Good Morning I would try to name everyone that is in but I know I will miss someone. So Good Morning to those on the blog and those coming onto the blog.
The Raptor stamps have a denomination of 85-cents.... which is good for extra ounce postage on things.... 45-cents plus two 20-cents additions...i.e. two extra ounces weight
Sorry! I did not realize that is the way it is going to be...will come in handy for me because I have extra ounces on a lot of what I mail....but...for regular first class envelopes, you only need 45-cents starting Jan 22. Post cards go up from 29-cents to 32-cents extra ounces remain at only 20-cents extra
Sorry I did not realize when I posted about the Raptor Stamps coming out Jan 20
There are some really neat stamps available, some of which, maybe only by shopping on-line.. there are weathervanes, Bonsai, Dogs at Work, Hawaii shirts...all different denominations....
I went to see her yesterday and she was sleeping. They had her on a BiPAP machine at the time. Years ago, she had to have a tracheostomy due to severe sleep apnea and still has it. The cancer is in her lungs pretty bad so her breathing is not very good. Yesterday morning when her sister went to see her, her pulse ox was 75%. They upped the BiPAP a little and got it into the 90s. Last night, it apparently dropped again and they transferred her to CCU and put her on a respirator through her trach. Thank God for the trach. She is awake and talking so that is a good thing. I am going to go up and see her in a little bit and will let you know more later. Thanks so much for your prayers.
Good morning all. Quite the site at the nest!!! Stay warm and safe everyone...allow the road crews to go out and clear this mess before you all head out...
LYNN glad you are feeling better and I hope it stays that way...Poor little LIESL such short legs to go out in this snow...different with NICK...
MARGY my book is called FLYING WITH AMELIA by ANNE DE GRACE...she is a local author and it is a Canadian publisher too.
I think I will try to go to the CFUW meeting, I heard the road crew over night and it is not snowing right now...it is the light fluffy stuff that came down so no ice to contend with.
LYNN thanks for the update on the NBG new female...so sad...
We once had a discussion in one of my college composition classes about the problem of selecting a school mascot. Safe ones seem to be animals or weather events. However, that is not entirely true, it seems.
Hoda I hope the CFUW is the party for the children and I pray it goes very well. That they have a wonderful time. If it is not (the CFUW) then I don't remember what it is. May it go well.
Back from tennis - today was about exercising, NOT winning! Some days you're the dog and some days you're the hydrant!! Enough said! LYNN, Bella hated having to go outside in the snow in Baltimore. Now she never has to get wet or touch snow (not that we get much)! PAULA, happy to hear that Michael likes his new job; more money is no good if you dislike what you're doing. Very strange news at NBG! The male was seen mating on a branch on 1/16 - unusual that he would find a new mate and bond so quickly with her. Hmmm. Blue Devils? Someone needs to address the issue with Duke Univ. Next I suppose GWU Colonials will be accused of lingering anger about the "late unpleasantness."
Good morning!
Margy, so glad you have a day off and did not have to do snow removal from the buggy. Snowy and cold is good reading weather.
Shirley, enjoy your personal time.
Paula, congrats to Michael on the new job and so much nicer that he enjoys what he is doing. Happy Birthday to Brensin and hope the party is great fun.
Jim, enjoy your geranium time-out.
Headed to do some reading for next week. Very interesting book on extreme killing.lol
Good morning! Judie, loved the story about the proposal at KC. What a neat story for that couple in years to come.
Really surprised about the NBG female eagle. The male is a fast worker!
Sorry about the snow and ice. We were in the low 80's yesterday and the low 30's this morning, but with sunshine! Back up into the 70's tomorrow. Never know what to wear. Hoping and praying for the rain that is forecast for this next week.
This morning I looked out at one of our birdbaths. There were multitudes of Cedar Waxwings and with them two of the fattest Robins. It was fun watching.

