Robyn Ann Schonhans If all goes well she will be able to be moved depends where transplant will be, hopkins, UNMC or duke is even an option but Duke is far. Sending prayers to you Wanda Concovia Wright about
HODA, I'm great..so thankful that my surgery will take place with NO HEART PROBLEMS! GG has been exceptionally well for about a week now...all smiles when we go to visit:) Thanks for your concern♥
I'm going to get some sleep now. Blessings to you all and many prayers being said!
OK JUDIE was here and she set the porch light.I have not seen ANDY yet so I will set the security systems in case she does not show. If she does she gets to set them.
Sorry, I didn't copy the complete conversation on FB...Robyn was saying a prayer for TED, a friend of Jo's. Probably moving TORI to a hospital that is more suited for the situation that is going on now??
Didn't know if anyone was up this early or this late for some. I couldn't sleep so I figured I'd see if anyone was out there. I don't think our eagles come in before at least 6:30 do they?
Hey Lori. Thanks for the times. I woke up Buddy but he went out and is now laying in the Lazy-Boy. He was whining a bit like come over here and love on my you got me up too early. Sometimes he just cries for attention. : )
I was as quiet as I could be but the whole gang had to go out. So far we have had a dusting of snow. I think they are calling for 1-5 inches. It is really cold, 21 degrees. (Where is that degree symbol?)
T-Bird, I hope you've managed to fall back asleep. If not, you'll be napping today and going to be early tonight. Try some tea - that works for Hoda. :)
Hopefully LeRoy the foster kitten will be going to his forever home this weekend! His new Mommy will be the sole parent with no kids in the house, so LeRoy will get lots of attention. I'll let you know when it happens.
No not back asleep. Morning DanaMo. I wonder if they are calling for snow in Shrepherdtown. They are having wind like we are. It is treacherousness with that snow and ice.
Front must be coming through here now. Not too cold when I took Bella out but very windy. Gotta get ready for work - Morning Margy!! TTFN and happy Friday!!!
Sure appreciated Wanda's late night post, with an update for Tori....sounds like today could be a very important day for her and the family..... and prayers added for Jo's friend Ted....
Glad to see that Mom Blackwater has that egg tucked underneath... always appreciate Paula's assurances that time off the egg is normal so the eggs can catch up with each other on incubation... hope to see a second egg at BWE soon
need to crank out some family emails...my sister Roanoke Mary is in the air now, first stop Charlotte, NC, then on to Naples... to be with my brother Fred and his wife Maryalice...
Oh ok Thanks Margy thought I had it wrong cause I checked was not on our Birthday list. I thought ok put it there anyhow b/c maybe there was a mistake.
DANAMO I have been concerned since last evening...on FB you said you were in a mood and I wondered if you were upset. This morning you say that you have been better...OK so now what is up? Something is not right and we are here for you. I am going to put you on my prayer list, something/someone is on your mind...
Good morning ya'll. Just have a moment this morning.....We did get snow yesterday, but on the west side of town, where we are, it was dry and grainy and really didn't stick. however, there is black ice and therefore no school today. so tom and livvy are on a four day weekend....
as for me, this might just make for another slow day at work. i'll take my book with me, no problem. it is what it is.
gave up on the technology stuff, wnet to best buy last night and said here please pair my blue tooth and my phone....and they did. apparently this phone had been previously purchased and returend as it had (as i kept saying it did) another blue tooth paired with it and would not accept mine. oh well, done now.
it is 24 degrees this morning and windy. i like the cold, but not the wind. oh well, old man winter has returned. but we are warming up in a couple of days. glad i put the suet out though. the woodpecker sure likes it. so does the squirrell, but know what? the foster puppy won't allow the squirrel in the yard....lol. it is a battle of wills there...yes i will says the squirrel and no you won't says the pup! she also wanted to protect the bird feeder from the birds at first. she finally gave up on that venture!
well folks, have a great day! will check in later....*smiles* to all!
Margy I know after work you are going to see James. Tell him Dana said "hi". Hope you both get to see the "Muppets Movie". Enjoy (:
Glad Roanoke Mary is in the air heading for Naples Florida' Fred and Mary Alice. Continuing prayers for Fred, you, Mary Alice and the rest of your family. During the hump in the road for Fred. ^j^
We aren't going to the park this morning maybe this afternoon If and when it warms up I think our high for the day has already occurred It suppose to the the coldest tonight
I don't think anyone has driven down the hill in Bluefield as of yet. Don't see any vehicle tracks that way. Maybe they did and it blew over tracks. I do see tracks through main street and coming other direction towards stop sign. If you cross you go up hill but no track going up.
Well if I was an eagle I would not want to be flying in this wind either!!!I'd find an evergreen tree somewhere and go three feet down the tip of the tree, I would perch there and watch the world go by...Are there ever greens in West Virginia? I would rather think so but I am not sure...
Good morning to those who showed up after I left for work!! Wanda, as i was washing my hair this AM, I recalled that last night, I dreamed that I came to Winchester to visit you!! Must have gone to sleep with your webcam on my mind! Lynne2, looked at your Christmas photos and finally found out what you were doing in that pic posted on FB - I never would have guessed you were being a radio antenna! Hope you and Steve feel better! Margy, hope things work out for your co-worker and the St. bernard pup at PIGS! I'm sure she'll find the "right" home! Continued prayers for your brother! Lori, still waiting on the name for the new kitty? Lynn, another week of treatment down for you - just keep checking the weeks off and getting good reports. Continued prayers and positive energy for Tori. Denny's brother had his liver transplant at U of M hospital - excellent reputation for transplant surgeries! OK, gotta get ready for the kids. Janet, a former student teacher who now lives and teaches in Nashville but is a friend on FB posted that he has off today, so I figured you had snow as well. Later all!

