Good morning all. Very quiet at work today. We're having a "pandemic flu exercise" at OPM today so a lot of people are telecommuting including both of my federal supervisors.
Sorta glad I have a reason to stay inside - Hi Steven and Bob. Bob, you should be telecommuting from home. Mits - do you have a zoo day again today? I have not taken time to read the previous thread - by the time I finish I don't still have energy then to blog. Hi Jill Hi Paula
SUZANNE, in answer to your question about Bai sleeping alot, think it could be a combination of her age and the fact this is her 4th time, and therefore is not stressed out like a first time mom. Mei Xiang just never got any sleep.
MITS-Just go stand under one of the misters all day and tell people there is going to be an animal parade right there. They are dumb enough to be out in this heat, they are dumb enough to believe that. LOL
Going to sign off until this afternoon - I'm taking it slow. Robyn I know you may not see this for hours but "Good Luck" in SC. Suzanne and Wanda - I know I am going to miss you but I know you're here and ok. Catch you all later......
Jill - I use a Canon 20D camera with a 100-400mm lens attached. Once in a while I'll add on a 1.4x teleconverter but the camera won't autofocus with that on and my eyesight isn't sharp enough to manually focus "spot on" every time.
Spoiled bunch aren't we, can't even focus our cameras. LOL. I am the same way Bob. I want to get a new bigger lense but they are so expensive. Guess I will have to save all my pennies.
Good grief, so Candy and I are just talking away on the other thread! Mits, you snuck in and said new thread, and I never saw it! Thanks for the new thread, Steven!
And what do I see but a Sycamore tree!!!! Welcom back, Jo!!!
Now have to go read what I've missed. Here I'm thinking everybody is sleeping in this morning!
Wow, Jo, sorry I missed you! Hi Steven, Jill, Paula, Bob, Mits, and Candy, see you made it over here. Just goes to show, can't talk and chew gum at the same time! Can't talk and blog at the same time.
Mits, you be careful this afternoon. Heat is oppressive, you can cut the air with a knife! Won't the zoo keep the animals in when it gets this hot? They probably have better sense anyway, and will stay in of their own accord.
JILL I loved your advice to Mits about standing in front of the misters all day, telling the people that an animal parade would be coming by. I can just picture all the people just standing there waiting there with her. lol
Sad thing is if she did it, they would probably be standing there with her waiting for the parade. LOL. You would see them on the news tonight. MITS-take a wet scarf or bandana and put around your neck. Wet is with cold water every once in a while, it will help keep you cooler.
Thanks, Candy! Sure glad the AC in my car is working very well! I just have to figure out how to feed the poor birds when I get home and stay cool doing it! Talk to you tomorrow! Enjoy your company!
OMG- I'm melting, I'm melting!! It sure feels like the tropics out there, but I can't find my mai-tai or the cabana boy. And where the heck is that ocean breeze? I must be delirious.
Hurray! Jo is back. Now everything is going to be great. Greeting from San Francisco. At least thats what it feels like. We have their fog again this morning. What worries me is I'm afraid our 100 degree weather will last into October because we are not getting it now. This is crazy. This weekend is my anual curb side clean up when the county comes by and takes all your yard and garage garbage away.I have been working on the garage every night until it gets dark and the grown grad kids are coming on Sat. to cut down shrubs and trees that are growing wild.I have pull down stairs in the garage that go into the attic but I have never been up there. I dont do steps. So they will clean that too. I have a photography trip on the 18th which should be fun. Down the Stanislaw river on a raft. I hope you all have a beautiful day and stay inside. We dont want anymore of you under the weather. I will be back and forth.
Good morning bakatcha, Iris.....I'll tell them the parade starts at 4 and I will be outta there....got my frozen water, got my neck guard and hat....got to be insane for doing this..all pandas are inside right now...Mei and Tian are together in same den....playing or fighting, who knows?