Jewel just seems to be scratching presently and now trying to settle down, but a few minutes ago she was standing up on all fours and moving back and forth. Hmmmm????
Was it Justin or Hunter now thinking about it. That went on the Conowingo Trip in the Eagle Express? I am now thinking it was Hunter before I said Justin. Think I was wrong.
Good afternoon already! I've been fascinated with the squirrels skidding around in the yard. They still make it look easy but my cats don't like it at all. I saw the bright red cardinal today and he usually is my forecaster for snow. I still love seeing them.
Great to hear Michael loves his job, Paula and I hope it stays that way - so rewarding to hear for a young person that they love what they have chosen to do! Some older people are still not happy!
Geesh, Sandi....you scared me!!!! Raven's don't play til tomorrow!!!!! I thought I was losing my mind when I read your post! I thought you meant today!!!!
LOL, Judie.......the "late unpleasantness" referred to the Civil War, didn't it? Sure can't see anyone arguing with Colonials!
Remember that the DC basketball team name was changed from the Bullets to the Wizards because of the "violence" conjured up by the word bullets. Pray that the Redskins continue to win all of their court cases about their name!
That is a bull and a cow on the cam out at Pook's. The bull's antlers are really huge! Pook need to find something creative to do with all those antlers she finds.
Well for me I read the article about the school not being able to use the name "Cougar". When I read the article I found it said, "Offensive to Women". I thught what the sam hills are they talking about. Then I read on. Lord I must be naive or something. How many of you know the name "Courag" mean't that????????
Lynn you are right about Hunter and Dustin being on our road trip. Yes, Dana I knew the today's usage of the word Cougar. People concerned about these teams' names are really out of it. And Yes to me the Redskins will always be the Redskins..........
I am doing 'nothing' today Hedgie and I am glad you don't need to venture out. I don't see much melting happening.
WOW Mema Jo you knew that about the word "Cougar". Where have I been??? Well let me see I don't have a daughter in high school. I don't have a large family where I might hear a conversation like this.
Sharon I am so sorry to hear Nila's condition is getting worse. I am happy that you two were able to talk. Continue prayers for Nila, her family and for you Sharon.^j^
Taking a break from the IEP writing; 1 load of laundry in the washer and 1 in the dryer. WVDANA - there was a TV show on not too long ago called Cougar Town with Courtney Cox - kinda made the cougar connotation popular. Some years ago, Baltimore County Public Schools made any school with an Indian as a mascot change it, saying the reference wasn't PC. Here in Indian River School District, Indians are alive and well! Some people like to make issues of things just for the sake of doing it. Living in a very small town now, I see how everything is everyone's business! KAY, you commented earlier about my complaint about the slow mail. The pigeons seem to do OK with the letters, they just have a little more trouble with the large packages! Again, living in a small town means we have a very small post office. There are still way more wonderful things about living here than there are drawbacks. A neighbor on my old street sent me an article from a local paper that there have been 8 burglaries in my old neighborhood just in the month of January! My across-the-street neighbors were robbed last Friday while they were at the grocery store between 9AM and 11AM. Burglars got $8,000 in cash and about $20,000 in jewelry! I'll take slow mail anyday!! Went online to order stuff for poor old Bandit before tennis this morning - $70 for Dasuquin for his arthritis, potassium citrate with cranberry to prevent more bladder stones, and FortiFlora for his digestive problems. I told Denny we're sticking to one dog at a time from now on! Don't know how those of you with lots of animals afford it! OK, back to work - later!! Call me if the eagles show up (I have the cam running but have to keep it minimized while I'm typing this IEP).
Ha Ha Lori so Kate is calling the orange strip kitten Mac and I love about the "Mac Attack" lol That is a cute name. How are you going to decide which kitten/s you will keep?
Lynn, you were talking about Liesl in the snow. I thought about our first puppy, Rikki. We had to house train her when we had snow on the ground. I put some cute pictures of her on my family pics blog.
Good Afternoon, Eaglebuds! Got home late Fri. & never even got on 'puter! Need to go back to Chelsea, but very gloomy out. We saw a great 1 hr. Smithsonian show on New Mexico. They must be doing different states from centuries ago to now. Neat about Indians there & their adobes still standing who left an area in 1100 due to drought. Then I did a head plant in chair! Checked Jewel today & see no cubs yet. Read about Honey & Lucky denning together---Odd Couple!
Sharon, prayers to Nila, you & her family.
Hoda--good luck driving! I see you will NOT use a skate board!!!They must do a great job on the roads!
Read Paula's Micheal enjoys his job. So great he could work in his preferred field! Have a good family weekend.
Very interesting about the NBG eagle. I hate to hear of any eagle dying and sure hope it wasn't the last female who they found dead. The young one with the spotted head showing up sure sounded familiar.
SHARON, prayers for Nila and that her family is being comforted, as well.
LOLLY, what a TUTE, yes, tute, puppy! Rikki was adorable and your yard looks gorgeous with all that snow in the front!
Don't worry, Dana. It's not an important usage of the word "cougar" anyway. I "might" have heard it used that way by one of our late night comedians once, but I trashed it and forgot about it until now.
You're not so naive, and it's not a mainstream usage anyway.
By the way though, they could have selected one of the several other names for the same animal: puma, wildcat, panther, mountain lion, etc.
Thanks, everyone, for clearing up the Nila, Nilla confusion on my part. So now I'm praying for both of them. [:~D]
Yes, the "late unpleasantness" is a southern term for the civil war. Never know when we might want to revisit the world of Scarlet O'Hara. Yes, Fall Church is still the courgars. Forgot about Wake Forest -- can't imagine there has not been a religious revolt so far.
Sharon, very sad that Nila seems to be failing so quickly. Our momster/dadster prayers for Nila, her family, and you.
So Mac it is. Cute name.
Sandi, two of the most frequent times for home robbery are mid-morning and mid-afternoon. In general, when adults are more likely out shopping and doing errands or have left for work or are returning from work. So fortunate you can afford the medications needed for Bandit.
I hope each and everyone of you stay safe in the terrible weather you all are having I won't mention Fl weather at all Did you all see all the floods in Oregon and Wash and some of Calif you aren't affected are you JIM or ANDY
About an inch of snow here, but it is only 29°here, and not melting. Our kitten are sliding all over the patio, chasing their food dish...wont hold still:)
Our school was the Trojans and still is and the funny thing is our class year is the one who named it My mom and dad just snickered when we told them the name off course we were dumb
Watching Dayton Basketball on ESPN2 so glad the game is on TV. Playing Xavier, Dayton's biggest rival. They are 1,2 in the Atlantic 10. Love my basketball and so fun to have a new team to root for!
So funny I mentioned to a bunch of associates and work and none of them have ever heard or thought about the birdbath with a heater in it They were all amazed and surprised
Yes, Lolly your warm weather makes me very jealous. I keep track of the weather in Naples. That's where I want to move. I even found a house! LOL! Now I just have to convince Monte.
the nest looks so dark and dreary now the color is all gone odd I say Still reading I will catch up just as I have to go back to work I punched out at 17 after and took me 10 min to get home from the time I punched Back to reading Did you alll notice that I put music with the last video it finally took