Thursday I am going to keep this short, my apologies but it has been an exhausting past few days for all of us here. Tori has been keeping her numbers where they need to be except for her co2 again. Her chances diminish the longer she remains on the vent so UNMC, Duke, and Hopkins are working things out. I will post more in a few days but they are talking about using a vv echo and if it is successful they will be able to transplant.
I believe all your voices are being heard and I am so grateful to have all of you in my life. I will let Tori thank you herself when she is better :)
Gettin close to the time to go get Jordyn for the day I will be at their house also this evening for dinner I work tomorrow 10-7 and also Sun then for the next two weeks only 830-530 which is more consistent My little brain doesn't like to remember different schedule since the whole time I worked here always the same time that is what is hard to get use to At least I can go on line at home if I forget what my schedule is
Ah, God bless Royn. I can't imagine what she's going through. Prayers continue for Tori, Lynn, Fred, Kris' family, Harley, CA's dog, Carolyn and all the rest.

I don't understand because I thought the v v echo was for cardiac, so.....MTBD.
33 counties in WV are closed...includes of course Bluefield....also all the way from Elkins down to the tippy toe of WV....and Parkersburg, Kingwood, and places like that....
We have waited patiently, Lord for something to happen, and although Tori is not ridding herself of the co2 as is necessary in this scenario, and we understand how serious her condition still is, we are finally hearing that they may move forward with the transplant, even though she can't get off the vent. There is hope...
I am filled with a renewed sense of joy and hope for Tori!! If there is any way, Dear Father, please make this happen for Tori. Make her an instrument of your grace and mercy.
Let her life shine for others to see the miraculous works you can do in this day. May the doctors hands be guided by Your divine Hands, the Master Healer, and may each person in Tori's path through the coming days be touched by Your guidance and Your will for Tori's life.
I truly believe that you have a plan for Tori's life and I am honored to be one here praying and witnessing what you will do next, Lord.
Bless Robyn, her family and all those praying and loving Tori through this horrible disease she has suffered with. May we confidently look forward to the day very soon that Tori will breathe freely. What a joyous and happy day that will be.
We ask these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, our Comforter, our Healer, our Redeemer and our King. Amen