Hopefully I won't have to go out today. Anybody stupid enough to get arrested isn't going to jail where it is cool, I am sending them back outside. That will teach them.
Seems to be raining at McNeil Falls, rain drops on the lens, and it appears the fishing has slowed now. The big males are not as prevalent, and the females and young have showed up.
The Finnish Osprey have returned to the nest and are feeding on a beautiful fish.
Time for me to hit the road. About a gazillion white birds are flying around as both the Finns eat their prospective fishes! All stay cool today, Mits, you be careful outside this afternoon. Megan, you too if you're going back out. Blog tomorrow. And hopefully tomorrow, our regular SD cam guy will be back! Eyes to the sky, see the raptors fly!
I may be back, but I've got to take care of more forms and calls and information gathering, etc.
I'm authorized for Unemployment now, so I can only be classified "semi-retired" for the next few months...could possibly come up with a juicy offer for a new job.
I did go out to Dr visit...Told him he was crazy making me come out on such a hot day with my lungs! He is pleased with my recovery and I'll return to see him in 6 wks. Has placed me on some preventive medication (predisone) for an extended time. Go to the surgeon this upcoming Mon... I have had a busy am so I am going to take a Panda Nap! I'll try to come back later this evening..... loLove
Howdy Ya'll ... Tryed to catch up on the past blogs from what i read Robyn's birthday i missed... Mema Jo's return.. and so many memories of the past... Hope all is well and staying in and cool in this scorcher of a heat wave... Jill yup Al is the big honcho.. but Alfie is a sweety pie.. Are you sure you have the right Al? They are from Baltimore area? Have been watching SD panda new mom and she sure is protecting that baby from the camera... I have not been on as i have been ill and was in the hospitol again having 2 more stents put in my heart... But coming up August 14th is my 1 year anniversary of not smoking..:)
NILLA-that is what my son said. I don't know. Maybe he is wrong. Who know.
Wanda, all for her? Hope you get your money back anyway. Glad I got mine but I think it was because I knew somebody she was friends with and she didn't want them to know.
JILL-- No money. She had a 45 day extension at which time she is supposed to pay everyone. I don't know if that is all that is going to happen to her or not, but I would like to see some jail time.
WANDA-She will come in with proof she paid some (the smallest ones) and the will extend her time. If she continues to pay they will keep extending the time. If not they will put a lein on her stuff or her paycheck if she works anywhere
Good morning, eagle world. Muggy out tonight, but not quite as muggy as yesterday. 80 in PA, 85 here in VA. MORNING, JO!!! How nice to see you on here, even though it was late. Take it easy, but glad you're home and improving! Will have to go back and see what I missed yesterday. Mits, how was the zoo? I thought of you yesterday when I was feeding and watering my birds...I was soaked by the time I was done, it was terrible. And darn, wouldn't ya know...that hose of mine has a mind of it's own. Just turned around while I was giving the birds fresh water and sort of gave me a cool shower! Darn thing. But it sure felt good! I've got Bai up, and she's sitting holding the cub, I presume it's feeding time. Sure hope our cam operator is back tonight, and moves the cam when Bai moves! All have a great eagle/panda day. Eyes to the sky, see the raptors fly!
YES!!! Our cam ooperator is back!!! He's zoomed in, Bai washing baby, and you can see baby and her tongue as she washes him! Ok, bath time over, cam zoomed out cause mom is gonna take a nap now. Oh thank you, God, for bringing our cam operator back to work today!!!
Well, Bai is still sleeping. I just got scared to death! Went to get my sweater out of my backpack (as usual, 20 below zero in here), and there was a HUGE cockroach on the floor! HATE THEM!!!! Called my boss and told him I wasn't going back in that cube till that thing was gone! He did the right thing, bless his heart!! It is no more, and obviously, I'm back. Sweater and all! Just another reason not to put your purse and stuff on dirty floors! So, that done, BRB...
