help her morale if she could have a live EAGLE at her hospital window!!!---COOL!!!----ANNE-MARIE I heard the same thing about the pain----Pray she doesn't have much pain!!
TAI is treating his audience!!---Has a BIG RED BALL---playing with it---Standing on his head--walking with ball between his legs!!! He has other toys too---Such a "SHOW-OFF"-----now he is on the rocks eating his bamboo!!!---
NORMA & ANNE-MARIE-- I don't know if I have to treat him any differently now that he has a 'Title': He just selected that mame this morning so we will see what demands he has tomorrow. I'll let you know!
Have to take Grandson home now to Winchester, Va. Be back tonight.
Norma I cant consentrate, I have pages to do that I dont want to do. I feel like a child sent to his room to clean it and not knowing what corner to start on first.
Just dropped in to see if I could catch the blog for today. I did (smile)...wow scuba divers. Hope I get to check that out.
Things are sounding even better for our dear Jo. Prayers can ease the pain. God has been carrying our Sweet Jo and HE will continue.
Have to try help Ed fix supper. Maybe I can come back in later. My prayers to those that need them and my thanks for all the prayers I've gotten too...
Just wanted to let everyone know I just called the hospital. I didn't speak with Jo, but it was relayed that she says she is doing well. She said tomorrow would be a better day for a visit, so I will stop by and see her tomorrow evening. I have the card all ready and I'll stop and pick her up some flowers then, too. I'll send thru the link for the card shortly.
ANNE-MARIE---I "feel your pain"!!----I know that feeling!---Sorry I wasn't back on this afternoon!!--It is ungodly HOT here this afternoon!--Had a few errands!!---So "ZONKED OUT"---when I got home!!!---RELAX when you get home!!!! W/let you know if we get any update!!!
HELLO DANA!---I have been thinking about you in this "WARM" weather!!!---Still have you in my thoughts & prayers----Hope you are improving each day---STAY COOL!!!!
GOOD NIGHT EVERYONE-- PAULA, thank you so much for the work that you put into Jo's card on our behalf. I'm sure you put it together with much love in your heart. It is a beauty!
EVENING, EVERYONE.. Well, I am not exactly retired yet. I'm not gainfully employed, it's true, but I just applied for Unemployment on-line, and I should be able to collect for 6-12 months.
Besides the new, strange processes and forms this week, the apartment management has something of their own going, involving inspections, etc. And there are maintenance issues in here that have not been addressed properly...people in and out.
I had the forms to renew my '86 Jeep Cherokee's registration at least 2 months ago, so of course, I waited until the afternoon of the day before the deadline (which was today) to take it to the "Test Only" station (a more stringent and more expensive method for older vehicles. If it fails, you've got to take it to another shop to repair it, and then take it back to the Test Only!!).
After a long, sweaty wait, the old dude passed again though...good news!! Then I registered it on-line last night.
Anyway, I'm making progress, but I can't believe how long some of the telephone waits are for the agencies involved in this process.
I'm ecstatic that Mema Jo is OK and recovering so well. Can't wait to chat with her again.
Happy Friday morning, Eagle world! Beautiful out, 78 at home, 77 here. Not humid yet, so it's really nice. Bright moon gets smaller every night. May try to go back and see what I missed. Have to go back and see if our MIA Candy made an appearance! She wasn't here yesterday morning. Opened Finland osprey cam this morning, and sighhhhhhhhhhhh, it's MT. I'm sure glad that baby fledged successfully, but I sure do miss him! My Internet is extremely slow this morning, and it's not like there is a lot of traffic here at work, it's 4:33, nobody is here yet, or very few. If I fade out, you'll know what happened. All have a great eagle day! Hope everyone is feeling well, or improving quickly. Eyes to the sky, see the raptors fly!
SD has the cam turned on Bai Yun, and she's in her den. Usually at this hour of the day (1:43 there) the cams are on, but it's dark. They have her on infrared. She is preggers, but don't know when she's due. Will have to go try and find out. I'm guessing it's soon from her being up now and the cam on. How cool, another tiny baby panda to watch!!

Man what lucky ducks! Wonder if those kids know how good they really had it?
I agree, Paula! Wish I could attend something like that when I get my new camera!
Kent eaglet in tree, nest MT.
Fin chick plumb tuckered out, all that flying and eating by himself. Long nap time.