I need to get in the Word this morning. Much to be thankful for and need to catch up here...........but first a cup of coffee so I can function a bit better.
Lynn - Thank you for the link to the article about the modified ECMO. Truly amazing technology. It could be the answer to get Tori up and stronger as she prepares for her transplant.
I hope and pray she is a candidate fornthisnand they can get her on this as soon as possible.
Will be praying all day and as long as necessary.....
Hmm, Lynn, I think that both Pearl Buck and Margaret Mitchell were correct answers to the Jeopardy question, but I do not remember word-for-word the question. I think he said that there were two women writers, though.
Looked it up, and got Mitchell as the answer, but still not the question.
Lynn, Thanks for the clarification on Wanda living in Martinsburg. I thought I read something at some point about Wanda and Winchester. Kevin went to Shenandoah Music Conservatory in Winchester so the name stuck. Anyway, that's where I went to visit Wanda in my dream! =) So, I guess Robyn meant UMMC, not UNMC. People tend to think of Hopkins when they think of well-known MD hospitals but U of MD has the shock-trauma unit, so it has many very specialized docs as well. When Denny's brother had his surgery, he had a liver transplant and a heart valve repaired at the same time. He was told by his cardiologist that U of MD was the place to go. That was 4 years ago.
The Nobel Prize in Literature 1938 was awarded to Pearl Buck, as was a Pulitzer.......Margaret Mitchell was awarded a Pulitzer Prize in 1937. I know the question specified 1938.
Linda I do thank God and Praise HIM for your prayer. For He gives certain talents to people. I believe as I love to pray. God has given you the talent of prayer. Praise His Holy Name.
LINDA I stayed in the Clairon and I loved it nice and clean and nice people that work there I payed a little over a hundred not for sure of exact I can look it up if needed ok and they do have some signs along the road to find it

Hi T-Bird! You're not alone. Sorry you can't sleep. Is Buddy not being a comfort to you? :)
Thelma, the eagles do not arrive before 6:30 -- it's still too dark then. They can come in as early as 6:50.

JANET - you have a foster puppy! What kind? Who do you rescue for?
I don't think anyone has driven down the hill in Bluefield as of yet. Don't see any vehicle tracks that way. Maybe they did and it blew over tracks. I do see tracks through main street and coming other direction towards stop sign. If you cross you go up hill but no track going up.

Good morning,
Yes, it is a windy morning. Really blowing at the nest.
I started up a fire in the fireplace already. So nice on a cold day. Color, such as it is, at the nest.
Good morning to those who showed up after I left for work!!

I am going to keep this short, my apologies but it has been an exhausting past few days for all of us here.
What a beautiful pink hue at the nest...
WOW, BEAUTIFUL sunlight hitting the nest!! Love that shot in the AM!
Oh, it is pink, Hoda.
Gettin close to the time to go get Jordyn for the day I will be at their house also this evening for dinner I work tomorrow 10-7 and also Sun then for the next two weeks only 830-530 which is more consistent My little brain doesn't like to remember different schedule since the whole time I worked here always the same time that is what is hard to get use to At least I can go on line at home if I forget what my schedule is
SHIRLEY, it sounds warm and toasty in your house with a fire going in the morning...
I am almost finished my cup of tea so I am going to go give my bed another go...talk to you all later the morning...
Was LYNN going to have an early morning this morning? MARGY keep an eye on CAROLYN and I hope the meds are working.
Ah, God bless Royn. I can't imagine what she's going through.
Prayers continue for Tori, Lynn, Fred, Kris' family, Harley, CA's dog, Carolyn and all the rest.

Linda, your words of prayer are so inspiring. Please send them to Robyn.
Linda I do thank God and Praise HIM for your prayer. For He gives certain talents to people. I believe as I love to pray. God has given you the talent of prayer. Praise His Holy Name.