Bai is still napping. Went outside, and it's beautiful out! There is a very nice breeze, sliver of a moon is hanging in the Eastern sky, and it's just nice out. Heard the crickets and locusts, and that's the first time I've heard them here at work! I get a nature seranade every morning coming to work... starts at my house, and the locusts take me all the way to Rt 15! Love it. Then when I get to where 15 and 340 split, I can hear them again, all the way to Leesburg. I definately enjoy my early morning nature seranade coming in to work every day. Both Fin nests MT, little fishes swimming on cam 3, and most of the cormorants must be out, not many on the beach. Lisa updated the BW osprey page, pics of baby robins after they fledged, too cute! But that nest is also MT. Oh, zooming in on Bai, she moved and the baby is under her chin. Now she's put her arm down and can't see baby... OH, she put her arm down and baby is wiggling! Ok arm back up. OH, washing baby! Awwww, that is just too cute! He just wiggles! Now she's holding it closer, that is just too cute. Both owls in NL, can see what's left of the one baby that wasn't moving yesterday, and the 4 eggs are still being ignored. Think tomorrow may be last time I watch that site, hate to see the way barn owls treat their kids till they get older and bigger. Falcon ledge MT, Mrs S on her babies, and too dark to see anything else. Bai back to sleep now.
Baby is nursing, little wiggler! She is so gentle! She's holding the baby in her paw while baby nurses. Baby not even big enough to fill her paw! Oh, this cam operator is too good! Love him!
Bw osprey in nest. well, dang, got that typed and he took off. Falcon on bar in PA. Fav Fin nest MT, white birds are in background again. Bai is restless and moving in her sleep, so wonder if squiggles is moving. 2nd Fin nest MT, lots of little fish on cam 2, cornorants all gone, and they have some huge sail boats in the marina! Oh, Bai washing cub again. Mrs S on babies, or maybe that's just babies, too dark to tell. Getting light in NL, you can see the reef and some fish swimming around. Bai back to sleep now.
GOOD MORNING SUZ--- I NOTICED LAST NIGHT THAT WE GOT OUR FAVORITE CAMERAMAN BACK. REALLY MAKES A BIG DIFFERENCE IN OUR VIEWING! Don't know how I will manage not seeing Mrs. Panda and her little Beanie Baby while we are gone. We are leaving at 9am this morning. Don't know when we will come back---depends on how well Mom is feeling. If we give her an Eagle Talon and it doesn't revive her, then it is time to come home.
Went to court yesterday and was told the Lady in Question was granted an extension of 45 days at which time she is suppose to have checks to pay off all of us who apeared in court. I would rather see her do some Jail time. She scamed all of us at a benefit for a child who is dying of cancer (who is a member of our church)She even had someone working the crowd asking for cash donations. Have now idea how much money she got or where it went. I haven't heard if any of it went to the child's family. BEWARE OF PEOPLE ASKING FOR MONITARY HELP FOR AN UNFORTUNATE FAMILY, iT VERY OFTEN DOES NOT GO TO THE NEEDY FAMILY. pLEASE BE CAREFUL.
GOOD MORNING SUZANNE AND ALL OTHER PEOPLE TO COME! It is already 86 here with a heat index of 99. :(
I see Mits signing out, so I gather that she made it through her day ok. Good to see. I think we all worried about her being out in the heat.
AND JO WAS BACK! Can't believe that she had to go to the doctors in that heat. She made it through the day, as I saw her sign off at night. Hope you are felling better and better each day Jo.
Good morning, Tiger Lily Wanda! I'm sorry she got an extension, but don't most people get fines and/or jail time for writing bad checks? I thought it was more than a slap on the wrist, and seems like she did this to quite a few people! And under false petenses! I'll bet she didn't give a dime to that unfortunate family! That's a shame! Well you and Capt Eagle and Mom have a great vacation! Bet the ol' Eagle Talon will revive her if need be! I hope the weather cooperates for you and is not quite so humid, so you can get out and enjoy your visit. I'll take pics and send them to you. Sure glad to have the camera man back, too! You'll probably be surprised when you get back at how much little squiggly has grown, they grow so fast. Enjoy your vacation, and drive carefully. Have fun!