LINDA at work want me to call her at home I have know her for about 35 years she worked at Zayres also she use to be the personnel manager
thought I'd brighten things up with some yellow posies today...
☺
Kay - PHC, Seth and Malcolm tonight ?
Sandi: my sister Mary plays a lot of tennis when in Roanoke, think she is missing that while in Florida, but she is enjoying her dips in the Gulf of Mexico in the meantime
MARGY, just Seth tonight. It's too hard to walk the dog on snow and ice and I'd have to be "it" for last call at night and first in the morning. Yep, we'll be listening to PHC, hopefully along with you ! ♥
IEP finished, now I just have to do the Prior Written Notice (educational bull%$!t for those of you not familiar with the jargon). Just as I finished the last page, I heard a clunk on the cam. Sure would like to see an eagle or two as my reward for working hard!
DMO - so far I have resisted all urges to check out this pregnant bear b/c i do not need one more cam to be addicted to!! You folks and Belle and Shep are addictive enough!!
Shirley in case I forgot when you mentioned about Susan getting another job. Nice from going from assistant manager in a store. To the Jane and Jack store as Manager. (: Happy for her!
LOLLY - Nope, won't even go to the jewel site. Tempting, but I'll pass! LYNN - speaking of Margy's avatar being a reminder of spring, winter is 1/3 over - HOORAY!! On this dreary. gray, cold day, I posted photos of some of my flowers from last summer on my blog. Last summer was a great year for my flowers! Can't wait til spring when things green up again and I can start thinking about working outdoors again - so envious of Lolly's ability to work in the yard in January! JUDY, I wouldn't expect folks in FL to know anything about bird bath heaters!
Starting to get myself ready to go to Mass. Hubby says that pavement should be clear BUT I am trying out my new black high snow boots! I hope I don't get many more reasons to use them!
WILL...NOT...WATCH...JEWEL... WILL...NOT...WATCH...JEWEL... WILL...NOT...WATCH...JEWEL!!! WILL...STAY...PRODUCTIVE!!! (I feel like HODA when we try to talk her into eating those brownies!!) IEP and Prior Written Notice finished!! Two loads of laundry washed and dried! Off to strip dirty sheets off the beds and throw them in the washer!
Continued prayers for Sharon's friend, Nila her friends & family.
All this talk about spring/summer flowers is heartwarming; not body warming. My snowdrops and daffodils were breaking through before the storm but I know they'll be fine. Teresa & Jimbo planted some more bulbs for me in the fall - tulips & CRS!!! another one I cant' think of now.
Lori, the new kitty's name is Mac? How cute. I though maybe champagne? Whatever his name, he's a keeper.
Paula, Brensin is 4? My Max was 4 on Wednesday. We must get them together for a playdate. ;o) They are so cute at this age! Of course, they always were and will be. Max's brother, Jared, will be 22 this coming Wednesday. Teresa calls Max their blessing.
Well, gotta move around a bit before I get too stiff.
Taking break from some chores. I think that's Jewel's old collar behind her. Think I read it was in there a few days ago from one of the Chats or SS's as they call them.Chats are on the Ustream & PixController cam sites. Sandi, you can stay away until someone announces the Blessed Event occurring!!She's mostly sleeping now. Margy, love your yellow flowers. Didn't show daughter my spring/summer pics, as I thought it might be upsetting! She couldn't keep much growing anyway because of the drought & most of her azaleas bit the dust due to (armadillos). I want to see Jo's boots, too! I have some lovely high heel and Western boots (w/butterflies) in their boxes. Would probably kill my feet and be a "Fall Risk" again! LOL I'm into UGG types now! Think I'm staying home today since I've gotten into a short roll w/chores! Have a great Day. Holler if Birds come!
Darn cam timed out....I see Shep is still hanging out!
Loretta, I used to have some very fancy western boots......3-4" heels....went to Goodwill a few years ago after NOT having been worn in 20+!!!! I have one plain pair left with only a stirrup heel...they get some use when working outdoors!! Wonder if Jo's boots are fake UGGS? I got a pair of them a couple of years ago. Don't like them, but they are the safest thing for me when there's snow and ice!