Jo's owl is in the hotel, and mrs s was just off the chicks, but she's back on 'em now.
GOOD MORNING, EVERYBODY...
I read about the Kent nest on the other thread, didn't believe it, since the nest was fine last night, took a look, and THE NEST IS FALLING APART!
The parents will be busy rebuilding in the off season this year!
Jim

Well, dang, gone next refresh! But keep an eye out, they're down there now.
Missed the divers :)

You could be right about the Kent nest, Paula. It looked worse earlier in the morning on the camera side...different light I guess.
Very glad to hear Mema Jo is continuing to improve. She'll be back with us before very long.
Have a great day, everyone.
Jim
Ms.S is off the babes and they look like they are sleeping. When do their eyes open? WHOA a big mouth just opened when Ms. S came into the nest lol
The fish cam in Bonaire is awesome, I sure do miss scuba diving being landlocked in WV. Last time I dove was in Martinique and we had 75 ft visibility.
If you look at Kent on Cam 3, it looks fine...
Love the purple and yellow fish...
Wow, huge yellow one was just in front of the camera
Just saw a diver, a woman
She's leaving now.
Here are some diver pictures from the other day and today.
Bonaire Reef Cam
Pretty blue sky at Kent today.
Pugent sound is stuck on yesterday, 7/31 at 14:50
A quick message sent from Guardian Eagle
I see where Jenn has let all of you know that MeMa Jo has her breathing tube out. I do have a question though? She keeps mumbling something about a cane, and wax... Is that woman gonna try to hop out of this bed and wax that cane we see over there in the corner?
OK back to work for me...Got to keep and Eagle Eye on her...she is One Spunky Lady!!!!
One in the nest and one up the tree trunk at Kent. Albert and Einsteinella are both home!
Is everyone taking a nap?
CT osprey has a red fish!
Both kids in the Kent nest now.
Eating at Kent, thus all the nest activity.
Figured they would be gone by now, but both Kids still in the Kent Nest.
CT osprey still eating the red fish...must've found a koi pond somewhere!
Just checking in...see everyone is busy...kids coming over for dinner tonight...steaks on the grill, yum.
Hope everyone has an enjoyable evening.
Good evening everybody.
Mits mom sent a post out earlier in rply to your post but it seems to have gotten eaten up by the blog monster, she will repost it tomorrow.
Thank you Sharon. and Thank you Norma for emailing me. Hurray.....
ANNE-MARIE
I think we all must have e-mailed you! We were all so anxious to spread the good news.
I'm thrilled. We are very blessed.
GOOD NIGHT TO ALL YOU SPECIAL FRIENDS--
Hoping tomorrow brings us more good news and fellowship.
GOOD NIGHT/GOOD MORNING, EVERYONE...
That is super news about Mema Jo. The answer to all our prayers.
Jim
Hi, all. Glad to hear the update about Jo from Sharon. I sent it through on email.
Spent the evening w/ kids and grandkids. Looked at pictures for 2 hours from son's trip to California.
Closing it down for tonight,
Good night all and Good Morning, Suzanne.
Prayers being sent for those in need
Fin chick is back, and looks like Mom has food...no wonder he's back. Didn't see her get the food, or him come back to nest. Darn.
Oh my, PA falcon on ledge!!
Oh, I forgot. Since MemaJo isn't here to remind everyone, don't forget your daily clicks. Thanks.
Fin Mom just arrived, and she's looking all around in circles, watching the sky, so I'm guessing Fin chick is flying around.
Well, no, she made a liar outta me. Head down like she's gonna eat. I'm sure if chick sees that, he'll be here most tic!
Blessed Be
Chick just arrived, but he flew in during a refresh. One sec he's not there, next he is.
GOOD MORNING SUZ & ROBYN
Yes Robyn, we have been so blessed on here.
Hope Tori's test goes well, Robyn. You're right, this is a wonderful place to meet wonderful people!
Our Fin chick is exhausted! He's trying to sleep standing up, and his head just gets lower and lower. Then he wakes up, looks around, and the eyes close again!
Oh my goodness, we can't keep our eyes open. Fin chick on one foot and head getting lower and lower. too cute.
SUZ--
My Mom is good now. After suffering for at least 6 month with hip pain and having Bone Scans, xrays, blood work and going to physical therapy, an Orthopedic Surgeon said all she needed was a cortisone shot. She has been without pain now ever since she left the doctor's office.
