My cam went down just before he poofed, too. Weird that they were all went down at the same time.
Refreshing the page didn't work for me, nor did just reloading. I had to click on the Conservation tab, then click on Live Animal Cams, then on Eagle Cam to get back in.
I sure hope this cam problem doesn't get worse when eggs and eaglets arrive.
Me too. Refreshing never works anymore. I have to go back out and go to outdoor channel eagle cam. It's driving me nuts.

Watching the movie made me want to go back and read the book again! It was one I read the summer before last - I never have time to read during the school year. But in the summer, I am a fiction-reading-fool!

In my old life I read all the time, and participated in online groups, and worked, and had DH around. Things can sure change. I have a stack of books to get to, but they are collecting dust. I guess the seasons in our life change as they do with the weather.

Lynne1, I promise to call on you next time! We rarely watch movies in a theater anymore either (went to see Girl W/ the Dragon Tattoo on New Year's Eve and that may be my only trip to a theater for 2012). We just ordered it from On Demand. The cost of the movie is cheaper, the popcorn is free, the seats are comfier, we can pause to go to the bathroom, there's no gum stuck to the floor, and I can watch in my PJs! Much better option, IMO!

Melissa (the gal who runs PIGS) has posted pics this morning of a new litter of puppies there - a couple weeks old. Mom Mollie looks like maybe a border collie mix. Adorable puppies!! One is white with a black spot on the top of his head - Melissa has nicknamed him Spot (gee, where have I heard that name before?) Any WV Momsters/Dadsters out there who might wanna adopt this little guy (when he's old enough) and rename him Shep?? =) If you're on FB, you can check them all out on the PIGS page. IMO, nothing in the world is as cute as a puppy! Then again, I'm not a grandmother yet, so my opinion may change some day!

The wood that is NOT under the shelter of the sunroom IS covered with a tarp. So it is dry.....just needs to be moved over to a handy location so that I don't have to go out from under shelter or carry it so far.
WV Dana, my favorite book for 2010 was Cutting for Stone. I guess you could say literary fiction is my favorite. I'm not into romance too much or paranormal. I like mysteries on the hardboiled side but will read a cozy on occasion.

Sandi, I have Vista. I have to go to the bar at the very bottom of the screen and right click there. You open one window, then open the other and then right click. Then click on the option to show windows side by side. I do not reduce them because if you reduce them it does not work.

Hey LOLLY - thanks for that tip! Proof that we learn something new everyday! I think I prefer using the Restore Down option b/c it lets me to keep each screen a little larger and then one overlaps the other. That allows me to have 3 tabs open in one browser window (my Google homepage, my Gmail account, and the blog, and I can just tab back and forth among those) and the cam running on the other browser window. Still, I like learning new tricks!
Den has quieted. Everyone seems to be sleeping peacefully after all that hard work of birthing and being born!

The only thing you missed was sounds apparently.....the birth happened around 8:30 eastern time, and I haven't seen where anyone has posted any photos showing cub(s). I had the cam up then, but it was muted....so I missed the tell-tale sounds, but Jewel was showing nothing but back!
Well, I take that back.....Mits just shared this.....I haven't watched it yet, but guess it shows something!

Took Mom a happy meal for her lunch today. She ate half the burger and drank the milk.--oh well her dog Daisy was thrilled to get the other part of the burger. I ate the apple slices. Arby's has changed her favorite sandwich so I'm trying other things for her to try. She hates those level 1 meals they prepare for her at the nursing home. Level 1 meals are purred.

TaDa.....Christmas stuff is all stowed away! I have a clear bedroom again after a week of maneuvering around boxes!! I knelt on a thick foam pad, and so far knee is good!

Now all I need to worry about is getting the trash out to the end of the driveway. Truck is not 4-wheel drive....hope I can make it....but I'll wait a little bit til I catch my breath---it will be a treacherous walk to the garage.

I think that Gabby Gifford has made the right decision. A shame, but she needs to concentrate on recovery, and isn't able to represent the people she serves.