Great that it was a fun evening, Judie....
Just threw out peanuts and bird seed (corn feeder is MT) and nothing sank, so guess there is a little crustiness.
Here was a nice surprise at Finland Water Nest overnight, 6:57 am or something their time:
Hooded Crows at Finland Water Nest
I put them on my Feathers and Fur blogspot
Yes, there are some lovely evergreens at NCTC, a good bit of Cedars...not far from the nest
The Moon is in "new phase" - completely dark for a day or so....so all the light at the nest was from the SNOW ☺

Morning all!
Looks like we have about 3" of snow, with some ice on top...it's all stopped here. Birds are at the feeder like there's no tomorrow.
Yay, Brensin's party is still on, Ajay had called earlier, her driveway wasn't plowed, but it's getting plowed right now, so the party's back on!
Interesting about the NBG pair!
Nick is not too sure about the snow, I think because it's crusty on top! But he's back outside checking it out again!
Michael and Laura got in about 11:30 last night, we stayed up late talking. Michael had his first week at his new job, he loves it.
Glad to see that the party is back on, Paula.
Be careful out there, everyone.
Paula I am happy that Michael likes his new job.
Glad that the Birthday party for Brensin is still going to take place. How old will he be?
Oh Dana, sorry you asked that the other day! Brensin will be 4.
Oh good, Paula....
Happy Birthday to little Brensin, sorry I don't know , is THIS the birthday day or just the party day?
And good about Michael and his new job,
and Shirley
Also, Congratulations to Susan on her new job, Best Wishes for total happiness with that.

Cougar Rejected as School Mascot
We once had a discussion in one of my college composition classes about the problem of selecting a school mascot. Safe ones seem to be animals or weather events. However, that is not entirely true, it seems.
Good grief.
Then there
Oh, excuse the last two words. I had another thought, then deleted it.
WWell, Luna wants to go out the front door, so I will encourage her to go out the back door. Silly dog.
I will sign off and go brush the snow off of my car in prepartaion to driving to CFUW...Have a GREAT and SAFE day everyone. See you in the evening...