GOOD MORNING WANDA! You beat me on here again! Lots of luck with the court system. It is a shame that you or anyone has to go all through that. If she gave you a bad check, I would think you would want cash this time and not another check. I'm just hoping you really finally get your money.
Good morning, Candy. You snuck in while I was typing, didn't see you! Yes, I worried about Mits yesterday too, it was unbearable out doors! And I got a good morning from Jo, that made my day. Didn't know she had to go to the doc, haven't read the blogs yet. We got our good cam operator back, and he follows and zooms in on Bai when she is washing or feeding the cub. Got some pics this morning, sent out already. Love watching Bai! Finny is in nest!!
SUZANNE Finney is now out of the nest. :( Maybe they'll come back with something to eat and you can watch him some more.
Not much on yet; just fish floating around, SD panda's sleeping, weat coast black, no osprey or hooded crow, no cormorants (do you suppose they headed south already?) and there were not too many boats in the harbor. Glad you say one of your Pa falcons this morning. It is nice to know that they come back once and awhile. NORMA's nest was empty as usual. I guess they won't be coming back. :(
Yeah, Candy, guess the storks are gone. I had the nest up all week, and would glance occassionally, but never did see a stork. Didn't open it this morning. Hope Finny comes back, but he has been returning to eat and squak! Very few coromorants, they're down by the water, in the middle of the screen...those that are still there. Don't know if they headed south, do they do that? Don't know anything about them. Osprey still in nest, though. Haven't seen a hoodie for a few days, there was one with the cormorants, and that was the last one I saw there. BW osprey has been in and out, mostly out today. Nothing showing in Kent, guess Albert and Einstella are living elsewhere now. Here comes that MT nest syndrome! Least we have a baby panda to watch! How cool is that!!
********************************************* **** *** JO this is an order for you from me and the Capt.----Have a very ood day and get to bed EARLY!!!!!!
Thanks, Candy. I just did a google search, and one of the sites that came up was heading south in search of food. Haven't read it yet, but guess they do migrate.
GOOD MORNING ALL I lucked out yesterday, was the only Asian trail volunteer scheduled for p.m. shift, so stayed in the panda house, because the pandas were all inside. I t was fun because Mei and Tian were together and lots of action between them, He finished his fruitcicle and went after hers, but the walk to the center where I sign in and back to parking lot was awful. Got in my car and windows were cracked temp was 106°, when I got home it was 102°. Last night at 11:00p.m. temp still 91°.
Good grief, Mits, that's just WAY to hot to be outside! But I'm glad you got to at least stay in with the pandas for your shift. Thought of you yesterday when I was feeding and watering the birds, I was soaked after the first few minutes! Zooming inn on baby~!!!!!

GOOD "HOT" MORNING EVERYONE
What an honor to follow my friend Hello everyone!
108 heat index...
YAY Mema Jo is back. Missed you Mema. Hope you are feeling better.
Shhhhhh Steven we didnt' need to hear that. LOL
Happy Hotter than Heck Hump Day!
Morning, Jo. Stay cool!
Good morning all. Very quiet at work today. We're having a "pandemic flu exercise" at OPM today so a lot of people are telecommuting including both of my federal supervisors.
Yikes, don't tell me that, Steven.GOOD MORNING, JO, DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT GOING OUT TODAY
BOB, hope the exercisr is taking place indoors.
That is white birds. :) :) :)
Jo - I can't be trusted to telecommute, I'd be goofing off too much, working on my photos.
Yes, Jo, ZOO day today. I think the only animals that will be out are of the human kind.
Well, Bob at least we could see the results of your productivity
Hi Candy
I put up a new video on the Eaglet Momsters blog. It is Limuw on the SC nest yesterday, and the morning sunrise, set to music.