ROBYN--
When are you coming home? Are you bring Tori?
Wanda we will be home fri or sat next week. As ar as bringing tori home that is still in the air. We want to and so does she...
Have a great day , we are off the Palm Beach for Tori's testing.
BBL
Hope you can too, Robyn!
Chick just took off!
SUZ--
Yup! Mom is really looking forward to a trip to try her new hip on. She loves to shop and walk the beach but hasn't been able to do that in a long time.
ROBYN
Good luck to you and Tori!
The cortisone shot is not any more painful than an ordinary shot with the exception of the part when they release the medicine---it is not painful, just a strange sensation. Knowing that the shot was going to help her, my Mom smiled the whole time they were giving her the shot. Never grimaced once!
Do you think the Fin nest is even closer still or am I imagining it?
Eaglet in tree at Kent.
Poor little Heidi thinks I'm flipped for sure. She is laying on her bed and looking at me with one eye . I've got music going and all the lights on.
Heidigirl is Heide your dog or cat?
Kent eaglet left the tree, and that poor nest looks even worse than it did yesterday! Wonder how much will fall before it finally stabilizes. And I'll bet poor Loraine and Garry are gonna have lots and lots of little bone souvenirs at the bottom of that tree!
Heidi is a miniature schnauzer . She was my husbands dog and she allows me to live here.
Anne-Marie
Cleaning closets at 5 in the morning is remarkable. Did you get a cup of coffee first? I don't get awake til 10am.
Ah, Su Lin is asleep in a tree at San Diego. So cute!
Wow, Mom just left from her takeoff perch, and chick just arrived, other side of nest. Cam is so close, you can almost hear him breathing.
He's right in front of the cam and grooming. Sure is showing us his beautiful feathers up close and personal!!
STORK NEST is MT---CHESS--MILA & GWEN---really enjoy flying----only landing for FOOD!!---They are such
BEAUTIFUL BIRDS!!----& WOW!--they keep their nest as clean as the EAGLES do!!!
Mrs S back, but chicks haven't opened their wide mouths!
1 kid at Kent! In the nest...
Osprey in CT
Yes, noticed that about the burrowing owls too. Haven't seen them for quite a while. I just figured they grew up and went and did what grown up burrowing owls do. Their version of fledging.
Parent is enjoying the meal in CT without being bothered by the kIds,...
Morning everyone!
EAGLET IN NEST, KENT.
Morning, Paula!
Eaglet went to tree. That's Einstein's tree, so must be who it is...
SUZANNE---WOW!--I didn't know about the banding bit!!!---I did make a remark that the bands were on different legs---COOL!!
Eaglet all the way up to roosting branch...well,no, he just took off. Nice to see them again in the nest, though.
BaiYun is sound asleep in her den.
MORNIN' PAULA---Any "left overs" from the cook-out last nite? ho!
I know you did, Norma. I made the same comment the day before, when he was returned to the nest. Think someone told me one was right footed and the other was left footed. LOL, so ok, sounds good to me...
Wow, if you have the sea up, SCHOOs are going by...making the water dark there are so many!
OMG, the water looks like night!
R U guys watching these fish in the Netherlands? Awesome!
Eaglet back in tree. Schools still swimming around, totally blocking the sun from the reef.
Norma - no leftovers! All gone.
Kent kid up the tree.
BUTA BUTA is on display now---GUESS??----ASLEEP ON THE BOTTOM ROW OF LOGS!!!---(she is still cute asleep)---ho!
SUZANNE---What site is that?
NOrma, The undersea Netherlands cam.
http://www.breathebonaire.com/index.php?CURRENT_CAM=bonairecam2&SET_CAM=bonairecam2
all on one line. The schools are still there, been there a long time.
Norma, just in case, I sent it to you on email.
Grand-kids now on plane---land at TAMPA 11:20 a.m.----2 yr. old MARLEY---says "miss my brothers & sisters"---SHE IS A REAL TRIP!---so funny!!---
Schools just left. They were hanging around for a long time.
No they didn't they went out of cam view. Here they come again.
I am trying my wings to see if they work.
Do I have to get permission to join this group?
THANKS SUZANNE---I appreciate it!!-----AWESOME!!