Good morninG,

I see you have a snowfall,
and we are experiencing some moderate rain as I speak... means I don't have to water the geraniums for a couple of days

Very strange news at NBG! The male was seen mating on a branch on 1/16 - unusual that he would find a new mate and bond so quickly with her.
So many things to do this weekend - I have an IEP to write (have put it off and put it off but the meeting is Wed. and I need to send the draft home on Monday for the parents to read so ...), lots of laundry, 3 bathrooms and the upstairs to clean, grocery shopping, and the Ravens game. Lynn do you know the first name of your daughter Christie's neighbor with the Agent Orange?
I was reading that article about the cougar mascot, and except for the fact that Utah has some mascots by that name already, I think the issue is ridiculous.

Trojans, Gamecocks, etc. . . Lots of connotations in team names if you want to go there.
Some people in Culpeper had problems with "Blue Devils." That is what started our conversation to begin with.
Hmm, some school kids do live on that level. Depends on how old they are, and how silly.
Interesting story from NBG. Sad about the dead eagle, but good that there is a new female.
Hmmm. Blue Devils? Someone needs to address the issue with Duke Univ. Next I suppose GWU Colonials will be accused of lingering anger about the "late unpleasantness."
Good morning!

Back home from the hospital. They have Nila back on the BiPAP machine. Her kidneys are shutting down and I think her liver too. She was able to talk to me although it is really hard to understand what she is saying with the BiPAP on. I told her I had the momsters praying for her and she got a huge grin on her face.
Jewel is awake and moving around strangly. Labor?
Oh, Sharon, so sorry for Nila. I am glad you were able to talk with her.
Jewel just seems to be scratching presently and now trying to settle down, but a few minutes ago she was standing up on all fours and moving back and forth. Hmmmm????
Liesl went out and ventured a little ways into the snow---and didn't like it! Came right back in.
Lynn do you know the first name of Christie's neighbor with the Agent Orange?
Was it Justin or Hunter now thinking about it. That went on the Conowingo Trip in the Eagle Express? I am now thinking it was Hunter before I said Justin. Think I was wrong.

Sharon, so sorry that Nila is deteriorating so quickly. Prayers for her and all of her family and friends.
News sounding positive for Fred, Margy....and for Mary and MaryAlice to take a dip sounds like a wonderful respite for them.
Paula, good to hear that Michael is enjoying his new job!
Shirley, saw that article about the Cougars. Ridiculous. The school I was in my freshman year, Falls Church High, was and is the COUGARS!!!!!!
Hoda, do be careful!!! And enjoy your special activities!
No, Dana, I do not know his first name.
There may be a moose confrontation on
Moosewatch.com
Very sorry to hear about our good buddy, Nilla, God bless her.
I'm praying for her too, believe me.