Eagletmomsters.blogspot.com
SUZANNE, in answer to your question about Bai sleeping alot, think it could be a combination of her age and the fact this is her 4th time, and therefore is not stressed out like a first time mom. Mei Xiang just never got any sleep.
True Jo. Your tax dollars would be hard at work in Photoshop.
Morning, Candy, Mits, Jo, Bob, Steve, Suz, Jill and anyone else I missed and Morning Lurkers too!
MITS-Just go stand under one of the misters all day and tell people there is going to be an animal parade right there. They are dumb enough to be out in this heat, they are dumb enough to believe that. LOL
Hey Bob, would be better than what I know some of my tax dollars do. LOL
What size is you telephoto lense?
Going to sign off until this afternoon - I'm taking it slow.
Robyn I know you may not see this for hours but "Good Luck" in SC.
Suzanne and Wanda - I know I am going to miss you but I know you're here and ok. Catch you all later......
Jill, good suggestion:)
Jill - I use a Canon 20D camera with a 100-400mm lens attached. Once in a while I'll add on a 1.4x teleconverter but the camera won't autofocus with that on and my eyesight isn't sharp enough to manually focus "spot on" every time.
Get some rest Jo!
I am such a sissy in the heat, don't know how I'm going to deal with it, except to hide in the shade.
Suz - I thought maybe you were working! :)
LOL....SUZANNE....PAULA, THANKS FOR THE VIDEO, BEAUTIFUL GOLDEN COLORS AND ONE NOISY EAGLET.
Wow, check out the big swallow chicks!
Wow Look at all the bloggers on here while I was checking my email. AND I MISSED JO. SO GOOD TO SEE YOU HERE IF ONLY FOR A SECOND.
GOOD MORNING MITS, BOB, STEVE, JILL, AND PAULA!
Congratulations to Mits for being #1 on the new thread and thanks Steve for the new thread AND yes PLEASE keep the temp. of 108 to yourself :)
JILL I loved your advice to Mits about standing in front of the misters all day, telling the people that an animal parade would be coming by. I can just picture all the people just standing there waiting there with her. lol
Divers!
PAULA Thanks for sharing a beautiful view of Limuw and his nest. The music just was the icing on the cake.
Thanks for the heads up SUZANNE. I had given up for today.
Thanks for the info on Bai, Mits. I was wondering.
Candy, they are still there, but not as close to the cam, but you can see them.
Sad thing is if she did it, they would probably be standing there with her waiting for the parade. LOL. You would see them on the news tonight. MITS-take a wet scarf or bandana and put around your neck. Wet is with cold water every once in a while, it will help keep you cooler.
GOOD MORNING JO!!!! and Mits and Jill and Paula and Steven and Bob and CarolinabeachMom. What a great day to stay indoors!!!
Jo, it is so good to have you back online! We have missed you both here and in Momsters mail. Keep getting better each and every day!
You are all always in my prayers even if I do LURK a lot.:)
(((((((((hugs to all))))))))))
Yeah, Mits, I just checked the weather on my local station... 108 is a GOOD number!
HEY SUZANNE They are giving you a nice close up today. :)
LOL, Candy, they do that! I missed it, but they usually all come up close to the cam, and waive bye bye when they leave!
Well, I have to go and get some closets ready for company.
SUZANNE You have a safe trip home and then get inside and cool off.
BBL
Thanks, Candy! Sure glad the AC in my car is working very well! I just have to figure out how to feed the poor birds when I get home and stay cool doing it!
Talk to you tomorrow! Enjoy your company!
OMG- I'm melting, I'm melting!! It sure feels like the tropics out there, but I can't find my mai-tai or the cabana boy. And where the heck is that ocean breeze? I must be delirious.
wow, Megan, you be careful working outside today! Ain't fit for man nor beast!