WOW!!---I get to WELCOME CAPT. EAGLE!----Hey---that name is WAY COOL!!---I know SUZANNE will approve!!---Didn't she use that this a.m.----?
Guardain Eagle news
MeMa Jo is doing well. She will be leaving ICU and going to her own room later today.
CAPT. EAGLE---SUZANNE is "SCUBA DIVING" in the NETHERLANDS now!!
THANKS GLO!!---THAT IS GREAT NEWS!!!
Captain Eagle No problem though this gal leaves very early in the mornign and gets around the world very fast. She will be back very soon.
Oh, and feeding time for Fin chick!
see told ya...she gets around quickly and quietly...didn't hear her come in LOL
LOL, oh Glo that's too funny!
LOL, you're welcome, Capt Eagle! I didn't try one of those eagle talons last time, but I sure will next time!
WHERE IS CANDY---She is always up & on early---Do you think her school has started---NAW!!---Must be fixing her "deviled eggs"---ho!
Good news about Jo. Real happy for her and her family.
SUZANNE---Behind on email notes---Will catch up today!!!----SAFE JOURNEY HOME TODAY---Keep your GYPSY away from your pantie hose---she WILL have all the cats wearing them!---FUNNY SITE!!!
I AGREE CAPT. EAGLE!!---"GREATEST NEWS" we have had---Will keep her & family in our PRAYERS!!
GOOD MORNING, EVERYBODY...
Suzanne, Norma, Glo, Paula, Capt. eagle...
Jim
OH, Morning, Jim. You posted while I was typing!
1 "lonely" STORCK CHICK in nest---Bet it is GWEN---I think she is the SMALLEST!!----Must be close to feeding time!!
MORNIN' MOVIN'JIM---You must be a "Late Sleeper" like CANDY!!
WOW!--That BRIDGE COLLAPSE is such a TRAGEDY!!!---
Jim I'm sure you will enjoy your retirement, I am.
MORNIN' ANNE-MARIE!!---I am a morning person too!!---I can really get things done then---
NORMA--
Does Jo have your CANE with her at the hospital? She will probably be using it on the doctors in a few days! lol
WANDA---I wondered if you have to salute CAPT EAGLE?--- ho!
Wanda you may have created a monster.. LOL..
TAI is treating his audience!!---Has a BIG RED BALL---playing with it---Standing on his head--walking with ball between his legs!!! He has other toys too---Such a "SHOW-OFF"-----now he is on the rocks eating his bamboo!!!---
NORMA & ANNE-MARIE--
I don't know if I have to treat him any differently now that he has a 'Title': He just selected that mame this morning so we will see what demands he has tomorrow. I'll let you know!
Have to take Grandson home now to Winchester, Va. Be back tonight.
Be safe Wanda.
GWEN is still alone in the nest---PREENING---That's all she does!
OSPREY PARENT IN THE NEST IN CT!!!
Norma I cant consentrate, I have pages to do that I dont want to do. I feel like a child sent to his room to clean it and not knowing what corner to start on first.
2 kids at Kent, and CT and one in LI
Paula, have you heard anything?
Hi all my special Eagle friends..
Hugs Dana
I just saw a mor'e eel on the ocean blog. It was fantastic,
Just wanted to let everyone know I just called the hospital.
Thank you Paula.
Anne - didn't even realize you had asked! See ya'll a little later....

Thank you Norma and everyone. Your all so sweet.
Oh that news about Jo is just "great". Paula I know you'll tell her we "all" send hugs and kisses.
KENT EAGLET is in the tree!!---Might be EINSTEIN---She is on her side----
OSPREY CHICK is "snoozing" alone in his nest!!!
Hey Norma and Dana! Was outside watering the flower gardens - still very dry here.
Dana, so glad to see you back here! And yes, I'll give Jo lots of xx00 from everyone!

Good night everyone
Prayers for those in need
Ooops, forgot
Good Morning, Suz!
GOOD NIGHT EVERYONE--
PAULA, thank you so much for the work that you put into Jo's card on our behalf.
JIM
GOOD NIGHT/GOOD MORNING, EVERYBODY...
HAVE A GREAT FRIDAY.
JIM
Fin mom just arrived with food...can chick be far behind??? Oh, she's eating! Bet he shows up real soon!
LOL, he just arrived, right in Mom's face!
This is driving me crazy! I have to do a cold boot, it is just waaay too slow! BBL
