I guess she approves of it huh now she gets up with flugg stuck to her foot and now he looks like he wants his turn oH NO that was Shep in cup I see spot on Belle Shep flew out again
When I was teaching, I occasionally showed my students the nest. Once, someone asked me if the adults were baby eagles. They were confused because the nest is so large in comparison to the sizes of the eagles.
She's having a hard time deciding where to place the limb. It's like moving furniture around--does it look good here ? Maybe it would be better over there. Hmmm, no that isn't right either.......
Sorry about the double post. Somehow, I managed to lose the post in which I said I would be trying to catch a few Z's before doing anything else this morning.
Had a good night at bridge. Actually came in 2nd for a prize of a big $3.
Morning all! Great report on the morning visit from all!
DanaMo---speaking of dogs eating strange things----a few years ago my sister's Aussie ate a whole PACKAGE of bacon---wrapper and plastic insert included! It all came out okay, which is the only way she knew that she had done it. She thought she was losing her mind looking for the lost package!
Lynn-a whole package of bacon, wrapper and all sounds like something mine would do! I wish they would stop! At lease the bacon probably tasted good, foam rubber though? geez...
My Italian Greyhound, Pepper, once ate the leg off a dried starfish! The vet had me give her peroxide to make her vomit, before the pieces could do any intestinal damage.
Good morning! Coughed all night. Once got up and sat in chair. lol Thought about getting on the blog but decided to try to sleep.
Have a 2:30 appointment with Carol. This is messing with out trip to Laurel's. Groan... This will put us in horrible rush hour traffic on the north side of Fort Worth. We may have to cancel out on the choir program.
I need to go dry my hair and try to get some things accomplished. Do not feel terribly bad but my cough is horrible!!!
Read where you are getting your paper delivered up to the house, Lynn. Stay after them to get it to the porch. Can you give the paper person some cookies and let them know how much you appreciate it when it is on the porch "due to your condition." Surely that would work! ☺
Panetta Formally Shuts Down U.S. War in Iraq After nearly nine years, 4,500 American dead and 100,000 Iraqi dead, U.S. officials formally shut down the war in Iraq — a conflict that Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said was worth the American sacrifice, because it set Iraq on a path to democracy.

It will be interesting to see what happens to the bone as the year progresses.

I saw your FB post about the starfish, Delphia! UGH!

4,500 is a lot of sacrificed lives...
It sure is Jo and 4500 families who will never be the same! I just don't get it!
WE HAVE A NEW THREAD!!!
It's about time they shut it down. 4500 is too many.
Come on over to the new thread everyone :)