Hurray! Jo is back. Now everything is going to be great. Greeting from San Francisco. At least thats what it feels like. We have their fog again this morning. COOOL, COOOOOOOLL MORNING TO YOU ALL....
Happy to see Mema Jo and you all up and about...but not "out" if you can avoid it.
Remember "fluids, fluids, fluids!"
Think "coooooooooool."
Don't mind me, I think I'm a little ditsy this morning.
Have a great day.
Jim
Good morning bakatcha, Iris.....I'll tell them the parade starts at 4 and I will be outta there....got my frozen water, got my neck guard and hat....got to be insane for doing this..all pandas are inside right now...Mei and Tian are together in same den....playing or fighting, who knows?
Hopefully I won't have to go out today. Anybody stupid enough to get arrested isn't going to jail where it is cool, I am sending them back outside. That will teach them.
Just tell them your early cause you want a good viewing spot Mits.
Both Mrs Fin and Finny are in the nest, each eating their own fish!
Seems to be raining at McNeil Falls, rain drops on the lens, and it appears the fishing has slowed now. The big males are not as prevalent, and the females and young have showed up.
The Finnish Osprey have returned to the nest and are feeding on a beautiful fish.
Jim
Take a peek.
Oops, hi Jim, bye Jim. Didn't see you. Cool pics in Finland, huh?
The swallow chicks are starting to look like little swallows. I don't remember the dates, but they'll probably be fledging before you know it.
Jim
Pray that there are no emergencies at the zoo, I don't trust DC's ambulances....take care, everyone.
Be safe Mits..
I may be back, but I've got to take care of more forms and calls and information gathering, etc.
I'm authorized for Unemployment now, so I can only be classified "semi-retired" for the next few months...could possibly come up with a juicy offer for a new job.
Talk to you later.
Jim
divers.
That was neat. Three of them
Jim - You haven't been hitting those eagle talons already, have you?
Bai and babe getting bath. Babe swallows sleeping. No Kent Kids. One owl with eyes wide open. Two Benicia owls sleeping. peaceful waters in ocean.
I'll try to come back later this evening..... loLove
That's good news, Jo. Now just take it easy in the AC. It's miserable outside.
If Jo takes a "Panda" nap we may not see here til tomorrow the way little Buta sleeps. LOL.
Glad you are doing good JO. Keep it up. And yes that Dr. is crazy making you come out today. Did you show him the cane?
Wow not alot of talk to catch up on today.
Jo had to go out in this heat to see Dr. Whoo (bam the end of Norma's cane)..glad that Dr. ducked. lol Yes diffently rest in air condition now gal.
Jim semi-retired (at the young age of 17???) hee hee
I think everybody is taking a panda nap. Mits-did you survive the zoo. Pandas looked quite comfortable sprawled out on the cool concrete.
NILLA--
Sorry to hear you were in the hospital--are feeling better now?
JILL--
Had my court appearance this morning. Lots of people there.
NILLA-that is what my son said. I don't know. Maybe he is wrong. Who know.
Wanda, all for her? Hope you get your money back anyway. Glad I got mine but I think it was because I knew somebody she was friends with and she didn't want them to know.
JILL--
No money. She had a 45 day extension at which time she is supposed to pay everyone. I don't know if that is all that is going to happen to her or not, but I would like to see some jail time.
Quickly...
Close ups at McNeil Falls.
Limuw is in the nest eating ... quietly ... Guess Mom brought fish from what I read on their blog.
WE was on briefly this afternoon, and there should be some "IWS updates" to read on their site.
Hope you're keeping cool.
Jim
Probably the reason Limuw is so quiet is it isn't Limuw!!
It's one of the adults (K10) I think, eating his fish in Limuw's absence.
Jim
That is Dad at SC
Paula...
I just saw a small bird fly by the SC camera, and I was reminded of that yellow one yesterday in the blog. Did anyone ID that??