Jim,this is not our Nilla it is Sharon's friend, Nila. We are praying for her and for Sharon
Oh, Jim---you are so right about the team name issue. Agree 100%!
That is a bull and a cow on the cam
out at Pook's. The bull's antlers are
really huge! Pook need to find something creative to do with all those
antlers she finds.
Jim, it is not momster Nilla, but a good friend of Sharon's named Nila.
Hi, Mema Jo!!! How is our matriarch today?
Sandi, Liesl has complete shelter to go out in, too....totally up to her if she wants to venture into the open!!!!
Looks like the moose are doing some headbutting!
Well for me I read the article about the school not being able to use the name "Cougar". When I read the article I found it said, "Offensive to Women". I thught what the sam hills are they talking about. Then I read on. Lord I must be naive or something. How many of you know the name "Courag" mean't that????????
Dana, I think it was Hunter on the Conowingo trip. Don't think the Bluefield gang came up for that. I think maybe Wanda's Dustin was there.
So sorry, Sharon.....she's going downhill fast....:( ((((HUGS)))) for you.
Lynn you are right about Hunter and Dustin being on our road trip.
Yes, Dana I knew the today's usage of the word Cougar. People concerned about
these teams' names are really out of it.
And Yes to me the Redskins will always be the Redskins..........
I am doing 'nothing' today Hedgie and I
am glad you don't need to venture out.
I don't see much melting happening.
Heading for the sofa to digest my lunch! BBL.
Decorah Nest - thankful no eggs !
Lynn you are right it was Hunter.
I remember him and Margy went down around the rocks near the water investigating.
Then when Dustin fell asleep on the Eagle Express we were kidding around "saying we should put some lipstick on him while he is asleep".
Wow - BWE lucked out - no snow in their nest!
Megan still has the hummingbird - in the snow! Tough little bird!
WOW Mema Jo you knew that about the word "Cougar". Where have I been??? Well let me see I don't have a daughter in high school. I
don't have a large family where I might hear a conversation like this.
Mema Jo how did you know????
Parent at Sequoyah Ok just won't
give a good look at those eggs!!!!
I did see 3 eggs no chick yet.
And we have the Demon Deacons of Wake Forest.
Sharon I am so sorry to hear Nila's condition is getting worse. I am happy that you two were able to talk. Continue prayers for Nila, her family and for you Sharon.^j^
Parent at Sequoyah Ok keeps calling out. Maybe wants a shift change.
I have a large family, Dana with all age groups and they try not to let me be too old fashion in my vocabulary. lol
I forgot about lunch - glad I remembered in time not to miss it
completely.
BBL
I GOT A PICTURE of 3 eggs at Sequoyah OK. I will send in an email.
Lynn, you were talking about Liesl in the snow. I thought about our first puppy, Rikki. We had to house train her when we had snow on the ground. I put some cute pictures of her on my family pics blog.
Rikki in the snow
Kathryn came home awhile back with Hunter and Hunter's friend. Now they are headed out to pick up a pizza. I am hungry.
Home for lunch Good afternoon EAGLE BUDS
Good to hear you are feeling better LYNN
Don't worry, Dana. It's not an important usage of the word "cougar" anyway. I "might" have heard it used that way by one of our late night comedians once, but I trashed it and forgot about it until now.
You're not so naive, and it's not a mainstream usage anyway.
By the way though, they could have selected one of the several other names for the same animal: puma, wildcat, panther, mountain lion, etc.
Thanks, everyone, for clearing up the Nila, Nilla confusion on my part. So now I'm praying for both of them.
[:~D]
C(°Ù¿°)D Jim
Just started reading todays blog I see looks like no eagles so far no feet prints in nest that I can see Is the sun out to melt the snow?????
LYNN was it you that gave the link to the tree with all the eagles Where is it right now there is 22 white heads just a glowing in the nest
so the NBG eagle will just pick a new partner Odd I say not unless he just wants a baby LOL
YES SHARON tell NILA we are all prayng for her
Yes, the "late unpleasantness" is a southern term for the civil war.
Hi Jo. Enjoy your "doing nothing" day.
OH I see LOLLY mentioned her warm weather we are warm also just won't brag about it LOL or is this bragging about it without saying a temp

IS something happeneing?? Come on, Jewel....let us in on it!!
LYNN, I woke up from a morning nap just in time to see the tail end of that Vodka report. Think it was CBS and they said it would be on line.
As for beer, make mine Heineken Lite, I'm not a cheap date. ☺
Norfolk Daddy is determined to make this a productive season. Sad about his first choice, but kind of cute that he knows there is no time to waste !
SHARON, praying for Nila's comfort and may all who love her be comforted !
LOLLY, cute pics of Rikki and of Michael and Laurel when still kids.
Back to my chores after a little break.....
Sounds like I better go have a look at Jewel...
thought I'd brighten things up with some yellow posies today...
☺
Kay - PHC, Seth and Malcolm tonight ?
Sandi:
my sister Mary plays a lot of tennis when in Roanoke, think she is missing that while in Florida, but she is enjoying her dips in the Gulf of Mexico in the meantime
oxxoxo Hello Afternoon Eagle Pals
VERY LOUD CLUNK RIGHT NOW AT OUR NEST......
Something just made a noise at our nest
Here's the Vodka as a cleaner and remedy list as given on CBS Saturday Morning Show.
Vodka Power
Skoal !
Come on down Belle and Shep!!
What's the llink for Jewel cam
MARGY, just Seth tonight. It's too hard to walk the dog on snow and ice and I'd have to be "it" for last call at night and first in the morning. Yep, we'll be listening to PHC, hopefully along with you ! ♥
JudyE---that cam is on the northern Mississippi River in Iowa.
Lolly, my security word for posting on your pics was DOGIESSE. Unbelievable!!!
IEP finished, now I just have to do the Prior Written Notice (educational bull%$!t for those of you not familiar with the jargon). Just as I finished the last page, I heard a clunk on the cam. Sure would like to see an eagle or two as my reward for working hard!
Jewel is back further in her den.....scraping up bedding....
Jewel Cam
You're going to get hooked, DANAMO !
THROWING up dust and dirt now!
Jewel's the bear is digging a hole to China.
I think she is frightened....doesn't know what is happening or what to do about it......
DMO - so far I have resisted all urges to check out this pregnant bear b/c i do not need one more cam to be addicted to!! You folks and Belle and Shep are addictive enough!!
Wow, I think Jewel is trying to dig to China. She has the dust a flyin!!!
What is that noise on the cam??
Someone shoveling/ breaking up a layer of ice?
I saw what your security word was, Lynn. Too funny!
Yes, poor Jewel. She is really uncomfortable.
Yes, Sandi, the bear cam is addictive, but how many chances do you get to see a bear give birth?!
And, Jewel is a jewel of a bear. Bless her!
DanaMO;
Jewel Cam
I have to admit, though, if I was still teaching, I would not be on any cams or blogs. I did not have time for anything!! Nice to have my life back.
She's settling back down now. Poor bear.
Margy, what pretty YELLOW flowers!!!! Almost looks like spring!
JudyE---call that lady this evening. Is she in mngmt. at your store now? Just be careful what you say or tell her! Curious to know what she wants!
LOL---why WOULD FL residents ever need to worry about birdbath heaters??!!!!
so neat about Megan's hummingbird overwintering at her Roost, it's a Rufous-sided....
Russ has rigged up a little heating system for the feeder
Have Jewel's cam up now, lost everything there for a few minutes, quirky computer today
The Sun ☼ is out here in Martinsburg WV
Shirley in case I forgot when you mentioned about Susan getting another job. Nice from going from assistant manager in a store. To the Jane and Jack store as Manager. (: Happy for her!
Poor gal Jewel cannot get comfortable....
would love to hear the little squeal of a cub soon....
something just shook NCTC nest tree cam
Thanks Lynn
Sandi
admire your stick-to-it-iveness with that IEP - hope it comes together the way you want it to....
LOve the way Jewel looks right at the camera.
2 eggs in view at BWE
won't ;ast long....
sorry by the time my slow post posted the parent was back and on'em at BWE
Sandi your flowers are beautiful. Know wonder you can't wait to start planting.
Starting to get myself ready to go to Mass. Hubby says that pavement should be clear BUT I am trying out my new
black high snow boots! I hope I don't get many more reasons to use them!
BBILW
Jewel is getting some lazy shut-eye......at least with the one that shows!
Sandi, know what you mean about resisting the Jewel cam...haven't gone there yet, but think I'm about to jump in!
Ahhhh, look at Jewel's (bear) sweet face right in the cam!
WILL...NOT...WATCH...JEWEL...

IEP and Prior Written Notice finished!!
Two loads of laundry washed and dried!
Off to strip dirty sheets off the beds and throw them in the washer!
I'd like to see a picture of Jo in those jazzy high black boots....
ttfn xo ♥ Be careful, anyone going out, things will get slick again after dark
I'm not going anywhere ! Except to prop my feetsies up....

Would like to see Lynne2 pop on, Lolly, holler for her again, maybe it'll work
(( Hugs, all ♥ ))
They are high black 'ole' lady' boots.
lol - No Heel what so ever. But safe
& oh so warm!
Lynne has been on FB today on Megan's page. So I think she is well.
Hello! Checking in this cold, snowy day.
We must get them together for a playdate. ;o)
They are so cute at this age! Of course, they always were and will be. Max's brother, Jared, will be 22 this coming Wednesday. Teresa calls Max their blessing.
Well, gotta move around a bit before I get too stiff.
Will try to be back later.
Oh Sandi, I remember my fellow teachers writing those IEPs. They had a computer program to do it with, but I am not sure it made things any better.
I am back...
Someone just shook the Camera!!!
I see no eagles in the enst so far.
I decided not to tempt fate...Man oh man are the roads the pits...the worst they have been all
SHEP
I LOVE HOW HE WALKS ON SNOW...GINGERLY I WOULD SAY
EXPLORING WHAT IS THIS? WHERE IS MY CUP?
WOW - how beautiful is it to see an eagle against the snow!!? My reward for all my hard work today!!

SOUND OF MACHINERY AROUND THE NEST
Darn cam timed out....I see Shep is still hanging out!
Loretta, I used to have some very fancy western boots......3-4" heels....went to Goodwill a few years ago after NOT having been worn in 20+!!!! I have one plain pair left with only a stirrup heel...they get some use when working outdoors!!
Wonder if Jo's boots are fake UGGS? I got a pair of them a couple of years ago. Don't like them, but they are the safest thing for me when there's snow and ice!
MT NEST
Dang. Lost the cam.