I took a quick look at my book and came up with a Yellow Tanager as a possibility. I don't recall seeing a bird THAT YELLOW on the mainland here.
Jim
WANDA-She will come in with proof she paid some (the smallest ones) and the will extend her time. If she continues to pay they will keep extending the time. If not they will put a lein on her stuff or her paycheck if she works anywhere
Nilla - sorry to hear you were in the hospital again. Hope you are feeling better now.
Jim - I don't think anyone ID'd the little yellow bird.
I should have said "Western Tanager," Paula. Also there are some Orioles with a lot of yellow.
Jim
I see Limuw's dad has flown off after a good long wait and his meal.
Limuw often shows up about now though...we'll see.
Seems kinda young to be heading out on his own, but maybe not.
Jim
EVERYBODY, HAVE A PEACEFUL, RESTFUL SLEEP. COME BACK TOMORROW FRESH.
BE COOL.
JIM
GOOD NIGHT EVERYONE
GOOD NIGHT MITS AND JIM AND ALL OF YOU--
Jo--If you aren't in bed, you should be! Rest well.
I know - I am headed there. I just walked out to computer to shut down but had to come on in for comment!
Love you all! Had a pretty good day
Good Night
Peace to you and yours
Prayers being said for all needs
Good morning Suzanne and all early birds
Good morning, eagle world. Muggy out tonight, but not quite as muggy as yesterday. 80 in PA, 85 here in VA.
MORNING, JO!!! How nice to see you on here, even though it was late. Take it easy, but glad you're home and improving!

Baby being washed!
Love him!
Ok, Bai nursed a bit and washed the squiggler, now they're napping. Took some pics and sent them around. Too cute.
I'm gonna call the cub wiggles. Or squiggles. Poor thing can't seem to sit still, and when he moves around, so does mom.
Bai is rolling...no, Bai is sitting up, must be nursing time.
Bai is trying to lay down, has squiggles under her right arm, I think. She's laying on her left side.
Mom just arrived in Finland. Big squaks, must be calling Finny!
Mom is still squaking, and has her wings out. She appears to be watching something, but can't see anything on cam.
Bai still sleeping.
Grrr, Bai is nursing, not sleeping. My pic stopped updating!
Poof, Ms Fin gone. Bai still nursing, and I think she's almost still sitting up doing it. Won't be long though, think she'll be back laying down.
Bai's still nursing, holding squiggles in her left arm, but she's got her head down, can't see him. She may be washing him whle he nurses.
Bai just rolled over and is sleeping on her back. Can't tell where squiggles is.
GOOD MORNING SUZ---
I NOTICED LAST NIGHT THAT WE GOT OUR FAVORITE CAMERAMAN BACK.
Checking my email. BB
Osprey in 2nd Fin nest. Other Fin nest MT.
Finny is back, look like he's trying to sleep. Musta had a hard night.
SUZANNE I see your osprey juvie is back. I guess parent went back out looking for supper.

It still doesn't tell if they migrate or not.

Capt. says Happy viewing.
SUANNE You might find more out on this one.
http://web.tiscali.it/sv2001/
Thanks, Candy. I just did a google search, and one of the sites that came up was heading south in search of food. Haven't read it yet, but guess they do migrate.
Candy, the 2nd link from Google is SurfTalk. Kinda interesting, it's a blog from folks here in the US talking about cormorants!
Wanda, you and Capt Eagle and Mom have a wonderful vacation!!
Finny just left, and Bai just finished washing the little squiggler.
Wanda, have a wonderful vacation with the Capt, and Mom....remember water,, not too many eagle talons.
new thread is up!!!!!!!
I quit looking to see if they migrate. There are all different kinds and they live in all dirrenent climates.
Good grief, Mits, that's just WAY to hot to be outside! But I'm glad you got to at least stay in with the pandas for your shift. Thought of you yesterday when I was feeding and watering the birds, I was soaked after the first few minutes!
Zooming inn on baby~!!!!!
